We went there in a Saturday afternoon, there was a small queue but the time we waited wasn't so long. We had a burger and fries. Really tasty fast food.

One of the best sandwiches eaten in Berlin. Try the experience of eating under a bridge, outdoors, a stone's throw from the metro station, a truly characteristic urban style. The sandwich is an institution, you can add the ingredients of your choice, equally good chips. We went for lunch and it was a bit crowded. We will definitely be back anyway. Advised.

If you are going to see the Berlin Wall you should try the burgers they make at this kiosk, very close to the Schlesiches metro stop on line U3 or U2. Cozy place and very good atmosphere in a peripheral area of ​​Berlin. The staff is very friendly and the burgers and fries are delicious. It is certainly worth trying them.

Just the best veggie burger I’ve ever had!

Taking advantage of the trip to Berlin, we went to try the hamburgers at this street food stand and the reviews were very good. We have ordered 2 cheeseburgers. Although they look small, they are quite powerful. We haven't ordered potatoes but we have seen them and they were also a good portion. The potatoes cost €3.30 and with cheese €3.90. We have to say that they were very delicious, honestly, so I agree with the good reviews on this site. Highly recommended. Of course we had to eat them in a park because the place has 4 tables and they were all occupied but they still tasted very good.

Unfortunately there was an unusually long waiting time, even though the order was pre-ordered online. But it is really tasty and also a strong offer in terms of price. There's hardly any ambience next to the main street, but you can take something with you.

Judging by the rating, most people never ate a really good burger. I tried three types in this place, and none was that good. Meat is overcooked and definitely not juicy, no signature sauce or taste. Just basic burgers in a overhyped place. It's always very busy, so you can't even eat at a table. Overall, don't go.

We discovered this burger joint through Atlas Obscura, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! From the first bite, it was clear that these burgers are something special—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The fries were just as impressive, perfectly crispy and seasoned to enhance the overall meal. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. To top it all off, the location is awesome! Having burgers under the metro rail is quite an experience! Highly recommended for anyone who loves a great burger at a fair price in a cool spot!

This snack bar is located in a former public urinal from the imperial era in which millions of people relieved themselves for over 100 years. Processing and selling food there is just disgusting. Just the thought makes me sick.

We went to where the story begins, the green shop just below the metro stop. This shop served as a public toilet for the German people for a long time. Burgermeister, which started its operations in 2006, later opened dozens of branches. But I went to the original place and ordered the only tomato-free burger on the menu: fleischermeister. This burger, which includes two meatballs, two cheeses, fried onions, mustard and ketchup, cost only 8.5€. I saw that the potatoes looked good and I gave them 3.3€. The fries reminded me of Five Guys. But because the circulation was high, everything was hotter and more delicious. You are unlikely to eat overripe potatoes. The bread was soft and did not tire me while eating it. As for the meatballs, they were almost crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They were able to achieve this form because it was not too thick. There are many queues, the seating is bistro style. Outnumbered and uncomfortable. But I liked the burger. I haven't tried burgers in other places in Berlin, but I think this taste is very good for this price. I recommend it to those who lose their way..

For me these are the best citizens of all time from taste to appearance. The price is completely justified and the taste is magical. The only minus is the parking space. You can eat at the table, but it is often too full to sit at the table. Unfortunately, there is still a lack of capacity for 100% of the best citizens in Berlin

As far as I know, this is the original establishment, the rest are franchises. So, everything is cheaper here than buying in other places. About 2€. I also like the quality, better than others. Potatoes are tasty only for the first 10 minutes, but then they fizzle out and you no longer want to eat them. We always take it with us and go to the river benches to eat. Always great. It's just dirty (the area is like that). The staff is really exhausted (we were there after 4 pm), it’s probably better for them to work here in 3 shifts so as not to burn out.

If you go to Berlin this is your place to eat hearty and cheap. The staff was friendly and the burger was delicious.

It was bland, dry and the bun was nothing to phone home about. The food stall (a refurbished public toilet) has some novelty charm. But that’s about it. Service was efficient and friendly.

Some incredible burgers 100% recommended if you come for tourism. The service is fast, in less than ten minutes you have your food. The only bad thing is that there are few tables and they are for standing, but the place is not very big either. I would definitely go again.

We spontaneously went to Burgermeister again with 4 people on Saturday evening at 10 p.m. and it was excellent every time. This time there were 4 burgers (2× master burger, 1x master butcher and 1x chilli cheese burger) and 4x bacon & onion fries. To make sure everything goes well, a few more beers and a Coke for the driver. We were all more than satisfied. Despite the high volume of guests, our order was ready in just a few minutes. The burgers were big, hot, juicy and super tasty. The fries were crispy and delicious and came with lots of bacon and onions. The ambience is of course unique, under the S-Bahn between two busy streets on a narrow median strip and in the middle of the Kreuzberg neighborhood. There is always something going on and always something to see. The price was perfectly fine at around €50, to be honest I was expecting more, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was great as always, but we were happy to travel 25 km to get there.

Delicious burgers. One of the most delicious I've ever eaten. Very cheap for Berlin (one meat €6 approx and two meats €8 approx). The place is great, they are old bathrooms. The order came out very quickly and the staff was great. Very good atmosphere.

Super iconic location, but above all really good burgers and outstanding fries!! Everyone is very nice and keeps the corner very clean. It is advisable not to go at peak times. The only thing I was missing was carbonated water, but I can live with that.

Also really cool and slightly random spot itself, which is why I liked the experience of even more but again, it’s the best place to try it.

Being able to eat a homemade hamburger in Berlin for €6.20 is not common. And the ones from Burgermeister are also very good. We had to wait about 20 minutes for the burger and we used the mobile ordering and payment system, for which they charge you a small service fee. It is a very convenient system to place your order and take the opportunity to take a tour of the area without having to wait in line. Highly recommended experience!

Returned recently for the first time in years and it was just as good as I remembered. A real cultural icon in the area and one which serves excellent food at a reasonable price. Given how well known and popular it is the quality hasn't dropped and they've only gotten better at dealing with serving a high volume of customers. Really recommend if you're in Berlin.

Burger so good we had to get another burger.. We got the Fleischmeister and every part of it was very well balanced and so perfectly flavorful that we cannot get a burger anywhere else.. We then got the cheeseburger and though in ingredients its simple, there’s magic in this burger especially if shared with loved ones ^_____^ ! One of the coolest places I've ever seen. Really excellent food and very modest prices considering the trend nowadays and the big city. Best sandwich eaten in Berlin, and then the atmosphere that this location has is unique especially in the evening.

Unfortunately only a very thin, fried patty, it used to be better somehow, cheese fries were fine. The hype from the travel guides is probably now greater than the quality. A good burger is something different for me. You might find eating directly under the subway next to moving cars cool, but you can't call it ambience.
