Restaurant Lemonia in Ottersberg

The fact that the "restaurateur" called us liars is another negative point for this establishment. Having to wait a bit is normal for me. But being completely ignored is outrageous. The correct response from the staff would have been: "I'll be right with you." If it still takes a little longer, the correct response would have been: "Excuse me, why don't you take a seat at the bar, order your drinks, and have a look at the menu?" The fact that the "restaurateur" responds to criticism with an AI-generated answer is beyond sad. Clearly, he's not interested in gaining new regulars. ☹

I'm not usually one for reviews and only do so when something is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. It was our first time at Lemonia, and we didn't even get to eat. When we asked if there was a table available for two, a young woman with dark hair and glasses (note: at that point, she was completely focused on her booking monitor) said she'd look into it. Instead, she clearly had a lot of other things to do, such as chatting animatedly with (apparently) familiar guests at another table. After we pointed out a few minutes later that we were still waiting, she went back to other tasks. That was enough of a first impression for us at Lemonia, and we left. In our opinion, the service was terrible. If they don't want to help, they've already got it. Dear Lemonia Team: There are no second chances for a first impression (in this case), because we were annoyed about it all evening. We won't be returning! So, one star is still too much 🤷‍♂️! The Italian restaurant diagonally across the street finally understood what good service means 👍😊. That it can be done differently is demonstrated by my visit to a café in Aachen last week 🚀. The service was so good that I left a €5 tip on an €8 order!

We enjoyed the Greek buffet today and were thrilled. The service was top-notch – friendly, quick, and always with a witty remark. Just the way we like it. The buffet was plentiful and absolutely delicious. The only slight drawback was the noise level, which was occasionally a bit high, but that was understandable given the occasion and the fact that the restaurant was fully booked. It was our first visit, but definitely not our last. We'll gladly come back. Important: ALWAYS MAKE A RESERVATION!!

I went there last Sunday with three friends and we treated ourselves to the buffet for €25 per person. The selection of salads, main courses, and desserts was really good and tasted absolutely delicious. Plus, they were constantly replenishing the food. The buffet also has tiered pricing so parents don't have to pay €25 for their children, but only €6 or a little more depending on their age. And the service was very friendly and cheerful the whole time, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Rarely have I eaten so well at a Greek restaurant; 5 out of 10 stars if it were possible.

Friendly service, the food looked very good! Unfortunately, the food (bifteki) wasn't quite as tasty as it looked and was very greasy. The staff handed out ouzo to a few people, and some even asked for it, but not us.

We went to the Sunday buffet, which had a fantastic selection of starters, main courses, and even a huge dessert. We would come back again and again.

I went there once for the buffet and once for an a la carte meal. Both times it was absolutely delicious. The buffet has a fantastic selection, and the terrace is very cozy for warm summer evenings. I'll definitely be back!

There were four of us girls and we had a great seat. We were there on a Wednesday, and there was a buffet. It was well-stocked and very tasty. There was something for everyone.

We'd heard a lot of good things about "Lemonia"! Today, five of us were here, and we went big... We had gyros baked with Metaxa sauce + extra liver + fries – it tasted truly premium, the liver was amazing, cooked to perfection! The baked part was also a dream and tasted perfect! The service was very friendly, and the food came quickly, even though the restaurant was quite busy... We'll be back for more...!

We happened to be there on a Wednesday. Luckily, there was a fantastic buffet with Greek dishes. Varied, fresh, authentic Greek cuisine. €20 per person. Service was attentive and very friendly. We'd be happy to come back.

We ate with friends at Lemonia in the evening and were very satisfied. We all really enjoyed the food. Particularly worth mentioning are the enormously large portions and the variety, including for vegetarians. It was easy to pack the leftovers into good transport containers later. The service was extremely friendly and efficient. Because of the large crowd, it took a little longer to place the order - but the preparation was quick again. We also liked the ambience. Bright and not too cramped in terms of space. There are also some room dividers. Due to the size of the room and the full cast, the background noise was clearly audible but not disturbing. The Lemonia is highly recommended and we plan to come back and take a look at the summer garden.

Yes, it's a bit overcrowded now, unfortunately the service has deteriorated a bit. The food is delicious, but people are now saving on quality when it comes to shopping, unfortunately. But the prices have still risen. Addendum: It was probably just a feeling, or it was probably a day that was out of line. We couldn't imagine that the restaurant was one of our favorites and everything was always great. A thumbs up from us, a Greek of a different, better kind. We'll be happy to come back. All in all very friendly, and if you write expensively you can't do the math because everything is included in everything. We felt very well looked after with you and it was definitely not the last time. And so far I have to say the biffet is also worth it if we take a trip from Schwarme to Ottersberg. Thank you for the very good hack with feta. And the very good gyros and mince and the best tzatziki are simply top for Ottersberg

We had the best time LEMONIA. Buffet all you can eat at a very reasonable prize (around 20€) with all kinds of delicious dishes made the same day. We had roasted duck in Christmas and enjoyed her son's piano performance. Would totally recommend. Nice desserts, would add maybe some gluttenfree alternatives to support a more healthy eating guideline. You will love Lemonia.

This year we were there for the Christmas buffet and it was again really tasty and varied

Went there for the first time, were greeted very friendly and shown to the table... shortly afterwards the drinks were taken... a little later the food. Had a starter platter... then the main course... everything was very tasty and plentiful... it was a very nice evening... Many thanks to the attentive service and we will come back..

When the restaurant is full, the service staff lose track..... 4 to 5 service staff for one table... of course errors are inevitable. From ordering to billing. It's human nature to make mistakes, but gastronomy can be done much better. It doesn't help if you offer ouzo without asking as an apology, you could at least ask the guest what he could do because maybe the guest isn't allowed to drink alcohol at all... If false receipts appear during billing, you are at least warned. To the restaurateur, There is still a lot of room for improvement.

Never again! The food was OK, but nothing more. The service was not unfriendly, but completely overwhelmed and disorganized. All processes took far too long. I spoke to someone twice to pay and then went to the counter after twenty minutes. And the volume was unbearable; a comfortable conversation at the table was impossible. Even the person sitting next to me at the table couldn't be understood. For me this was the last visit. Not recommended.

We were already guests when the restaurant was still in Bremen. Even if we have to drive a little further now, it's still worth it. For us it's still the best Greek restaurant in Bremen and the surrounding area. Lemi has a great knack for the ambience. Apart from that, the food is absolutely top. There are also many great dishes for someone who doesn't like meat. The oven vegetables alone are really great. The buffet is also unbeatable. If we want to eat Greek we go to Lemonia. The journey is definitely worth it...

We visited this Greek restaurant spontaneously and for the first time because of the good reviews (we didn't even know Ottersberg before) and can say with full conviction: it was great. And delicious. Ok, unfortunately not cheap either, but there was a reasonable spritzer (NOT watered down!), large portions and simply very tasty food. The store was buzzing in the middle of the week, always a good sign. Very nice atmosphere for a Greek, something we don't know in our big city. Full recommendation!

Food first class, rarely eaten better, highly recommended...service...well...ordered some bread for the starter plate, which came to the table about 15 minutes later, when the main meal was there after 50 minutes, so We didn't need the bread anymore...but we were kindly charged 3 euros. The draft beer comes to the table about 1 cm below the calibration mark and also leaves the counter for other guests... 2 beers in bottles of 0.3 were incorrectly billed (a 0.3 and a 0.4) and everything All in all, it took a very long time there. I don't want to complain...it was very full and the food was world class...if you don't mind the wait and the poorly tapped beer etc., I would recommend Lemonia! I'm still thinking about whether I want to do it again...

At Lemonia we have often used catering within the family circle: the offer was individually tailored, the quality, quantity and taste of the food was always top and at fair prices. The ambience of the new restaurant in Ottersberg is also very successful :)

We celebrated our wedding at Lemonia at the beginning of September. Our guests and we were completely thrilled. Table decoration, buffet food, restaurant staff and everything else were great and well organized. We can fully recommend Lemonia and it wasn't the last time we were there 😉

The food was good but I missed suvlaki and bifteki. Instead there were many dishes with minced meat which were also delicious.

We stayed here with our 3 children after a day trip and were very impressed. We love Greek cuisine, but haven't eaten Greek food in our hometown because there are hardly any or no vegetarian and vegan dishes there. This is important for us due to allergies and there was so much choice here, we were very happy. It was great to sit on the terrace and the staff were very friendly, especially to our children and just perfect. If we're in the area again we'll definitely come back!

Positive: Nice atmosphere...friendly staff...prices are okay for a buffet. Negative: No meat dishes, such as souvlaki or chicken. Only gyros and minced variations, what a shame. For me, souvlaki is simply part of a buffet.

This time we were at a music event. After another delicious meal, a miracle violinist played an amazing performance on the violin for us. A wonderful evening for us and many others.

The food was good, value for money was also good. It is rather noisy when the restaurant is full. What wasn't so nice was that we were served by 4 different service employees. Comfortable is different.

I was there today with my family, very friendly, attentive service even with children and a very nice child-friendly play area, which is rare in restaurants. The buffet a 10 out of 10, everything I tried was super tasty. I then rolled to my car. Definitely coming back!
