The atmosphere is really great! Unfortunately, the food doesn't quite impress me. It's definitely all pre-made stuff. It's not inedible or anything, but I wouldn't go there again. Some of the cheese fries were really burnt.

Were a bit disappointed due to the good reviews. Sunday at 2 p.m. for lunch. The homemade burger “Prince” was delicious, but it was no longer hot at the table. The "Chrispy Chicken Cheese DELUXE" is just a pressed, probably frozen patty (which is exactly what I get everywhere) but unfortunately nothing special. Sauces taste good, lettuce and tomatoes tasty and fresh. Pickled cucumbers are super delicious. We also shared a portion of “French Fries CHEESE”. I imagined a large portion to be somehow more delicious. It just didn't look or taste that great - but I have no comparison here. The waitress was a bit impatient and had already asked twice after ordering drinks in a very short space of time whether we had already decided. Already cleared the burger plates including cutlery, even though the portion of fries was still eaten. For dessert I ordered a Kinder Bueno milkshake to take away. Unfortunately, this had a huge cream topping, which was not mentioned in the menu. So I had no option to deselect this topping. The shake was very tasty but the cream didn't need it.

An authentic piece of America in the middle of the city! I really loved this burger joint. As soon as you enter, you can feel the authentic American vibe - from the decor to the music. The service staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, so you immediately felt welcome. The order was taken quickly and the food came surprisingly quickly. But the absolute highlight was of course the burgers! You immediately notice that everything here is made with love and by hand. The juicy meat, the fresh ingredients and the perfectly coordinated sauces conjured up a true taste experience. Every bite was a delight! If you're looking for a real, hand-made burger in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, this is the place for you.

The service was great and the food, as always, was delicious and on the table quickly. Unfortunately, there is also something negative. Last time I couldn't close the women's toilet. Now the women's toilet was still not repaired this time. Too bad...

We spontaneously went to the Burger Lounge last night. Since we didn't call or make a reservation beforehand, luck had to help us. When we arrived all the tables were occupied. After we had already decided to order takeaway, we were offered a table for two when the guests wanted to pay. So luck played a part. We each ordered a burger with French fries and a drink. We were more than satisfied with our burgers, Rocky Balboa and Prince. And the fries were really good. The service was also great. Shortly before paying, I ordered a raspberry/vanilla shake for the way home. This was also very tasty, but a bit too thick. You had to be practiced at sucking to get it through the straw. What I was unfortunately missing was a blueberry shake... but so what...🤷 I have a little suggestion for the menu...a new burger creation with Parma ham and buffalo mozzarella called Vito Corleone.😉 Conclusion....good service, great food...we'll be happy to come back. Next time with reservation.

I don't understand the good reviews, twice there and each time the burger was completely fried. The ambience is of course great, but others can do better with fries and burgers.

I had reserved a table for 3 people, when we were there for the appointment we got a table for 2 people. According to the waitress, we reserved it too late and since the colleague hadn't written down my phone number correctly, they couldn't reach me. Unfortunately, the lady pointed out the small table to me during the reservation, so I would have immediately made another appointment. Despite checking the phone number twice, I still can't understand why they didn't have my phone number. Sorry, I had the feeling they accepted more reservations or some guests stayed longer than expected. Since we have ordered and picked up there several times, I have to say that it always tasted very good there. Even a stool offered after I wanted to leave doesn't make it any better. We left and ate somewhere else.

Super delicious, especially the homemade burgers. It's a bit of a shame that drinks come from a vending machine and aren't homemade, but it's acceptable. I find it unacceptable that my favorite service worker was fired. Always loved her sayings.

A nostalgic American burger shop There are so many burger options that it's always confusing, but they're all delicious. The service people are friendly and kind. The price is reasonable and I often use it on my way home from work.

Went in with a burger craving and got more than I wished for! Name of the burgers on the menu made me choose without thinking 🙃 Paul Newman, the Godfather, curly fries, sweet potatoes fries, chili sauce and trufle mayo and a cappuccino. Amazing service, smiling and joyful, original decor that went along with the beauty of our lady hosts 😍 Burgers were cooked to perfection, choice of veggies pickles and sauces were surprising and delicious as a combination. The Godfather burger is super size can easily feed 2 people if not 3 🙃 Fries were crispy and corectly salted snd the trufle mayo blew my mind! Congrats! Keep it up and see you soon 👌👌👌🥰

The Michshake tasted like pudding. The Chilli-Chesse Fries were very sour. The food came in 15 minutes. I still wouldn't recommend it.

Burgers couldn't be any hotter. You're sitting in a real American diner. The dishes are great. The pictures speak for themselves. And as befits an American, extra cheese is even added over the cheese. Only weak point. Too few indoor spaces. In summer it is certainly better thanks to the large outdoor terrace. Definitely reserve a table.

Spontaneously drove past and stopped. Food was great. A huge selection of citizens and cocktails. 1 star deduction the atmosphere inside is very cool you can still work on the toilet. Definitely coming back.

Stylishly furnished community restaurant near Quickborn. Within walking distance of the Ibis Budget Hotel in about 5 minutes, there are also parking spaces of your choice. The decor corresponds to the wet dream of a Hollywood director who is responsible for decorating the typical American citizen's restaurant. There are old American vehicles half-draped everywhere (whether original or not is irrelevant). A section of such a vehicle serves as a bench. In general, the entire furnishings are well done and create the right ambience. The service staff ensures that your visit to the restaurant is as pleasant as possible with friendly questions and a smile on their faces. The kitchen also does a good job and creates a good balance of very tasty food at affordable prices. If you missed Hamburg a little and ended up half an hour north, you should definitely make a detour here. The visit is definitely worth it, gladly again!

The food was very tasty. The diner was busy but the food came very quickly and the service was very friendly. The restaurant is not very big but has a nice American diner atmosphere as you would imagine. The card had the standard offers and there were no surprises here. There are also parking spaces on site.

The food was good. The price is reasonable. I think people expect a little bit more volume to the burgers, but the taste was good. The pommes were yummy. The service was excellent. A great hospitality, friendly and kind. They speak English, too. The decoration was cute, very 'American' style, which goes well with the food.

If I could I would give 10 stars for each category. I was there with my girlfriend today shortly before the kitchen closed. We ordered 5 delicious citizens to take away, which were received in a friendly manner without making a face. And were prepared very quickly. About the ambience: great 60s/70s style (I fell in love with the car-style bench seat, unfortunately I couldn't take it with me). Music from Elvis and co. At a comfortable (not too loud / not too quiet) volume. I highly recommend the Quickborn Burger Lounge. Will be happy to come back.

Unfortunately very drafty in the front door entrance area because there is no winter curtain (like in many pubs)! Alternatively, you could build an additional entrance area in front of it. A burger order was taken incorrectly and therefore incorrectly delivered. If the outside temperature is 1 degree, the soft drink is still delivered with three ice cubes! What's this nonsense? The glasses used had no calibration mark!? Outdoor lighting is currently very sparse, it could be better!

Very tasty burgers in a great atmosphere

If you have to sit in the back left corner, you should bring a seat cushion. The seat on the corner bench is broken and you sag so low that your head is almost at table height. But this has been the case for a long time and shows how important the customers are there. The lettuce in the burger could have been drained beforehand. It wasn't so great now.

We were on the way further north from Hamburg and looked for a restaurant on Google Maps and found the Burger Lounge in Quickborn. The selection of burgers is large. The burgers were fresh and the meat was juicy, including the turkey breast, and the fries were crispy. I can't comment on the men's toilets, but only one women's toilet might be a bit small. But all in all, once again one of our great coincidence finds.

Burger was okay… tasty, but god knows nothing special. Nice location, trying to furnish it as authentically as possible; OK, looks pretty nice. Service, now I almost said “as usual these days”, inattentive, bored, not an expert etc. 4 girls, only busy with themselves and their stories, you have to go to the counter yourself if you want to order more. Some guests also went to the counter to pay. My tip: Next time just go 🤷‍♂️ Yes, I have been a hotelier myself for 25 years. We grew up differently, so the focus was still on “service” and not on the pointless chatter behind the counter. Times have changed, I know... I only use myself as a benchmark to a limited extent. But then it's better not at all than like that!

We enjoyed it very much and the food came quickly. The service is very friendly. I just don't like the parking situation because the parking lot isn't visible from the street and doesn't offer many spaces and isn't that big either. The toilets work and are clean.

The Burger Lounge branch in Quickborn-Heide is a good choice if you want a burger, wings or milkshake. The branch is very busy, so a seat reservation is recommended in the evenings. The staff is friendly. The food good. A deduction in service for the parking lot that is far too small and difficult to access, as well as the nonsensical definition of the delivery area by the franchisor. Norderstedt Nord (Friedrichsgabe) is delivered from the Norderstedt branch on the Hamburg city limits - so with a long journey time, limp fries and cold burgers. Meanwhile, this branch is only a few minutes' drive from the district, but is not allowed to deliver there. That’s why we prefer to choose “Takeaway”.

We called ahead specifically. We were told to just show up. Then we walked for 30 minutes to find out that they were fully booked and that "the new one had made a mistake" and that they hadn't suddenly expected so many visitors.

We just had dinner here with two well-behaved kids, who were in transit from Denmark to the Netherlands. What sweet, patient service and a super beautiful tent, nice atmosphere, good affordable food, it was a nice end to our holiday for us. A big 10, keep it up, if we are ever in the area again we would love to come and eat again.

We drove past here by chance and luckily stopped in. The bun is great, the weed burger tasted extremely good and the fries were great. The service is friendly and quick. We'll come back at the next opportunity.

Very tasty premium burgers, food worth recommending

We wanted to eat there on August 13, 24 at around 5 p.m. When we arrived we were asked somewhat harshly if we had reserved. We said no and were told we could sit at a non-reserved table. So we did that too. Since it was too loud for us near the counter (music from the speakers), we sat a little further away. I ordered, among other things, a hot dog burger de luxe, which I had already eaten before. The Hot Dog Burger de Luxe arrived and I was a bit irritated because it looked completely different than usual. I took a closer look at it and noticed that there was only a hot dog bun, a small cut burger patty, fried champions and house dressing on it . Something was missing……..and it tasted quite bland and dry. I asked and the harsh waitress just said that it was normal and that it was always served that way. I was dissatisfied and looked at home to see what the Hot Dog Burger de Luxe was actually supposed to look like and lo and behold, in addition to the burger patty, there was actually supposed to be cheddar cheese, braised onions and fried onions in the bun. That explained why it tasted so bland and dry. So whether we will go there again, probably not. Somehow it felt like I was being played for a fool and that wasn't a good feeling.

We stayed one night in a hotel nearby and ended up here by chance. We had a nice meal with our children. Lots of different burgers on the menu, all nice in theme. Better to go here than to Mac.
