Today at the terminal, I opted out of ordering tomato and mayo due to an existing allergy. I still received everything, but they refused to take it back. In short, I got a burger that nobody would eat. There was absolutely no understanding of the allergy. This is not how service should be.

It was 23:30 and the store was already closed.

Unfortunately, the ordering terminals weren't working. What a shame, as it turns fast food into a long wait in line at a checkout... very disappointing.

Today is November 21, 2025, it's 10:15 PM. Six of us ordered food, and everyone had at least one item wrong or missing from their order… extremely incompetent staff.

We had lunch with colleagues today, and sorry, but the burgers were ice cold! That's completely unacceptable. I have no idea where they came from, or maybe they were leftovers from yesterday, but they tasted exactly the same. I ordered three cheeseburgers, and all three were ice cold. I asked the server, and her answer was, "She can warm the burgers in the microwave." Seriously?! I wanted fresh, hot food, and that's what I paid for!

Extremely unfriendly. I was unaware of the automatic pickup system, and when I inquired whether this was my order, I was given a very unpleasant lecture.

The toilets had poop all over them

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE finally make sure your employees work reliably. It can't be too much to ask to find what you ordered in the bag. Edit: Even after 3!!! years, nothing has changed. It really can't be that difficult! I don't understand it...

There are charging stations in front of the door, it is always quick and not overcrowded, toilets are very clean, employees are friendly

Very tasty food. There were also vegan options. There were also coupons in the BK app. For burgers and other treats, you can specify in great detail what you want on them, such as two slices of cheese or a cucumber. It's not the healthiest option, of course, but you can order from there every now and then.

It was pretty quick. However, the tables weren't clean, and the staff just seemed to be there.

You keep forgetting things in your order. So it's best to check your order again.

Last Monday at lunchtime, I wanted to try two of the new kebab products. I can't say exactly why, but it took a relatively long time, probably around 20 minutes. Despite the wait, I'm giving it 5 stars for the friendly and courteous service. They first offered me a soft drink to make up for the long wait, and then even gave me an extra kebab burger on the house because my original order was accidentally prepared incorrectly. So, I got my order and the two goodies. Very, very sweet, and thanks again to the lovely ladies at the counter, it saved my day!

We actually like going to Burger King every now and then, and have been regulars at the Landau branch for years. The quality of the food has been declining for some time now. The fries often taste old and dry, and the burgers are regularly cold and have very little toppings. Last time we visited, the fries were rubbish, and the buns on my (veggie) long chicken were seriously burnt. When the veggie nuggets were new, they were absolutely amazing. I don't even order them anymore because they're extremely dry and taste kind of like bread. I have no idea if they're sometimes fried twice, or if the recipe has been changed so badly that they just don't taste good anymore. It's a real shame, either way. There's definitely room for improvement in terms of cleanliness. We're not particularly demanding, but the tables should at least be wiped down regularly, so you don't have to choose your seat based on which table is the least dirty.

Very clean restaurant. The service staff were very friendly. The food was standard Burger King fare, but the burgers were well prepared, not like in other branches.

The employees are very unfriendly. They speak disrespectfully and irritably to customers. If the employees can't handle the workload, they shouldn't be working in customer service.

Bad and the hosts are not nice to the customers

Even one star is too many!!! We ate at the Landau branch the day before yesterday. Everything was dirty, the toilets looked disgusting, and the employees were all visibly annoyed, with nothing happening that could have been wiped down. The burgers were cold and the onion rings were stale and dry. On top of all that, my husband and I felt very sick with stomach cramps afterward! So, never again Burger King!!!!!!

Ate there last night, and that was the last time. The burger was kept half-warm, the meat was cold and didn't taste fresh at all, even the fries were only lukewarm. My wife and I felt sick and had stomach aches an hour after eating. A truly rancid place, only

I don't usually go there often, but today was a total disappointment... The fries were cold, and so were the chicken nuggets... Everything was hard and stale. The burgers were freshly made and, as usual, of good quality. The staff was very friendly... maybe it was because it wasn't busy... but giving out stale food just because of that isn't a good idea. Especially since you're spending your hard-earned money on it...

I was here at Burger King today at 11:30 a.m. I received very friendly service – the employees spoke fluent German. The dining area was clean, and the food was warm and delicious, as usual. The wait was about three minutes, as the fries took a while to arrive. I was very satisfied. I'll be back :)

I really like going to Burger King in Landau, but the last few times have been really disappointing. There's always something missing. At first glance, everything was there, but in the end, half of it was missing. There were three of them standing there putting it together (which was probably the problem). It wasn't crowded, nor did they seem understaffed. We always drive a long way and even got two Naruto meals and snacks for €50, one of which was half missing. Unfortunately, we didn't notice until we got home. We called to complain and didn't get any help other than a "sorry." I think you could at least get a coupon for that amount as a gesture of goodwill. Too bad, they used to be better. 😕

Normal Burger King food. Service is average, good/bad, depending on the operator. Restrooms are terrible with loose faucets. Parking lot signage and a ridiculous fine (€29.90) were slapped on three customers while I was there. Never again...

Vegan burger served with beef!! I've been completely meat-free for many years. Last night, we stopped briefly at BK in Landau and took the food home. One burger we ordered had the vegan patty, and the other had a dead animal on it—even though it was wrapped in the correct paper. Sorry, but that's terrible!! Orders at this branch are rarely correct. I can live with the wrong sauces, but not with dead animals in my food. Thanks for nothing!!👎

The tables were dirty as hell, and the sauces were forgotten. The burgers tasted rancid, just like any other burger in the UK.

Burger buns are out of stock, burger patties are cold, tomatoes keep falling off (caution: slippery surfaces), nuggets don't taste good, service is unfriendly, and the toilets aren't clean! Outrageous for these prices.

Everything tastes like crap. I had a long session on the toilet. €12 for laxatives is really tough.

Laxatives at a fair price I was hungry and wanted to eat something, then he was there. Shortly after eating, the shock hit. I quickly went to the toilet and had to make a nest. I only used single-ply toilet paper.

Burger King again today. After ordering electronically, we looked for a free, clean table. There wasn't a single clean table available in the entire restaurant. Only after a complaint did the shift manager clean the tables herself. The employee assigned to cleaning, visibly listlessly, cleared away the full rack of dirty dishes. The floor wasn't very clean either. The food came quite quickly. Although we ordered two identical burgers, they didn't have the same toppings. My wife had onions on them, I didn't. My strawberry milkshake tasted like vanilla. Overall, I've had much better experiences. There's plenty of room for improvement.

I was there today during my lunch break. I ordered something to eat and ate it. Everything was overpriced and tasted very bad. In the end, I wanted to leave. There was a parking ticket on the windshield in the Bürgerking parking lot. After 30 minutes, I was charged almost €30. The reason given was that the parking disc was missing. It looked as if someone was standing there waiting and handing out parking tickets. I've never seen such a customer rip-off. Never again.

Unfortunately, not recommended. 6+ staff, no technical problems, and up to 15 minutes waiting for a simple meal in a fast-food restaurant!? ... Get a refund and goodbye.

Been there three times, disappointed three times: - Ordered a set meal the first time, but got the completely wrong burger. - The second time, got a burger without meat. So, not vegetarian, but completely without meat: two bun halves with lettuce, onions, and cucumber. - The third time, again, got the wrong burger, and then got a rude rant, saying that they'd probably just changed their minds and were now trying to sneak in another burger for free.

My wife and I went to Burger King for the first time in years. I understand that you pay €13.89 for a Bacon King on the menu these days. However, my burger was very dry, which was probably because there was only one slice of cheese on the two patties. I complained about the burger and they confirmed that there was no cheese between the patties. Now they seriously offered to put another slice on afterwards. I asked if he was serious, since the cheese doesn't melt anymore. The answer I was told was that I couldn't expect a fresh burger because there was a missing slice of cheese. I'm furious!

I mean, it was Burger King. We got what we expected—quick food with jalapeños. Unfortunately, my burger had onions on it, despite having requested it. My companion's, however, didn't. Both burgers were cold. But the employees responded well and took care of things quickly.

Three sauces were forgotten when we ordered, which in itself wouldn't be so bad, but we had to speak to the people three times before they responded. In addition, in the hygiene area there were loud calls in Arabic using loudspeakers and a private telephone, which in my opinion is absurd. On the one hand, because of the hygiene area in the kitchen, I also find it very disturbing when you overhear a conversation in Arabic throughout the entire restaurant; this is a very oppressive feeling. Absolutely not recommended.

Picked up a few plant based products at the drive in last night. As you know, the quality varies, but when it was freshly made it was always good. Unfortunately not yesterday. The patties were really disgusting and absolutely inedible. Completely rock hard on the outside and pale whitish in the middle. Fries weren't fresh either. Had to throw away the food.

Went there because of the kids, only ate desserts. Outdoor area closed with a slide. When we asked, they couldn't help us.

I've had better food at Burger King in other cities. Also very difficult when the man at the drive in doesn't understand you at all and sometimes mixes things up even though we kept repeating what we want. Please only hire people who speak German, everything else is nonsense

Just a Burger King. Ordering is also possible at the terminals (three pieces). Food was ready quicker than expected and tasted as expected.

Food was good but the cashier was just unfriendly and derogatory towards us, it could be because we are southerners (I don't want to accuse anyone of being racist) she also gave dirty looks the whole time then another colleague came to her, the two ladies looked at me and my father while we were eating and started laughing while they looked at us but the shop was clean and the food was tasty

Unfortunately, tables are always dirty, no matter what time of day it is, even if the shop is empty and the staff is just standing around or having a smoke outside. When we asked to wipe a rag around the table, someone came and quickly wiped the crumbs off the table, which then ended up on the seats. Since I already have the rag in my hand, I could just quickly wipe down all the tables...but no...no one is sitting there. Yes, it's a fast food chain and not a restaurant... with a little understanding or commitment, it can be done differently.

Sorry, but this overpriced, inferior crap is just disgusting. The lattice fries were loveless and the chicken nuggets were like rubber and the taste was like cardboard. Without the rather bad sauce you can hardly eat it. Why do people spend money on this? And for a small handful of fries and 6 nuggets you pay almost €10? That's just bold and bitter. Great profit maximization for the franchise - sell the cheapest ingredients expensively in mass production.

Today my husband and I went to Burger King. We ordered two menus. The bun in the Whopper wasn't fresh, you could tell by the smell. Also, the burger was cold. The fries were dry and barely warm, the onion rings were also cold and rubbery. There was only one napkin for both of us. The only normal thing was the cola. The counters were overflowing with dirty trays and the toilet wasn't cleaned. This was the worst Burger King I have ever visited.

Optimal leftover management. One of four burgers was OK. Big King: The meat hasn't just seen the grill once. Whopper: Here too, black as night and dry as a desert. Long Chicken: Nuggets as a patty. The cleanliness of the branch is really “special”: disgusting toilets, sticky floors. Some burgers are hot after preparation, some are already cold (King's Beef). Coupons or in-app vouchers for the chili cheese fries are no longer accepted; after all, they are too cheap at €1.99/€2.99. Instead, you can buy the fries for an extortionate price of €4.99.

Attention vegetarians/vegans beware! There is no emphasis on customer service here. Bad burgers, rotten fries and stupid/incompetent staff. P.S.: if you set up terminals for ordering to save staff, then you also have to show goodwill if the parts don't deliver! Repeatedly carelessly topped burgers and dry patties; also in “prime time”. Sometimes not a complete order in the bag; so check before taking with you!! Not vegan even though ordered. Very uncool. Other branches do it better. Veganury is a great thing!! If the Bigrib patty is completely dry and the special sauce is almost non-existent and dried out, then that's definitely not good advertising. It actually tastes good, but this version won't convince anyone of the benefits of plant-based food. Very unfortunate. A little more effort and work ethic would be appreciated.

The food was cold, the burgers were too small and there was hair in the fries. Almost full for 25€. Good location and view.

Review for Burger King We were at Burger King yesterday and it was pretty empty, only four tables were occupied. Unfortunately we had some difficulties with the order terminals. It took three attempts before we could adjust the order correctly (e.g. replacing Coke with Fanta) because the system crashed every time. That was pretty annoying. After we finally ordered and the food was ready, we noticed something was missing. When we complained we were told the missing order was not showing on their screen. That would be understandable if there had been a lot going on - but with so little activity? At least we got the missing food without any further problems. Aside from the technical difficulties, the food was good and we were satisfied overall. Maybe the terminals could be reworked, then the visit would be perfect!

Unfortunately the burgers were cold and it was very cold in the restaurant itself. We had to change our little mouse and the changing room was not very clean and cold.

Just typical BK. What else can you say about that? Only one thing bothers me. It happened twice at takeaway that my order wasn't complete! Something was forgotten twice in 4 visits to the store. This record is really bad. Even if you're already used to something like this at fast food chains like BK or McDonalds...

We have been to this Burger King restaurant several times. But for some time now it has been noticed that the burgers and fries are only served lukewarm. In addition, ketchup and sauces are saved on the burgers. The vanilla ice cream also no longer tastes like vanilla because it is probably diluted with a lot of water (it tastes better in the McDonalds in Landau, which an employee at Burger King Landau also admitted to us). We understand that savings need to be made, but this must not come at the expense of taste, especially since prices have risen significantly.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars I have visited many Burger King restaurants and can say that the service at this restaurant was good and the employees were friendly. Unfortunately, the ambience - both inside and out - was pretty run down. The toilets were filthy, food and packaging materials were scattered everywhere, and the food return stations were not emptied. I could have accepted all of this somehow. The crucial point, however, was the food, and unfortunately I was disappointed here. My Whopper was cold, one was missing the cheese, the other had the cheese there but didn't even spill. The burger was dry and the long wait made matters worse. For me, food is the most important thing, and that just wasn't right here. Therefore, unfortunately I can only give 2 stars.

All extra ingredients for 3 burgers were forgotten. Also forgot chilli cheese fries. Ordered without cucumbers, received with cucumbers. Excuse, we are a substitute for the Christmas party. Ridiculous, people save your money, make your own burgers or go to MC, it's not the best shop either, but it's 1000 times better than the Burger King in Landau

A medium-sized business that isn't one of the cleanest locations...and the food was slapped together relatively carelessly. I'm used to much better things in Rastatt (much smaller). When it comes to the large fries, I'm still doubting whether the cashier's statement is correct because in my opinion that was the smallest portion. Since the prices in general are now hardly inferior to a visit to a restaurant, citizens should at least look at something similarly appealing. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case in the company, both for me and my companion.

We were inside for a short time and the interior was completely filled with smoke and smelled of grill grease. So we bought food at the drive-thru. The order came quickly, but the food was simply thrown at us. Fries were good and fresh. The burgers (one of them vegetarian) were ok.

Terrible bread, stale, no taste

We used to love being guests at Burger King. For some time now you've been getting old fries all the time and the burgers are either missing the cheese or bacon (which you paid for)! And if you complain about something, they simply take the burger and slap what's missing on it! Staff totally unmotivated and prefer to chat instead of properly taking care of the orders. I will no longer recommend this branch and will instead visit the competition (McDonald's, Subway, etc.). What a shame!

Pure rip-off of the customer with the Krone points system, the employee on site supposedly scans the unnecessary code so that the Krone points go to the account, which doesn't happen at all when you're at home and looking

Were at the drive-in shortly after 11 p.m. When we got home, we noticed that half of it was missing and we couldn't reach anyone by phone. The quality of the food meets Burger King standards, you know that before you go. The only thing is that it happens quickly.

I've always really enjoyed going to this BK in Landau. Service is faster than many other locations. What wasn't ok today is the following: Order: wrong drink; Cola instead of Vio, was swapped after feedback. 2 Big King, 1 x lukewarm, 1 x completely cold; although there weren't that many customers. Toilet: Faucet in the men's toilet broken and soap empty. Generally made a grubby impression. Alternatively, there were no wet towels when asked at the checkout. Unfortunately, that's the reason why I'm more likely to go to Mac Donalds again in the near future.
