Burgermeister Schlesisches Tor in Berlin

It's a burger stand located under a bridge. There are a couple of tables and refills (no chairs) like in a good street stall. The burger has an incredible flavor (its quality/price ratio is excellent) and a good size. I ordered the double burger and an order of fries that almost defeated me by not being able to finish the plate. I highly recommend them. Its quality makes you forget the cold of being outside (we went in November)

A legendary place in Berlin and the first one created under this brand. It is located in the former city toilets under the railway bridge. Lack of space for eating inside the premises, which is especially noticeable on cold days. Every now and then you can also hear very loud trains approaching. Ordered a classic hamburger for €4.9, a cheeseburger for €5.8 and a meisterburger for €6.5. The meat is very juicy, firm and well seasoned. A shiny bun, slightly soaked with meat juice. The standard set of vegetables for each burger consists of iceberg lettuce, tomato, pickled cucumber and red onion. All vegetables are fresh and full of distinct flavor. The cheeseburger also has really tasty, fatty and buttery cheese. The Meisterburger comes with fried onions and bacon. Even fatter than the others and I feel like it's bigger. The tastiest item so far. Also very good fries made on site for €3.30. Additional surcharge for ketchup: €0.50. Crispy, medium-hard inside. To sum up, this is undoubtedly a must-visit place in Berlin, even for a burger fan (which I consider myself to be). However, I would prefer to choose warmer days. I recommend.

Somehow I still remember the delicious burger from here before 2020. But now the taste is degrading. Once in a while it's still good to eat there but I've removed this burger place from my top favourites. Service is good.

If zero stars were given, I would give zero, but it was a big disappointment when we went to a place by transferring only by looking at its score. We were embarrassed in the cold. We had to eat sitting on the bicycle lock poles in a broken toilet. Finally, we couldn't stand it and took shelter in the metro station. The cleanliness and hygiene is bad. The hamburger is ordinary. If you make it yourself at home, it tastes the same. We liked the fries. You can only go here in the summer, but you shouldn't come to this part of the city just for that. .

Cool idea with the former pee house. The burgers are really great. When it comes to bread rolls, there are better ones. And during the lunch break when there is a lot of traffic, the waiting time is very long.

Since Burgermeister has been there, I have bought a burger every now and then, and they have always been juicy and simply perfect. I recently ordered the "Butcher Master" via "UberEats". It essentially consists of two paddies, fried onions, cheese, ketchup, bacon and onions. But I left out the ketchup, onions and bacon in order to have the pure burger taste. Price just under €14. The taste experience was a disaster. The paddies seemed to be overcooked, were thin, dry and totally over-salted. I obviously had to throw away some of the paddies that had been on the grill for a long time After all, the customer can't defend himself. Only the fries that were ordered were crispy and tasty. Unfortunately, I probably wouldn't have gotten much better at McDonald's and the like

It's authentic and a unique experience especially knowing their history. It's not like you can usually get food from a former public toilet :) The food is good, but it's all about experience otherwise dining under a bridge and in a crowded and polluted area, is not the most relaxing time for having your burger.

Hamburgers are delicious. The male employee taking orders seemed a bit annoying to customers. I have placed an order. And I immediately asked him to swap a hamburger for another, better one. He was too worried. I didn't understand it. The hamburger I changed was more expensive.

This burger place is like a must when you're in Berlin! I always see people eating here all the time since 11am until late night😂 The location is PERFECT! Such a unique location. The food was okay and they are open until late! We always go here after drinks and it's nice for late night snack. And it's SOOOO CHEAP!!! The fries here is also really good. We are from Belgium and we love fries and the fries here was perfect hHhhahahahh Really recommend the place to everyone!

Every thing is alright food is also pretty good. but the worst part of this restaurant is there one employee name as anglo Anthony he doesn't have the sense how to speak how to behave with the customers and others in the store. Today I realized how a single person or a thing destroyed the whole reputation of years.

Good experience in one of the most famous street food burger joints in Berlin. The idea of ​​eating a burger in a kiosk under the subway is fun. Very crispy fried potatoes and tasty accompanying sauces, even the cheese one. The bread used for the buns is excellent and the meat is decent. Good pickles, abundant onion in all the burgers which doesn't help digestion. Good value for money. Overall a must try for a typical street food experience.

It's a nice burger place, with outdoor seating. The tables are next to a busy street, so don't eat there if you're disturbed by the noise or want a proper place to sit. Burgers were okay ; a bit burnt, but not dry. Fries were also okay. In summary, this place stands out with its location, not with its food.

As an american and burger aficionado, I would attest that this is indeed one of the better burger places I’ve tried in Berlin. Its more shake shack style than five guys. I got double meat and it was just a bit salty tho, might go for more vegetables next time.

Fleischermeister was our favorite. Service was fast. You should try the potatoes and cheese sauce. I had already eaten the hamburger when I found out that this place used to be a toilet😂 Although the seating seems uncomfortable, it is very practical.
