Unfortunately, the service outside was terrible. The food was also terrible. Potato dumplings without any breadcrumbs inside, the sauce was thick and artificial, and the crust wasn't particularly hot (due to the slow pace early in the evening). The meat was given to a dog, who enjoyed it. A shame considering the location! Not worth the money! Luckily, there are other restaurants nearby where you'll feel more comfortable.

Friendly, attentive staff. Excellent Bavarian cuisine.

Passing by we like the place. Difficult to understand the language but I find a waitress excellent translator. We try pork (like porchetta) spectacular with beer sauce. Kind, smiling and fast. Warm and clean environment. 58 euros 3 complete dishes, 3 small beers and 1 coffee.

The food is good, the service is okay.

Long waiting time at reception, shady table, smallest portions at the highest prices. In detail: Roast pork, 2 mini dumplings, the meat consisted of four tattered individual parts that were riddled with fat. Unfortunately no photo was taken, but the presentation was subpar and the two stars for the food are only for the good taste. Fish also mini portion and disappeared in thick breading. The waitress just happened to come by. Payment process took forever. The restaurant was busy on Mother's Day, but by no means full. They couldn't do that either. All in all, four people failed.

We went to the Bräustübl for dinner. The atmosphere is old-fashioned - rustic. Totally my thing. Everything was very well maintained. Less than 10 minutes passed from ordering to serving. The service was friendly. The food, with plenty of choice, home-style and delicious. The prices are ok. I can recommend the inn with a clear conscience.

Excellent, traditional Bavarian cuisine with good quality and portions to fill you up. There are changing daily specials on the tables and also a good selection of vegetarian dishes. The decor is classic, the service is friendly and fast. There are large tables for up to 8 people.

The food was very good, the atmosphere was very tasteful and cozy, and what made me very happy was that I got a small glass of Salvator! That's not so common in Bavaria, usually there are always these huge tankards of beer, which usually makes me order a glass of wine! See you again soon!

Unfortunately we weren't very enthusiastic or convinced. However, the service was very motivated and friendly on the phone as well as in the restaurant. Despite all this, I would neither recommend this restaurant nor come back. Of all the onion roasts I've eaten so far, this one unfortunately took last place. Everything was just terribly greasy...unfortunately there was no real sauce, just oil and no taste. The onions were terrible, mushy and soaked in fat, there was no crunch that you expect and want from an onion roast. Some onions are even raw inside. Meat quality...okay but not crazy either, uneven degree, large piece of meat but no taste at all. Cream schnitzel was very good, pork medallions on cheese spaetzle were okay. We were very disappointed with the roast pork, the meat consisted almost entirely of fat and was not enjoyable and we almost returned it entirely. Decoration on the plates very old-fashioned, furnishings very dark and nothing special. We came with high expectations and were rather disappointed. Maybe we had a bad day. Well, thank you for the food anyway.

I've already given the restaurant several chances and have already left quite a bit of money there because the atmosphere is actually nice. But I will never come back now. Unfortunately, the food was always very bad, often lukewarm and of very cheap quality. Totally overpriced for that. The service is actually the worst. Last time the waitress actually threw my plate at me. Waiting times are endless. There are many good alternatives in Planegg. Cannot recommend this place under any circumstances.

It's been my favorite for many years. But disappointed today. Don't shovel softly. Deer good, but small portion with little meat. More sauce (for at least 20 euros). Pumpkin soup good, but not hot. Everyone eats rather lukewarm today. Apfelkűcherl, apple hard. Only 3 mini cakes per portion and apples are pretty hard. Too bad. Wasn't much fun today. But service was very friendly.

Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Unfortunately the same menu has been around for years. For vegetarians 4 dishes and the same food forever. Very boring. But what you get tastes great. Without a reservation, if you're lucky, you'll sit at the cat table and have strangers seated at the table. Very uncomfortable and unpleasant.

I was there on Wednesday, unfortunately the food was pretty bad, otherwise it was mostly very good

1.Ordered roast pork. Receive. 2.Ordered pretzels. There isn't. 3.Ordered bread. Receive So, and and now I've finally been able to eat. The knife was very sharp. So I was able to cut the delicious crust as intended. The crust was from the same animal as the meat, which is not a given in the greater Munich area. The portion was generous and I was pretty full, which isn't so easy these days. Otherwise I don't want to provide any further expertise. But I don't want to leave it unmentioned that I enjoyed it relatively well. And my premium SUV was undamaged in the parking lot opposite, ready to leave. I will definitely come back at some point, if my usually busy schedule allows it. I would like to allow the service team to welcome me as a guest again.

I'm writing the review while I'm still sitting here drinking my lager. The very pleasantly cold beer took 1 minute from ordering to being served. No joke, but it gets even better! Now for the pork roast (which only took 2 minutes! Where can you get that??): I have never tasted such tender, juicy and flavorful roast pork. I got two slices that were thicker than my thumb with really very crispy and delicious rind. There was also a bread dumpling and a raw potato dumpling (already cooked, but made from raw potatoes). And finally enough sauce. Not just a puddle, but the whole plate floated! The service was very friendly and quick, the atmosphere was typically Bavarian, cozy, and yet very clean and tidy.

Good middle-class restaurant with a nice beer garden. Simply quaint inside. The food is good to very good and the value for money is really ok. Good and rare around here, the Schäufele! Crust was very good, the meat would have needed perhaps 20 minutes longer in the oven to "fall off the bone"! But the taste is ok! The service is always very nice and courteous! So a place to visit often!

Location absolutely nice and quaint. Next door is the stream. Service was okay too. I gave myself the fillet plate with cheese spaetzle for €21.90. Even though it was very good, I think the price was steep for the 3 small chunks of meat. €16.90 would certainly have done it, but that is probably the Munich surcharge. In any case, I wasn't really full afterward, especially since the cheese sparrows weren't very filling either. I don't understand why you don't make slightly larger portions, after all the effort is almost identical, and the main components of the final price are not the materials, but the staff, the rent and the profit.

Just there for a short time and the inn made a good impression. In the summer we will visit the beer garden! Several times already, today again!

I've been coming here sporadically for years. Have always been very satisfied so far. But on July 10th, my partner ordered a CRETE SALAD. What do you imagine by that? Crisp and fresh. What did we get? A collapsed lettuce mash that has probably been sitting in water or in a dressing for hours. We complained about that too. Thanks to the service, the amount EUR 17.80!! was canceled. I only rate the food here, not the service. By the way, my second beer looked more like dishwater. No foam. Sorry at this price level, I'd rather not do it anymore.

The food tasted very good and the portion size was also good. The waiting time was very short and 5 people including me brought the food to me at the same time despite different orders of meat and fish. Moderately priced, I would describe the ambience as classic, clean and cozy.

We came here spontaneously and unfortunately had no chance of getting a seat in the beer garden without a reservation. But you can also sit comfortably inside. The staff is very friendly. We all really enjoyed the food and the price-performance ratio was very good. It's a shame we were only in Munich for one evening!

Very great restaurant, we always go there to eat when we are in the area😉👌 and have been for several years. In summer you can eat outside very well, very pleasant. The service is always very nice, especially David is a very nice person and very attentive. Hopefully we will see him again in December, he didn't know that yet because of his studies. You must not miss this restaurant if you are near the town of Planegg!!! The food, the atmosphere, and the staff are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!! We ate here three nights in a row because the food was so delicious and the staff extremely friendly! David, Luis, and Anna were the best servers and so attentive. My family and I ordered 10 different meals over our stay and each one made us want to come back and try more! The outside patio garden is the most beautiful and relaxing place to have a meal and relax. Thank you so much, we will be back on our next trip when we are in the Munich area!

The inn is located in an old, rustic building with a small guest garden. It's rather loud inside, and it got surprisingly warm in the fairly full room. There are pork medallions with pepper sauce and noodles, and two asparagus with various side dishes. Plus a mixed salad, which turns out to be leaf spinach with cucumbers. Well, different countries, different customs. I didn't even know that they also breed miniature pigs in Bavaria, the medallions really weren't that big. Unfortunately, the number of pieces didn't completely make up for it, because the taste of the pork was great. But the (cheaper) noodles were a whole mountain. And the amount of pepper sauce (could have tasted intense, but with whole grains) was also right. The opinion of my companion was similar. The taste was very good, but it could have been more. All right. The service is friendly, but sometimes seems slightly overwhelmed. I miss asking directly if I want anything else. And that in Bavaria. But when you point the finger, you react immediately. So we're not talking about conscious ignoring. What should it. Really quaint, all orders are written down on pieces of paper. I'm more of a fan of modern gastronomy, but it works here. A small downer. With three schnapps, one was served in a completely inappropriate glass. The prices of all products are in the range you would expect near Munich. Conclusion: Actually pretty easy. Solid, but not a brilliant performance. No chance of the highest grade but too good for 3 stars, makes 4/5

I am happy to give 5 stars in all areas because I always feel comfortable in this restaurant, have always eaten very well and have always experienced friendly staff. A lot of guests probably feel this way, as the restaurant is very busy during the usual peak times. The menu and additional offers offer delicious selections of good home-style cuisine, a suitable selection of beers and alternative drinks. The entire ambience may seem rustic, but it is certainly not out of date. On the contrary, it exudes peace, comfort and conviviality.

After a hike we stopped at the restaurant. I ordered the meat patties with potato salad. Plus a spec. It was very delicious. The service was friendly, helpful and prompt. The atmosphere is cozy.

Good replacement for other good Schafkopf restaurants. The food is good and in the price range of the competitors. Wood-clad walls, wooden floors and comfortably worn tables and chairs create a warm cosiness. The lack of background music does not make communication easier or more difficult. The sanitary facilities are apparently up to standard and well maintained. Digital images of the surroundings, printed out in high resolution, show that you are not stuck in the past.

I had a business lunch here and had a very nice evening. I really enjoyed the Old Bavarian Schnitzel and I recommend that all schnitzel lovers try it, it's worth it.

We ended up at the Bäustüberl again today, were welcomed very friendly and were immediately shown to a nice table despite not having a reservation. We chose the onion roast from the menu and were thrilled. The fried potatoes are a poem, and then the meat. Fried delicately pink and not a trace of tendon or flax, just tender steak, we were impressed.

It was better, the portion was smaller but more expensive. Quality is no longer as good as it was a few weeks ago.

Von außen echt nett, aber sobald es an den Service geht, vergeht es einem. Alles was man bestellt ist nicht mehr verfügbar. Wenn man am Tag vorher sein Essen vorbestellt, ist es auch nicht da. Ein Bräuhaus in dem Nürnberger mit Sauerkraut oder Germknödel nicht mehrere Tage hintereinander trotz Vorbestellung nicht da sind ist echt schwach. Kann ich echt nicht empfehlen.
