Prices have risen and quality has declined significantly, as has the selection. What a pity.

The selection is plentiful and tastes the same. The service is fast and attentive. I find the noise and screaming of the children a disadvantage. On the table are A4 pages with regulations for moderate handling of the food and a guide for the guests' stay, staggered by the number of people. Why doesn't this also apply to parents who let their children run around the restaurant? Whose children climb on the artificial figures? A pleasant experience looks different!

It's totally clear the food actually tastes good

The buffet leaves nothing to be desired. You feel like you're in paradise. Highly recommended. Worth every cent.

A very extensive buffet with many options and the option to have your own creations cooked with three sauces. There's also a good selection of sushi and other dishes. Last but not least, the ice cream machine, which simply produces soft-serve ice cream, is very, very tasty and very good. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth it. The best part, of course, is the many halal options, which are clearly marked and also come with certificates. Masallah Alhamdulillah.

I go to the Chinese lunch buffet several times a week. It's affordable, has a large selection, is delicious, and is quick. It's great value for money. I definitely recommend it!

It's simply a fantastic experience to eat there. The food was simply amazing. The service was very attentive, especially the young gentleman who was happy to help with any questions and had a pleasant, friendly demeanor. The ambiance is simply beautiful, with the gorgeous terracotta figures and all the decorations. I would definitely go back.

We held our company party there today and were absolutely thrilled. The food was delicious and served at a pleasant temperature.

We went 4 adults with 3 small children aged 1.5 years and they charged us 6.5€ PER BABY for something they didn't eat. NECESSARY, I have nothing else to add, and obviously they didn't inform us at the entrance.

It's a very loud place due to the very tight space. Unfortunately, this is the biggest downside of this place... the food is tasty, but the quality feels inferior compared to other places of this type (especially the meat, prepared to order by the chefs, is often rubbery). The biggest plus of this place is the decor, which is truly atmospheric. Without a reservation during peak hours I would advise against going there.

I actually go here often to eat, it tastes delicious except for the meat and the Chinese waitress with short black hair complains at us and says we have to eat the food. We asked if we could pack it up and she said no, otherwise we would have to pay a fine. Then she started complaining loudly to the people at the table next to us so that we could hear it. That was the last time we came for the time being.

It's not for me. It's more like a large hall. Very loud. The very large buffet makes everything seem very hectic. A plus is that you can have dishes freshly prepared. Otherwise, I prefer an a la carte restaurant.

Only because the iced tea arrived after 10 minutes, otherwise this restaurant No matter the occasion, left a very good impression, and we keep coming back. The food is varied. (If it weren't for the iced tea, it would be 5 stars.)

We ate at the Royal Garden again... half an hour after opening... Unfortunately, the food gets worse each time... The food is cold, refills are sporadically available, and the taste has also deteriorated...

Food was pretty tasty for buffet (didn't wanna have too much expectations) though lacked variety. But overall, value for money and service was great. I would revisit if I was in the area and wanna fill my belly with low budget :)

I strongly advise against it. The food is bland, and the vegetables are cooked terribly. And be careful with the water, because it costs 7 euros.

I am disappointed. The waitress rudely forced us to buy drinks that were very expensive and we did not intend to buy them. My family budget was not designed for this. And in the end she made my 10 year old daughter pay the full price of the buffet, although she is much shorter than 140 cm. I think it is unfair that my 10 year old daughter should pay the same as the man at the next table who weighs more than 90 kg.

I strongly advise against giving 0 stars. The food is bland, lukewarm, and has strange flavors. Pay attention to the time because if you arrive at 9:15 PM, you only have 20 minutes for the buffet, even though the restaurant closes at 11 PM.

We were at the Royal Garden with two adults and one child – attracted by the idea of a lavish buffet with an Asian touch and the promise of a relaxed family evening. Positive: • The buffet was plentiful – if you come really hungry, you'll definitely be full. • The service was friendly and visibly attentive, even if they struggled with the sheer number of guests (and their empty plates). But then… • The quality of the food was more in line with what you'd expect from a cheap all-you-can-eat restaurant. Mediocre, neither particularly bad nor really good – just solid, but overall disappointing for over €95. • The crowd… let's say casual would be an understatement. Slippers, undershirts, and a background noise like a train station concourse. You might find that charming – but you don't have to. Unfortunately, there wasn't much of the "Royal" in the name. • Overall atmosphere: loud, hectic activity at the buffet, no trace of peace or enjoyment. More of a "get full and get out quickly" feeling. Conclusion: For what's on offer, the price of more than €95, including three drinks, isn't justified in our opinion. 11-year-olds can barely manage two plates full of vegetables and pay full price. Anyone who just wants to eat a lot and doesn't have high expectations regarding ambiance or dining culture will probably be satisfied here. The restaurant is certainly not to blame for the trashy clientele, which I regret.

The atmosphere there is changeable but still quite pleasant! The food is always delicious, and you can enjoy it as much as you like. I especially love the buffet where you can help yourself to as much as you like or have meat roasted. I always leave satisfied and full after a visit, but it's especially nice to see how friendly the people are there. :) The staff there are very polite, and that's why I like to eat there every now and then because it's generally so pleasant to sit there and enjoy the food in peace. I like to go here with my family for my birthday. Please let this restaurant continue for many more wonderful years. I enjoy going here on holidays, too, even when it's busy. But everyone there is really nice and friendly.

I was disappointed. I expected something different. It's difficult for me to rate this place because it really depends on each individual's priorities. I expected a much larger selection, much larger. Sure, you can find something and you'll be full, but I like to try lots of different things at the buffet. My male companions, on the other hand, liked it because they offered salmon, among other things, and a huge selection of sushi, which isn't often the case in other comparable restaurants. There was also a soft-serve ice cream machine, which in itself is quite nice and unique, but other restaurants often have a chocolate fountain and an ice cream bar with several different flavors. I didn't think the dessert selection was very good either; it's always store-bought frozen products, but elsewhere you'll find more cakes, for example. The products for the live cooking were super fresh, and you'd happily indulge. I don't remember there being much fruit, but it's possible that I didn't see it. The baked fruit was too greasy for me personally; I don't know how often they change the oil there, but the fried noodles, for example, were very, very tasty. At €25, you can't complain; you really have to decide what's important to you. The restrooms were okay for the large number of people.

I don't understand why you don't receive any instructions at the beginning of the buffet. We weren't at all aware that the raw meat at one of the displays had to be grilled, especially since it was with the sushi, which is actually eaten raw. We thought you'd just eat the meat raw and decided to stay away. We weren't even aware that there was a grill service, so we couldn't benefit from it. We thought the grill master was preparing ordered food for guests who weren't eating the buffet. In retrospect, we would have loved to take advantage of it, and our children would have been thrilled to use the serving robots themselves. It's a real shame we missed that. But even worse is that our child ate a whole skewer of raw meat. Especially with children, you have to say that you can't just eat it straight from the buffet. That's careless and can lead to severe food poisoning! I really hope the meat was fresh and that nothing bad happens to our child. Listeriosis infection is possible even with fresh, well-chilled raw meat and can have serious health consequences, including meningitis. Symptoms can appear many weeks after consumption. We are therefore still very worried about our child. 🔁 Addendum to the restaurant's response: The restaurant's response to our feedback was unfortunately extremely disappointing. We were accused of using "common sense" and of violating parental responsibility, even though we ourselves believed the raw meat was intended for immediate consumption. We are not familiar enough with Far Eastern cuisine to automatically recognize which ingredients are acceptable and which are not. It would have been all the more important for the host to provide clear instructions, especially since sushi itself is also eaten raw, as are other dishes known from Western restaurants, such as carpaccio or steak tartare. Another guest at the next table also ate raw lamb, so we weren't the only ones who misunderstood this. To accuse guests of lacking common sense for eating raw meat is presumptuous and not customer-focused in any way. Instead of responding constructively to our concerns, the responsibility was completely shifted onto us as guests. Our concerns as parents seemed barely taken seriously. We find such a reaction inappropriate, disrespectful, and unprofessional, especially when dealing with sensitive criticism regarding food safety. It's a shame, our otherwise positive impression on site was completely destroyed by the tone and content of the response.

The restaurant has declined considerably, both in the quality of the food and the service. We had to wait 20 minutes and two servers (a colleague will be here shortly) to place a drink order. Salt and pepper weren't available, even when we asked! The staff are more concerned with clearing the tables. This culminated in my son and I having just finished our last bite when the waiter took our plates away. I absolutely don't understand why the quality of the food is being praised so much. Even with a freshly prepared dish, the broccoli was hard and cold!? But you probably can't expect more from a buffet for €25 per person. All in all, I can't recommend this place. We stopped by when we had to drive through Berlin. What should I say, excellent food very clean and reasonable prices.

The place is spacious and there are many types of food, but the taste is not as expected. For example, the hot and sour soup and Tom Yum Goong soup are quite different from the real ones. The rest of the food is good. Drinks have to be paid separately. There are Terracotta Warriors decorations and a Koi pond. The atmosphere is good.

We went there for the first time today, and it was simply delicious! We'll definitely be back!

I love the all you can eat buffet

It's a fun Las Vegas atmosphere, but the freshness of the food, the wide selection, and the variety make a visit to this large restaurant an experience with its own unique touch. Highly recommended for fun events! Everything here is lovingly crafted: the little robot that brings you your food, the friendly service, the huge buffet. Perfect for a family experience!

The staff seemed understaffed. The waitress, with short gray hair, didn't bat an eyelid and seemed very grumpy. Dishes sat there for quite a while. And you sit there for 10 minutes to order a drink. And then he pulls a face when you tip less than you might have expected. The gentleman at the reception, on the other hand, was the complete opposite: a very friendly man. The tables in the restaurant were quite cramped and quite loud. Lots of people in a relatively small space. The restaurant quickly became very warm and stuffy. The quality of the buffet was good—standard all-you-can-eat fare, except for the availability of sushi. There was little choice, and it was quickly gone, and I had to get up three times to check if they had refilled it. The ice cream machine produced more milkshake than ice. The sweet buffet was very manageable.

Anyone who comes here doesn't know the all season in Spandau - there's 100,000% more choice, a larger buffet and the price is even cheaper.

My grandchild and I can only say it's changed for the better. There's a great selection of food. The best thing about it is the soft ice cream machine. 😀 We highly recommend it.

I visited the Royal Garden Restaurant on a Thursday lunchtime for the buffet for €15.50 per person. I wanted to make a reservation in advance, but was told over the phone that this wasn't necessary. The lunch buffet is available Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Shortly after 12:00 PM, I entered the restaurant, and a member of staff who was on the phone waved me through at the entrance (along the lines of "just walk in and choose your seat"). No sooner said than done! Shortly after I sat down at my chosen table, a waitress came and asked what I would like to drink, and everything was quickly brought to my table. The food was, in my opinion, of quite good quality, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a small dessert section with typical Asian restaurant sweet desserts and a soft-serve ice cream machine. The hot dishes offered a wide selection of finger foods and the familiar Asian dishes of vegetables, rice, soups, fruit, salad, pork, chicken, duck, tofu, and fish. I've definitely had better Asian food, but I've also had a few much worse ones. For a total of €20 including a large drink, I consider it a completely fair price. Thank you! Best regards

Good buffet with something for everyone and friendly service. I went home full and satisfied. The only drawback for a Violet is that the table is only open for 2 hours. If you take too much, you'll pay 3 euros for every 100 grams left on your plate. But I think that's perfectly fine.

A great selection of salads, soups, and desserts. The washrooms are also very clean and beautifully designed. I like that they have a policy that says you shouldn't take more than you can eat on your plate—if you leave something, you'll pay a few euros extra. I think that's absolutely fair and sustainable, because I find these people who pile up their plates and don't eat anything to be unacceptable anyway. The service is fantastic. You're greeted with a super friendly welcome, and the highlight is Bella—the robot cat, who not only brings your freshly prepared food to your table super quickly but also sings you a birthday song. How sweet is that? Dogs are allowed after prior arrangement over the phone! I think that's great! They even left a bowl of water for our dog – which was very thoughtful and we appreciated it too. I always enjoy coming to the Royal Garden, even though it's quite out of the way. The parking situation is a bit annoying.

There's something for everyone, from fish, salads, appetizers, meat, etc., and you can even create your own dish with the grill master and have it grilled or seared. This won't be my last visit. 🙂👍

We specified a birthday when we made our reservation, but unfortunately, they didn't honor it. We thought the table would be decorated a bit or something else would be done, since they had specifically written it down. The staff was very unfriendly and didn't respond to our requests at all. We also had to wait a long time for drinks to be ordered, and then finally get them. The food was quite good, but there wasn't much choice.

We had the lunch buffet for four people. You can sample everything and have a choice of soups, main courses, sushi, and dessert. It's extensive and good. You shouldn't expect five-star cuisine in terms of quality. The restaurant certainly falls short of its potential. All in all, it can be rated as good, and if you like buffets, with their pros and cons, this is a good option for €20 plus a drink.
