Not worth it in the evening, because opening hours are wrong...I was told at 8.30pm that they were closed...stupid but stupid

Dear Mr. Burger King, I know I'm not worthy, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being served by a lady who brightened my day with her rudeness and lack of interest. I apologize for asking if this Burger King participates in the coupon program. I should have known that this wasn't the case. How did I even think that? Thank you for giving me my food at particularly expensive airport prices. I know I'm not really worthy, but for a lot of money even the king turns a blind eye. I promise to improve, and in the future, when faced with such rudeness, I will phrase my obsequious order much more politely. Thank you for taking my money; I know I'm not worthy. I humbly apologize for my visit. Thank you.

A Burger King in the airport that runs out of food at 8:30 p.m.! Unbelievable!

I ordered a Whiskey BBQ meal. They also advertised it on the TV/display. They sold me the meal even though they didn't have the ingredients. The sauce was wrong, jalapenos were missing, and the lattice potatoes were just plain French fries. The sauce was just a simple herb sauce, probably the French fries sauce. As we sat at the table eating, the advertisement for the Whiskey BBQ meal was turned off, and the TV/display turned off. The employee sold me the meal without telling me anything about the missing ingredients; they just threw the burger together. I'm totally disappointed with Burger King and this terrible branch...

Long wait times with only one employee at the counter. The cappuccino is okay and still affordable. But what's wrong with the interior? Is it from the 80s? See photos.

Try to avoid it it is total crap

If I could, I would give 0 stars. This was by far the worst service I have ever experienced. I repeated several times that I wanted vegetarian burgers, but the staff seemed unwilling (or unable) to understand, insisting that I had asked for a “normal” one, which I absolutely did not. The lady in particular was not only extremely condescending, but also disrespectful and openly humiliated me in front of everyone. She pretends to understand, yet constantly gets the orders wrong. I almost walked out because of how unpleasant and humiliating the experience was, but since we were hungry and had no other choice, we had to stay. On top of the awful service, the food itself was terrible, the place was dirty, and overall it was just horrible.

I've been to many Burger Kings – but this one is an absolute disaster. They should actually give it negative stars. Staff: So unfriendly that you feel like you've personally offended someone just by ordering a Coke. Friendliness? None. Instead, annoyed looks, zero motivation, and you're treated as if you wanted to eat for free. Organization: Total chaos. Orders simply disappear, food is handed out to the wrong people, and the team seems completely overwhelmed. You wait forever, and when you finally get something, it's usually the wrong thing. Hygiene: A disgrace. The floor is sticky, the tables stink, the tray is greasy, and you hardly dare touch anything. A fast-food restaurant in the middle of an international airport – and it looks like it hasn't been properly cleaned in months. Food: Substandard. The burgers are cold and soggy, the fries are as limp as bubble gum, and the Coke tastes like stale dishwater. Honestly, even a dried-out cheese sandwich from a vending machine would be better. Prices: An insult. For this quality, airport prices are nothing but a rip-off. You pay a premium, but you get the bare minimum. Conclusion: This isn't just a bad Burger King—it's a cautionary tale of how to really ruin a traveler's airport experience. Any back-alley kebab stand delivers better quality, faster, and with more heart. If you go here, it's your own fault.

My kid was asked by the staff for money to get a ketchup. What is the service level of this shop?

Literally saw 3 mice eating the garbage on the ground. When I said something to the employees they seemed to have already known. There was trash everywhere despite 3 workers in the kitchen and no customers. The food was soggy and disappointing. UPDATE: I got severe food poisoning from this place. I was very sick on an 8 hour flight. DO NOT EAT HERE

Very bad. Employee comes out of the terminal area and starts preparing burgers. Blow your nose and carry on. Waited almost 15 minutes for the order. I received 2 cheeseburgers with patties that were burned and seemed to have been prepared long beforehand. Cold, dry, burnt. The fries were freshly prepared. However, they were in the deep fryer for too long. So it was warm, but also dry and burnt. Of the 3 order terminals, exactly 1 worked. So in summary: too expensive, too long waiting times, terrible hygiene and the worst cheeseburger ever.

Never experienced such a bad Burger King. We waited over an hour for our food. In the end we even had to leave it there because otherwise we would have missed our plane. Only 3 employees. About 30 people waiting. It doesn't work at all. You can feel sorry for the employees.

Without a doubt, the worst BK experience I've ever had. Almost made me lose my flight by simply skipping my order, not giving me my drink because he couldn't figure out what "no, just coke zero" means, and they messed up my burger because I guess putting No Onions was a bit too much for them.

Had no sauces and my sister's apple spritzer was mistaken for a cola

I really have to share this so everyone can avoid this scam. This was truly an eye-opening experience. Before my departure, I decided to grab a meal at Burger King in Frankfurt Airport. I ordered a combo meal: a double burger, a portion of chicken wings, fries, and a bottle of water. The price displayed was 27 EUR. I tried paying with my card twice, but both transactions failed because their machine was broken. They then asked if I had cash in euros, and I said no. They told me that I could also pay in US dollars, which I happened to have. So, I handed over a $100 bill to the cashier. To my surprise, they only gave me 38 EUR in change. After sitting down, I realized something was off—I had just paid $60+ for this meal! That means the exchange rate they used was nearly twice the actual rate. This meal ended up costing me over 400 RMB, which is absurd. I went back to the cashier and then to the manager, but they insisted that they have the right to set their own exchange rate. What the hell?! This is blatant daylight robbery. If they had openly listed the meal price as 400+ RMB, I wouldn’t even be this angry. But forcing people to pay twice the actual price just because they don’t have euro cash? That’s insane! I’ve already sent complaint emails to the airport and the German Consumer Protection Agency, though I don’t know if it will help. Either way, I’m sharing this so that everyone can be warned: At the airport, always pay with euros or use your credit card. Never pay in USD cash, or you might get scammed like this!

Not trying to be rude, but those 5 workers needs to be removed from their workplace. Very slow and not giving right orders. Me exactly didn't received Whooper. They gave me BigKing also without everything, only had beef. Shame on this big airport and franchise like Burger King to be this bad.

Orders are not received as ordered. Lattice potatoes were cold and inedible and could be counted on one hand. They weren't brought into the bag with a sxhut or something like that, but rather by being served in the hand

Bad mood of the employees and long waiting times when the store is full. Not again.

According to the employee, a restaurant at one of the largest airports in Germany closes at 8 p.m. and only the leftovers are sold. An indictment.

Very slow and unmotivated service, even with a long queue. Unclear menu ("sold out" stickers on changing screens), ice machine turned off. I wanted to provide feedback to BK by using their recommended way, but you need the store ID which should be part of the bill. The store is logged as "Street Street No., 12345 City" and with no VAT number. AFAIK, that's illegal 🤷‍♂️

2 people working, long queue, best to avoid

Simply no service. Food was no good too but at least it’s hot. Worst Burger king I ever eaten at. my kid dun eat vegetable and i requested for the burger to not include vegetable. The counter lady basically say “No” and gave a “take it or leave it attitude”. Worst than mcdonald. environment was also less than idea. We saw mickey mouse running around. will not come again.

while waiting my flight why not eat first in Burgerking...the lady in the front is filling all cups before i come in. I observed she cough a lot but because im hungry i dont mind it. I ordered my food with the young Man. The lady preparing food is also sneezing. The question is why the management allowed people to work while they are sick? They working on the food they can spread viruses if they got it.

Lukewarm ate like everywhere else...and then half of it was missing...as I said "like everywhere"!

Unfortunately there is only a very limited menu selection here. Many things are either sold out or not there at all. Coupons and King of the Month menus cannot be used/purchased either. Then it's better to go to McDonald's a few meters beforehand. Huge selection and lots of space.

Only 1 person at the till and 1 person at the kitchen. Really inefficient, had to wait 20 minutes to order. Then I was given a burger that was laying there for long time and when I asked for a warmer one, the woman rolled her eyes on me. Avoid.

Food is OK. Unfortunately, there is no code on the receipt that Burger King uses to advertise that you get a free fries if you write feedback.

Unfortunately you couldn't redeem any coupons. Service wasn't the friendliest but OK. Food was lukewarm, bacon was like rubber. Of course it can also depend on the day. I was not satisfied when I got up.

Food was already prepared much time before!!! There was no one except me and 2 guys as a cashier I am standing in front of them -directly near cash plece. No one took my order. Then another client came (man) and suddenly cashier went to him and took his order even though I was standing next to him. Then the other cashier look at me finally and said go there. What is this behaviour?! They saw me but even though continue discussion between themselves.

Waiting in line for ages only to be told that a large part of the menu was not available

At International airport, the person on counter should know basic English. Burger tasted very average. And worst thing is they charged 30 cents for a receipt. Ridiculous.

Terrible serving and unsurprising to see such poor ratings… if only I had looked at the reviews before ordering I would have spared myself wasting time and money. The lady’s sigh couldn’t have been louder as I ordered in English, chips cold and she practically threw the food down on the counter at me.

I love how many people have taken the time to review this burger King and state how the food wasn't fresh... it wasn't what was expected... the Michelin stars were not pasted on the wall outside of this eating establishment. I mean at least its better than a McDonald's. On the plus side there are other places to eat. On the other hand if you'd like a burger and fries, then I guess this is the place to be.

Racist staff. We ordered 2 Burgers and 2 Fries and the lady on the counter gave 2 ketchup only. When we asked for the 3rd one, she said 0.5 euro but when someone asked in German they gave it for free. From starting she was rude and was making face when I started ordering my food and till the end. The other guy at the counter was not even willing to attend any customer who wasnt german.

Hier können KEINE Coupons eingelöst werden. Der Service war im allgemeinen eine Katastrophe und die sogenannte „Chefin“ reagiert nur mit einem Schulter Zucken bei nachfragen. Man sollte sich die Zeit nehmen und VOR der Sicherheitskontrolle zu McDonalds gehen.

It was a mess. Nothing was working as it should, everyone in front of me had something wrong or missing in their order, my order they completely forgot about and when I tried to tell them I got asked to wait… after 20 min i could not wait anymore and had to leave with out.

Tussenstop binnen gelopen voor een snelle hap. Nou heb ik van Burger King geen verwachtingen boven fast food niveau, maar dit was echt slecht. Bestel zuilen deden het niet, personeel echt chagrijnig, een paywall voor gebruik stopcontact om mobiel op te laden.

Had a cheese lover double burger which was quite filling for the price, served promptly and the burger was made fresh.

The burgers are pretty standard and not much rush at the restaurant. OK to visit for quick food, but need to improve on the service.

I was there waiting for my train the 16th of December around 12:00. No good or bad surprise regarding food but very unpleasant cashier not saying hello or thanks or just some nice word... disappointing

Not much to say here kept the water and left the chips and burger. Not worth the complaint to manager as I had a flight to catch. The role in the burger just fall apart not sure if it was defrosted badly before hand , the first bite of burger was just disgusting. Chips where cold and tasted very odd maybe the oil that was being used. Service was OK apart from the chips where put on the tray way to early as the burger was not ready, hence apart from the taste of them by the time I got to the table they where cold.

I ordered a whopper. The line was short and the food came quick. It was fine. Regular fast food. Nothing special.

They have one queue, rather than having a few for each counter; they take a few orders at a time and this meant the queue was moving quickly. It was conveniently close to our gate, this is located before the start of D.

If I was as bad at my job as the lady that served me, I hope I'd have the good sense to find a job that suited me better. Sometimes, a BK does the job just fine. I was hungry and short of time and I much prefer BK to McDonald's. So, I was pretty pleased when I spotted a BK airside at Frankfurt Airport. The menu is truncated but adequate and the food turned out to be standard BK quality - which is fine in my book. What I didn't like was the sour faced, ill tempered woman that served me. She was abrupt, discourteous and a very poor advert for the company. There's no possible excuse for unprovoked rudeness in a customer facing role.

This Fast Food Restaurant is conveniently located at the Frankfurt Airport in Terminal 2 - D Concourse Gate/Area: T2, Area D, Level 3. I have walk by this Burger King several times and never stopped to eat, until the morning of 10 April 2018. + This Burger King was open at 08:00 and I did NOT have to eat breakfast but could order lunch at 08:30. - Prices are about 1 Euro more than at my local Burger King. + However, the food at Burger King is always good, hot or cold as it should be, and the portions are always the same standard. + Hygiene: Very clean for an Airport Restaurant. + Menu: Easy to see and read lighted Menu Board behind the counter on the wall. + They accept cash and the EC Card. + They also accepted my Payback Card. Service: In the U.S. unlike McDonalds, Burger King has one waiting line, which everyone knows moves faster and more efficient, than 2 lines, 3 lines, etc. The one line moves in only one direction. One enters the line at one end of the counter, orders their food at the cash register, then moves down the counter to pick-up their order, and exits at the other end of the counter. This way one person can take the orders, while another is assembling the order, and while another order is being taken. The line moves more effective and quicker and requires list space, than 2 lines, 3 lines, etc. Plus, once you have your food you don’t have to fight your way back through the gaggle of people or up-stream to get to a table or to the exit the restaurant and get to your car. - In Germany, however, Burger King is set-up like McDonalds and you have all these bad disadvantages to deal with. The German Burger Kings have a line for every cash register and a small area for each line. And even though a cash register may look like it is open and state on the display it is open; there maybe nobody there to take your order. Plus, while one is waiting for their meal A), others cannot order, B) those that receive their food have to turn around and push their way thru the people waiting to order, C) because of the small area sometimes others in another line jump in front of you, because you are blocked from moving forward to order because you are letting others with their food get by and D) the multiple lines take up more space. Plus, culturally because Germans do not know how to stand in a line and instead stand in a gaggle, it is almost always hard for the order taker to know who is next. Plus, the order lines have a small space that is set-up in the walk areas; the same space where others have to pass through to get to their table, get to the straws and/or napkins, to exit the restaurant, etc. These problems are of a structural and process nature, and they will never be corrected until the structural design and processes are changed. + However, unlike other Burger Kings and McDonalds in Germany, at this Airport Burger King the Order Taker correctly took one order after another instead of taking and serving one order before taking the next order. + In other words, the waiting time to order was shorter and therefore customers received their food quicker. - Unfortunately, customers waiting for their food still stood near the counter and then reached over another people’s food to get to their order. + The order taker was also friendly. + I ordered a Whopper (Hamburger) with fries and a Coke Zero. + My Whopper was hot and the toppings (tomato, onions, pickles, etc.) were cool, as it should be. + My fries were also hot and my drink was cold, as it should be. - I was not asked if I want ice or no ice in my drink, which would have been better is such an international environment. + Environment: Lighting, loudness, and temperature in the Establishment were all OK. + Decorations: Simple color scheme with some Burger Kings ads. + Enough seating with both 2 and 4 person tables and booths. + I was provided with a receipt for my order when I asked for one. + Bathroom: I did not use the bathroom so I cannot report of them. I am not sure if the Burger King at the airport has its own bathrooms, anyway. There were however, airport bathrooms that I am sure were disabled accessible. + Disabled: Access to the Restaurant for the disabled is possible. There are no steps or other barriers to overcome for those in a wheel chair or with a walking disability in the Frankfurt Airport Terminal 2 - D Concourse Gate/Area: T2, Area D, Level 3. In Restaurant Wi-Fi: Did not use and cannot report on. - Internet Site: Only a General German Burger King Internet Site, all in German. Coupons come in the mail sometimes and sometimes not. However, one can also download them from the Internet or by app. If at the Frankfurt Airport in Terminal 2 - D Concourse Gate/Area: T2, Area D, Level 3 for a flight and hungry, I would eat at this Burger King again.

I had visited this restaurant and faced the worst service i ever had in Germany for over 10 years. So, I hoped to tell this bad situation and sought ship's manager. Surprisingly, Another staffs said that he who i met is manager of this restaurant. He criticized me why i could not listen his strong German style english far from standard english. and gave me the food i don't want and didn't give me a bill also. Instead of saying of price, He strongly pounded checkout counter. This is really bad manager also. If you are not confident to listen his German style english, It would be better to visit another restaurant. Otherwise, You will deeply be wounded by him. This restaurant is loacted in Terminal 2.
