Today the children wanted to go to Burger King (Öhringen branch) again. A little over 4 weeks ago we went to the drive-thru there and discovered at home that a complete menu was missing, even though it was paid for. After a telephone complaint, they explained to me that the Indian employee was new and asked for their understanding, which I initially agreed with. Today the same branch and the same employee. When I arrived, I immediately sought conversation and shared the latest incidents. A superior was probably also involved in the conversation. Again they apologized and assured me that they would pay more attention to this in the future. I asked several times if he could make sure everything was completely packed. The answer every time was “sure, of course”. At home we had another rude awakening: two portions of fries were missing again. I cannot understand how this can continue to happen despite the previous discussions. I was also offered an apology over the phone, as usual. One thing is certain for me: Burger King Öhringen - at least this employee - is absolutely unacceptable. If I end up back there and see that person standing at the checkout, I'll move on and go to the McDonald's across the street, even if the kids look sad. An absolute no-go!

Never again – an absolute disaster! I was recently at Burger King Öhringen and unfortunately I have to say: It was by far the worst experience I have ever had in a fast food restaurant. I really didn't think it was possible to fail on so many levels - but this restaurant did it. 1. Uncleanliness at the highest level I should have turned around as soon as I entered. The floor was sticky and littered with food residue, as if no one had cleaned the place all day. The tables were covered in crumbs, spilled drinks and greasy marks. The trash cans were overflowing, so guests had to pile their own trays somewhere. Particularly disgusting: The drinks dispenser was covered in a disgusting sticky layer and there were still old napkins hanging in it. I seriously wonder if a thorough cleaning ever happens here. 2. Unfriendly and overwhelmed staff After I had overcome myself to order, I was immediately “greeted” by the annoyed staff. No hello, no smile – just a tired “What would you like?” There was no attempt to be friendly or helpful. I had questions about the order, but the answers were short and annoyed. It was obvious that the team was overwhelmed, but instead of making an effort, the bad mood was simply taken out on the guests. 3. Eternal waiting time – for cold food? I understand that sometimes there can be a wait, but what happened here was simply unacceptable. I had to wait almost 25 minutes for my food even though there were hardly any guests in front of me. When I finally got my order, I was horrified: the burger was ice cold, the bread was rock hard, and the cheese wasn't even remotely melted. The fries were also a disaster - cold, soggy and completely over salted. Honestly, I could have saved the money for something like that. 4. Incorrect and incomplete order But that wasn't all. I had placed a larger order but when I opened the bag half was missing. No nuggets, no sauce, and my drink wasn't what I ordered either. So I had to go back to the counter – and was treated like a troublemaker again. Not a word of apology, just an eye roll and an annoyed “moment.” I ended up getting my missing items - but the sauce was still missing! 5. Hygienic concerns After this experience, I have serious doubts as to whether hygiene standards are being met here. I saw an employee touch food without gloves, then answer his cell phone for a moment and then just carry on. No hand washing, nothing. Absolutely disgusting! Conclusion: once and never again! This Burger King restaurant is an absolute disaster. Dirty, disorganized, unfriendly and then bad food. I can only advise everyone to avoid this store - there are plenty of better alternatives!

Worst BK branch far and wide. It takes forever to prepare an order (20min wait for a takeaway order) and this is not an isolated experience. In the same time, the competition performs ten times as much. The food is usually already cold as soon as the order can be taken away, as it takes another 10 minutes from the time the first product is put in the bag to the last one. It's not always a given that the order will be complete, but that happens to others as well. There is clearly still room for improvement when it comes to service.

We were there with the family last night. The toilets were totally disgusting and there was no soap. Unfortunately our order was not complete. Two sauces were missing. I ordered extra bacon and extra fried onions on my burger. These were also missing. The staff was completely overwhelmed and was more concerned with checking the receipt instead of carrying out the order correctly. At over 60 euros for a few fast food burgers, I would have expected the order to be complete.

My wife and I went to Burger King for the first time in over 20 years. The food was good. Decently warm and viewable. Not so put together and you could all recognize the ingredients individually. There was no receipt paper in the sales stands where you could put together your own menu and despite the fact that we other guests reported this to the staff, no one from the staff (shift supervisor also heard it) was interested and it was skillfully ignored! Unfortunately, around 5 p.m. on a Sunday, the shop was very dirty. The tray return trolleys, two of them, were more than overcrowded, so that the guests were forced to leave the rubbish on the tables. There were fries, leftover burgers and wrappers under the tables (and not just under one table)! The tables in general were greasy, dirty and you couldn't guess when they had last seen a cleaning cloth. There were puddles of melted ice cubes in front of the drinks machine (and this is in direct view of the sales counter). The areas to the right and left of the machine were also not as clean as one would expect in a catering area. According to my wife, the toilets (women's) were in the same condition as the entire restaurant. She was glad she had disinfectant with her, otherwise she wouldn't have gone to the toilet there. As we were leaving, an employee was taking care of the overfilled tray trolleys (entrance and exit area), and a cup with leftover ice cream fell down. He picked it up, but he skillfully ignored the residual muck of melted ice cream that fell out (very slippery)! We will not be visiting this Burger King again due to the above points.

Unhygienic and absolutely disgusting – this cannot go without consequences! Anyone who knows the Burger King branch in Öhringen knows that no card payment, long waiting times and unfriendly staff are the order of the day. Today, February 21st, we placed a large order at Burger King at 5:20 p.m. Unfortunately, we had to make an extremely unhygienic and disgusting discovery: we found hair in both Long Chicken BKS! In one there were two black hairs, in the other there was even a whole clump of hair - just disgusting! It can't be a coincidence that several hairs in both burgers obviously have a "right to exist", according to the motto more hair than sauce. Even if you work without a hairnet, this doesn't actually happen. With the first burger I thought it could happen, but the second one with the tuft of hair broke the mold! This makes me wonder whether the hair was placed intentionally. Something like this should never happen in a restaurant that works with food. We expect that those responsible will be held accountable and that appropriate consequences will follow. Hygiene should be the top priority - this is simply unacceptable! By far the WORST Burger King branch I've ever been to! Card payment is not accepted! When the staff at the King JR Meal didn't even pack the drink and we came back to get it, he charged over €12 and added; “You ordered the King JR Meal without drinking and had to pay extra for the water,” my receipt even said Coca Cola Small even though I wanted water. In the end I got water in the conventional 0.3l cup and not the Vio water bottle which I paid for. When the staff prepared the cups for me, the lady even complained that he had already been working on my order for 15 minutes. Train your employees, both the waiters and the manager, otherwise you will lose even more customers. As long as it continues like this, I'll never come here again!

It was by far the worst thing we were given. The food was not fresh, cold and just warmed up. After I complained, they checked what number I had and they said it was 15 minutes ago and that it was normal for it to be cold. But why do we receive our food 10 after it was ready?!?! After that, the person who was busy just left me alone, only when it got louder did the lady say that someone would call her and I should wait. I take that as a threat, but the disrespect towards a customer who is visiting the branch with his family is simply shocking. I had to clean the table, the trash containers were overflowing. There was no toilet paper either! Quality, quantity, the staff are all shit! In addition, the employees should be able to speak German well enough to be able to speak to customers and that the employees know how to deal with customers. But this is a management problem, if you can't lead, the employees will do what they want. Unfortunately for the business that is still BURGER KING. I would like to talk to the branch manager, or rather the district manager, but you'll just get brushed off in the branch. Conclusion: Never again Burger King Öhringen. I would also advise everyone not to go there!

We drove here specifically because of our voucher book. We ordered a children's menu in advance for our daughter so that she could eat straight away, but there was no dessert... When we asked, they said something wasn't available at Burger King, strange that the website says you get a squeeze or apples. Then we tried to get our food (spoiler: my husband and I left without eating!). The lady at the checkout (Fiona) was totally overwhelmed and said to the family in front of us that you can only get two identical menus with the voucher (the voucher book says: 2 menus for the price of 1 cheaper or equivalent menu for free), so don't bother Sense. The manager is called and he briefly even claims that you only get a burger for the voucher and no menu, but then gives in and says you should order at the panel because the lady at the checkout can apparently only do the billing. After I ordered the food at the panel, I was simply ignored by 2 employees at the checkout for over 10 minutes! The lady named Fiona is totally overwhelmed and shouts to the back that someone should be brought back from the break otherwise she will leave... At this point the restaurant is almost empty... We will NEVER come here again, we have never been treated so rudely at a Burger King!

The staff here will take you for a fool! We came here specifically because of our voucher book. The voucher says 2:1, you get either the same expensive or cheaper MENU for free. The lady at the counter says you only get 2 identical menus for the voucher (what nonsense when it says you get the cheaper menu for free if the prices are different) and the manager even tries to tell you that you only get one burger and no menu. At the counter you are coldly ignored for 10 minutes. The lady (name Fiona on her sign) screams at her colleague, is overwhelmed and says she is going home. I go to Burger King every now and then because I think the burgers are better than M*s. They are juicier and have more flavor. But fast food is something different 😅. I like the food to be fresh, and that's not always the case at Burger King. It's just a shame that you can only order from the machine (Corona feeling). This takes away a lot of the restaurant's charm and personality. And yet the employees still pull long faces. You seem unmotivated and bored. That's a shame, because friendly service makes a big difference. I give three stars because the burgers are good, but the atmosphere and ordering need improvement. Update September 4th, 2024. Nothing has changed except that you have to wait a really long time for your food (10 minutes) (2 customers in front of us with a menu each) and it is incredibly hot in there, which is hard to bear. Everything else is ok, except the heat thing is really unpleasant.

The review is my FREE OPINION: Not so good: Dip / sauces cost money (up to 3 free with MC) New drinks machine, previously 100 drinks variations (Kinley...) NOW new ONLY about 8 varieties. If you book an APP coupon at the machine, e.g. Onion Rings, you simply get a DIP for 50 cents added to it, that is customer unfriendly, the other way round that I have to select additionally would be better. Unfortunately, Burger King has declined a LOT in recent years. In Wörnitz on the motorway the toilets also cost money, let's see when Öhringen follows suit. Now to the 2 stars: Great macaroni & cheese snack.

I accidentally left my wallet in the branch, but didn't realize it until 30 minutes later, when I was already long gone. Luckily I was able to reach someone at the branch directly by phone. I was very happy that an attentive employee found my wallet and stored it in the office there. I was overjoyed and wanted to tip €20 straight away! But that was rejected several times! So all I can do is say THANK YOU again for this honesty and kindness! :-) Of course 5 stars for that! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I accidentally left my wallet on the counter. It wasn't until 30 minutes later that I noticed this. I then googled the phone number and an employee was available directly. My wallet was actually found. I was extremely grateful and of course wanted to give a tip (20 euros), but that was probably not acceptable. Nevertheless, thank you again for that! I would have been “lost” straight away because my wallet also contained the charging card for my electric car, which was currently charging. So as I said, 5 stars for this great service! :-)

What a juice shop. There were three of us there yesterday and all three of us were very disappointed. We always prefer Burger King to Clown, but I'll have to think twice about that next time. We were immediately turned away at the cash register and sent to the terminal. All three of our drinks were warm and the burgers, which were prepared very carelessly after about 10 minutes of waiting, were unfortunately not convincing either. There wasn't really much going on and unfortunately a result like that is a no go. On to the drinks. We wanted peach iced tea and were able to order it that way and the vending machine only offered lemon, which wasn't even available. Poor performance.

There are no longer straws for to-go soft drinks; the young gentleman at the counter explained this to me only with milkshakes. Even when I asked if I could get a “milkshake straw” because I still had 5 hours of driving ahead of me, it wasn’t possible. When I thought that the lowest level of service quality had been reached, the cellar door opened when I asked whether the straw could be purchased and I was left grinning. I almost dropped the cola out of my hand out of sheer shock, but I was still able to control myself. Never again!

The staff is unfriendly and the food is very bad! You can only order at the terminal, which doesn't work! After 20 minutes we had to compromise because the app didn't work and there was no reception in the restaurant. The fries were like cardboard. After we complained, the staff made fun of us. The supervisor was really unfriendly and made us feel that we were not worthy of dining in your kingdom. The restaurant is generally dirty. The toilets smell like a zoo. Bottom line, it's worth a trip to see how poorly a Burger King can perform. I am grateful for my part about the experience. The appreciation from the competition is much greater.

I've been to the above-mentioned Essen branch many times. But the visit on June 30, 2024 topped everything. NO air conditioning - therefore no sitting in the restaurant at over 34 degrees. There was no soap in ANY toilet (man, woman, disabled) - ugh. Drinks machines were all dismantled! Dirty trays and trash were piled up in the carts - people sometimes had to leave it at the table. The tables dirty and sticky. There was 1 for the menu!!! Napkin in which the fries were wrapped. So no way to wipe fingers. Guys, this isn't fun anymore. RTL would have closed here. Please, please make sure that the visit is fun again and that you are not forced to go to the competition.

Outside temperature 31 degrees, but the branch can beat it. It was a tropical 35 degrees and so hot that the terminal touchscreens barely worked. Okay given, of course the air conditioning could be broken. Nevertheless: We waited a total of 20 minutes for our food, it tasted relatively bland and despite checking by two different employees, a burger was forgotten when we ordered. During our wait, there were complaints about bacon on a plant-based burger (rightly!), nuggets were confused with chili cheese nuggets and other orders were put together incorrectly. Apparently the branch manager/team leader had to step in, whose face and mood spoke volumes. The cleanliness of the toilets was also below average. Overall, it's best to give the branch a wide berth. There are much nicer branches with friendly staff and high standards of cleanliness.

An involuntary visit to fast food hell – Burger King Öhringen — Oh, Burger King in Öhringen, you actually managed to impress me - in the worst possible way! First: the WiFi. Who needs working internet when you can order in the Stone Age? We were then directed to the machines, which were 50% out of order. A real game of chance! Despite the empty store, it took us a full 17 minutes to place our order. A marathon of patience! The icing on the cake? The conversation with the management. A truly fascinating experience! We were told in a friendly (ironic) way that the defective machines were our problem. A cycle of absurdity: If we had ordered and paid at the functioning machines, we would still have returned to the checkout. A brilliant system that would make Sisyphus proud!And then the fries. Oh, the fries! They were so bad that even the seagulls at the harbor would have spurned them. Our polite complaint was answered with a charming “It’s just the way it is.” Customer service par excellence! Conclusion: If you are looking for a surreal, Kafkaesque fast food experience, definitely visit Burger King in Öhringen. For everyone else: save yourself time, nerves and taste buds and go somewhere else. Maybe to a Burger King that has arrived in this century.

Bad service. The colleague at the drive counter was extremely confused. I placed my order (2x onion rings instead of fries), then I received two fries and two onion rings and he insisted that I had ordered them. Unfortunately I had already paid. In the end, the onion rings were limp, the Whopper was dry, the fries were mealy and there wasn't a single sauce in the bag. For €20.70 that was a disgrace!

According to the operator, you can only order digitally from the machine. Here you cannot create your own menu and you always have to order a drink. Only reluctantly and forcefully was I able to order at the checkout after the food I wanted couldn't be ordered from the machine.

Compared to other branches, the food is always of the same quality, ingredients are well distributed, there is enough sauce and, unlike other Burger King branches, the meat doesn't taste half burnt. I have to say that I almost exclusively order menus that contain the chili cheese burger. Employees do their job properly and waiting times are never particularly long. Food is always hot. Toilet is OK and not dirty inside or anything like that. Can't complain.

Despite the sign at the checkout, you can ONLY order at the terminal. The drinks machine is dingy. The cups only have the plastic lids with the straw hole but there are no more straws. How are you supposed to drink? Any attempt to speak to the staff several times about this is simply ignored according to the motto that the unpleasant customer will leave at some point. The BK is only and absolutely recommended.

Conclusion: Burger King not only filled me up today, but also raised my expectations of fast food to a new level - the level of absolute insanity. I'll probably go back to McDonald's and apologize to them for this trip. Maybe they'll give me a few nuggets out of pity. 🍔🤷♂️

Wanted to order at the checkout, but were referred to the ordering machine. Waiting forever at the machine to order because the shitty system doesn't work properly. Coupons not accepted. In addition, the menu was cold. I couldn't enter the men's toilet because it smelled extremely like urine. We wanted to reorder something, but no one was available at the checkout. Then I left it. Was here for the first and last time.

This McDonald's is generally okay, but there are a few things that make the visit a bit inconvenient – especially the parking situation. The parking lot is difficult to access and seems rather confusing at first glance. A car dealership is right next door, which further confuses the situation, as the entrances and exits aren't clearly separated, and you have to get your bearings. Especially if you're a first-time visitor, the layout is a bit awkward. Once you make it to the parking lot, however, a typical McDonald's awaits you. The decor is as usual – nothing outstanding, but clean and functional. The self-service kiosks worked well on my visit, and my order was prepared relatively quickly. Everything tasted as you'd expect – classic fast food, no surprises. The staff was friendly, but a bit reserved. The seating was clean, if not particularly comfortable. If you just want a quick bite to eat, this is the place for you – but be prepared for the fact that access to the premises can be a bit confusing. Overall, an average McDonald's with a slight weakness in the parking lot. Three stars are a good fit.
