I chose soup number 15. Highly recommended. I'll definitely come back for another meal in the summer. The server seems to be working alone, so it might take a little while if there are several guests. Still, it's perfectly acceptable. The water bottles are a real eye-catcher. Highly recommended.

Nice shop, unfortunately the food was cold and this was not the first time but definitely the last time here.

Everytime I visit Buddhas Haus it is a special experience to me, which I observed through the extremely great hospitality and the incredible beautiful decoration there. The food is also a flavourful treat and the selection of different tea specialties are wonderful. What a tranquil spot to enjoy delicious Nepalese meals and a good time. I really love that place🇳🇵 🥰 🐲 ⛲️ 🪷

I ordered the momo teller for take away. They were very yummy. Service was kind. Atmosphere was nice as well. Little garden in the back to sit outside and an area to sit in the traditional way on cushions on the floor which was cool although it gave me sort of a children’s play area feeling due to the books on the shelves and Knick-knacks. That’s why I gave atmosphere 4 stars but it’s no big deal. Will go back!!

I loved the interior, and the food too. My wife thought the food was excellent, but the interior was a bit worn. The waitresses had to be very precise to be noticed, but they were otherwise very friendly. It was also quite busy. The food was delicious, I'll be back! 👍🏻

My boyfriend and I went to Buddha Haus today and tried number 53 – Matsman Tofu. What can I say? It was incredibly delicious! The peanut sauce combined with the tofu, potatoes, onions, almonds, and cashews was simply delicious! The Bathura bread was also excellent. The atmosphere is quiet and super cozy – perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city for a moment. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive.

A very nice restaurant, very pleasant background music and a few candles lit (I wish I had more), super friendly and fast service. And above all: very, very delicious food

The food tasted good and we found the atmosphere cozy, but the service was a bit disappointing - or the kitchen had a very inattentive day. We had to wait almost an hour for food. The salad was missing the sauce and the dessert was missing the nuts.

Ok hey, so I love this Places atmosphere, and I love that you can sit on the floor and how you see it’s very much family authentic per say , the staff is awkward but Friendly and the music is calming. BUT THE DISHES WERE TOO SALTY and kinda always are, I really like this place so I hope you read this and chill a bit in the salt/youknow cause I really like the momos they so yum!

Very nice and spacious atmosphere. There is a yard you can dine outdoor too. The food was tasty but the food service time can be a little slow. It says Tibetan and Thai food on the menu. So I guess it is a fixture of cuisine.

We were in the Buddha house for the first time today and definitely come back. We had a vegetable curry and a dish with eggplant and potatoes in Nepalcurry. Both were super tasty. Visually it was reminiscent of classic Indian food, but the taste was completely different. The drinks were great too. Only the salad should have had dressing/oil. It just came to the table without any dressing. Our table neighbors also asked the staff whether this should be the case. Unfortunately the salad didn't taste like that and was super dry. Card payment was possible.

El camarero fue tan grosero que hizo llorar a mi novia. Nos arruinó toda la noche y nunca volveremos a visitarnos. No dijimos ni hicimos nada fuera de lo común y solo queríamos disfrutar de nuestra cena. Algo así nunca había ocurrido antes, con el camarero gritándonos, siendo extremadamente irrespetuoso y pasivo agresivo sin razón. La comida es muy caro para lo que se obtiene y no puedo recomendar este lugar a nadie.

It used to be my favorite restaurant, but today the waiter was so unfriendly that he ruined the whole evening and I will never come back. I've never experienced anything so disrespectful. My girlfriend cried when we got out. The food is expensive for what you get and the employees are pissed all the time for no reason. Really disappointing when it was so beautiful there ten years ago, a shame. 👎

Nice staff, lots of vegan selection. Mix of Thai, Tibetan & Nepalese. Creative dishes. I especially thought the green curry was excellent. On the weekend, a reservation in the evening definitely makes sense, it was well attended.

I have been going to the Buddha House often for many years. It always tastes good. The momos are my absolute favorite. The prices are reasonable.

Food tasted good, service unfortunately not. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for the food. Drinks were forgotten. :(

Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. We had a mixed vegetarian starter platter and everything was fried and didn't taste good. Very low level. Unfortunately the Sag Paneer didn't taste good either and the rice was crumbly. Big taste disappointment. Not recommended!!

We were there for dinner and you can sit very comfortably both inside and outside. It's particularly beautiful inside, but the last days of summer lured us outside. The food is reasonably priced, but drink prices, like almost everywhere in Berlin, are now a bit high. However, the quality of the food is absolutely great. Wonderfully seasoned dishes that all taste really different and not run-of-the-mill like in many other restaurants. You won't find the flavor variations that are offered here so easily elsewhere. The service is also friendly. All in all a great address in a beautiful, peaceful setting.

Except for the service and atmosphere, I would give this place a 2 star. The food was wayy salty. We had ordered Daal bhat thali to share and tom yam soup. Every possible dish was overly salty or had no flavor whatsoever. The service and ambiance get 5 stars. But sorry to admit but there are much better Nepalese restaurants in Berlin.

Sadly not a great experience. As a vegan I usually go to vegan places to support those and be on the save side but a friend who invited me wanted to go there, so we did. They brought us the wrong food, they brought a plate with meat. My friend and I shared the plate, what we stated before. (All the food we ordered was vegan). When we asked the waitress about it she (sorry female read) was like.. than you ordered the wrong dish.. of course it has meat in it. My friend opened to card to order the dishes, he did not order the wrong food I would also have realised that. We ordered in German and it seemed the persons's German wasn't very good. If one has problems with understanding the order you need to ask again or try in English or something.. after a bit the waitress was like.. okay sorry, "kinda bye".. and left us. My friend who sometimes eats meat wasn't too worried but I felt disguested that I took a bite. And I still feel disgusted about it. When the waitress came back she was like the next drink for him is free. And she did not serve our table anymore. Not sure she "just" avoided it. Of course human error etc.. but the reaction was not cool either. And if someone has an allergy, that would have been even worse. The food over all was medicore.

Gli antipasti erano passabili, il pad thai con tofu che ho preso era terribile. Noodle incollati, pochissime verdure, tofu fritto, probabilmente da giorni. Il prezzo è nella media, sicuramente non basso (25 con la birra). Forse sarebbe stato meglio prendere piatti nepalesi, ma, se mettono qualcosa nel menù, devono almeno farlo bene. Scelta, poca. Personale gentile. Da evitare.

Was there with two friends from Nepal. After three weeks away from home, they finally felt at home again. That speaks for itself.

Great restaurant with big space for large groups. Food was so so, our momo dish was over steamed, that the skin was falling off from the meat. But the thukpa (noodle) dish was ok and the chicken curry was ok and finally the service was great.

Covered courtyard, large restaurant. Not far from the Julius Leber Brücke S-Bahn station and therefore easily accessible.

The food is delicious and something different than other Chinese restaurants. A nice terrace to sit outside and a roof there too. The waiters do their best, it's usually always full. The ambience could be a little more flavorful. I think the caramelized beef is tastiest (photo).

I used to often and happily go to the BUDDA HAUS about two years ago. Now after a long break I was there for lunch today. Unfortunately, the store has not developed positively. Everything seems kind of dingy and unloving. We were immediately presented with a dirty ashtray on the table without asking. Two main dishes were accompanied by a portion of rice... upon request... Yes, only one bowl at first, otherwise the rice would get cold. One meal was so bad that I had to return it. It came back a little better edible. The service was grumpy, almost rude. Unfortunately it turned out to be a loveless rip-off.

I was able to eat at a reception where the Buddah House did the catering and the food was very, very good.

The vegetables were not fresh. The zucchini was already bitter. Bitter zucchinis are poisonous. The green curry was very lash and the vegetables are watery. Mango Lassi does not have much mango taste, mostly sugar. It’s really not what I expected from a place with such a name. After complaining, I also didn’t feel like I got a proper response.

Great atmosphere, food was really tasty and seasoned just right. Service was often not available, but that was probably due to the unusual time ;) would be happy to come back.

So for me it's definitely not 5 stars. Had a spontaneous meal here, and what can I say? Unfortunately the food was rather average and nothing special at all. It's a shame, given the good reviews I expected a lot more. And then I had to wait forever until the waiter finally showed up again and I could pay. They were probably only looking at the back area. The staff is very nice and friendly, the owner or manager (probably) was chatting with us and that was very cool. There is a nice atmosphere as if you are somewhere away, India, Nepal who knows. There is also an option to eat being seated on the floor cushions, which we've tried. Very comfortable! The food is actually good, but I'd put more spices for the flavours therefore it's a 4 not a 5.

Schlechtes Essen (Magenbeschwerden/Durchfall eindeutig davon)... unfreundliche Kellnerin... Kellnerin wurde zum Zahlen nicht aufgefordert, sondern präsentierte selbst die Rechnung (wahrscheinlich weil keine weitere Bestellung mehr kam)... Offenbar waren 10% Trinkgeld nicht genug, so dass am Ende noch nicht einmal das "Auf Wiedersehen" erwidert wurde...

Simply bad and not recommended. Was there with three friends. My meal Chicken Thali was very disappointing. Four tiny pieces of chicken, lentil soup cold, spinach bland and the potatoes from at least the day before, the rice was very good. Carelessly done. After the food and drinks were delivered, we were spared almost two hours of questions from the staff asking if we had any further requests. Instead, we were allowed to continue our cozy evening over the remains of the meal and the empty plates and glasses. Never again!

We had mo mos, which were undercooked, unseasoned. 2 cocktails, overpriced, very bad Main courses, khasi sag, tasteless meat, underseasoned, frozen spinach, completely bland and deprived of flavor. Service was ok, the waitress was kind and welcoming Total for 2 people was 52 euros which felt like a complete scam

Sorry but that was nothing. I didn't feel comfortable, I was pushed into an area without tablecloths where the door was open (in February) to ventilate, that's not how you should treat guests. A boring meal with no seasoning, the noodles weren't any better. The tea seemed to bring hope, sounded like a taste explosion... unfortunately just a tea bag with no added fruit or anything like that.

Very nice and harmonious atmosphere, especially on the seat cushions in the small, cozy floor seating area. Pleasant, calm music and excellent and particularly well-seasoned dishes! Large vegan and vegetarian selection and very fine teas. The service was almost a little too quick (but not rushed, very friendly)

Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, wann ich das letzte Mal so schlecht gegessen habe. Das Kokoshuhn schwamm eher in einer weißlichen Wasserbrühe als in Kokosmilch, das Gemüse war spärlich so wie die Cashewnüsse und der Salat schmeckte ranzig. Das ganze für 14,90 Euro. Eine echte Unverschämtheit.

We were still hungry when we left, The portions were small especially the chicken curry had 5 pieces of meat, but the interior was nice.

The food was bland and tasteless. One of the dishes we ordered was the Saag Paneer which had a layer of water on top as if it was just defrosted (which it probably was!). Also staff weren’t really engaged and it felt like they couldn’t be bothered. Would avoid.

I ordered a Nepali dish, the rice did not have salt and they did't have salt and pepper on the table, it was not fresh and kinda stale. In general the food was not tasty. The prices are higher compared to other nearby restaurants.

Wir sind seit ca. 3 Wochen aus dem wunderschönen Nepal zurück und haben uns mit Freunden im Buddha getroffen, um Bilder in nepalesischer Atmosphäre mit lokalem Essen anzuschauen, was sehr gelungen ist. Das Buddha Restaurant ist genau der richtige Ort dafür. Sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Als Vorspeise gab es einen köstlichen MoMo Mix und als Hauptspeise Chicken Thali und Dal Bhaat. Dazu gab es Sherpa Tee, der in Nepal Masalla Tee heißt. Alles sehr köstlich. Die MitarbeiterInnen sind sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. War früher großer Fan des Restaurants. Das Essen war immer sehr unterschiedlich: Mal sehr gut, mal eher langweilig gewürzt. Diesmal hatte ich leider mehrfach Pech. Das Essen war wenig schmackhaft und ohne Würze. Leider. Hatte mich eigentlich sehr darauf gefreut. Service gab es kaum. Ich musste um eine Karte am Tresen fragen, Personal suchen, um zu bestellen. Auch das Bezahlen ging nur, weil ich wieder das wenig freundliche Personal suchte. Dabei war augenscheinlich einiges an Servicepersonal da und nur wenige Kunden im Laden. Bitte wieder besser werden!

Man bekommt einfach nicht was auf der Karte steht! Jahre lang haben wir super gerne die Momos gegessen. Das Personal war schon immer so wie es eben war (minimalistisch "neutral" wäre die nette Formulierung ;-) )... das haben wir immer hingenommen. Nun haben wir aber für über 30€ 2go bestellt und waren super enttäuscht! Das grüne Curry enthielt einfach mal nicht das was auf der Karte stand, es ist einfach eine Frechheit! Curryblatt - fehlt! Thai-Basilikum - fehlt! Zitronengras - fehlt! Drei Zutaten die aus diesem Gericht halt iiiiirgendetwas gemacht hätten. Ach ja Erbsen waren auch einfach mal gar nicht enthalten. Sie stehen so auf der Karte, sind aber einfach nicht im Essen. Blieb kaum noch etwas übrig an Zutaten und davon war jeweils ein Löffelchen drin. Shitake, ganze 2 mini Streifen. 12,50€ für ein Curry was hätte langweiliger nicht sein können. Naja Gott sei dank hat es die Menge dann wenigstens rausgerissen - NICHT! Für 12,50€ ist es einfach super wenig Essen. Wir verstehen, dass die Mieten in der Akazienstr. vermutlich durch die Decke gegangen sind, aber dieser Preis für diese Leistung ist schlicht weg Abzocke! Das Pikante Soya Fleisch (#48) war so pikant, das man es nicht essen konnte. ACHTUNG, hier heißt Pikant: leicht scharf, sehr scharf, pikant. Evtl ist es aber auch einfach tagesformabhängig. Meine Frau konnte es jedenfalls einfach gar nicht essen. Geschmacklich könnte man die #48 etwa so zusammenfassen: Chilli und Paprika in Öl - lame as fu...! Auf unsere Mail wurde nicht reagiert, dann halt doch eine schlechte Rezension. Glückwunsch, Ihr habt weitere Kunden verloren!

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und auch die Inneneinrichtung war schön. Kann ich jedem nur weiterempfehlen.

Ich habe das cocos chicken und ein Bier bestellt. Ich habe 18,5€ für ein unfassbar geschmackloses Curry bezahlt. Preis Leistungs mäßig der schlechteste Nepalese wo ich bisher war…

Immer wieder: Köstliche Speisen, freundlicher und schneller Service, gemütliche Einrichtung.

Eine sehr schöne Kulisse, alles ist schön und angenehm eingerichtet. Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Wir haben in einer Sitzecke gesessen, wo die Tische niedrig sind und man auf Kissen auf den Boden sitzt. Schuhe sind nicht erlaubt. Mango Lassi (4,90) hat gut geschmeckt, Frühlingsrollen (4,90) haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Kräutertee hat leider sehr wenig Aroma gehabt und eher wie grüner Tee geschmeckt. Alles in allem war es ein sehr angenehmes Erlebnis. Wir waren sehr zufrieden :)

Preis Leistung war wirklich gut Essen hat toll geschmeckt Getränke waren richtig gemischt das einzige was man bemängeln könnte ist die Bedienung bringt hinund wie was durcheinander und die Dekoration könnte etwas farbenfroher sein

Buscando un lugar donde comer algo ligero y que no me hiciera daño entramos en este restaurante. La atención fue de primera pues la camarera fue super amable y estaba muy atenta a lo q yo le pedía. La comida muy rica, yo pedí un arroz frito con verduras y mi compañera un plato caldoso con verduras y pollo más un bol de arroz. El sitio es muy agradable y tiene una zona de terraza muy maja. Muy recomendable.

der Besuch war bis auf den Tee leider enttäuschend: der Mango-Lassi schmeckte so dünn wie auch blass ausgesehen hat, der Salat bestand aus einigen Eisbergsalat-Blättern, dem dazugehörenden Strunk und 2 Gurkenscheiben, das ganze mit strengem Apfelessig gemischt. Beim Hauptgericht fehlten bestimmt 5 Gr. GaramMasala.

Das Essen ist super frisch zubereitet man merkt der Koch hat Lust an der Zubereitung der Speisen. Die Soßen sind super abgeschmeckt. Es ist eine Freude wenn man bei dem Vorspeisen anfängt und alles schmeckt .Auch die Bedienungen sind aufmerksam und freundlich.Der Außenbereich auf dem Hof ist sehenswert. Wir können nur jeden empfehlen dieses Lokal einmal zu besuchen.....👍👍👍👍👍

Wir haben das Buddha Haus bei unserem Besuch in Berlin durch Zufall entdeckt. Da wir vorher noch nie bei einem Nepalesen waren wollten wir es mal testen. Der Innenraum des Restaurants wirkt sehr gemütlich, auf Grund des schönen Wetters haben wir uns aber für einen Platz im Garten entschieden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, schien aber teilweise etwas überfordert da an dem Tag sehr viel los war, u.a. eine Feier mit gut 10-15 Gästen. Wir haben uns für 2 verschiedene Gerichte mit Ente entschieden. Beides war sehr lecker. Die Auswahl der Gerichte ist sehr gut und man findet was in den verschiedensten Richtungen. Für uns ein sehr gelungener Abend und eine absolute Empfehlung.

Nach langer Zeit endlich mal wieder für ein paar Tage in Berlin auf meinem alten Kiez. Das Buddha-Haus war immer einer meiner Favoriten, und ich war begeistert, dass die Qualität noch besser geworden ist. Wunderbare Auswahl an Pan-Himalaya-Küche. Die Auswahl fällt schwer, hier läuft einem schon beim Studium der Speisekarte das Wasser im Mund zusammen, und man wird nicht enttäuscht! Großartige Küche, xzellentes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und super netter Service! Danke für den schönen Abend und die gute Energie! Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

Das Essen ist so unglaublich lecker und ich habe selten so gut gewürzte vegetarische und vegane Gerichte gegessen.

Food was very good for the most part only the salad tasted old/sour. However the service was very slow. We had to call for service a total 3 times before our orders were taken. We were a big group and reserved tables in advance so there was time to have enough staff onsite.

Nothing special in terms of food, no friendly service, I would not recommend it especially having plenty of restaurants nearby. 3.5 Max.

Ich war dort zum Abendessen und es war eine sehr positive Erfahrung. Wenn Sie in Berlin sind, müssen Sie es unbedingt ausprobieren.

Das Essen ist hervorragend und auch Vegetarier und Veganer werden mit leckeren Varianten der traditionellen nepalesischen Küche hervorragend versorgt. Der Service ist sehr warmherzig, so dass man sich rundum gut versorgt fühlt. Außerdem gibt es sehr gute Weine. Ich kann das Buddha Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen, zumal das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Esse hier seit 1 Jahr regelmäßig immer wieder gerne! Leckere Angebote, und gutes Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis!

I love eating here! The service is great and they have an affordable lunch menu. You’ll have to try the spinach Momo’s if you get the chance
