Burger King in Bad Oeynhausen

So, after what felt like 100 years, my girlfriend and I went to Burger King for dinner. And what can I say? It was the last time for the next 100 years. The staff was overwhelmed. After 25 minutes, when we asked when we'd get our drinks, the employee got rude and said she couldn't see the order until our number was called. A customer who wanted a refund because it took too long was told they couldn't give refunds for credit card payments. When my girlfriend went to the front to ask if it would be much longer, she was told she'd see when it was her turn... This is the kind of place that deserves the name "fast food restaurant"...😏

The branch was understaffed, but the service was perfectly organized. Despite this, it took just over 10 minutes to reach the branch, which was only 40% full of customers. The food temperature was borderline acceptable, and I immediately addressed this with the staff.

A very nice Burger King; the renovation is excellent. Super fresh burgers. The unobstructed view into the kitchen is also a great feature.

We were there on Christmas Day 2025, it was freezing cold, it was awful, no, I avoid Burger King. The place is either old or cold. I was cold enough at my old job, that was enough, I only go to McDonald's now.

The food was somewhat tasty, but it's absolutely outrageous that you have to pay an extra €0.50 for a milkshake that's included in the meal deal and then isn't even made properly! My girlfriend ordered a strawberry milkshake and got a vanilla one. She went to the register and asked for a strawberry milkshake, and they told her it was a strawberry milkshake. Only after some arguing did the employee throw the strawberry milkshake away and make a vanilla milkshake with strawberry sauce. That's truly unacceptable. I'm never coming back!

Three other people were sitting in the restaurant, and yet we still had to wait about 15 minutes for our food, which was then lukewarm and dry! The staff were loudly gossiping about customers and colleagues. They just stood around instead of cleaning the dirty tables. Awful.

Of course, they don't set the prices, but I thought it was relatively expensive. There was no regular toilet. They did have a toilet/changing room for people with disabilities. But it was very dirty and smelly. I dried my hands with my pants because there were no more wipes. The staff were very friendly.

Today, November 23, 2025, at 5:45 PM, I ate at Burger King Werre Park on Mindener Straße. It wasn't heated; it felt really cold, like 5 degrees Celsius. The meal cost €42 for two people! The food was absolutely cold; not even the cheese was melted—almost inedible! The fries were okay. All the tables were dirty. I wanted to complain, but I waited, and no one helped me. I solemnly swear that I will never set foot in Burger King again, anywhere in the world.

The thing is with Burger King that the burgers are ALL very tasty, better than McDonalds. But..... they are more expensive than McDonalds. 2 burgers, pommes and onions rings for €24! Too much.

Bad Oeynhausen, Saturday night at midnight. So many orders ahead of me, yet everything went quickly and smoothly. Wow, what a great team! I'm absolutely thrilled. It ran like clockwork. Keep up the good work with employees like these and it will be the best Burger King in the area.

One star is still too generous for our visit on Monday evening at 9:30 pm... The tables were absolutely sticky and filthy, and the garbage trucks were overflowing. And all this at those exorbitant prices...

Burger King, are you kidding us? We waited 40 minutes for the food, and our order was incomplete. The tables weren't wiped down once. Paid €35 ​​for two adults and a child. A burger meal for over €13 with a tiny burger? Really? Bottom line: Went home hungry. Never again Burger King! Boycott this chain until the burgers are reasonable sizes again!

I can't really say what went wrong, but having to wait 20 minutes for your standard meal (I don't mean extras or options) in a nearly empty Burger King isn't exactly great. The two employees responsible for packing preferred to stand around and talk and pack one burger at a time.

Caution, there is a risk to life! The staff provided false information about allergens and preparation. A simple question, "Are ONLY the fries made in the French fryer?", was answered with a yes. What may seem unimportant to the uninformed is vital to me. I have celiac disease, which is why I cannot eat gluten under any circumstances. By chance, I saw the curly hair on top of the fryer, which is why I realized for myself that the employee's answer was completely wrong! That would have had serious consequences for me! Finally train your staff!!! This is about other people's health.

I never usually write bad reviews but this time I've had enough! I was at the drive-thru today and wanted to order something using the app. I was supposed to drive up. Then I waited in line for 15 minutes without having ordered any food! When I showed the employee the app with the QR code, which all the employees before me had always scanned, he told me my order was wrong and that I would then have to pay. I said that he would have to scan the QR code so he could see my order. It's that simple. He didn't say anything, turned around and didn't come back to the window for 10 minutes. The whole time he was talking to the other employees or standing around. I can understand that you're pressed for time but there were hardly any customers in the store! So I waited 30 minutes for no reason and then drove away because the employee didn't come back to the window. All of them were incompetent. What a shame! Although I like the vegetarian dishes.

Not really. You wait forever for your food (it's a fast-food restaurant!), then get lukewarm fries, which you eat at a dirty table. The service is rather disinterested. There's no need to talk about the cleanliness of the restrooms, the availability of soap, etc. The staff probably thinks so too. After the renovation, things have improved considerably at Burger King Bad Oeynhausen. Even the Coca-Cola tasted good again. The burger menu was tidy and good. The dining area has been redesigned to be bright and friendly. The restrooms are clean and tidy. I particularly liked the way the burgers and Coke were printed so that you knew what you were getting. This also ensures guest satisfaction.

I ordered an iced coffee and only got ice cubes. And the wait time was 45 minutes for an iced coffee, never again.

The food tastes bad, it just gives you a stomach ache! The people working at the McDrive can't even open their mouths to speak properly. You can't even understand half of what they're saying, and you have to spell every word out so they can understand it. And as if that wasn't enough, I just paid €70 and half the food was missing... definitely the first and last time we eat there!!!

We like using the drive-thru here and always receive very friendly service, especially from Ms. Gruber. The order is accurate and the food is good, especially since they also offer some vegetarian options. We highly recommend it.

I went to Burger King a few times after shopping at Werrepark, and everything was fine. Orders took a little longer, and once a burger was missing, but I got it after asking. What's annoying is that you can't see which orders are ready from above, so you always have to wait downstairs.

Under normal operating conditions, it takes 23 minutes to make two cheeseburgers here... and unfortunately, this was no exception! My car was charged faster outside!

Unfortunately, since the reopening, you can no longer redeem vouchers from the app, which makes Burger King in Bad Oeynhausen less appealing to me. I'd rather go to Lecker Krecker or Teigwerk in the future, where you get more for your money.

For years, I've been served by the same great employee at Burger King (G.), and I'm always happy when I see her. She's incredibly personable, friendly, and always has a smile on her face. What sets her apart is her commitment. She always puts in a lot of effort, working quickly yet with great care. I would also like to commend the entire team; everyone is friendly, attentive, and helpful. No matter how busy it is, you're always treated with respect and a smile. Even in stressful moments, she remains calm, polite, and helpful. You rarely see so much heart and dedication in the restaurant industry these days! Burger King can be proud to have such a dedicated employee on its team!

So far, the service at BK has been truly underwhelming. But I wanted to give the location another chance today (June 16, 2025), as part of the much-heralded reopening. At 3:30 p.m., you're greeted in front of the building by an unfriendly employee without a greeting and with the words: "We're not open yet." The little tortilla beef thing costs up to €9 individually without a menu. that's an impudence. So-called tortilla bread tastes like cheap dürum or just a wrap.
