I/we were at Bugaz in Dinslaken and had an Iskender (sausage stew). It was extremely tasty, the meat was tender, and the sauce was truly aromatic. I would especially like to highlight the service. Hadjar served us, and she was simply fantastic: friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. You can immediately tell that she wants to make her guests' stay as pleasant as possible. Hadjar made me feel especially welcome here. The value for money is also excellent, so I definitely recommend it!

Shameful short visit! I complained about a to-go doner kebab because it was simply cold. The meat was the scraped-together leftovers from the pile that had already been cut when I came in. There were three people in front of me. When I actually came back and complained, the cashier said very indiscreetly, "That can't be right - but I'm not saying anything!" And shouted across the store!! Well, I then realized that rice from a lukewarm display couldn't possibly be hot. But never mind! But what really annoyed me was that the waitress then insisted twice that I try the steaming meat over the counter in front of everyone. With my teeth? With my hands? I have no idea!!!! For me, it was more quantity, cash register - and less quality.

10/10 Jan should get a pay raise

Never eaten so badly!!! They keep charging higher and higher prices, so be careful! Tzatziki is just plain water with no flavor! Lahmacun is greasy. It came out red because it was so greasy. The kebab is burnt! They always forget something. This is enough for the second time. That's it, I'll never be back!

Today I spent 30 euros and wasn't full! The lahmacun was very cold and not at all tasty; they keep forgetting the sauce for my fries! The cacik was also very runny; my clothes got covered in cacik because it was dripping all the time. Above all, the employees are very unfriendly, as if they don't want to work! I've been a regular customer here for a long time and I'm never going back! I don't know if it's the new employees, but just 3 months ago it was very good. And the wait time feels like 10 hours!!!!

The kebab was really dry (no sauce), even though we ordered two. They also charged for an extra dish that wasn't even there.

I had to throw away the kebab. From the meat to the cheese to the red cabbage (probably from a jar), everything smelled and tasted completely rotten. You won't see me again.

I think the service has deteriorated. But it's like that everywhere these days. The Gen Z ladies, in particular, don't even look you in the eye when ordering. The guys, on the other hand, are very nice. Hence, 2 points for service. I'll visit the store again next year and update my review.

The food and service are great, the manager is incredibly nice. However, as a non-Turkish person, I often feel like I have to wait significantly longer for service than Turkish people. Update: One year later. Things have gotten worse. Today we got up after 50 minutes, paid for our drinks, and left. People at three tables next to us were getting ready, new people arrived, and everyone got their food before us, and after a short time. I don't think so. Therefore, down from 5 to 3 stars.

I come here very often, mostly on weekends. The food is very good and plentiful. Even when the place is busy, orders are usually delivered very quickly. Now here's the thing... I was here last week during the week. A new employee was there for me, or rather, I saw him for the first time. His motivation was apparently on vacation. I felt really sorry for his colleagues, because apart from delegating, he didn't do anything. On top of that, he was lounging at the counter and repeatedly encouraging his colleagues with the words... "Hey, hey, this has to go faster, we're going to get through this, I'm fed up!" Which is something you really don't like to hear as a customer. But, unfortunately, nothing happened. A waiter (with blond curls) who overheard this asked very nicely if we had all ordered yet. Even another waitress asked, "Oh, Harun, what's going on?" The answer came promptly... Harun replied, "I'm fed up with this." Great strength!!!!!!!! The cashier apologized, even though she hadn't done anything wrong. And it felt like all the other 20 employees were great. Dear team, keep up the good work.

The chicken doner and salatdürüm were standard and nothing special. Unfortunately, it was very crowded, which made the atmosphere quite loud. However, when it's quieter, you can sit comfortably there. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. The doner plates looked pretty good.

We've eaten at this Turkish restaurant several times and always opted for the Bugaz plate. Unfortunately, it's always more expensive. The price is quite steep at €24.90. This time I switched to the falafel turnover and was rather disappointed, as it was very dry. Turkish tea was complimentary.

The food tasted great, but the service was a bit difficult due to language barriers... things were delivered that weren't ordered, and things that were ordered were forgotten. Important for allergy sufferers: I ordered a kebab with only meat, but a kebab with everything arrived. Instead of remaking the kebab, they simply removed all the meat, leaving both trace elements and the flavor intact, and unfortunately, half the kebab was still uneatable. It's unfortunate, but otherwise a great experience.

I ate there not once, but several times, just to be able to report on the service and food. First visit, the food was great, friendly, what more could you want? Second visit, just like the first, everything was great. Third visit, the food wasn't served properly; what we ordered didn't arrive; the Kalem Börek were drenched in fat, which you could really taste. Tzatziki was tasteless. The doner meat was cold and much too light. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I hope it will be better next time. Everyone there is really friendly, and you're served promptly. (sometimes a bit too hasty; you want to take your time to see what you want and not have someone at your table twice to take your order.) I highly recommend the Chicken Sis and the Shashlik. The ambiance is also very nice and clean.

Simply not crowded. Disorganized order taking. The wait is incredibly long. Leftover food on the floor. A look at the salad bar? Something might spill occasionally, but it's probably only cleaned at the end of the day. But the food is still delicious.

I was here for the first time. We immediately found a place outside. It was very well attended, which I can totally understand. Shortly after we sat down we were served. After we had chosen, the side salad as well as fresh bread and various pastes arrived. After a short wait our food arrived. Since I like to try everything, I took the Bugaz plate. Everything on this plate is highly recommended. The meat was extremely tender and delicious. I also found it very nice that the owner himself came to every table and wished everyone bon appetit. So I can recommend everyone to have a very enjoyable meal here.

I'm a regular here. Yes, at first impression, it's just a kebab shop with a few tables inside. But..... There is a daily breakfast buffet in addition to the normal offering. From rolls to salads and warm dishes, everyone can find something they like. You can also have scrambled eggs made to order. My favorite is with cheese and onions. All accompanied by staff who treat you as if you were a friend of the family. Just great. It is also highly recommended in the afternoon. All of my friends that I took there were also very impressed and have been visiting Bugaz ever since.

Dear Bugaz team, I have been a loyal regular customer of yours for over 30 years and have always been absolutely satisfied - today I even visited you twice. Unfortunately, I have to tell you about an incident that really disappointed me. On my first visit, I picked up something for my family as usual - everything was quick, friendly and the kebab meat was fresh and delicious, as you know it from. On the second visit I wanted to treat myself as I hadn't eaten anything during the day due to fasting. The service was the same as before. Unfortunately, this time the experience was significantly worse. The first thing I noticed was that the Dürüm bread was not homemade as usual, but one of those ready-made products that you can buy in packs of 16 or 32 in the supermarket. That alone would have been bearable. But what really bothered me was the way the meat was handled: The skewer was halfway well seared and ready to cut. Still, the meat for the orders in front of me wasn't taken directly from the spit. Instead, a plate was used each time, which lay on a pot, which in turn stood on the tray to catch the falling kebab meat. The freshly cut meat was first placed on this plate and from there distributed among the respective dishes - so it was stored temporarily. When this plate was empty when I ordered, the employee didn't just take new meat from the spit. Instead, the plate was put aside, the pot underneath was tilted slightly, and the leftover meat was fished out of the pot with tongs - it was exactly these leftovers that ended up in my Dürüm. In my opinion that doesn't work at all. My Dürüm was just cold! Normally I would have said right then and there that I didn't want that. But since I was fasting, I simply didn't have the strength or patience to get upset or have a discussion. I just wanted to eat something and not stress. In the future, I will think twice about getting something from you again - unless my family specifically asks for it. I really hope that you take this feedback as constructive criticism. As I said, I have always been happy with you over the years, so this incident really surprised and annoyed me. Thank you for your understanding!

It can't be, I come into this shop, order that shitty kebab for 12 euros, the bread wasn't in the toaster for 20 seconds and the kebab was cold... I came to you for 25 years... I'll never do that to myself again...

Still one of the best Turkish quick service restaurants! It impresses with traditional cuisine at the highest level. Thanks to the high throughput, everything is always extremely fresh, which you can taste in every bite. The quality of the food – whether taken away or served directly on site – is outstanding. The friendly service is particularly noteworthy. Despite the crowds, the service is quick and courteous. Absolutely recommended! The level has remained consistently high for years - and continues to rise, just like the constant growth of the house. Highly recommended!

The doner kebabs with bread are very good, but the doner tella is not good at all. It was 65% rice and 35% meat, it didn't taste good at all. There was more meat in the doner bread, and 14 Euros is too much.

The kebab always tasted very good, but now the staff is very unfriendly and not clean. They simply took down the Lachman that was on the floor and picked it up and put meat in it and then put the Lachman on the counter and where they couldn't find the customer anymore. That was me, they simply took out the meat and lettuce and simply put it back in the package even though it was on the bottom and lettuce. It's just terrible, I wouldn't recommend it. 🤮🤮🤮
