All in all, a great place. The food arrives quickly and hot, tastes great, the atmosphere is nice and relaxed, and the burger is very good. Nothing to complain about, and the prices are super fair.

The Hausmeister and cheese fries are still very good. Before the big expansion in Berlin began, there was already more sauce on the burgers and cheese fries. But there are also other free sauces available to buy later. Always a cheerful crew.

My go to burger when im in Berlin. Located in Kreuzberg but there is other locations as well.

Burgers very good. Staff hectic, unfriendly, do not speak or understand the local language. A portion of mayo from the dispenser costs nothing extra, but the small bag of mayo if you want to take the food with you costs 50 cents.

We found this pub completely by accident. Later we found out that these were public toilets. We were there for the second time and we will probably come back when visiting Berlin. The food was quick but tasty. There are always a lot of people there. For me it's great for fast food.

As far as I know, this spot used to be a public bathroom that was transformed into the restaurant. It turned out it was the best hamburger i ate in Berlin. (One of the most Berliner thing I've seen during my trip)

Hamburger da 5 stelle! Fast-Food con la carne e le patatine superiore alla media,ottimo anche il cheddar fuso da mettere sulle patate. Salse infinite a disposizione ,insomma tutto quello che ci si dovrebbe aspettare. Qualità prezzo simile al McDonald's ma nettamente più squisito. Unica pecca le panche per sedersi,direi abbastanza scomode per pranzare e alzarsi il più velocemente possibile.

I came back again after 8 years and there won’t be a third time. Over the years, the taste of burgers has changed for the worse - the cutlets are thin, burnt and dry on the sides, there is little juiciness, the potatoes are all in the form of small “stubs”, the taste is also so-so. You shouldn’t set a “must visit” goal. It was much better before.

Needless to say, if you come to Berlin, you will eat at this branch…

Burgermeister is certainly a great fast food burger but it is not in any way “the best in the world”. That doesn’t matter if you want a good burger at a very cool location for not too much money. A great fast burger is always smash as far as I am concerned. That’s exactly what you get here. The Maillard reaction is amazing and the envelope is wonderful for holding it without ingredients falling apart. Everything here is predictably good: all the typical good ingredients and a good bun to go with it. The ingredient proportions are perfect. Certainly come here if you are in a mood for a good burger.

I think I heard about the “Burgermeister” for the first time almost 10 years ago and have always wanted to try the “Master of All Classes”. Well, in February 2025 the time had finally come... And what can I say - the burger was very good! The wait was basically worth it 😃 I only have to make a big deduction for the “ambience”. There are seats and bar tables... But it's not "nice" here. You should also pay attention to the pigeons that sit on the steel beams directly above you. It actually only splashed a few centimeters away from me during my visit (= pigeon almost pooped on me or my food). It's certainly nicer in spring or summer - but that probably won't solve the pigeon problem.

Delicious burger with a wide choice of ingredients and quality products. Good value for money. Here you can eat outside on small standing tables, or decide to take away. I recommend!

The food is very good! Super good burger! The fries are good too (a little salty but that’s the German side!) Taking takeaway is surely the best choice because on site it is still outside and very close to the road so a little noisy! I recommend

wollte mal sehen was an diesem Hype echt ist, also mein Burger war kalt und hat alt geschmeckt ,nach einem Bissen habe ich aufgehört auch die Pommes unterirdisch. Bei meinem Partner war der Burger auch nur noch lauwarm.... wie kann das sein ??? wird doch geworben , frisch zubereitet.....Also bei uns definitiv nicht.

The best burger we have had, ever. It’s under a train track, in the middle of the road and used to be a public toilet. But they are delicious.

Unfortunately we cannot give more than one star. We wanted to order food today at 2 p.m. and were already looking forward to it. After waiting for an hour, our order, which consisted of a paltry 2 burgers and 2 fries, still didn't come, even though the shop is around the corner (10 minute walk). Don't understand how something like this can happen. We couldn't reach anyone at Lieferando because there was no number on file. We then tried to call using the number that is stored here. Always busy, which cannot be the case over such a period of time. Very disappointing!!

Best sandwich in Berlin, very beautiful and particular location compared to many places around that all look the same! Prices for two really low menus being in the center of Berlin.

One of my best burgers there so far. Cheese fries aren't bad either. The cheese sauce was cold a few times but otherwise great. The disadvantage in cold temperatures is that you can only eat outside.

The place is overrated and really expensive compared to, for example, the wonderful Berlin kebabs, which are plentiful in the area. The food itself was average, just an ordinary, unremarkable burger. Modest portions. The place and surroundings are, of course, very atmospheric, but the food is not up to the mark in terms of taste or quality.

An iconic experience in Berlin. Between the streets and the train and then a converted old toilet block. Simply iconic. Burgers are made fresh. Fries in a rustic style.

A find on the streets of Berlin. If you only see the ambiance, you'll miss out on a great opportunity to get to know this place. Located at a sort of checkpoint, under a subway line, they serve an incredible burger and a portion of cold fries.

By far, by far, the best Burgermeister shop and definitely the best burger in the city. The salt tends to slip out at one or two branches, but not here. It's really perfect here and the ambience is real.

The place is none more beautiful. It smells like urine there. It's always full.

The staff seemed stressed, and the service felt rushed, as if they were under extreme pressure. After speaking with an employee, I learned they are often required to work extra hours without proper compensation, and their bonuses depend on customer reviews, which seems unfair. It was unsettling to see such a lack of care for the workers. I believe businesses should treat their employees with respect and fairness.

Well, they make good burgers. What more can you say. This is the original location. They have since expanded all over Berlin. This location is in an old pissoir under the U-bahn tracks squished between two busy roads, which adds to its appeal and is reason enough for a visit.

This is one of the most delicious places in Berlin. This burger makes me willing to come back here again and again. Be prepared that after the first burger you will order a second one. This restaurant was built on the site of a former public toilet.

As a first-time tourist in Berlin, I had this spot on my "must-visit" list, and while navigating to a subway station, I stumbled across it. The aroma tempted me to indulge in a second dinner. My first dinner at a steakhouse had been quite substantial, but I figured, why not enhance my evening with another delightful experience? The burger exceeded all expectations. The bun was incredibly moist and soft inside, offering a satisfying crunch from its beautifully browned exterior. Every bite was a harmonious fusion of freshness and a perfectly seared patty. I can't wait to enjoy this amazing burger again when I return to Berlin in a few months!

We live relatively close and occasionally pick up burgers on the way home. They used to be great, but the last three times we've been disappointed, they're not as fresh as they used to be. Today one of the two burgers was completely cold, even though there wasn't much going on. What's still great: The Double Chocolate Peanut Chip Cookie

The best burger in town in a quirky location. Unfortunately very crowded with tourists but the queue is worth it. My favorite: The master of all classes, bacon & onion fries and a beer. It doesn't get any better.

Simply a fantastic place to eat a high-quality, delicious burger anywhere in Berlin - Burger Meister is a chain with locations all over Berlin. For not much (5-7 euros) you will get a large burger of great quality - I highly recommend the Hausmeister with pickles, Cheddar and aromatic mushrooms for less than 6 euros! In Berlin, I ate slightly bigger, better burgers, but for at least 10 euros. Also, Waldmeister Veggie is the best veggie burger I've ever seen.

A good burger in a purely Berlin atmosphere

The burgers were okay. Not as good as all the hype surrounding it. We can now confirm Five Guys is still the best. Service was meh. Not friendly but they get the job done. No locals here, only tourists come here. And the tourists won't share the limited tables with you either...so antisocial and selfish. If you are wondering if you should make the effort to stop by, I would skip this.
