Burgerbar in Mettlach

Today was our first time at the burger bar in Mettlach. We ordered a smashed potato burger and a salmon burger with a side salad. The food was excellent, as was the service. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. We will definitely eat here again.

5/5 stars – An absolute highlight in Mettlach! I was at the burger bar today and what can I say? Simply phenomenal! The burgers were cooked to perfection, juicy, and tasted amazing. They came with a mix of fries and sweet potato fries, which were perfectly crispy (and a delicious smoky BBQ dip). If you're in Saarland and craving a really good burger, this place is a must. Highly recommended!

Very quiet atmosphere, lovely staff, a very cute dog, delicious food, a restaurant for family and friends, good for celebrations or when you simply fancy a burger.

We went out for dinner with friends today, and one of them had a birthday. As you can see in the picture, they even made sure it was special, which we personally thought was a really lovely gesture! The food was absolutely fantastic, and we were all very full. The service and atmosphere were also excellent; there wasn't a single thing to complain about. Later, they put on some music so we could still have a conversation. The burger bar is beautifully decorated and clean! Really great, we'd love to come back again :)!

Very nice staff and a very friendly owner. After we asked for gluten-free buns beforehand, the owner bought them especially for us. The "regular" buns are homemade and really good in terms of texture and taste. The 200g patty was cooked to order – I had it medium. The combination of ingredients was also good. I could have done without the mango strips on the hamburger, but they weren't a problem either. The portion of steakhouse fries was generous. The ambiance is okay. It must be great in the summer when you can sit outside. The price/performance ratio is good. Thank you for the lovely evening!

This was our first time at the burger bar, and we were pleasantly surprised. We had reserved a table for 5:00 PM and even arrived about 15 minutes early – that wasn't a problem at all; we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The owner and staff were very welcoming and attentive, making us feel comfortable right away. We ordered hamburgers 🍔 and fries 🍟 and were thrilled: the burgers were delicious, freshly prepared, and tasted fantastic, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit with great food and excellent service. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this burger bar!

So, my personal opinion of the best burger I've eaten there is at The West Side. I've eaten burgers everywhere, but there the burgers and the sides, plus the overall design, are simply wonderful. Thank you so much for the friendly service and the great food!

We were here again today, New Year's Day, and it was fantastic as always. First, the food. The burgers, served on slate and topped with sauce, looked great and tasted even better. They were incredibly juicy. The individual components complemented each other perfectly, and the portion was just right and fresh. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. It was also easy to find. The prices are more than reasonable for what we received. We were recommended this place and will definitely recommend it to others. The 15 km drive is absolutely worth it. For me personally, it was the best burger in the area. I don't know of a better burger anywhere nearby.

The food was excellent. It's a shame that the cobwebs aren't removed from the dining area, and also on the spiral staircase to the restrooms; there are so many that they can't be missed. The restrooms were absolutely awful; there was no sign of hygiene whatsoever.

We stopped by last night on a whim and were thrilled. The burger and fries were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The dessert was amazing too. The staff was very friendly and the food was prepared very quickly. We paid €51 for two burgers with fries, a dessert, and drinks. You get excellent value for your money here. The fries are very crispy and delicious 😋. The burgers are quite large, not always easy for children to finish, but otherwise very tasty, so I'm satisfied.

We were at the Saar Loop with a large group at the end of November and then finished the day with a meal at a burger bar. Everything was great, the best part of the day.

Very nice atmosphere. The burgers we ordered were excellent and exactly as described on the menu, including the potato rings. Sensational!

All show and no substance. It looks delicious, but the taste was a huge disappointment. The smash burger meat was way too thick and tasted purely of grease. The crispy chicken tasted like old frying oil. The desserts weren't even worth mentioning. Absolutely generic and with very little choice. The "restaurant" was full of grill fumes, and our clothes stank afterward. The price-performance ratio was almost phenomenally bad. Once was enough. Never again.

There were three of us at this restaurant, and we had a truly wonderful evening. Each of us ordered a different dish, and every single one was delicious. The service was also exceptional; it was incredibly friendly and attentive. We felt completely comfortable and well taken care of. I highly recommend this restaurant! It's definitely worth a visit.

We arrived very spontaneously, having called ahead just before the kitchen closed, but this wasn't a problem at all. The ambiance and the friendly staff made the whole place feel very inviting and welcoming. The food was also excellent and served very quickly. I've often been told about this burger bar, and yesterday I finally made it there. We had the Hercules and the Cheesy Bacon, along with the chicken nuggets and curly fries. The nuggets were insane. I've never had them so juicy and crispy. The homemade barbecue sauce rounded it all off. The burgers were well-topped and juicy, and, as I said, they were made entirely from scratch. For the price, this is an incredible deal. The staff are also in a great mood; the boss is always ready with a joke, and the rest of the staff are also very friendly and accommodating. This burger bar is definitely worth recommending!

For me, it's a very, very good restaurant. I'm very satisfied with the food – top quality, amazing taste. The service is first-class, super friendly. They take care of you quickly and ask if everything is okay. That's how I think a good team should work. The food and drinks were excellent. I can't say anything bad about it. Extremely tasty and beautifully presented burgers. It doesn't get much better than this. Excellent sweet potato fries. Friendly, young staff. It's a shame they don't offer a decent beer. Something American-style, or simply something else, all from a giant corporation. The ambiance isn't really my thing, and it's quite noisy. Nevertheless, I would come back; the food is truly excellent.

1st visit: Best burgers in town! It couldn't be better, and the service was also superb. ...I don't know how many times...we've always been satisfied, but yesterday was a disappointment...there were nine of us there...when the food was brought, the waitress didn't know which burger she was holding, which naturally led to confusion at the table, and the burger wasn't actually served to the person it was meant for! Instead of apologizing, she just walked away and left it unmentioned! My Coke glass was completely dirty on the inside!!! Unfortunately, the bottom was completely dirty (I was really disgusted). Since we didn't want to embarrass anyone, my husband came in and as compensation, we got half a glass of Coke in a clean glass! Sorry, I really didn't think it was very good yesterday, and at €250, it wasn't cheap either, considering the service and what happened. I would have thought a coffee or a scoop of ice cream on the house for the two kids would have been appropriate as an apology. What a shame, and I'm not sure if I'd recommend it... :( I hope it was an exception!

My wife and I were visiting Saarburg for the weekend, and after a long day of sightseeing, we were craving a good burger. We decided to try Burgerbar, though honestly we were a bit skeptical – being from the US and having had some disappointing burger experiences elsewhere in Germany. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the best burgers I’ve ever had. These burgers easily beat anything back home in America. My wife ordered the sweet potato fries and I went with the onion rings, both were absolutely perfect alongside our burgers. We enjoyed it so much that we will now make the hour drive from our place whenever we’re in the mood for a really great burger. Highly recommend!

The burgers are delicious and of good quality. We were surprised that the fries were charged separately. This was casually mentioned while taking our order, as if it were part of the package. We could have seen this ourselves if we had read the menu more thoroughly, but it wasn't clear to me that the burgers came WITHOUT fries. Otherwise, the food was delicious! The shop is right at the front of the street, but unfortunately it's a bit hidden. The food is spot on, super tasty, not too much, not too little!! The staff, like the guests, were incredibly flexible when it started to rain during my stay... I would eat here again anytime!

Wieder mal ein toller Abend. Die Burger waren hervorragend, ebenso die „Fries“. Eine meiner Töchter ist Veganerin und war ebenfalls begeistert. Wir finden es vorbildlich, dass man alle Burger auch mit veganen Fleischersatzprodukten erhält. Und der Qualität tut das keinen Abbruch. Der Service war aufmerksam und schnell. Wie immer. Wir wohnen im Ort und schätzen das angenehme Ambiente innen und außen. Einfach empfehlenswert.
