I think 3.5 is about the same. 2 is really too low. Maybe some things really don’t taste good But the pork chops and fries I ate and the pizza I saw others eating were both delicious. But the meat sauce on the spaghetti is delicious, but the noodles are really not that good. Desserts don’t look great, they’re just ordinary. Overall, there are some delicious and some ordinary, it depends on what you order. 2 points is really too low

As is often the case in life, the location determines the price. That also applies to this restaurant. Right on Königssee, that costs extra. The prices for the fairly simple dishes and drinks are at the top end. A tea and a coffee just under €12 - that's sporty and beats Frankfurt prices. However, it was our conscious decision to stop there; we were cold.

The reviews are a bit poor. Please help with comments. The fish is really delicious and the atmosphere is good.

Written in English so that more foreign tourists do not fall into the trap. This is not an authentic Bavarian place to eat. Please do not make the mistake of expecting that you get serve traditional German food. I had something called "Brotzeit". The bread is from a cheap supermarket. As is the cheese, ham and salami. The owner is extremely interested in maximizing profits in the worsted way. I raised this issue and instead of listening constructively, the waiter commented, "No one has ever complained in 10 years!" Of course, hardly anyone who doesn't know what good German bread means and isn't from here would complain. The arrogance couldn't be greater. Please avoid eating here! .look up what German food HAVE to look like beforehand.

Unfortunately it is not possible to give less than one point. The service is so unfriendly, ready-made food for outrageous prices. The canned soup was cold, the fries were swimming in fat. Only the ambience is quite good, but that doesn't make the food any better.

Definitely on the list of worst restaurants. This shop survives solely because of its good location. My lentil stew was cold and not particularly tasty, the pizza was frozen, the fries for the child were just greasy and unappetizing. The service - if you want to call it that - wasn't particularly friendly or welcoming. The only positive point was the drinks, but the price wasn't exactly cheap either. If I could I would give zero stars.

The only positive thing: the location and the furnishings. We had Kaiserschmarrn and two hot chocolates. I can't completely share the bad reviews regarding the preparation and taste of the Kaiserschmarrn. It was okay. The portion was large but it was plain. I don't want to rule out the possibility of working with a ready-made mix here. But all in all, €14.90 is a disgrace. You can ask for that if it's really home-made Kaiserschmarrn with home-made applesauce etc. Reasonable here: max. 10€. The prices for a small cup of cocoa are just as outrageous. Almost 6€! Yes, the cocoa was tasty, but nothing more. The cup was small - approximately 200ml. With or without cream - there was no price difference. It doesn't fit the area, other restaurants are 3 leagues above.

The ambience is ok and fits the name of the house. The service is good, the staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I have to say that the food wasn't great. I had the snack plate and when it came you could see that it had nothing to do with a traditional snack plate. The products, whether the cheese or the cold cuts, were all packaged. My friend, who had ham toast with cheese, wasn't any better. The taste was ok, but as I said, nothing earth-shattering, unfortunately.

The best example of a “local” that attracts customers through its location. We had the “apple strudel”, if you like cardboard this is the place for you. If you've already bought it, please don't buy the cheapest one. The vanilla sauce was more like an indefinable mush and costs a surcharge of 2!!! Euro. There was also a lukewarm cappuccino. It's bordering on cheeky. Never again!!!

That was nothing. 13.90 euros for a frozen pizza (Dr. Oetker did it, I think) is outrageous. Our three meals didn't come at the same time. But a portion of fries that we hadn't ordered. The cola was not carbonated and therefore tasted stale. The entire facility is also rather bland. The sanitary facilities were also not at all inviting. This restaurant is absolutely NOT recommended.

Unfortunately, my meal wasn't good at all: the roast pork was served cold, the (canned) sauerkraut was lukewarm, the (instant) bread dumplings were soggy. Schnitzel and fries were ok, as were the portion sizes. The service was very friendly. The location is "in the middle" - close to the lake.

Not that you have too much options here for tourists. Seems like locals bring their own food and have picnics around the lake. We stopped here twice during out trips in the area. We ordered a beer and the pretzel, not too much choice for vegetarians. Could be nice for a short drink and snack. Enjoy!

I have never eaten such a carelessly prepared, limp apple strudel in my entire life. The ice cream ball had probably been heated directly in the microwave. With a cup of cappuccino the whole fun cost around 13 euros. That's an outrage. You should definitely avoid this place.

I can't write anything positive. I was served a thin floral coffee and a bad Kaiserschmarrn. The waiter smoked next to my table so I had to wait longer until I could pay. The ambience is very cool and without concept.

The bottomless meatloaf I've ever had. The slice was more like a cold cut than a slice. A millimeter less and you could have read a newspaper through it. I doubt whether the meat loaf was ever juicy during his lifetime. The 4 euros charged for this topped off the outrageousness.

You should be ashamed of calling yourself that and then serving such a bad snack plate. 2 slices of bread with ham, cheese and salami from the discount store, never had such a bad snack plate before. Totally overpriced for the quality and just a tourist rip-off! There were also a lot of wasps on the tables, so it was hard to eat, which the waiters weren't interested in. You could at least try to do something against the wasps.

My boyfriend and I went out to eat, we took the soup, it was terribly sour, like it was old. And we also ordered a pizza, which was also sour and rubbery. (disgusting) when it comes to service to foreigners, it is a disaster. The waiter served us and was very unpleasant. We went out to eat today and a young man served us in a very courteous, friendly and nice manner. The food was tasty, plentiful and freshly prepared. We have schnitzel with fries and salad and spagetti Bolognese with salad and a shandy each. Together we paid 52 euros. So I can't understand the negative experiences here, we were very satisfied 😀🤗

I've never had a worse roast pork in my entire life. They should be really ashamed to offer something like that. The dumpling that came with it wouldn't have been usable even as animal feed. The meat... underground... I let the plate go back almost untouched...but no one was interested...it's probably normal...

The worst restaurant I have ever eaten in Germany. I ordered two sausages with some super acidic and cold potatoes from the refrigerator, it came with a salad... A thin slice of cucumber, a quarter of a tomato and a lettuce leaf and it was hot... The two sausages were cooked without further ado.

I don't understand why this restaurant only has 2 stars on Google. We ordered schnitzel and pasta and were satisfied. The serving speed was fast, and the food was both tasty and served in large portions. In total we paid €60 including tip, which is really not expensive for a restaurant in a touristy area in Bavaria. The pork chop was juicy and delicious. The steak was also good. The portion size is enough. Ordering 2 portions can feed 3 people. It is very filling.

There are several places to grab lunch in the cute town on the walk from the parking lot to the Konigsee harbor, and we chose this one because it had ample outdoor seating. Service was good and the food was very good for the most part (especially the soups). Good authentic food at a very reasonable price.

Wir lieben den Königssee und waren schon viele Male dort, auch kehrten wir immer wieder gerne ein, aber da wir uns noch immer ärgern, hier unsere Begebenheit. An diesem Sonntag war es kalt und wir kehrten ins Brotzeitstüberl am Königssee ein, wie schon einige Male davor. Meine 93-jährige Tante bestellte einen Tee mit Rum, mit der Bitte den Rum in einem Extraglas zu servieren, damit sie die Menge des Rums im Tee selber wählen könne. DAS machte dem Kellner ein riesen Problem und kostete dann anstelle von 5,90€ (lt. Getränkekarte) sage und schreibe 8,90€ !!! Wir mussten einen Enzian (2cl) um 4,20€ bezahlen, erhielten jedoch NUR einen (Schank-) Rum! Den präpotenten Kellner darauf angesprochen, sagte er patzig :" Sie haben ja einen Rum extra bestellt." DAS ist echte Abzocke und eine Unverschämtheit! Wir werden in Zukunft auf einen Besuch verzichten und bedanken uns für diese eigentümliche und gastfreundliche Erfahrung! Leider nicht zu empfehlen ☹️, Essen : Currywurst war innen kalt,hab zwar eine neue Portion bekommen , war auch nicht viel besser.Viel zu überteuert,auch die Personal war genervt.Als Brotzeit Stübl stellt man sich etwas anderes vor und für die Region ein schlechtes Aushängeschild.

I should have read the reviews first before taking a seat. The spaghetti is the worst ever, the pizza is full of cheap tea, and the Schnitzel is even worse than Namsan King Pork Cutlet. The employee even skipped one person's order and insisted that no order had been taken, but then told me to wait 10 minutes, so I canceled the order and paid the bill. Even then, he was standing there even after paying as if he was going to get a tip, so I just walked out.

Big difference to last year! Snack plate this time really lean! 2 slices of bread, taste wise from the supermarket, not enough for all the toppings. 2 slices reordered: €2.60! Last year basket with different pastries, varieties of cheese and ham. Grassl gentian Nice in a small tankard with a tablet, standard glass this year. And then there are Christmas decorations in the window. We won't come here for the third time.

The food was really bad frozen pizza and they don't even have it on the menu that it's from a semi-finished product, I would close this business. The service is nice, but if they don't know English in a tourist place, it would be very bad. A proud nation, but business is business. I had the liver soup, the broth was very weak. Chicken cutlet ok. but they don't know rice, only potatoes and fries (like in McDonald's), so bad. €14.5 for a schnitzel and fries should be of better quality.

Because of the charming impression of the restaurant, we decided to dine there. I hadn't seen the many bad reviews at the time. We wanted to order typical Bavarian dishes and I ordered a little too much and asked the boss/waiter to cut one out. Unfortunately this was no longer possible 3 minutes after ordering. I found the manner very unfriendly and not customer friendly. As the process progressed, I felt more like a supplicant than a customer and guest. Only one waitress was very friendly. We enjoyed the food, but we wouldn't eat there again just because of the way it was served.
