Burgerheart Regensburg in Regensburg

Average in every aspect I've eaten at Burgerheart several times. It used to be a really great restaurant, but unfortunately, with each visit, I've noticed a steady decline in the experience. First, the menu was constantly being reduced (my favorite burger, the Surf & Turf Burger, hasn't been available for ages). Then, the quality steadily declined. Now, all that's left of this once-flagship burger joint is average, the kind you'd find at Hans im Glück, Hamburgerei, or other chains. Last but not least, I find the price list for extras quite steep: €2.20 for a little extra bacon. That costs about €0.30 wholesale. The standard calculation is wholesale price x 3, so €0.90. That would be fair.

I've never been a fan of Burgerheart, but today's visit was particularly disappointing. The meat was extremely dry and overcooked. The bun was also dry and crumbly. Worst of all, fries aren't even included. Yet the prices are still just as high as at other, better burger joints where fries are included.

We've been coming here with the whole family for many years. It's practically our "favorite burger joint" 😊 Great burgers, great ingredients, great service. That's why it gets the full ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The burgers are juicy and freshly prepared, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is modern and cozy. A definite recommendation for all burger lovers!

Let me say this right off the bat: the service and bar are great. The food is definitely not bad, but quite expensive, especially considering the portion sizes.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience here. Visually, the place looks great – perfect for Instagram and beautiful photos. Sadly, that's almost where the positives end. The food was completely unappealing, and the service seemed disorganized and inattentive. In my opinion, the value for money is very poor, as you expect significantly more quality for the prices charged. The loaded fries were particularly disappointing: half-frozen fries, carelessly smothered with cheese that clearly came from the microwave. Overall, it's more about appearance than substance. Okay for a photo, but definitely not recommended for eating in.

We've been to Burgerheart quite a few times now. The various burgers, the fries (also available as a main course), and the salad are really delicious. Fresh ingredients and great taste have kept us coming back. Our daughter was also happy with her chicken nuggets and fries as a child's portion. The homemade iced teas are also highly recommended. Burgerheart is wheelchair accessible.

I had the salad with goat cheese, and I thought it was fantastic. My heartfelt recommendation, though, is the New York cheesecake – I've never had such a delicious one (and I've tried a lot) – I'm already looking forward to next time! :)

I went there for the first time today and I definitely can't complain. The selection is extensive and the prices are fair. The many different burgers with all sorts of sauces, etc., should suit every taste. You can also enjoy some rather "exotic" combinations there that you might not normally associate with other foods. My burger tasted really good. Nice and juicy and perfectly seasoned. A big thumbs up for the burger sauce, too, even if there was perhaps a little bit of it. If I had to criticize anything, it would be the time between being seated and receiving my drink. That could be a bit faster. Overall, a definite recommendation!

I'm very disappointed with my visit. I ordered a vegan burger but was served meat instead. When we inquired, we were initially assured it was the vegan patty. Only after we insisted again did they check with the kitchen. It turned out that we had indeed been served meat. Such a mistake simply shouldn't happen. We did receive an apology, but despite the error, we still had to pay the full price. Very disappointing!
