The burger is great, but the staff is seriously overwhelmed. And I don't mean that in a bad way. The staff doesn't have a system for handling large numbers of orders.

The burgers are so delicious. It's definitely worth the trip!

10 out of 5 stars ⭐️ We've driven past this snack bar several times and always found the outdoor seating area so appealing, so we stopped one day and ordered two burgers (BBQ and Vegetarian - Beyond Meat). And what can we say, it was phenomenal! The burgers were juicy and delicious, the food was prepared quickly, and the terrace was a really nice place to sit. Plus, the owner was super friendly and helpful. This snack bar is a must-try – definitely recommend it – WE'LL BE AGAIN!

The burgers and fries taste delicious and fresh. If you're really hungry, the portion might be a bit small. Otherwise, everything was great.

Ordered at 4:45 PM and then called at 6:10 PM to ask where the food was. They said it was almost ready and the person at the burger place was alone. Afterward, we had to wait another hour. The burgers actually taste great! But the delivery service is a complete disaster. My recommendation: don't order, but drive there if you can.

Bratwurst cut and finished in the fat tub swimming in the fat

It's closed even though the internet said it was open and we drove the extra 30 minutes to try it out, which was extremely disappointing.

Since the new owner, the service and the taste have improved. It's definitely worth a visit again. The food is simply indescribable. The meat for the parties is ground in-house using a meat grinder and has an excellent flavor. The salad and the other ingredients are fresh and very tasty. The fries are a good size, the portions are plentiful, and they taste very good.

The snack bar is right next to a gas station and a bus stop. Apparently, many of the customers are students, and they offer a special menu for students. The selection ranges from burgers to various sausages, chicken nuggets, and even Beyond Burgers. I had an Otter Burger. The patty is made from fresh ground beef, which makes the burger very juicy. The fries were perfectly fried. A definite recommendation for a quick snack!

The first time we ordered there, about a year ago, we weren't that impressed... so today we decided to try it again. We were pleasantly surprised! We had the "bella italia" and the "bacon heaven" (or something like that 😂)... the burgers were really delicious and very fresh, especially in terms of ingredients. I'm really skeptical about burgers, and the sweet little Asian employee was very nice and did a great job. Thank you so much, we'll be back 😊👌💙✌️

Burgermeister Ottersberg. Whether classic vegan or extra spicy, you'll find the perfect burger for every taste. Enjoy crispy fries and homemade sauces. We had a crispy chicken burger with fries and a bacon heaven burger with sweet potato fries. It was delicious, once again.

The wait time was unacceptable and communication was poor! After 45 minutes, we asked how long it would be. We were told to wait another 45 minutes. Such a long wait time hadn't been communicated beforehand. The owners and staff seemed overwhelmed. It seemed as if online orders were given priority. Preparing multiple orders at once also seemed impossible (the grill was empty at times). Frustrated, we canceled our order. The food itself didn't look bad. But it wasn't like this!

It used to be a great place to come and eat here, but recently the quality has declined dramatically. The food is becoming increasingly inedible. The atmosphere is nowhere near as nice as it was a few weeks ago. There's trash everywhere, etc., and the service has been better. For the reasons stated above, I won't be eating here again, which is a shame.

We ate there on a Saturday evening and on the way home my friend kept throwing up. At home it was like a stomach bug for her. The next day I had the same thing. But the meat also tasted rotten. All hints of food poisoning.

At first I thought, ok, snack bar and also waiting time. It was just around midday and there was a lot going on. Then our food came. Cheeseburgers and Ottersbergers. What can I say - it was mega. Definitely super tasty burgers with really great sweet potato fries. Absolutely recommended. You won't be disappointed.

Great food, nice people, and you can sit down if you want. What more could you want in a small village than to be able to treat yourself to burgers on your doorstep that are also really affordable. This is luxury to be treasured!

Had classic currywurst fries...the sausage itself was so-so, no curry sauce, just very fruity ketchup and curry powder...a taste disaster. Fries OK, mayo not tasty either. The only positive thing was the very nice and friendly young lady behind the counter. Unfortunately that's not enough, which is a shame.

Handmade! You rarely get it these days. I travel all over Germany as a fitter and have rarely had such good food. Homemade minced meat and sauces. Everything freshly prepared and served hot🤩 Otherwise I was warmly welcomed and entertained. Thank you very much and see you next time 👋

Dining on site...ok, sitting outside on the boxes is really cool and is ok too. However, there is one toilet that is an absolute disaster. Even after pointing out that it was really, really dirty there, no one came to check or even clean it. The burgers are ok, but the crispy chicken was very crispy and the breading was very sweet?! Not our thing, the buns aren't that great when everything falls apart. All in all... Once and definitely not again. Too bad

It's been a long time since we ordered from Burgermeister today, and the long journey was definitely worth it! A little tip for anyone who doesn't like medium-grilled burgers, let us know in advance.

After shopping at Dodenhof, my mother and I happened to go out to eat there. The reception was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was very nice for a small burger joint. We had currywurst with fries and I loved both the sausage and the fries. The meal was rounded off by the incredibly warm owners, who are so enthusiastic about their own products that we were allowed to try the homemade breaded chicken. The meat was juicy and the aioli made in-house is also worth the extra journey. I can definitely recommend the Burgermeister.

We pre-ordered online. When we arrived to pick it up, everything was already ready, TOP👍. The burgers, sweet potato fries and chilli cheese fries were super tasty. We'll definitely be back. Be careful...the jalapenos were very spicy😅

Delicious and fresh burgers 🍔 the taste is incredible

We ate there again after the restructuring. And it has changed for the better. Before, the burgers were really very good. But today we had by far the best burger. The buns are great. Baked especially for the store, so not run of the mill. For the Crispy Chicken Burger, fresh poultry meat is chopped up and rolled in an incredibly hot breading. Afterwards you have a crispy and juicy burger. The sauces are all homemade and extremely delicious. We also had the chili cheeseburger, which also had a very juicy and perfectly cooked patty. We ate standing up on site. Of course you can criticize that. But you can also simply talk to the boss and then you will notice how much passion and dedication he has behind his food and how he prepares it fresh and individually every time. Really highly recommended.

We discovered the Burgermeister in Ottersberg by chance while passing through - and it was the best decision ever! The burgers were simply incredibly good – fresh, juicy and perfectly prepared. We would particularly like to recommend the Basic Three Burger, which impressed with its simplicity and the quality of the ingredients - less is definitely more here! And the Bacon Heaven Burger was an absolute highlight: the crispy bacon in combination with the juicy patty and the perfectly balanced sauces was a real pleasure. The sweet potato fries were also a dream - wonderfully crispy on the outside, wonderfully soft on the inside and, in combination with the homemade dips, a real taste experience. The atmosphere on site was also great: modern, cozy and inviting. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel at home straight away. You can feel that the work here is done with a lot of passion and attention to detail. It was definitely one of the best burger experiences we've ever had! A real insider tip for burger lovers. I went to the new opening at Burgermeister in Ottersberg today and I was absolutely thrilled! The burgers are simply incredible - juicy meat, fresh ingredients and the homemade sauces are to die for. The atmosphere in the store is super cozy, and the service was quick, friendly and attentive. You can tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on quality here. I'll definitely be back - 5 stars for this great burger joint!

Order was good, but the burger was totally soggy and more than half of the fries were dripping with grease and hard. Unfortunately not recommended. Inside there was a strong smell of used grease.

Ate the burgers on site. Also had a beef bratwurst and sweet potato fries. Everything was fresh and quickly prepared and really tasty. But I would particularly like to highlight the sweet potato fries, they were incredibly delicious! Highly recommended!

Tip: Anyone who orders and pays on site MUST carry cash with them. The company accepts cashless payment only for online orders...

Top shop, The burgers were damn good and you have a new delicious taste in your mouth with every bite. The fries were perfect (as a tip, a homemade sauce would also work). The employee was personable and courteous, service was great. The peach iced tea is also recommended. I'd love to come back.

Burgers are delicious, no question about it. But the churros cost €5.50 with a very small portion. Some were burned. Unfortunately, the burger was far too small for the price.

Tried it out for the first time yesterday and loved it. 2 crispy chicken and 1 churros. Simply delicious, that's exactly what was missing here.

Unfortunately not recommended!!! We ordered via Lieferando with a waiting time of 50 minutes. It's like that everywhere, everything is good. After nothing came, I checked the app and found that the waiting time had increased without any notification. After we waited for 2 hours, I called and asked. The employee would have put us off for another 30-45 minutes. I explained to him that I would now get in the car and be at the store in 5-10 to pick up the order myself. When I arrived he explained to me that there was a lot going on, but I didn't see a single burger on the grill. This seems to be a clear case of being overwhelmed, because I told him that I would be there shortly. The €7.50 delivery costs were of course returned. Unfortunately not recommended!!!

Since my grandma lives in Ottersberg, I recently ordered a burger there. They tasted like they were in a restaurant. Thank you very much that such a great offer now exists in Ottersberg.

I ordered from Burgermeister today and was really impressed! The burger was super tasty – juicy, well seasoned and with fresh ingredients. Every bite was a delight. What totally surprised me was how fast the delivery was. As soon as we ordered, the food was already there and still warm and fresh, as if it came straight from the kitchen. The delivery staff was also super friendly and quick. I will definitely order from you again and can only recommend Burgermeister to everyone! Keep it up!

Delicious burgers, with good ingredients. Reasonably priced, seating okay. Had lunch here and would love to come back when we are in the area. Cutlery would be nice, but unfortunately it isn't available. That was the only drawback.

I think it's a real shame what has become of regional food. Unfortunately, the boss and staff have now been told more than once and unfortunately I've been disappointed for the third time in a row. Yes, there are problems sometimes, that's no question, people like to be accommodating sometimes, but unfortunately we've had enough for now... When I think about what we got at the beginning, where the store opened and what has become of it now, it's just sad... I don't want to have to put up with the service and food like that anymore!!! Unfortunately, at over €30.00 for two people it's too expensive for what you get...

Absolutely disgusting what has become of Burgermeister. The best burger turned into a disgusting taste experience that is equally addictive. So it's better to get the burger for the microwave at Aldi, you'll get more of it there. Just aluminum foil and a plastic bag.

No availability via online ordering or telephone. Unfortunately I went there. Instead of brioche there were the cheap burger buns with sesame. The delicious patties that used to be so large are now only thin and not 150g as advertised. Packaging in aluminum foil. A pity.

Unfortunately no longer recommended! The burger was carelessly wrapped in aluminum foil and the fries were temporarily covered with aluminum foil. To top it off, there were no more bags left and I was able to balance myself with the food to the car. 8 minutes drive home and everything was muddy. My burger had the wrong bun and was flooded with sauce. It was edible but for the price I expected more!

Original review: Burgers are very tasty when you get them... I've been trying to call for several days. Always AB with the announcement that there was a lot to do... So I drove there specifically and wanted to order on site. Unfortunately, only fries were possible as there was no meat available....and there wasn't a lot of customers to be seen...If you ever ordered, you could sole the kids behind the counter as they walked.... friendly but rather friendly unsuitable for a top shop with great potential.... EDIT: I was there today for a report card dinner with hungry kids because the burgers are really good... we were told that it will take at least 30 minutes because a larger order is being made for pickup and there are no fries at the moment... I actually always thought that local customers were served first... HAVE GONE SOMEWHERE

Updated version January 9, 2024: The operator is now taking action against the reviews with a lawyer. I find it amusing to see that critical reviews should be removed like this. My question now is how I can prove a business relationship if I have always paid in cash. Oh, that's right, pictures. Of course I would like to add this now. My 3 stars were as follows before the lawyer: The quality of the food was mixed, the stated times were never adhered to and the fries were usually cold upon delivery. Should I prove that too? No? I couldn't either.

Unfortunately closed during opening hours. Seems like it's a game of chance whether the store is open or not.

After two other stores closed due to New Year's fatigue, we ended up here. The person behind the counter was friendly, personable and hopefully had clean fingers. Next time gloves wouldn't be bad. 😉 The burgers (bacon burger & otter burger) and fries were great and were still warm even after the 15 minute drive home. Card payment didn't work today... We hope it works otherwise.

Burger war sehr lecker. Sitzgelegenheiten draußen sind zum essen relativ niedrig und nur ein Tisch. Kleine Bierbänke wären angenehmer.

Super leckerer Burger! Da sind die Streetfood Trucks aus Hamburg auch nicht besser. Ambiente ist zwar rustikal, aber macht es auch zu einem gelungen Besuch. Ich bin froh, dass wir den Abstecher von der Autobahn gemacht haben.

Netter kleiner Bürger Imbiss. Leider mit wenig Sitz Gelegenheiten. Service war nett und das Essen echt lecker. So wie man sich einen Imbiss vorstellt.

Kleine Bürgerschmiede, man kann nicht vor Ort essen, höchstens im Auto. Speisen werden direkt frisch zubereitet und schmecken.

Burger glatte 1 und darum geht es ja. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Ich komme sicher wieder!

Die burger sind sehr lecker. Auch preislich angenehm. Was nicht so angebehm ist, sind die Sitzplätze sie sind etwas unbequem und auch viel zu wenig. Was ich vorschlagen würde bei soviel andrang wäre eine geschäftsvergrösserung mit sitzplätzen. Ansonsten 5 Sterne

Essen war sehr lecker, es gibt auch gute Vegetarische und Vegane Alternativen, bei denen ich persönlich nicht angemerkt habe dass sie fleischlos sind, sehr gut gemacht!
