I've eaten a lot of doner kebab in other places in Germany, including in the new famous chain stores... The doner kebab here is very good and the portions are big. I think it's worth the money, especially the phyllo wrap is very good. They make two and a half iskender in Turkey, depending on the amount of doner kebab they put in it...

Best kebab I’ve ever had in my life! Falafel was amazing and service was excellent. Would highly recommend for a snack or meal.

Meat was taken out of a container and not freshly cut off the skewer. The meat smelled terrible and tasted rotten, and after one bite the kebab ended up in the trash can. I advise the Cologne Health Department to take a closer look at this store. I'll report this. I advise everyone to eat here.

Anti-queer and disrespectful I was there during the CSD and ordered food. While I was still waiting for my food 1 m in front of the counter, I saw the falafel balls being thrown into the frying pan and the workers finding it funny; Rather, in our presence (there were 2 guests standing in front of the counter) comments were made about other customers with the words "They're just not my customers". You don't always have to agree and think everything is good, but you should remain professional in front of customers and not comment on guests or even be discriminatory. In one word: tolerance. In my opinion it doesn't work at all. If I were in charge, I would take a close look at my workforce and prohibit any discrimination.

We stopped in for a late night bite. My wife had the currywurst and fries, while I just had an order of fries. The fries were crisp and hot. They were a little over-salted, but still very good. The currywurst was cooked well and seasoned well, but a previous spot set the bar pretty high for this dish. The staff member was friendly. This place certainly outperformed it's current overall rating. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

The food is pretty standard to what is served in similar restaurants, but the portions are smaller with respect to the price.

Very unfriendly staff, how derogatory communication is made about you as a customer because you enjoyed a beer next door! Anyone who welcomes their customers like this should consider whether they are in the right place in the catering industry! Strongly discouraged!

Unfortunately the store is a complete disgrace. We didn't have much time, so for once I didn't check the reviews beforehand and we primarily wanted to watch football at the shop next door. I have never experienced such poor value for money. Lahmacun super small, not fresh, little meat - 10€. Absolute impudence, never again!

Absolute disgrace. Not cutting the meat fresh and serving it cold should be checked by the health department. The extremely expensive prices (10€ for a mini Turkish pizza) give you the rest. Go somewhere else. I also don't fully understand not offering toilets despite serving alcohol and a capacity of more than 50 people

Absolutely enjoyed eating the Yufka Döner Wraps (mit Salat) it was very tasty and packed with fresh ingredients. The beef was also seasoned and cooked well. It was so good I had to go back to Alter Markt for another one!

It was pretty quick, but maybe the pizza would have been better left in the oven longer. The salad on the kebab plate or falafel plate had no dressing, the fries were bland. Unfortunately not recommended.

We were very hungry and didn't know our way around, that was our mistake. We were given a pager and told to wait at the table. At some point we were rudely called to come and get the food. When I pointed out that the device wasn't working, the unfriendly gentleman snapped at me and said that I had probably turned it off. 😡 About the food: Some of the kebab meat was almost raw, the fries were cold, the sauce was only reddish but had no taste. How you manage to keep the salad so neutral and tasteless is almost an art. It's a shame that we could have invested a lot of money better.

Unfortunately really not good. The kebab and Böreck are extremely dry and disappointing.

So 8€ for such a mini kebab is pretty cheeky. There was also almost no sauce on it and the taste was rather disappointing. All in all very disappointing!

I can't recommend the store to you. Service was poor and inattentive. First of all, the private conversations were ended before anyone spoke to me, after I asked a question twice. I can't recommend pom kebab under any circumstances, fries were soggy, meat was very dry and there was everything in sauce, but no tzatziki or cocktail.

We took spinach/cheese börek with us for 5.50 euros each. Absolutely bad taste or no taste at all! Never “tried” a worse Börek, three quarters of it was thrown away.

Really by far the worst kebab I've ever eaten, catastrophe, the sauce is simply ketchup diluted with water, the meat is almost completely raw, every bit of cartilage, the "BREAD" used is absolute bodily harm, I would rather eat a cardboard box with ketchup, I'm seriously wondering how something so horrible can last longer than a week. Ever since I ate this kebab, I've had this terrible taste in my head, coupled with several panic attacks a day, I really don't know if I can get over this taste can ever recover. Dear fellow human beings please don't make the same mistake, stay away from this horrible local thing before you spend 10 euros on a torture you can't imagine, I wish I could erase this experience from my mind...

23 o'clock. Italian shop that sells kebabs. Doner kebab tastes like foot, meat has less flavor than salad, sauce is ketchup like water.

Currywurst was very, very pale, was barely fried... it doesn't work at all. Fries ok. Fortunately, when using the women's toilet, you have temporary tissues with you... because there is a yawning emptiness there. I kindly pointed this out to the male employee, but judging by his reaction, he didn't care and my request was rather annoying. It's really an absurdity to expect toilet paper on a toilet.

I think the boss is racist. Yesterday, I visited this restaurant with my family. After order, we asked where is toilet? He don't tell us, but raised his head. He ignored us.

Bad customer treatment. They try to scam you by saying that they don't have a POS to charge by card. They change the price if they see you foreign or insecure or drunk. Too bad, these people should work somewhere else.

Drunkenly bought a kebab at 12 o'clock at night. Actually, everything tastes great when drunk, but here you get a kebab with ketchup and mayo. So far the nastiest kebab I've ever eaten. We were hoping to communicate in Turkish or English. The employee was Kurdish. He did not speak Turkish, but the doner pizza was very good, the place was clean. We paid 80 units for about 5 people, of course, including drinks and so on.

This was the perfect place to sit down and relax. After a long day of walking, we wanted something quick and cheap. You can choose between chicken or beef for the meat. We got the doner Pomm with chicken which was just the meat and fries. I’m used to it with toppings as well (lettuce, tomato, cabbage, etc), so that was a little bit of a let down. It was also pretty salty, so some slaw or lettuce would’ve helped cut the salt. It was very chaotic but a good price for the middle of cologne.

Hic hosuma gitmeyen sey ise, 2 patates ve salatali doner tabak + 2 icecek (cola, sprite) aldik, 29 euro odedik. Orada aklim daginik oldugu icin soramadim fakat buyuk ihtimalle anlasamadigimiz icin kazik yedim. Belki hesap dogrudur fakat degilse, hos degil. (always verify the total price while paying in this restaurant)

Absolute unfriendly staff. Just because we were with a few friends that were clearly tourists, we couldn’t pay with card. They said that only cash payments were possible. A few minutes afterwards we literally saw a man pay with his card. Don’t go here!!!

Lieber verhungern, statt da essen!!! Die Mitarbeiter total unfreundlich. Meine Begleitung und ich haben uns je einen Döner gekauft. Meine Begleitung, wollte seinen Döner ohne Zwiebel, musste es 4x erwähnen und hat trotzdem auf seinen Döner Zwiebel bekommen. Bei mir kam ein dummer Spruch: ich sollte besser keine Zwiebel nehmen (als ich meinen Döner mit Zwiebel wollte). Unverschämtes Verhalten!

Dieser Döner hat mir inneren Frieden gebracht und mich kurz alle Probleme auf dieser Welt vergessen lassen. Jeder Bissen war ein vollkommener Moment und jeder sollte ein Grundrecht erhalten, diesen Döner zu kosten.

Habe mir nen Döner besorgt, welcher im hausgemachten Brot serviert wird. Ich finde die Portion völlig ausreichend, das Fleisch schmeckt, und die Beilagen sind frisch. Gerne wieder :)

Super Service und Organisation, unheimlich freundlich. Wir waren mit einer Gruppe taiwanische Schüler hier. Wir wurden super schnell bedient und das Team spricht Englisch. Dazu noch das schöne Ambiente auf dem Altermarkt 🤩!

Haben am 18l8/23 mit 6 Personen vor Ort gegessen. Pizzen waren Ok Döner u Döner Teller überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen.

Nachdem wir einen Kneipenbummel in Köln gemacht haben, mussten wir irgendwann eine Kleinigkeit essen und es gab Döner. Es war Selbstbedienung, aber das störte uns nicht. Wir hatten noch einen Sitzplatz bekommen. Der Döner war lecker.

ACHTUNG: ABZOCKE!! Eine empfohlene Marketingmaßnahme wäre „Kleinster Döner der Welt, hier werden nichtmal 6-jährige satt“. Soße komplett geschmacksneutral (ja, dass muss man erstmal schaffen), Fleisch war kaum drauf… satt wird niemand - interessiert hier aber keinen, weil es reine Touristenabzocke ist. Nochmal geht hier niemand her… An der Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter liegt es jedenfalls nicht - die gar nicht vorhanden.

Ordered the doner salad and pizza. The receipt says fries, but clearly I didn’t get fries , they don’t speak English and made something up that I don’t understand and still didn’t give me the fries. It says 7,50 euro but I was charged 10,50 euro. Very sneaky.

Direkt am Alter Markt mit schönen Aussenbereich. Man wird freundlich 😊 und schnell bedient. Das Essen ist lecker 😋. Toilette 🚽 leider nicht benötigt daher weiß nicht. Sitzgelegenheiten für Behinderte vorhanden Eingang auch gut. Wer Döner 🥙 +mehr mag sollte hier vorbei schauen. Gruß aus dem Bergischen.
