Worse experience, 15 minutes to take the order, one hour and half to get the food.. We lost our appetite. And the mix grill was cold and the meat was overcooked.. It was not worth the wait. Every time I use to ask for the food, they say coming soon coming soon, and they complain that they have a full house with bad attitude. I was very disturbed and couldn't eat any more. If you have a full house, don't take more guests than you can serve. Other restaurants will be happy to serve, Sorry, never again

Great food at moderate prices. The pizza is sensational because it comes from a auxiliary oven. Be sure to eat dessert as well, the portions are very large. The personality is very friendly and competent, special requests are welcome. Always my pleasure.

MOLD ALERT! Caution!! I couldn't recommend this restaurant more after being served rice when I was pregnant that was moldy! Gray and red mold threads and lumps were in the rice, which was served as balls. The boss initially denied it and tried to tell you that it was butter, before then admitting that these rice balls had been made a few days earlier. He didn't care at all that I was pregnant and he had served me such filthy food! No guilty conscience at all. This should be closed! This man is unscrupulous! Really disgusting!!!

A really great, somewhat unusual restaurant. The pizza is made in a wood-fired oven (which you can see from the restaurant). We were there with 6 people and 3 feasting blocks and the service was super friendly and courteous. The food was also really tasty. Therefore, I cannot understand the many negative reviews that I read beforehand. The only thing I found was the wine prices were a bit excessive. But we'd love to come back.

We had made reservations for a small group birthday party (9 people). We were served very nicely and courteously. The food was very tasty, the portions were sufficient. The “birthday child” (75 years old) was served dessert. Overall we had a very nice evening. The only minor criticism is the few parking spaces.

Particularly suitable for larger celebrations. Event in a small group, I asked for an individual suggestion, menu, 3 courses, main course to choose from, everything perfect, fine dessert, bottled wine with a very good price/performance ratio. Great meat combination with individual sauces. Pleasant atmosphere, we sat at the large rustic table with the couch. A successful evening for us, gladly again. Friendly service team. If you have something to complain about here, you should talk to the boss yourself.

Parking lot disaster. Water costs a lot of money in Germany, which is why you can't clean window frames and radiators. Pizza lukewarm, toppings poor, pizza base on paper plates and hard to cut. Once and never again.

We were there on Boxing Day. Because it is a large room, it was of course very loud with so many people, but that was inevitable. I think the prices are overpriced, a 0.4l cola was €5 & the steak (very thin) was also just under €30. My schnitzel was relatively carelessly prepared. There were changing facilities on site. Unfortunately the changing table was very wobbly. There was no light in one of the two women's toilets, but it was generally clean. What I liked was that there was a fairly large play area for children. The toys were already quite old and might need to be renewed or replaced, but the children still liked them Unfortunately, the furniture was also very worn. Unfortunately there are only a few parking spaces right in front. There is a food bowl next door where you can park, but it filled up pretty quickly on a holiday like this. Staff could be friendlier. We wouldn't eat there again for the money.

As always, we ate well in the Brockenhaus. We'd love to come back

First of all the positive sides, my friend and I ate there, had two different starters and two different steak variations and it tasted great. It was really tasty and the portions were big enough. However, we found the service partly inadequate. The service staff were nice, yes, but it took forever for someone to come. The store itself is huge and when you come in there is no reception or anything like that, so you end up with something ordered and not picked up. When we were assigned a table, it took some time until we received the menus. The recording afterwards went quite quickly, but the preparation of the food simply took too long. Almost 50 minutes for the starter and then the same time after clearing away the starter is simply not proportionate. It should also be said that the restaurant was at most a third full and there were at least four service staff there, so they weren't under any stress!

The pizza base was bone dry and the toppings were rather poor.

The ambience is great, but unfortunately the pizza is very disappointing. For the high price you only get finished floors that are hardly convincing in terms of taste. The topping was also rather bland. In addition, a 0.4 liter Cola costs an impressive 5 euros.

Had a very tasty steak with mushrooms and onions, I wasn't asked how the steak should be fried, it was still only slightly pink, but still very tender.👍

Today we went to the Brockenhaus for pizza. We enjoyed it very much, nice atmosphere and nice staff. The small drawback was that both of our pizzas were not hot when served. Still very tasty! We would definitely like to come back!

We were there with a larger group. Nevertheless, the restaurant was anything but full. Since we had of course made reservations well in advance, one would think that the restaurant should be prepared for this. However, it took a whopping 1.5 - 2 hours for the food to arrive after ordering. Drinks were constantly requested during this time, as there seemed to be waiters but not enough cooks. When we commented that we were waiting a long time for our food, one of the waiters replied that it didn't take as long as we said, or that it was delayed because of a handful of appetizers we had ordered. No one in the group was impressed with the service. Unfortunately, the food wasn't excellent either (my tagliatelle with salmon tasted unusually sweet, another guest had pasta that wasn't consistently warm) and couldn't really improve the impression. Overall it was a disappointment.

Little parking space. The pizza is not great but the dough is good, the salad was fresh but not very varied, a little carrot, 1/4 tomato, 2 slices of cucumber, a little sauce. Very clean restaurant and welcoming staff.

Clumsy atmosphere, absolutely randomly furnished somewhere between an old airplane hangar and the living room of a Reich citizen. (?) No concept is recognizable to me (?) The service is attentive, quick and courteous. The food, however, is far too little, carelessly 'garnished' and swimming in a sauce made of flavor enhancers and salt... so the 'cheap' price is probably justified...

A wonderful restaurant in Saarbrücken at Halberg 6. Can only be recommended. Everything was perfect.

We were there a month ago and loved it. After Corona and inflation, many restaurants are downsizing. Raise prices and lower quality. The Brockenhaus is one of the few restaurants that, in my opinion, still offers top quality and service. We were totally surprised when our meat dish was accompanied by a salad and even bread. Back then that was normal, but today it hardly happens anymore. The food was simply great, the service was very friendly and all in all it was the first time in a long time that we enjoyed our trip to the restaurant so much! We thank you for the great evening and your hospitality! See you soon.

We celebrated my father's 90th birthday in the Brockenhaus with 26 people. All employees, including the boss, were extremely friendly and tried to fulfill all (special) requests. Even with 10 children we felt welcome. Everything perfect!

Lt. On the website menu, the “Capricciosa” pizza costs €10.90. When you picked it up yourself from the restaurant, you were charged €14.50 per pizza. What's more, the pizza tasted so bad that 2 out of 3 people didn't want to finish their pizza after trying it and everything ended up in the trash can. We have never had such a bad sauce as a base on a pizza. I wonder how the stars came to be. One thing is clear to us: never again Brockenhaus Saarbrücken!

I was already looking forward to the restaurant when I made my reservation over the phone. Everyone very nice. Food came very promptly and you didn't have to wait long for drinks. Absolutely reasonable in price. Had a starter and 2 pizzas, everything very fresh. I'd love to come back. :)

Crostino, and Abbruzzese salad, you can't complain if you just want something smaller. Creative. Today, in 02-2024, a Pizza Capriciosa, perfect, another Italian before was unfortunately poor. Stone oven.

Despite generally increased prices in the catering industry, the prices here are not justified in relation to the performance/quality. Chipped plates also reduce enjoyment. The service - well…. We will neither recommend the restaurant nor eat there again.

Price performance... without words

Wir waren letzten Samstag im Brockenhaus essen. Obwohl zwei große Gesellschaften da waren,wurden wir wie immer nett und freundlich bedient.Das Essen war wie immer super lecker und wir mussten trotz der vielen Gästen nicht länger darauf warten. Alles bestens,immer wieder gern.

Wir hatten uns am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag auf ein schönes Essen gefreut, wurden aber total enttäuscht. Das Weihnachtsmenü war mit 50 bzw. 60 € nicht die günstig Variante. Wenn alles passt kein Problem. Nach über 1 Stunde kam aber auch erst nach meiner Nachfrage die Vorspeise. Die Vorspeise geräucherter Lachs war wässrig und das Rindercarpaccio ebenso. Danach kam der Salat, dies war aber eher ein Beilagensalat mit Fertigdressing. Der Hauptgang panierter Fisch lag in einer sehr sämigen Sosse, die eher nach Fertigprodukt aussah und schmeckte. Die Tagliatelle waren nur lauwarm. Das Lamm bestand aus 2 sehr kleinen dünnen Stücken und ebenso lag dies in einer nicht definierbaren Sosse, ebenso waren auch hier die Tagliatelle lauwarm. Auf Nachfrage des Service, ob es geschmeckt hat und ich sagte naja, bekam ich schnippig zur Antwort, warum ich denn alles gegessen hätte. Wir hatten bereits fast 2 Std gewartet und einfach nur Hunger. Der Nachtisch war ok, aber auch nicht mehr. Das Ambiente......Die Stühle waren abgerutscht, Löcher im Stoff und die Toiletten haben wir Gott sei Dank erst zum Schluß gesehen, ansonsten hätten wir dort nichts essen können. Das ganze Spektakel kostete 180 €, da erwarte ich etwas anderes. Das an Weihnachten mehr los ist, der Service länger dauert, alles kein Problem, aber ich kann nur jedem von diesem Lokal abraten, was die Qualität angeht.

Bisher waren alle Fleisch- und Nudelgerichte super. Das Personal ist überwiegend sehr freundlich und auf zack. Preis-/ Leistung ist bei fast allen Gerichten auch ok. Eine handvoll kostenloser Parkplätze stehen unmittelbar vorm Restaurant zur Verfügung. Abzüge gibt es beim Ambiente, die Einrichtung ist teilweise stark in die Jahre gekommen. Die Tischanordnung könnte in dem riesigen Saal/Raum sicherlich besser und stilvoller gelöst werden. Dennoch ist ein Besuch zu empfehlen…

Der Raum ist für meinen Geschmack zu groß und nicht gemütlich. Aber optimal geeignet für Personen, die auf einen Rollstuhl angewiesen sind.

Sehr schnelle Lieferung. Portionsgrösse top. Sehr freundlich. Essen sehr gut und gut gewürzt. Hätte nicht mit einem so tollen Lieferservice gerechnet. Rundum zufrieden. Jederzeit wieder.

Im Rahmen einer Firmenfeier mit sehr guten Buffet. Die Spiesen der anderen Gäste (nicht Mitarbeiter) sahen ebenfalls sehr gut aus und hat jedem wohl gut geschmeckt.

Schönes Ambiente mit leckerem Essen und gutem Service. Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam. Für uns hat alles gepasst und wir werden sicher wiederkommen. Ein ganz kleines Manko..... die Portion ( wir hatten Fleisch) waren nicht riesig. Wir sind aber trotzdem satt geworden. Preislich würde ich sagen eher günstig im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants.
