We wanted to try this Indian with the gourmet book. The location itself is quite nice, you can definitely hold smaller celebrations there. Unfortunately our food was very watery...the korma and the rice didn't taste like anything. You were always being watched, but it wasn't that bad. We reserved a table without disclosing that we had a gourmet book (2 dishes for the price of 1). In the store they said it wasn't possible and we had to pay the full amount, but we'd be happy to pay next time. That was a disgrace, especially since we only went there because of the gourmet book. We wouldn't go again... Response from owner; ‘If you can’t afford to eat at a restaurant, don’t write stupid things like that.’ I'm at a loss for words... impudence!

Rude owners and the food is watery. It's best to walk past the store. 3 pieces of meat for 20€.. ridiculous

Food size is a big laugh off. Service is rude and doesn’t let you eat in peace. Really overpriced for what you get.

Through the Schlemmerblock we came up with the idea of ​​going out for Indian food. Ok, we had to look for something, but the search was worth it. We reserved the table online the day before and everything went smoothly. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly and accommodating. The starter platter for 4 was also enough for 6. The main courses were all very tasty too. So we'd love to come back. Keep it up👍

We have ordered several times now and the food is really tasty. This is what I know from my old favorite Indian restaurant, which unfortunately no longer exists. Highly Recommended

Just not recommended. Had a meal from home service. Pork Vindalo, only potatoes. Complaints will not be entertained. Original email I received from the restaurant. Eat good . . .We were there relatively early, we were the only guests. . .Food was good. Found the restaurant through a voucher book. . We'll come again. . .

If a lot of stars are given, you get a thank you; if the criticism is bad, there is no response from the owner. Some guests commented that the taste and portion were not right. If you don't comment on low stars, it's most likely uninteresting and unnecessary. For me that's a reason not to go in the first place.

The decor was a bit tacky, but that didn't detract from the absolutely fantastic food. It took a while between courses but it was absolutely worth the wait. And the portion was just right in terms of quantity. The taste was fantastic - you could tell that the food was freshly cooked here. We will definitely come back here 😊

Surprisingly good, great service, very nice staff and the food was delicious. We were also pleasantly surprised by the ambience, typically Indian but not exaggerated. A few annoying details that don't fit... Such as: Prince couples who cannot be integrated into the ambience. The taste of the food was very tasty, but the chicken was a bit tough, which you don't really expect. But all in all... We'll be back.

Performance by the Christmarettes on December 22nd, 2023: GRANDIOS. Perfect show. Everything was perfect, starting with the stage design, through the very pretty protagonists, a real feast for the ears and eyes, the very likeable presenter, right up to the technicians. Bedienung weiß, wer was bestellt hat (heutzutage sehr selten). Hintergrundmusik nervt etwas. Ansonsten empfehlenswert.

Geschmacklich 7/10. Portionen sind eine Lachnummer. Man müsste 2x bestellen um satt zu werden. Und ich habe keine Proportionen wie Ricarda Lang! Preislich Ok

Das Maharaja ist ein ganz gemütliches Restaurant mit nettem Ambiente. Der Service war sehr nett und alles lief super. Das Essen war insgesamt lecker, die Vorspeisen, sowie auch Hauptgerichte. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist zudem die vielfältige Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten! Für jeden Schärfegrad ist auch etwas dabei. Wir sind gut satt geworden und werden wiederkommen! :)

Sehr gutes essen, nette Bedienung.. Das Restaurant befindet sich in einem "Bürgerhaus" wobei das Ambiente nach dem Indische Flair dekoriert wurde..Bieten auch Heimservice an..Toiletten und Gastraum ist sehr sauber..Genügend kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es auch..

Das Essen im Maharaja ist sehr lecker. Von mild gewürzt bis scharf ist für jeden etwas dabei. Auf der Karte ist auch eine große Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten. Das Team ist sehr aufmerksam und überaus freundlich. Wir können das Restaurant empfehlen.

Wir haben Essen bestellt und alles war sehr lecker. Die Gerichte waren toll gewürzt und die Portionen sind genau richtig. Nicht vergessen das Naan Brot (wenn gewünscht) dazu zu bestellen, das ist beim Hauptgericht nicht dabei.

Kleines aber feines Restaurant. Super viel Auswahl vom Essen. Nette Bedienungen. Es wird auf die Gäste eingegangen. Hat super geschmeckt. Mitnahme von Speisen auch möglich. Ob Rollstuhlgerecht konnte ich leider nicht in Erfahrung bringen. Dort anrufen wäre von Vorteil.

Wir bestellen fast jede Woche. Sehr zu empfehlen. Alle indischen Gerichte haben sehr gut geschmeckt.

Wir haben uns Mango Chicken, Chicken Korma und Butter Naan bestellt. Es war alles sehr lecker und das Mango Chicken war sehr kräftig vom Geschmack, was meinem Mann sehr gut gefallen hat. Wir werden auf jeden Fall nochmal dort bestellen bzw.mal dort Essen gehen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Eine tolle Auswahl an vegetarischem und auch veganem Essen.

Also wer indisches Essen zu schätzen weiß und den vielen frischen Gewürzen vorallem Koriander der ist hier genau richtig Geschmacklich sehr intensiv, blumisch, authentisch

Kann ich nur empfehlen, das Essen ist hervorragend die Auswahl groß und Atmosphäre sehr gut. Auch für größere Veranstaltungen zu empfehlen

Super nette Bedienung, recht authentisches Essen mit sehr guten Geschmack. Das Garlic Naan und die Vorspeisen sind super lecker. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

We came here after visiting the gondwanda prehistorium just by chance of finding something close and open on a Monday and were SO glad we did! I’m relatively new to Indian cuisine but love it and this was by far the best I’ve ever had. We were able to get pizza for the kids. Their chips and dips and naan and tikka masala was amazingly good and the service was great. Highly recommend and hope to go back if in the area again!
