The food was okay, but for the price, I was hoping for a bit better flavor. The cheese spaetzle wasn't homemade and wasn't cooked all the way through. The fried onions weren't homemade either. But all in all, it was quite tasty. The beer definitely tastes good! And the restaurant was at least open after 7 p.m., unlike the surrounding restaurants.

This review refers only to the counter sale of pretzels and Leberkäse rolls: unfriendly service, and handing out rolls and pretzels without gloves while handling cash is not particularly hygienic…

We made a quick stop at the restaurant; the liver dumpling soup tasted like water; the food was very poor! The price/performance ratio was absolutely inappropriate.

Wow, first you forget the salad, then it's still on the bill, and the waiter doesn't even apologize... pure rip-off! And then two years later, they delete the reviews instead of owning up to their mistake. Accusing the guest of defamation...

I would never go there again. Far too expensive. What you get is rather subpar. It's better to walk a few meters toward the Jennerbahn cable car. There's a nice bakery there. Or the Brandtnerhof next door.

Unfortunately, we were not at all satisfied. Neither with the service nor with the food. The service was strangely unfriendly/reserved, and the food tasted bad. At the next table, a guest complained politely about part of the food and wanted to return it. The waiter reacted completely unprofessionally. He acted like a child. Our visit to the Brotzeitstüberl was a disaster. The waiter was indifferent, rude, and addressed the guests informally—completely unprofessional. Guests next to us complained about their food—the waiter reacted indifferently and ignored the complaints completely, instead of apologizing. On top of that, he addressed the guests informally without asking. It's clear that someone with no real hospitality experience is working here. I haven't experienced such poor service in a long time. Glasses were served with hands, and glasses were cleared without a tray—simply unprofessional. Truly disappointing; we definitely won't be coming back.

They had an appealing sign outside, picturing a thick sandwich with a schnitzel and a lot of lettuce and tomato. But when we bought it, we got a wacky bun with no vegetables. They told us we could'nt sit outside, but had to take the food to go, there was nobody sitting outside, and it was raining very hard. When we asked about the vegetables they said "we dont make the marketing signs, we make the food". When i said that its false advertising, the person serving me physically intimidated me and followd me until we were outside.

Absolutely NOT recommended! It looks very Bavarian and rustic at first glance, but unfortunately, the food is an absolute joke for what is supposedly Bavarian cuisine... And I won't even get started on the prices for this outrageous dish! Nothing is homemade, it's all canteen fare, although I've eaten in canteens that were better... The staff were uncooperative... What a shame!!

I'm actually reviewing this after my boyfriend got his review REMOVED by this restaurant from Google Reviews. I was there with him and the service and quality were very, very low. Apparently, they are removing every negative review and now, he can't review it anymore -- he's banned!!!

They only benefit from the location. Service was always attentive. They weren't unfriendly, but friendly and nice is something else entirely. We waited 15 minutes for our food. Currywurst with fries and Wiener schnitzel with potatoes. The taste and portion definitely didn't justify the price. We then ordered a small portion of Kaiserschmarrn, which took about 35 minutes. It tasted okay. In total, we paid €60.

A Bavarian-style inn. Unfortunately, it's just an illusion. The food was not good at all. Hardly any of the staff spoke proper German. There was no toilet paper in the restroom, and no water from the tap. Somehow, no one seemed to care. Maybe they just didn't understand me. I wouldn't go there again. I'd rather pay a little more and then get something more than just fast food. Unfortunately, we were fooled by the ambiance.

Warning!!!! I really have to warn the people who go there. The food is priced at a 5-star restaurant, but unfortunately, it's the product of a takeaway. I wanted to order a pizza without cheese, but the waiter told me it wouldn't work because it was already overcooked, as it was a frozen pizza. The pizza simply cost €17.90 on the menu. I think it's really cheeky that they charge such high prices for something like that. We also ordered schnitzel that said salad on the side, but we got a slice of tomato and a slice of cucumber 🤣 So, with all the love, I wouldn't even give you a star!!!! Overall, the food is all ready-made and nothing is freshly prepared. Please be careful where you eat, because we threw €57.50 away! 🤣

Getting a frozen pizza: Unfortunately, it's a typical "tourist trap." The store presumably belongs to some "investor" who just wants to buy cheap and sell expensively. The customer experience is completely forgotten. The staff was not customer-friendly towards us.

The staff seemed very rude; we ordered "Kaiserschmarrn," or at least that's what it was supposed to be. It was more like a pancake that was way too thick and dripping with fat, and the texture wasn't fluffy but rather mushy, just like the staff. Charging €16.50 for it is a complete disgrace. And we didn't really get time to look at the menu and the prices. Wouldn't go here again.

The price of water is not stated on the ticket and then we were brought 0.3 tap water for 100 CZK and when ordering, when they specified kinder bolognese twice, they charged normal when paying. 😀

Frozen schnitzel with boiled potatoes. The service was very quick, but we had little time to look at the menu for three people. The food was extremely expensive; the price didn't justify the offering at all! We left very dissatisfied.

Als we een uur moeten wachten voordat we met de boot mee kunnen over de Köningssee besluiten we hier te lunchen. De bediening is correct, niet bijzonder hartelijk gewoon nogal standaard. Onze drankjes staan snel op tafel maar dan begint het wachten. Het duurt bijna 40 minuten voordat onze currywurst met friet op tafel staat. Dat is erg lang. De currywurst zelf is smakelijk, de friet prima. Niets mis mee maar de wachtijd was wel een aanslag op ons geduld zeker omdat we een boot moesten halen.

When we have to wait an hour before we can take the boat across the Königssee we decide to have lunch here. The service is correct, not particularly warm, just rather standard. Our drinks are quickly on the table but then the waiting begins. It takes almost 40 minutes before our currywurst and fries are on the table. That is very long. The currywurst itself is tasty, the fries are fine. Nothing wrong with it but the waiting time was an attack on our patience, especially because we had to catch a boat.

It's a shame that such a restaurant is in such a beautiful location. Unfortunately, we (a group of four) didn't check Google reviews beforehand, otherwise we would have gone somewhere else to eat. We originally wanted to order pizza, but after learning that they only heat up a frozen pizza (for just under 15 euros!!!), we opted for the schnitzel. It tasted okay, but nothing really special. The schnitzel is also only frozen and about 1 cm thick... For almost 20 euros with a few fries and a bit of ketchup, it's really too expensive. The location and the restaurant are nice, but that's about it...

Cozy beer garden with a lovely atmosphere. Great view of the mountains. The staff is friendly and the soup was delicious.

Despite the rain, we found a seat inside right away. The restaurant was packed, with large portions, fast and attentive staff, and reasonable prices for Königssee. Clean restrooms, and the owner makes every effort to fill up quickly.

The service was spectacularly bad. The waiter treats you with subtle aggression, making you feel unwelcome. If you're going to pick the tourists like Christmas geese, please do so with a smile on your face.

The waiter seems abrupt and rude. But if you watch him longer, you understand why he is so dull. This passing traffic of Chinese and other tourists who behave as if no rules apply to them and that decency has been forgotten at home, I think that's how it gets... He was nice to us after we expressed our condolences to him about these circumstances. We can't say anything about the food, we just had something to drink on site.

If I had read the reviews beforehand, I probably would have saved myself the visit. The Kaiserschmarren was dry, not fluffy at all and not a trace of crispy. Instead, there were some tough pieces where you really had to fight. The food was served extremely quickly, but it seemed like it had been sitting somewhere for a while and was just warmed up quickly. Bottom line: It's a shame about the money and the anticipation. Really no recommendation.

An unparalleled impudence – stay away! What we experienced here defies description. The service was incredibly rude, stroppy and completely disrespectful - you had the feeling of being unwanted. Such condescending staff is really the last thing! After a whopping 50 minutes (!) the Kaiserschmarrn finally arrived - and it was an imposition: tough, burnt, completely sweetened and simply not edible. An insult to every palate. And then these prices! High costs for lousy quality and a tone that spoils your appetite. Price-performance? A straight minus! If you don't want to ruin your day, it's better to give this shop a wide berth. Never. Again.

Restaurant is absolutely not recommended! They advertise homemade Kaiserschmarren and it tasted like nothing, the worst Kaiserschmarren we've ever eaten around here! In addition, the waiting time is a disaster. As soon as you ask how long it will take, the staff shouts at you in front of other guests. This is how you can drive your own store into ruin! Just don't come here... looks can be deceiving.

Fast service, Kaiserschmarren was great, the children's spaghetti bolognese was first class with fresh parsley. Definitely homemade. Everything seems clean and newly renovated. Very happy again.

I think 3.5 is about the same. 2 is really too low. Maybe some things really don’t taste good But the pork chops and fries I ate and the pizza I saw others eating were both delicious. But the meat sauce on the spaghetti is delicious, but the noodles are really not that good. Desserts don’t look great, they’re just ordinary. Overall, there are some delicious and some ordinary, it depends on what you order. 2 points is really too low

As is often the case in life, the location determines the price. That also applies to this restaurant. Right on Königssee, that costs extra. The prices for the fairly simple dishes and drinks are at the top end. A tea and a coffee just under €12 - that's sporty and beats Frankfurt prices. However, it was our conscious decision to stop there; we were cold.

Don't come to this place! Don't come here, it tastes terrible! Absolutely a black shop, the prices are high and the food tastes terrible!

Please do not make the mistake of expecting that you get serve traditional German food. I had something called "Brotzeit". The bread is from a cheap supermarket. As is the cheese, ham and salami. The owner is extremely interested in maximizing profits in the worsted way. I raised this issue and instead of listening constructively, the waiter commented, "No one has ever complained in 10 years!" Of course, hardly anyone who doesn't know what good German bread means and isn't from here would complain. The arrogance couldn't be greater. Please avoid eating here! .look up what German food HAVE to look like beforehand.

Definitely on the list of worst restaurants. This shop survives solely because of its good location. My lentil stew was cold and not particularly tasty, the pizza was frozen, the fries for the child were just greasy and unappetizing. The service - if you want to call it that - wasn't particularly friendly or welcoming. The only positive point was the drinks, but the price wasn't exactly cheap either. If I could I would give zero stars.

Unfortunately it is not possible to give less than one point. The service is so unfriendly, ready-made food for outrageous prices. The canned soup was cold, the fries were swimming in fat. Only the ambience is quite good, but that doesn't make the food any better.

The only positive thing: the location and the furnishings. We had Kaiserschmarrn and two hot chocolates. I can't completely share the bad reviews regarding the preparation and taste of the Kaiserschmarrn. It was okay. The portion was large but it was plain. I don't want to rule out the possibility of working with a ready-made mix here. But all in all, €14.90 is a disgrace. You can ask for that if it's really home-made Kaiserschmarrn with home-made applesauce etc. Reasonable here: max. 10€. The prices for a small cup of cocoa are just as outrageous. Almost 6€! Yes, the cocoa was tasty, but nothing more. The cup was small - approximately 200ml. With or without cream - there was no price difference. It doesn't fit the area, other restaurants are 3 leagues above.

The ambience is ok and fits the name of the house. The service is good, the staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I have to say that the food wasn't great. I had the snack plate and when it came you could see that it had nothing to do with a traditional snack plate. The products, whether the cheese or the cold cuts, were all packaged. My friend, who had ham toast with cheese, wasn't any better. The taste was ok, but as I said, nothing earth-shattering, unfortunately.

The best example of a “local” that attracts customers through its location. We had the “apple strudel”, if you like cardboard this is the place for you. If you've already bought it, please don't buy the cheapest one. The vanilla sauce was more like an indefinable mush and costs a surcharge of 2!!! Euro. There was also a lukewarm cappuccino. It's bordering on cheeky. Never again!!!

That was nothing. 13.90 euros for a frozen pizza (Dr. Oetker did it, I think) is outrageous. Our three meals didn't come at the same time. But a portion of fries that we hadn't ordered. The cola was not carbonated and therefore tasted stale. The entire facility is also rather bland. The sanitary facilities were also not at all inviting. This restaurant is absolutely NOT recommended.

I honestly don't get why this restaurant has such a low rating here. It is a really nice restaurant. - It is cozy and the decoration is pretty nice - Service was very good. I have never eaten such a carelessly prepared, limp apple strudel in my entire life. The ice cream ball had probably been heated directly in the microwave. With a cup of cappuccino the whole fun cost around 13 euros. That's an outrage. You should definitely avoid this place.
