It's just a Burger King - but much nicer, no dirt and friendly staff :)

We weren't served very kindly, and they simply closed at 9 pm and wouldn't let us order food at 8:40 pm, even though it says everywhere that they are open until midnight.

The food was cold, and the tall, curly-haired young man who usually works there in the afternoons (I think as a "manager") and is supposed to be taking orders, is rude and disrespectful. Go to McDonald's instead; at least you'll get decent service there.

Staff prefer to talk to "friends" rather than prepare orders.

Update: Often something is broken (ice machine or similar), everything takes time... Two ordering counters in the narrow entrance area: Even though there weren't that many guests, the ordering process alone took forever... There's a lot of room for improvement here.

Unfriendly service, you feel more like a supplicant than a customer. I've repeatedly pointed out to the server that garnishing the food after the checkout isn't a problem if you just wash your hands, but this was ignored for all subsequent orders! It wasn't busy on October 14, 2015, at 1:43 PM, but there were still fries, napkins, etc. in the customer area, behind the cash register, and in the kitchen. It's a shame that Burger King hasn't learned anything from the recent scandals. Do the staff not have health certificates, or are they simply ignoring what they learned there?! I'll have to put up with a stomachache for the last time!

Drive-thru order - 20 minutes later (it was the only one in the drive-thru) a meal with 2x crispy chicken, a meal with 2x plant-based long chicken, 20 nuggets, and 6x plant-based nuggets. €38! No mayo or sauce, drinks warm, no ice, no carbonation, burgers and nuggets cold, salad and bread didn't look tasty. Ordered burgers without tomatoes, but of course they had tomatoes. Fries were cold and like cardboard, plus 5kg of salt. Food was thrown away. The worst burger joint, the worst restaurant I've ever visited. Other burger joints have quality. The one in Rotenburg needs to clean up or shut down! You should know.

When I asked if the Plant-Based Double Cheeseburger was vegan, the staff confirmed it was. Upon checking back at home, it turned out that the staff either didn't know this was untrue or were lying. There's no vegan cheese substitute on it.

The worst BBQ ever! Dirty tables, no toilet paper, smelly waitresses who preferred chatting to each other rather than working. The food was either too salty, cold, flavorless, or all of the above. But it was definitely cooked in old frying oil.

Truly a very poorly managed store. Wait times at the drive-thru are usually around 30 minutes. Mind you, this is for only two cars. Orders are often incomplete and always need to be checked. Sides or sauces/dips are often missing. Specials from the app are usually unavailable or simply "sold out." The flags on the building are a symbol of the store and its treatment of guests.

Burger King is an alternative to other fast food restaurants. It tastes OK and is reasonably priced.

It's often happened that either the deep fryer was broken or the grill wasn't working. Getting a meal with good fries, a tasty burger, and no mistakes was a stroke of luck.

The hygiene and service at this branch are very poor. All the restrooms are unusably dirty. After informing the staff, they said it wasn't their fault; the cleaning company only comes once a day in the evening, and there's nothing they can do. The children's menu was missing toys and sauces, but it was significantly more incomplete on previous visits. The children's play tower has been demolished and cordoned off with tape, and overall it's quite uncomfortable, with flickering, broken lights and quite loud music. We won't be trying to order full meals here for the foreseeable future.

One of the worst Burger King restaurants I've ever visited. The staff seemed listless, and the cleanliness was appalling. The burger and fries were cold. After complaining, I exchanged them and got another cold burger. When I used the restroom, the burger almost came out of the top. It looks like they hadn't cleaned them in a while. I'd rather not go into details. 🤮

This Burger King is a complete disaster. Cold burgers...when I asked for a new hot burger, I was given the same one that had been reheated. The fries were only lukewarm. One of the worst Burger King restaurants I've ever been to. Not recommended. The men's restroom is very, very dirty.

I was here 6 years ago, it wasn't the best but it was alright, but dikkah what that was recently, there was no ice cream, dessert etc. because of delivery, outside as well as inside dirty stuffy, no ventilation system etc. why did you still listen to the closed

I don't even know where to begin? Many years ago, I was sitting on your patio and had to watch a fight in your parking lot, under the watchful eyes of my frightened children. A shift supervisor stood by helplessly and, when asked to do something, said, "What should she do?" I then called the police. At the beginning of 2025, I was standing in the drive-thru and received the following message: Welcome to Burger King. Because there are too few staff and it's too busy inside, I'm closing the drive-thru. If you'd like something to eat, please come inside. June 2025: I would like to order two milkshakes for lunch, but I can't get any ice cream or shakes because the machine is apparently broken. July 2025: What should I write? The picture speaks volumes. I'm sorry, but I won't be visiting you anymore. I also can't understand the consistently poor performance here.

Good food and very tasty and very nice staff

I don't usually write reviews, but here it's important to point out grievances, so I have to make an exception. Card payments haven't been accepted for years, and the wait times are simply unreasonable. The drive-thru is sometimes staffed and sometimes not, and you should really avoid it; ordering simply doesn't work without problems/surprises. The staff tries hard, but that's about it, and it feels like it's not the fault of the staff themselves, but rather poor training?! Spontaneous closures are just part of the deal every now and then, without any warning. I actually love Burger King's food, but this place in Rotenburg just drives you to the competition. A shame!

When there is a traffic jam in Hamburg and on the A7, the branch is unfortunately extremely overloaded.

The hygiene standards in the kitchen are just as poor as the restrooms in this store. I got an ice cream that tasted very sour, like expired milk, and when I went to the bathroom, it looked like this. I preferred to hold my bladder until I got home rather than sit on it... Very disgusting and disappointing.

Today, even though the restaurant only has a few guests, the service was not up to scratch. We waited almost 10 minutes for two simple drinks. Sorry.

Be careful when eating. We were there on Friday around 6 p.m., only had a long chicken, the salad was already wilted. Saturday night, it started with vomiting and diarrhea, terrible stomach pain, and the end result: emergency room, food poisoning. The health department was called in by the hospital.

One is often disappointed with Burger King, but these employees were so incompetent and the food was terrible. When I pointed out that one of the burgers tasted bad (like it was moldy), the first employee said, "So what am I supposed to do now?" I said I'd like a new one, but that one wasn't edible. Then he said he couldn't give me a new one. After a long discussion, he got someone to speak up and the lady also asked what she should do... she couldn't exchange it because we'd already taken a bite. Of course we had because it was our burger... we discussed and discussed and didn't get a new burger. Even other customers shook their heads at the lady. She got really cheeky! Never experienced anything like that before. Never again in this shop! Fries made from old oil and burnt, burgers tasted old and one was moldy, as I said, long wait (despite there being no customers). I was wondering why there were hardly any customers and it was 3 p.m.

I ordered a large fries for my premium meal, but received a small portion. The saleswoman seemed to be playing tricks on me; even when I asked if there was something wrong, she persisted. The tables and chairs were also dirty. Everything was very mediocre to poor. I'll never shop there again.

I can overlook the broken debit card payment at the drive-thru, questionable actions by the staff, incorrect change, long wait times, and even the cold fries. But: If I order plant-based nuggets, I expect plant-based nuggets. I ordered two small packages separately with the meal, and in both packages, 1/5 of the nuggets weren't plant-based (you can tell by the seasoning), 2/5 of the nuggets were ancient, and 2/5 of the nuggets were okay. Someone went to great lengths to divide the crap "fairly." The ancient ones weren't enjoyable, and you can forget about the chicken waste, too... For us, this was once again our last visit for a few years. We'll see when we'll see more competent staff. Working hours: June 10, 2025, approximately 8:00 p.m.

The taste was okay. The burgers were relatively neutral. A certain competitor here uses more spice in the meat. The fries were very tasty, though. Otherwise, the staff was friendly, the wait times were acceptable, and the atmosphere was chic.

In this store, customers are treated as if it were a disgrace to order something there. The two employees were so unfriendly that we'll gladly forgo further visits.

It would make sense if there was someone working at the drive in who also enjoys serving women. Unfortunately not in this store at the moment. The guy with the unkempt beard at the drive-thru even points out that it would be better if women went somewhere else.

I went to the fast food restaurant for a snack at lunchtime. My order was taken quickly and the citizen arrived quite quickly. The ambience to stay there is ok. The citizen was ok, I remembered him better.

Unfortunately, the employee was so motivated this morning that she opened late and took her time setting out chairs. So I switched to the drive-in because the cash register wasn't staffed even though she saw that there were customers there. Even though I was the only customer there, the order wasn't taken until 10 minutes later.

Outrageous, poor service. Upon complaining, the employee (of a different ethnicity) threatened me with a bat at the counter. Last time there was yesterday.

Went here to eat with the little one and ordered a chocolate shake but got a vanilla one. In response to the comment, another employee came and said, "My dear, that's chocolate", and tapped a new vanilla shake to demonstrate to me what vanilla looks like 😂 COOL So chocolate shake is defined by the color and not the flavor. Thanks to the “friendly” colleague who loves me so much

Staff always very friendly. Even if there's a lot going on, it doesn't take long. Food is also very good. Negative reviews can't even begin to be understood, cry softly.

We were here at BürgerKing in Rotenburg today, December 7th, 2024, and it was simply catastrophic. The fact that the EC card reader didn't work was the smallest problem here. Only two employees in the whole store and the place is full! We only ordered 3 Chesseburgers and had to wait 40 minutes for them. The employee was quite unfriendly because he was obviously stressed. But it can't be that you have to pass something like that on to the customers!!!!!! We won't be coming here anymore for now.

It's gotten worse and worse in recent years. Meanwhile the burgers taste like lanterns way down, in addition to being bone dry and completely cold. Guaranteed to be the last visit to the shed.

Unfortunately, a sad LAST visit to the drive in, where the employee told me around 9:30 p.m....he couldn't accept orders. They're taking a break now! BUT I can come back in 30 to 40 minutes. Unfortunately, FAST FOOD like this remains burnt.

I like to eat a burger every now and then. 3 stars because the taste of Whopper and Big King matches. The service in Rotenburg is catastrophic. Been there twice and both times unmotivated and even unfriendly employees at the drive-in. It's a shame, it tastes worse and I'm staying away now.

I have been there several times with my grandson. Unfortunately, I was disappointed every time. The staff seems listless and unprofessional, almost even unfriendly; Unfortunately everything is quite unhygienic. The hamburgers are usually only lukewarm and very messily folded. Parking is available directly in front of the building. Unfortunately, we felt very unsafe in the parking lot because there were a lot of young people standing there in groups and seemed to be waiting for something.

A Turkish employee packed my order to take away, but he was so unmotivated that he put the fries in the bag upside down. When my wife and I looked in the bag, all the fries were scattered around without me even getting anything out of the bag I took it, then went straight back to the employee and asked him to give me a new portion of fries. He got angry and said that he had put them in correctly, I didn't really want to argue but when I told him it was obvious wasn't the case, he said I should put my glasses on next time and that I was lucky that he was at work at the time and then said if I had balls that I could wait in the parking lot until 11 p.m. so we can sort it out. Absolutely rude and unprofessional, it was my last visit to the branch, I really can't recommend it..

Every time I'm there the drive is closed and you have to go in. Otherwise just a Burger King as you know it. The staff is very friendly

It was very tasty, the staff were nice. You can sit comfortably and it wasn't boring for the children. It's just a shame that the residual waste is spread everywhere outside.

Food cold, staff unmotivated and the shop correspondingly dirty (including the toilet). Cleaning is probably unknown. Better to chat with “colleagues”. You don't seem to want to make eye contact with customers or even smile. Customer service is a foreign word. Positive, at least there are parking spaces.

Update 8/1/2024 After a long time, I tried again. At other restaurants in the chain there isn't as much mental incapacity as there was back then at that location. This time my order was actually completely and freshly prepared. Everything was still hot and crispy. The service was friendly and even spoke German 🥳 Only the chef consistently works with his mouth open. Looks pretty simple. The plant-based patties were also grabbed with red tongs. But I can't say whether there are perhaps two red ones. But I was pleasantly surprised and would give it another try if I had the chance 🤭 Earlier: Underground! But one after anonther... I ate here a total of five times. Not once did I receive my order in full. Once a drink was missing, sometimes the snacks and once I even missed 3 burgers in the bag. The staff is mercilessly overwhelmed, there are more than 3 cars in the drive in... To make matters worse, I was served the Bacon King PLANT BASED with classic bacon on it (which was specifically advertised as having vegan bacon mayonnaise) 😅 The concept is missing, it doesn't even come close... I think the concept of being able to order every burger vegetarian is very good and absolutely worth supporting. But not the way it is lived in this branch. If you want fast food, then go for the golden seagull.

The whole thing including the concept is no longer up to date. The other American on site is on the ball, modern offers delivery service. And here the electronic outdated devices only work half-heartedly.

A few weeks ago I paid for two cheeseburgers and realized in the car that I got hamburgers... But today I wanted to give BK another chance and this young man, his name is simply Abraham. He saw me, immediately read my body language and knew how to advise me. I was so hungry, I could have even eaten an elephant... But today... A small portion of fries and a cheeseburger made me feel full and happy. I was also allowed to pay for Batman&Co toy figures without having to buy a kids menu. GUYS, YOU SHOULD HAVE THIS YOUNG MAN AS YOUR RESTAURANT MANAGER. Bonus star from me. Thank you for the service.

The staff is absolutely catastrophic, from work speed to communication skills totally below Burger King level, that said the food is in the average range compared to other Burger Kings So if you don't want to feel like a human but want to be full, this is the right place!

Waited over half an hour for standard products and then served them cold. When we brought this up there was only a defiant response. The employees give the impression that they don't want to work here but they are also too lazy or too comfortable to quit.

One star is simply too much, I gave the store several chances and today it was enough. I ordered 2 citizens and after about 20 minutes they were ready to be picked up I said they were warm and lay under the lamp (for 10 minutes) So I said that I wanted to have new citizens because I didn't have to wait 20 minutes to have the cold food. Then I was told you would have to wait another 20 minutes, so I asked for my money back, where I was first aggressively yelled at and told that it wasn't possible. Finally it came the shift management and gave me my money back Worst BK I've ever been to

In contrast to others, I noticed the Burgerking because of the cleanliness and the niceness of the staff. I had to wait a short time for the food, but it was fresh and tasted good, I much prefer that to a burger that has been lying around for 20 minutes. I'd love to come back.

I don't want a burger like that again.
