Delicious Italian food, very friendly host.

The pasta was al dente, and the seafood was fresh, and you could tell it wasn't frozen. The ambiance is also very nice and pleasant, and it's very spacious. The service is excellent, very friendly and accommodating.

We were here for the first time today and will definitely be back! Everything was just perfect: the food was amazing and made with fresh ingredients, the service was fantastic, and the ambiance was lovely. A truly wonderful evening that I will remember for a long time.

I celebrated my birthday at this wonderful restaurant – and it was simply perfect! Even during the planning phase, the team was incredibly helpful, flexible, and professional. On the day itself, everything was just perfect: The service was warm, attentive, and fulfilled our every wish. The food was a dream – fresh, creative, and prepared with great attention to detail. My guests and I were particularly impressed by the appetizer. Every course was a delight! The ambiance also contributed to the festive mood: stylish, cozy, and simply ideal for a special occasion. My guests were all thrilled – many told me afterwards that they hadn't eaten so well in a long time. A big thank you to the entire team – you made my birthday very special. We were at Brucks in Erlangen on Mother's Day - and it was wonderful! Delicious food and a great atmosphere – a successful Mother’s Day at Brucks The food was really good, we were particularly impressed with the pinsa: crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, and topped with fresh ingredients. The other dishes were also delicious and beautifully prepared. You can definitely notice the quality of the ingredients. As a nice gift, all mothers (and women) received a rose - a very nice gesture. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere – we felt very comfortable. Many thanks to the Brucks team – we’ll be happy to come back!

The restaurant has been run by a new tenant since March 1, 2025. The atmosphere is very nice, the service is great and the food tastes wonderful. We went there for lunch as a family and were completely satisfied. Our daughter was able to let off steam in the play area specially set up for children, so she never got bored. Absolutely top and simply recommended. There is also a delivery service if you prefer to eat at home. We'll definitely be back.

Everything is nice and traditional here, a really pleasant atmosphere. Pinza here is really tasty. Not too crowded means quick service. Perfect if you have children with an extra play area. Pannacota and tiramisú wonderful. Simply recommend this place.

We had lunch here with the new operators with around 35 people at a workshop some time ago. The food was ok, nothing more. Unfortunately, price/performance wasn't right at all.

Unfortunately I can't judge the food. We made reservations on Sunday at 9:30 for 13 people. Unfortunately we were faced with closed doors. Nobody could be reached by phone either. There was only a “Closed Society” sign hanging on the door. As can be seen from the reviews, this was not the first time. Our birthday brunch guests will not recommend the restaurant.

I made a reservation online for 11 people at 9 a.m. on a Sunday. And I also received a confirmation email and even a reminder email the day before. When we got there they said we didn't have a reservation. With loud complaining from the two service staff present, tables were moved to give us space. We didn't feel welcome there. We then served ourselves at the delicious breakfast buffet and during a conversation with the waitress it came out that you can order fried eggs and that they are freshly prepared. When we wanted to order some from a colleague some time later, he said there were no fried eggs. Yes, now what? Last but not least, we would have liked to eat some of the desserts from the display case, which according to the Facebook video are included. We should have paid extra for that. The gentleman said what else we would expect at such a low price and that he thought it was an impudence on our part that we were asking for everything. In the advertising video for the breakfast there are desserts at the table and the text also says homemade desserts included. We were then told that this meant cookies that were on the buffet. The first and last time for us.

We ordered drinks and asked for small glasses. An older lady came, brought a large drink and told what a mistake she had made and brought a large drink. I asked her, "Then you should give us the price for the little one, otherwise I don't want to pay," whereupon she laughed, turned around and left. We also ordered fries that never came. When I asked her what was wrong with the fries, she immediately went to the kitchen to place the order and told me they would be ready soon. I just asked for a drink to pay and leave. And I will never go there again, the service is terrible. not recommended. Just save your bit of money and don't go there. 👋🏻

I was there from few days ago at night in the opening hours which on google.,and they told us that they are closing now !! Food is good but prices not . Serving the drinks is quick but for food takes along time. Employees in general are not always friendly! I see that the only advantage in the place the playing area of kids .

We celebrated a children's event in this restaurant and the atmosphere was simply fantastic! The interior is very beautiful and colorful, which makes the ambience particularly pleasant. The children's corner is also excellent and a rarity in Germany. Unfortunately we had a large group and the orders took a long time to prepare. We had to wait over two hours and the dishes were served one after the other so we couldn't all eat together. That dampened the mood a little. Nevertheless, the dishes were very tasty! Overall it was a nice experience, but I hope the service will be a little faster in the future.

Last night I was there after a long time Back at Brucks, for the first time after changing operator. I had reserved in advance by email, but unfortunately had to postpone the reservation again more than a week in advance. This was also confirmed via email. When we came yesterday there was no table reserved for us. The waitress showed us a table right next to the game corner, but we had requested a quiet table in the reservation email, the only other free tables were right at the entrance, at least with a curtain as a vestibule, which not a single guest closed again . The waitress took the order, brought the items, but then didn't show up again. We probably fell into oblivion after not sitting “in view”. This meant we had to go to the counter several times to reorder. Later the service staff changed and the young man was friendly. Unfortunately, our food order was also forgotten and was only served upon request - then immediately. We waited over 30 minutes for antipasti and carpaccio. Food was ok, but nothing more. The menu as a whole is nothing special, but the prices are at a high level. The mushrooms were very soft in places. Unfortunately, there is no longer a children's card. We may still come again with children because there are really hardly any alternatives, but probably not for a nice evening with friends.

New owner and unfortunately not nearly as good. Map is now Italian & Franconian. The food was delicious, but unfortunately the prices weren't the cheapest. Service was difficult during our visit. We received great service when the lady was in the restaurant. Our side dish was missing and we had no way of pointing it out to anyone because none of the employees were in the restaurant. The price of the food was adjusted as an apology. But we won't be going to Brucks anymore because the charm of the previous owner has completely disappeared when it comes to fancy food and drinks.

We used to enjoy going to Brucks with the children and were therefore happy about the new opening. Unfortunately, this afternoon was a complete disappointment. If the children hadn't been playing in the play area we would have left after the drinks. Despite few visitors, the friendly service was completely overwhelmed...tables not cleared for hours, toilets without towels and toilet paper, at least the latter was refilled upon request. The special was warm, the apple spritzer became a juice - it can happen. More than 45 minutes after the first food order, the second service person came to apologize that the order had probably not been taken correctly and to say that there was a lack of staff. The order was taken again - one of six main dishes was still forgotten in the end. This was missing from the pinsa with burrata and only when asked was it said that it was unfortunately out: "you can take this into account in the bill" (spoiler: this only happened here when explicitly asked). The antipasti plate: a plate with grilled vegetables: eggplant, zucchini, peppers, mushrooms, rocket - that's it: €9.50. Mistakes happen, especially when staff are missing. I understand that. The question is how to deal with mistakes. You can compensate for a lot with the service here: a coffee/drink/attention to the house as an apology for the extremely long wait and the faulty food - unfortunately none of this is available. The planned late lunch turned into an afternoon-long program. At least the children were able to learn what it means to be patient. And dear operators: you have a great children's play area and therefore attract families: why is there no children's menu?

Perfect place to go with kids. There is a very nice corner for kids, we’ve been there multiple times and my kid always finds a new way to play. On Sunday they have all you can eat breakfast.

Definitely not again! We had an appointment at 5:30 p.m. But at 5:38 p.m. the door still hadn't been opened. Even when we knocked on the glass door several times, we were skillfully ignored. The temporary worker who started work at 5:30 p.m. was standing outside with us!!!! The poor thing couldn't help it. She was also very nice and accommodating. Salad with turkey strips was "thrown" onto the plate very carelessly, no dressing, cheap olives from a jar and that for a whopping €15!!!! Until 8:15 p.m., we were the only guests, apart from one man. It's a shame that such a beautiful location is being ruined like this. We will definitely never go there again

Yesterday morning we spontaneously went to Brucks to try out the breakfast buffet and the children's play area after the reopening. I called several times in the morning but couldn't reach anyone. So we went there at random. There was a yawning emptiness and the only employee present didn't speak any German - maybe that's why no one answered. So there was no service. For breakfast: We had to put some plates aside because they weren't clean. Breakfast offers a wide range of olives and eggs in several variations. There was a lot of sausage and ham, and at some point smoked salmon was added. The cheese plate offered two types of cheese, the slices were stuck together and didn't seem fresh. So I had to take several slices and unfortunately I found a hair between them. Vegans will definitely not get their money's worth. Otherwise there were very small rolls/pretzel sticks/croissants, no bread, a small selection of muesli, yoghurt, whole fruit, and at some point also pieces of cake, small mozzarella balls, date tomatoes and pieces of cucumber. Unfortunately there was no caffeine-free coffee; the hot drinks came from the coffee machine. There were juices from containers that didn't seem particularly hygienic. Unfortunately, children weren't really considered when choosing breakfast (luckily we had something with us). For €15.90 per person (our hot drink seemed to be included) you could easily offer more choice and better quality. The children's play area would be a great thing in itself, especially since there are hardly any such offers in Erlangen. Unfortunately, the floor was so dirty and full of dust mice that I hardly wanted to walk on it without shoes. However, it wouldn't have been worth it anyway because there was nothing to play in other than a depression with some squished balls (that was supposed to be a ball pit). Our child did not recognize the children's play area as such and ignored it. It's a shame - Brucks could be such a great place, because someone thought something of the tasteful interior design. Unfortunately, these efforts did not extend to breakfast or the children's play area. You could probably give the shop another chance for a coffee in the afternoon, but we definitely can't recommend the breakfast.

Few people, Monday evening or late dinner, worth a visit, smiling service, I recommend!

A pleasant location to have breakfast on a Sunday at short notice at a reasonable price. The breakfast buffet offers a good price-performance ratio for 15.90 euros per person including coffee (!). In this respect, we can recommend the solid breakfast offering.

Wanted to have breakfast there, but the opening hours are rather unusual. Children's corner sounds good, but unfortunately it (understandably) caused more frustration than fun. The idea of ​​the ball track is good in itself, but most of the cables are from pulleys (one could be repaired) and the balls available are too light, so it's really no fun because something is constantly getting stuck or a ball is jumping out of the track. Maybe instead of the ball pit, provide a basket with tennis balls (there was one and it worked well) and instead put building blocks or toy figures in the recess of the ball pit. We then decided at short notice not to eat anything and just downed a quick drink. Unfortunately the hot drinks came from a fully automatic machine and were only medium.

The new owner of Brucks is really great. The service is very nice and helpful and the food was really tasty.

The breakfast was very tasty, the portion was plentiful and there is also a play area for the children.

Very nice, bright cafe. The breakfast selection is very large and so is the portion size. Only the rolls are very small and you only get 2 (although we would have gotten more if we asked, but we don't know whether there was an extra charge or not). There are fresh pastries in the display case. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. The highlight is the child-friendliness. There is a play area, a playground and a changing table.

I really like being here and appreciate the delicious cuisine, the pleasant atmosphere and the inspiring furnishings. Just feel good and let your thoughts wander. Thanks to the team!

The breakfast is very tasty. For the breakfast plate for 2, less sausage could be served, but vegan spreads could be served instead. The atmosphere is very nice and modern. There is a play area for the kids. The staff is very friendly. However, only one waiter, everyone else is behind the counter. Unfortunately it takes a while.

Wir kommen regelmäßig ins Brucks und sind sehr gerne hier. Das essen ist ausgezeichnet. Die Preise sind zu 100% gerechtfertigt. Die Inhaberin ist immer super lieb und auch die Angestellten sind aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder. Das Restaurant sieht oft geschlossen aus, obwohl es geöffnet ist.

Heute ist mein Geburtstag und unser Tochter hat ein Frühstücks Cafe gesucht, das erstens am Feiertag geöffnet ist und in das man mit zwei kleinen Kinder gehen kann. Dieses Cafe hält was es verspricht, kinderfreundlich, modern, lecker und man versucht Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es war auch mit zwei kleinen Kindern ein rundum angenehmes Frühstück.

Der Gastraum ist modern und hell, das Personal freundlich. Die Essensauswahl ist umfangreich, die Portionen großzügig. Das „Ei Benedict mit Lachs“ ist ausgezeichnet! Es gibt ein großes Glas frischgepressten Saft. Preis-Leistung ist in Ordnung.

Puuh..... Mixed emotions würde ich mal sagen. Ich hatte Brathähnchen bestellt.....bekommen habe ich irgendwelche Hähnchenteile paniert..... vielleicht Formfleisch(?).....wer weiß das schon. Der Salat war durchsetzt mit irgendwelchen getrockneten Gemüsechips... für den, der's mag vielleicht das Höchste. Die Portion ein klein wenig übersichtlich, im Unterschied zum Preis. Es hätte noch weitere Beilagen gebraucht um satt zu werden, und ich war nicht mal hungrig. Soderle....das Bier....zum Glück haben wir ja in Franken hervorragende Biere, die mega gut schmecken. Und was bekommt man hier......Münchner Plörre, dafür aber mit Private Label. Weiterhin.....es war ja bisher schon sehr hip......ich war zum ersten Mal im Lokal.....von allen wird man geduzt.....mir war nicht bewusst, dass wir uns bereits kannten und per Du sind. Ich entscheide immer noch selbst, von wem ich mich duzen lasse. Was aber angenehm war.....angenehme Musik und Lautstärke im Lokal. Brauche ich aber zum Abendessen nicht nochmal. Zum Frühstück kann ich nichts sagen.

Ganz kurz- Super. Einzige Restaurant in Erlangen wo kann man sich wohl fühlen und sehr gut essen. Einfach lecker 😋

…und zum dritten Mal begeistert. Das Brucks Café zeichnet sich durch eine moderne Küche aus. Neben einer „Standardkarte“ gibt es immer wieder saisonale Abwechslungen. Das Essen ist frisch zubereitet und schmeckt wunderbar. Ganz toll ist auch der Service. Ein junges Team kümmert sich wunderbar um die Gäste. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.
