Buon Gusto in Wiesbaden

A top address if you want good Italian food.

Today we ate at Buon Gusto in Wiesbaden-Bierstadt. The food and service were outstanding! All requests were responded to perfectly. We will come back! Highly recommended!

Went to Bierstadt specifically on May 22, 2024. After the restaurant moved there from Sonnenbergerstrasse. The rooms and the whole ambience are not my taste. But the food was extremely good. Today we had the 3 course lunch for €24 each. Starters selection soup or capaccio or vitello tonato. Main course fillet tips with homemade gnocchi or fish. Dessert strawberry tiramisu.

Very unfriendly boss. The employee was nice and friendly. The boss makes a distinction between regular guests and "normal guests". We were all very disappointed. Can't recommend the Reststaurante.

The food was barely enough for the hollow tooth. Completely overpriced. Regulars were courted and treated like royalty, given several small appetizers. We were only served a few dry slices of bread without herb butter, although there was a small starter plate with a butter knife on the table. The service... well, artificial friendliness. Once and never again. Hospitality looks different.

Unfortunately, the very good food is spoiled by harsh and arrogant service. Otherwise a tastefully decorated small restaurant.

It is difficult to reserve a table there. You call and are told in broken German that you should call again in 10 minutes when the boss is there. No sooner said than done, but still no boss. The restaurant is very nice and stylistically renovated. The ventilation could be better. When the outside temperature was 23 degrees, it was very stuffy. Ordering took a long time. The menu was given, but we couldn't order drinks yet because the waitress immediately disappeared. She also spoke really bad German. We partly misunderstood him. The soups were quite good. The main course was very different. While the salmon was really good, my pasta needed to cook for at least another 2-3 minutes. You could eat it, but we're used to something different given the price category. After dessert, the service staff cleared away quickly and didn't give us the opportunity to order another coffee. She also didn't come back for over 10 minutes. We then wanted to pay, but the waitress had disappeared into the kitchen. We basically had to run after her. The boss then brought the bill, but immediately ran away again, so we couldn't pay by card. Since no one came back, we had to go to the counter ourselves and ask for the card reader. The waitress then came to me at the counter, chewing. You cannot give tips via EC. Since we didn't have any cash with us, we couldn't leave a tip. We would have done so just out of politeness and not because we were happy with the service. We won't be back as the food doesn't match the prices and doesn't make up for the poor service

Spent a very nice evening here for my parents' birthday. We were particularly impressed by the fish dishes. Happy to come back!

Perfect all around! Very tasty food, whether meat, fish or homemade pasta. The staff is friendly and accommodating at the highest level, making you feel completely comfortable. But nothing else can be expected, given the commendable commitment of the landlady, who always warmly welcomes the guests. We have been visiting the Buon Gusto team for years, even before the move in Sonnenberger Str, and are still very satisfied to this day. Due to the modern ambience in the new building, the entire area inside also looks great. All in all, as it should be, we like to spend time here regularly and the distance of 50 kilometers is not too far for us. Thank you!

Very very unfriendly staff. I have something I asked for olive oil and the waiter refused it, saying I hadn't ordered a main course.

Wonderful - the change of location didn't change the “buon gusto”. The food 🥘 is still very good. Small, fine ristorante furnished with a lot of charm. When it gets crowded, it might be too loud for some people, but somehow part of “Italian cuisine” is that you converse with gesticulations and live the bela vita. And you either like the Espositos or you don’t, I “like both” a lot. I've never had a bad meal there and with a bit of charm you can make the boss smile, even in a full restaurant. Big praise and thanks for being back - especially despite turbulent times 🫶

Hervorragendes Essen, guter Service

For the evening I apologized to my non-local friend for the fact that we had such unfriendly hosts and, without having ever visited the restaurant before, I had the feeling of “putting down every fork is too much for us & you want a wine with only 0, Order 1 liter (how dare you??) and get it. There's a much friendlier way to do this, especially if it's Saturday and you love your calling. A pity. Based on the Google reviews, we assumed a different “feel-good atmosphere”.

Stammgäste werden sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen. Als neuer Gast, bekommt man nur wenig davon zu spüren. Das essen war sehr gut. Das kann ich für den Restaurant-Leiter nicht bestätigen

The food was delicious, as was the dine in experience, after we was seated. The take out looks different: They moved to a new location, but still have the old menu online(havent updated nor deleted it). Which a customer cant know, so when your not dinning in, but call to take out: you are told to call the pizzeria next door; wenn you insist you want the take out from the restaurant, they tell you its an old menu in a not so polite tone, as if it was common knowledge...

Toller Abend im Esposito. Super gegessen, tolle Atmosphäre. Das Esposito ist eine Bereicherung für das nicht gerade mit guten Lokalen gesegnete Bierstadt!

Sehr gute Küche, schönes Ambiente. Klein aber fein, absolut zu empfehlen.

Extrem lecker und qualitativ extrem gut, das erfordert seinen Preis. Durchaus ein eher teureres Restaurant. Der Preis ist es aber definitiv wert. Das Ambiente ist toll, der Service excellent und die Inhaber sehr freundlich.

Ganz hervorragendes Essen,sehr gemütliches Restaurant und fröhlicher, kompetenter Service. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Das Essen war gut,vielleicht etwas wenig aber ok.Hatten eine schöne Zeit nur der Chef meinte er wäre etwas besseres.Versuchte witzig zu sein doch das ging daneben.War unhöflich und nicht nett.Fakemensch!Kunde ist der König und sollte immer die freundlich und gut behandeln.Sowas geht mal gar nicht und ist nicht akzeptabel!Schliesslich zahlen die Gäste!!!

Auf der Durchreise auf diese Juwel gestoßen. Hervorragende Küche und ein besonders aufmerksamer Service ohne Aufdringlichkeit. Es war mir eine Freude, hier Gast zu sein!

Schönes Ambiente, hervorragendes Essen sowie aufmerksame und ausgesprochen freundliche Servicekräfte. Die Preise sind im Vergleich zu anderen italienischen Restaurants gewiss höher, aber angemessen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Vrrhälnis stimmt.

Wir waren gestern Abend zu unserem Ehrentag da gewesen. Schönes Ambiente, Gemütliche Atmosphäre, eine nette und sehr Freundliche Bedienung, ein freundliches Küchenpersonal, auch die Inhaber waren super freundlich, das Essen ist super Lecker. Die Auswahl der Menüs spricht einen sofort an. Die Preise Passen. Alles in allem ein Sehr gutes Restaurant wo ich wirklich nur Empfehlen kann und wir auch jederzeit wieder Besuchen werden. Top.

Das ist schon ein italienisches Restaurant der gehobenen Klasse. Sowohl was das edle Ambiente wie die ambitionierte Küche betrifft. Hier scheint sich frischer Fisch besonders wohl zu fühlen. Wobei die Betonung wirklich auf "frisch" liegt. Zum Beispiel: Filets vom Babysteinbutt und Wolfsbarsch mit Meeresfrüchten in feiner Kräutersauce mit Pasta Napoletana. Ein ganz wundervolles Fischgericht. Und für 26,50 für diese Qualität mit durchaus moderatem Preis. Abgeschlossen wurde dieser Besuch mit einer wunderbaren Zabaglione mit Waldfrüchten. Unbedingt zum Wiederkommen!

This is absolutely one of the best places to eat seafood we had the most tender octopus authentic calamari are to die for. I also ate their calf liver and was not disappointed. We travelled all over Italy and have been to many Italian restaurants all over Germany so we know a lot about good food they can compete with the best.

Gestern Abend war das Essen das Highlight der Woche, so geht italienische Küche. Perfektes Ambiente & Bedienung! Vielen Dank

Etwas abseits der Innenstadt in einem Wohngebiet gelegen ist dies ein "Italiener um die Ecke" der Extraklasse. Ohne gekünstelt zu sein und ohne Schickimicki wird hier auf exzellentem Niveau traditionelle italienische Küche geboten. Das angebotene Amuse Bouche macht sofort Appetit auf mehr. Bei der Vorspeise waren die lauwarmen Calamari und Pulpi weich, wie man sie sonst nur in Italien in guten Fischrestaurants bekommt. Die Kalbsbäckchen überfielen zart in einer glänzend-samtigen Sauce. Eine perfekt zubereitete Zabaione Schloss das Essen. Müßig zu erwähnen, dass das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam ist. Perfekt!

Sehr schmackhafte italienische Küche mit ruhiger, stilvoller Dachterrasse. Mittags tolle Menüs zum Selbstkombinieren. Top tip in Wiesbaden!
