Important if you want to eat there: make a reservation! And unfortunately: At around 8 p.m. the service is hopelessly overwhelmed. Food is very tasty, also has its price... It's a shame that after the first order of food and drinks, none of the service employees came to take a new drink or dessert order during the evening :) or wanted to take away the place setting. We asked several times as staff walked past.

In fact, I have been there several times and have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed during my visit last week. The menu was changed and existing dishes were changed negatively. Unfortunately it just doesn't taste good anymore. The dessert (chocolate soufflé) was ice cold and hard in the middle. The service didn't really care. In fact, there were extremely long waiting times. It was easily 30 minutes between each course. If you wanted to pay, you were left standing first. Apparently too few staff for too many guests? I've loved being there so far and I think it's a real shame how much the restaurant has changed for the worse.

The food tasted very good, the service was very accommodating and polite. All in all a delicious restaurant. 1 point deducted for the relatively high prices.

Ambience like a train station hall, heating off, there is a huge draft, no we weren't sitting at the door. Waited over an hour for the main course, even though there were only 4 tables occupied in front of us. Appetizer plate, as shown in the pictures, could not be ordered or was not offered to us when we asked. When the main course was delivered incorrectly, we left the restaurant, especially since we were "threatened" to wait another hour. So you don't have to go through that again, sorry.

Very cozy shop in the middle of the city. All the employees were super friendly. Unfortunately it took a long time until we received our main courses, but the dessert came relatively quickly. The food was quite good. There are parking garages nearby and it is also easily accessible by public transport.

Today I was back at Breitengrad17 after a long time and was very disappointed. My soup with wonton was simply cut gyozas. The taste of the supper was ok. The duck main course was absolutely disappointing. The duck was not crispy and not tasty. The sauce on the dish had no taste whatsoever. The vegetables are good! I asked the waiter for salt and pepper and he asked me if it didn't taste good, which I said no. After a while he came to the table and said he had tried it and it was indeed very bland, unfortunately the chef was in Vietnam for 6 weeks. When I paid I got a 50% discount on the main course, which was ok, but I would have preferred to eat well. The drinks came after the appetizer! There were only 2 service staff in the restaurant, but they were super friendly and accommodating.

Nice atmosphere, but lunch is cheap and good.

We had dinner with a group of about 15 people on a Thursday evening in latitude 17 in mid-December. When we arrived the restaurant was almost full. You could tell that it was stressful because we had to wait at the entrance for almost 10 minutes until we were brought to our table. When we were at the table it took another 20 minutes to get the drinks and after another 10 minutes they came. The food was also received a little delayed but brought comparatively quickly. The service was visibly stressed and, in our opinion, there were too few employees. Despite the stress level, questions and requests were always answered in a friendly and polite manner. Towards the end it became more relaxed as the restaurant had emptied out a bit and dessert was served quickly. The taste of the food was very good, both the starter platter, the main course and dessert. The prices are usual for Stuttgart, rather in the upper price segment. Overall, it was a delicious evening; there is still some potential for optimization when it comes to the topic of “customer orientation”. Therefore I can give it a good 4 stars. Oh yes: WiFi is available for free from the DM above 😉

Real 5 out of 5 stars for the latitude 17! Very tasty food, attentive service and a tasteful ambience. We recommend Breitengrad 17 to all friends and acquaintances if they want to enjoy authentic Vietnamese food. Particularly worth mentioning is the kindness and attentiveness of the good Nina! We would love to come back!

I ate a Pho Bo for the second time, the first time it was delicious, but what I ate today was subpar. Not recommended!

One of the worst and more irrespective service I’ve had in my live. The food is very good m. The price is adequate.

We were registered with 12 people, everything went well, the waitresses were very friendly and the food was very tasty. We all ordered a dish that was unfamiliar to us and were surprised by the good taste and decoration of the plates. Definitely recommended.

An absolute tip in Stuttgart. Breitengrad 17 impresses with a beautiful atmosphere, authentic cuisine and first-class service. The dishes are perfectly seasoned and freshly prepared. Particularly noteworthy is the attention to detail - from the presentation of the food to the hospitality of the team. Anyone who loves creative cuisine should not miss this experience. We'll definitely be back.

We hosted our Christmas party at Latitude 17 and the food, service and ambience were excellent. Rarely have I had such buttery salmon, and the chicken and vegetables were also wonderful. Putting on such a great meal for 100 people or more is really a challenge, all expectations were exceeded! Thank you for the lovely evening, we'll be back!

Nice restaurant but unfortunately the food was very disappointing for the high prices. Three mink dry, heavily fried gyoza for 7€... the chicken skewers with sesame sauce were very mixed/cartilage... the curry tasted good but the meat was also mixed and not worth 19.50€... Service was friendly, but we were given the appetizer plates pulled away from our faces when the main courses came and didn't even ask for more drinks during a 1.5 hour visit.

They took great care of my request for reservation! Good food, I can only recommend it!

We were in Stuttgart for a business trip. We were invited to the Breitengrad 17 restaurant. We were very satisfied. It was a beautiful, calm and sophisticated atmosphere. I can recommend it in just one word.

Very authentic Vietnamese cuisine

Four of us had dinner and we had four different dishes. I tried everything and found it very interesting and tasty. The service was also very timely, despite the store being full. Very healthy menu selection. It's worth it!

An extraordinary evening thanks to a wonderful team! We visited this restaurant for a special occasion - my birthday - and the team made the evening unforgettable. We had expressed some special requests in advance and the staff implemented everything perfectly. The attention to detail and personal attention were simply remarkable. A wonderful weekend at the Vietnamese restaurant Breitengrad 17! We visited Latitude 17 over the weekend, and although it was very busy, we were more than satisfied. The welcome was warm and the ambience was very pleasant, which immediately created a relaxed atmosphere. The food was excellent and authentic, prepared with great attention to detail. Despite the high workload, the staff made a lot of effort and we felt completely comfortable. It's clearly a place we'd like to return to. I'm not necessarily a big fan of food because it just doesn't suit my taste buds. Nevertheless, it is very pleasant and friendly. It has to be good too because people really enjoy it😅

The beautiful restaurant was very busy and the food and drinks were delicious. Unfortunately, the service was not attentive, we had to wait a long time for our food, which came one after the other, which is why we couldn't eat together. Price-performance ratio is okay.

We were there this weekend and everything was great. Even though it was a busy Saturday, we had an evening with my friends that exceeded my expectations. Excellent food, excellent service and a cozy atmosphere! The service was attentive, friendly but not intrusive.

Disappointing Experience: A Lesson in Bias I rarely write negative reviews, but our recent experience deserves attention. We arrived without a reservation, hoping to enjoy a meal, and were told there were no available tables. While this can happen, what occurred next was disheartening. Just moments after, two German-speaking individuals—also without a reservation—were given a table without hesitation. It’s hard not to feel that our status as foreigners played a role in this decision. We would have understood if there were genuinely no tables, but the inconsistent treatment left a bitter taste. A restaurant’s hospitality should be welcoming to everyone, regardless of where they are from or the language they speak. We left feeling unwelcome and disappointed. I hope the management reflects on this to ensure every guest is treated with the same respect and warmth.

Addendum: Even at lunchtime it was back to the usual top level. Always changing dishes at reasonable prices. An absolute must both in the evening and at lunchtime! Breitengrad has been one of my favorites for a delicious but also very affordable lunch for years. Unfortunately only 4 stars because they don't change the menu anymore and you only have 4 dishes to choose from. Nevertheless, it always tastes great! But I can particularly recommend the starters. The “Sup Chay” is so delicious and I have never eaten it so well before. The Breitengrad also has a lot to offer in the evenings. But be careful!! The card contains my absolute insider tip, the FIRE POT. You have to pre-order this. There you can get for just 30 euros per person. a super tasty broth with lots of tofu, shrimp and chicken. There are also rice noodles and a HUGE plate of vegetables and herbs. You have to eat this! I would also like to talk about the service again. The waiters are very nice and accommodating. Changes (because you don't like or tolerate something) are actually always possible. The team creates a great atmosphere and makes you enjoy the food even more.

Lunch was quite good, small selection, came reasonably quickly. Unfortunately, there was a lack of attention and friendliness on the part of the service: our table still had stains that we cleaned ourselves, and we also had to take care of the cutlery and napkins ourselves because the food was just put on the table. No greeting, no farewell, no thanks for the tip. Too bad.

We were there for lunch. The service seemed a bit apathetic (or stressed...). Food was good, the rice was a bit dry on top but edible. The rest of the dish was very tasty and reasonably priced for a lunch menu. There was even half a passion fruit floating in the drink. There's half an apple for dessert.

Wir hätten gleich wieder das Lokal verlassen sollen. Lage im underground der Stuttgarter Innenstadt, wenig Gäste, klebrige Holztische und darauf demonstrativ Messer und Gabel. Stäbchen gabs nur auf Nachfrage. Erste Bestellung sollten Sommerrollen mit Garnelen sein. Die seien ausverkauft. Hallo? Sommerrollen werden in guten Restaurants immer frisch zubereitet. Wir bestellten dummerweise die noch vorhandenen Sommerrollen mit Tofu - mit dem Resultat, dass die Reispapierblätter bereits hart und trocken waren. Der Rest war entsprechend. Nie wieder!

There was no cleanliness in the restaurant. Dirty menus and uncleaned, sometimes sticky seating. The taste of the food was average at best. For the price you can expect significantly better quality and more taste.

Resteraunt looks really great. Nice ambience! Unfortunately the red curry was a little bland. But we definitely still go there to eat often.

Super delicious food at fair prices

Unfortunately, I was given misinformation regarding allergens. I was simply lied to today and now I have to endure the consequences. People with celiac disease have to avoid gluten for the rest of their lives and cannot tolerate even trace amounts of it. The menu did not contain any allergen labeling and for me direct communication is the easiest and safest solution, which is why I approached the manager to find out more and, to be on the safe side, explained the correct preparation but also the risks of contamination. After consulting with the kitchen, I was assured three times that my food was prepared entirely GF and that care was taken. After all, there are plenty of restaurants that know about this and in fact this restaurant was recommended by a friend who has the same illness. When I finished eating almost half of my plate, I was told that my food wasn't gluten-free, which made me very angry and I wasn't able to leave the restaurant at that moment because I had to vomit several times. Unfortunately in my case it is very dangerous. People who do not have the disease do not know or imagine the consequences of a gluten attack. But being lied to about this despite repeated requests is simply brazen, unacceptable and against the law. I would not recommend anyone who has any allergens or illnesses to eat at this restaurant. Unfortunately, they don't know each other at all. After my visit today, I also doubt whether the cooking here is hygienic.

It's my first time trying a Vietnamese hotpot and it was mind-blowingly good. The soup base is sweet and sour with some refreshing and pungent herbs. Be sure to contact them and specify hotpot if you are going! Thanks for this unique experience! :)

Was at the Love Pop Pride on Saturday, unfortunately the staff at the event committed fraud twice. In this latitude a deposit was required (2€) on BOTTLES! I bought 4 beers, I wasn't given any tokens, the place wasn't very busy at the time, the bar was constantly empty. When I wanted to hand over the 4 beers 15 minutes later, he didn't give me my deposit back because I didn't have any tokens. He just said cheekily that he had never seen me here that evening. Yep, it’s clear. How should a customer know that there is a brand system if it is not advertised? Since deposits don't make any sense anyway, since there were bouncers everywhere, I'll put it there. That was just a classic rip-off and taking advantage of the deposit system. The other time, down in the Whitenoise, the bartender simply tried to charge more money for 3 beers, when asked why it cost more as stated, he then gave the correct price, visibly caught himself and then quickly turned away. Just do your job and you'll get tips. Absolutely impossible and lastingly damaging behavior for the club and restaurant!

We had a great dinner in a cozy atmosphere. I made a reservation online and wanted a “nice” table for the birthday child, but I wasn’t expecting such a nice surprise. The table was beautifully set, there was even a large vase of lilies on the place setting. Many thanks to Akin at this point!

If you get there in time you can get a table even on the weekend. It gets full quickly. Service was ok and so was the food. Price/performance just okay.

When you come in, you are immediately greeted by a member of staff and given a table. There was a children's chair, but unfortunately it was already occupied. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food didn't take long to arrive, but we had arrived at the very beginning and there was only 1 other occupied table besides us. So I don't know what it would be like if it was full. And it got busy very quickly while we were eating. The gyoza were very tasty, spring rolls (you get 2 larger ones) had no taste. The main courses were okay, I could have imagined better for the price. The ramen had no umami taste, it was just vinegar water. I ordered one with mushrooms, but there was only a small one in it. The cocktail (Virgin Mojito), on the other hand, was very tasty, it was slightly spicy. The other main courses were a little dry, there was a small bowl of sauce, but far too little. The atmosphere was very clean and tidy, very stylishly decorated.

The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, instead of a non-alcoholic cocktail, I (pregnant) was brought a Caipirinha with alcohol. Luckily I noticed that after the first sip, but it's still a no-go! My friend was served a vegan dish with meat in dough balls. She also only realized when she tried it that her dish had meat... Neither should happen, I think.

A really recommendable restaurant that we found spontaneously and by chance. Despite the spontaneity, we got a good place. The food was very tasty and was prepared quickly. The portions are large, so you can't leave the restaurant hungry. The employees were all really friendly and funny, which made us feel very comfortable. All in all, the price-performance ratio is more than satisfactory. That's why the 5 stars are more than deserved.

Nice Vietnamese restaurant. Since we arrived later, we found a place even without a reservation. The lemonades are recommended as well as the duck.

Food was very tasty and beautifully prepared. Unfortunately the table wasn't that great. Since the latitude is a bit hall-like, we got a table in the “center of the hall”. I didn't feel so comfortable there. In addition, despite the cool weather, the entire window front was open and it was very unpleasant to get a draft in the evenings. We were not informed about the end of the kitchen time, so ordering the desserts was more like a loud discussion at the market. Guests should always be asked if they would like anything else before anything is closed or turned off and you can stay seated longer due to the opening time. Topic “Last round of whatever”. Oh yes, and the completely open fronts invite four-legged visitors to come in...and by that I mean the mice from the surrounding properties such as the subway station and underpass. In the last 45 minutes of our stay, I was able to observe two of them who were visibly comfortable exploring and running back and forth among the now rather empty tables and through the decorative maze. I didn't say anything...because I didn't want to cause panic among those present. And it wouldn't have been news for the operators...the animals obviously behaved at home on their running routes. It happens in Stuttgart's old town, but you should do something there if necessary.

Always delicious and basically a short trip to Vietnam for food :) We can highly recommend delicious cocktails and especially the dessert with the baked banana. Be sure to reserve in advance and allow for a few minutes of waiting time. In return you will be served in a friendly manner (by the boss). Only the aperitif prices in the menu were slightly different from the drinks menu. But that is now being corrected :)

Das Restaurant wirkt sauber und stilvoll. Leider hatte weder das Essen, noch die Bedienung viel mit Vietnam gemein. Preislich im höheren Sektor, hätten wir zumindest gelerntes Servicepersonal erwartet. Fachwissen über die Karte war faktisch nicht vorhanden. Das bestellte Essen wurde falsch boniert, geschmacklich unabhängig der Falschaufnahme, ungewürzt und kalt. Dafür waren die Elektroistallationen (Verwaister Stecker im Herr WC, loses Brett,..) und auch die Steckerleiste an der Bar, Vietnam typisch. In Vietnam isst man mit Stäbchen! Verpackte Einweg-Stäbchen oder welche aus Metall hätten wir erwartet. Leider sind nach Nachfrage mit 10min Wartezeit unverpackte Kunststoff/Holz Stäbchen(Hygiene) ein no go.

The restaurant looks clean and stylish. Unfortunately, neither the food nor the service had much in common with Vietnam. Given the price in the higher sector, we would have expected at least trained service staff. There was virtually no specialist knowledge of the map. The food we ordered was labeled incorrectly, the taste was independent of the incorrect intake, it was unseasoned and cold. The electrical installations (orphaned plug in the toilet, loose board, etc.) and also the power strip at the bar were typical of Vietnam. In Vietnam you eat with chopsticks! We would have expected packaged disposable sticks or ones made of metal. Unfortunately, upon request, unpackaged plastic/wooden sticks (hygiene) are a no-go with a 10-minute waiting time.

We chose the Dutch oven, which was delicious. However, it has already been noticed that they don't have enough people on the team. You had to wait quite a long time for the food. When we wanted to have dessert at the end, the employee told us that it could take up to 45 minutes. While the team was friendly and nice, when the restaurant is so understaffed the whole experience suffers.

Food is good when it arrives. It arrived cold for us. I would advise against mango sticky rice, it's just coconut milk pudding with mango. We sat in the cozy corner at the back, but unfortunately it was quite dusty. Because we weren't served well and by many different people, we were asked rather intrusively how much we wanted to tip.

It's really nice to sit in this otherwise desolate place. The service was good and friendly. The summer rolls were rather boring, as were the other dishes. The will to be better than mediocre is somewhat lacking.

One of the restaurants where you like to go. It has a charm and it's fun to immerse yourself in a new world. The food is culinary and delicious and it's fun to be there for hours and just lose yourself. Because of the many corners you are not on display, but can easily stay undercover. The conditions were very good, but when we went in there was a woman serving in her pink sports outfit. A bit inappropriate at a price of 60 EUR per person. Otherwise: 4.5/5 stars.

Nur zu Beginn, als es um die Auswahl der Getränke und Speisen ging, kam jemand proaktiv an den Tisch (und es war echt nicht viel los). Danach musste man auf Augenkontakt hoffen um die Servicekraft herbeizurufen. Getränk und Vorspeise (2 winzig kleine Frühlingsrollen für 6 € - nicht i.O.) kamen schnell. Es dauerte jedoch über 1/2 stunde bis jemand die Vorspeise abräumte. Die Hauptspeise war leider geschmacklich auch enttäuschend. Die Erdnusssoße suchte man vergebens. Nach dem unsere zweite geträngebestellung nach 20 Minuten nicht kam, mussten wir nochmals nachfragen. Das Ambiente ist schön, das war es aber leider auch schon.

Waiting times are a little longer, but you're happy to accept that :) All in all I can recommend it and have always been satisfied. Even as a vegetarian/vegan you get your money's worth!

Visited Breitengrad 17 during a work visit with colleagues. I had the duck bun dish and it was absolutely incredible. The duck was crispy and moist and came with a large portion of noodles, vegetables and gyoza. The service was also very good and the staff were friendly. All of us enjoyed our meals and I’ll definitely be returning when I’m back in Stuttgart!

Hand aufs Herz, abgesehen von den Keramikplatten, auf denen das Essen serviert wird, und dem Ambiente, stimmte nichts anderes. Das Hauptgericht kostet über 20 Euro, und für dieses Geld sieht man keine “normale “ Portion Fleisch, sondern einen Berg grünen Salat. Gekaufte Sosen usw, aber schön „verpackt „ … schön für Instagram , weniger fürs Magen 😂 Das Wasser kommt aus dem Wasserhahn und kostet fast 7 E. Show, Show, Show für dumme Leute. Nie wieder.

Sylvester hatten wir a la carte reserviert. Vor Ort gab es dann nur Buffet zu 60 Euro. Mehere Tischnachbarn waren auch verärgert. Wir sind wieder gegangen. Unseriös!

Erstes und letztes Mal. Der Service war schrecklich und unhöflich, bis auf die beiden Männer. Das Essen „schien“ gut zu sein, als ich es dann aß, bemerkte ich die schlechte Qualität und als ich nach Hause kam, wurde mir klar, dass das Essen von schlechter Qualität war, weil ich schnell auf die Toilette musste. Nie wieder!!! Schrecklich!

Verstehe die positiven Beurteilungen nicht so ganz. Sehr einfaches verkochtes oder bei Fleisch auch zähes Essen. Auch etwas geschmacksfrei. Komme gerade aus N.Y. dort ist jeder vietnamesische Imbiss authentischer und exponentiell besser.

Das Abendessen sah gut aus und war geschmacklich erstmal lecker. Staff war etwas gestresst und unmotiviert, obwohl nicht allzu viel los war. Schönes Ambiente im Lokal, hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Nur leider meinem Magen nicht - nachts ging es dann los mit Magen-Darm, was mich dann 3 Tage lang mit vollem Programm auf Trab gehalten hat.
