Bräustüberl in Freyung

A beautiful inn, well done, a successful combination of the old elements - such as the leaded glass from the previous building and the newly renovated interior with various small rooms. Plus the good Freyunger beer. An inn like a place like this needs. Also suitable for a quick snack.

Food was good and the service was friendly. Prices are also good for the portion size, but I find the portions a bit small.

Since we really like drinking Lang's beer, we wanted to try out the Bräustüberl during our stay in Freyung. Unfortunately, the visit was a cathedral: we were placed in a back room (despite reservations) and then ignored. After 15 minutes the waiter finally came with the menu. Then we were ignored again. We then left without eating anything...

Very nice people, great food, fast service

Good cuisine and friendly people, we really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend the Bräustüberl.

Wanted on November 1st. We stopped there at 12.20 p.m. and were sent away after waiting 10 minutes because, according to the waiter, the boss was no longer accepting guests, even though according to the board at the entrance there was hot food until 1.15 p.m., never again...

Despite many reserved tables on Friday evening, the extremely friendly and courteous staff made it possible for us to have a very good quality dinner and drink in peace. This restaurant is definitely recommended.

The food and the delicious beer are usually worth ten stars. The ambience and the service were excellent. Thank you for the great days with you!

We went hiking and then happened to stop at the Bräustüberl for lunch! The food and the ambience are very, very good and harmonious! By chance we started talking to the boss... She told us that she only took over the brewery a year ago! She is the perfect “landlady” and completes everything! Even as a “foreigner” you feel at home here! We'll definitely be back 🤗👍🏼🤭🍀

Beautiful old building, sleek and new inside. Great food, good portions and prices, very friendly staff and good beer!

The food, schnitzel, spaetzle with sauce, chicken nuggets, were very tasty. Finally real chicken and not pre-prepared ones. The liver dumpling soup was delicious. The Kaiserschmarren didn't hear the children's blow. 😂 We were so fast that we forgot to take photos. The service was friendly and the food came out of the kitchen quickly. The furnishings are friendly, bright and cozy. If we're in the area again, we'd love to come back.

Quiet place, with a small beer garden

Very successfully renovated, great kitchen! Went to the Bräustüberl recently and were really impressed. The dishes were top. The staff was on their toes and very, very friendly. You should definitely use the Schwemm in the entrance area 😉

The Stüberl is beautifully newly furnished in Alpine style. It has a cozy charm. The food (duck breast) was very, very good. Of course the beer tastes great!!!

First of all, the food is very tasty and the prices are fair. The service left a somewhat bad impression, as it wasn't always particularly friendly to other guests. The crowning glory: Since there was no sauce other than pepper sauce for one dish, we ordered something else - with sauce as well. Of course, you were served horse sauce with it, even though it was known that it wasn't wanted - when asked, we received an unfriendly statement - we don't have anything else here. Well thank you, some information when ordering would be nice and then extra money would be charged for it...

I have been to the restaurant several times over the past few weeks and can fully recommend it. Excellent cuisine, warm service and a pleasant atmosphere come together here. The dishes on the menu were tried out and I was positively impressed by each one. The dishes taste excellent and are visually appealing. The service deserves special praise. The staff is not only professional, but also exceptionally friendly and attentive. Here you can see the passion for their work. I'm already looking forward to my next visit Bräustüberl.

Wir sind wieder nach dem Skifahren eingekehrt. Bier, Essen + Service klasse, tolles Ambiente.

Tolle Gaststätte, gemütlich und modern. Sehr nette Bedienung. Sehr kurze Wartezeit. Speisekarte mit vielfältiger Auswahl. Wir waren mehrere Male mittags da. Das Essen war immer sehr gut und lecker!

Gaststätte sehr zu empfehlen. Brauerei mit Gaststätte. Schönes Ambiente nettes Personal und sehr gutes Essen für vernünftige Preise. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Sehr schön eingerichtet. Essen schmeckt klasse und es dauert auch nicht lange, bis man seine Bestellung bekommt. Als Vegetarier hat man allerdings keine Alternative zum Salat-Teller. Geh trotzdem wieder gern hin!

Rustikale Gastwirtschaft. Übersichtliche Karte mit typisch bayrischen Essen. Mehr Auswahl braucht es auch nicht. Das Essen ist lecker und hat genau die richtige Größe.

Essen war gut, Bedienung freundlich. Wir durften mit den Hunden rein was auch sehr schön war. Preise völlig in Ordnung. Toilettensauberkeit ließ jedoch zu wünschen übrig. Auf dem Damenklo überschwemmte man sämtliche Toiletten wenn bei einer Toilette die Spülung gedrückt wurde. Deshalb gibts bei Ambiente einen Stern Abzug.

Das Essen war gut, reichlich und schnell am Tisch! Am Sonntag den 28.8. hatten wir eine Dame als Bedingung, diese war nett und freundlich, heute wurden wir von einem Mann bedient. Dieser war etwas muffig!

Mir ist schon klar, dass der Frachkraeftemangel in der Gastro besonders zugeschlagen hat. Man darf fast froh sein, wenn man ueberhaupt jemanden findet. Aber das was ich da erlebt habe haette nicht sein muessen. Essen war ok und beim Schweinsbraten mit einem Knoedel, Krautsalat und Spezi sind 16 Euro ok. Die ortsansaessige Teilzeitkneipe kann das allerdings besser. Aber man kann das BS FRG durchaus empfehlen. Wuerden die nur Ihre Gaeste direkt anhalten nicht im Gastraum zu telefonieren, dann waere noch ein Stern mehr drin gewesen. Das darf man auch als Wirt durchaus sagen. Denn das ist eine Unhoeflichkeit sondergleichen und stoert den guten Gesamteindruck.

Essen war inordung, nur etwas lieblos angerichtet. Serivekraft riss uns leider die Teller noch mit dem letzten Happen im Mund bereits weg. Ambiente draußen nicht gemütlich. Was leider garnicht ging war das die Servicekräfte direkt neben dran Stehtisch zum Rauchen nutzten noch während unseres Essens. Man merkt leider das Freundlichkeit nicht von Herzen kommt.

Wäre der Gastraum kein "Durchgangszimmer" mit laut zuknallenden Türen, gäbe es mehr Sterne.

Wir hatten einen sehr gemütlichen Abend.

Eine sehr gute Küche immer wieder

Sehr schön renoviertes altes Wirtshaus. Unbedingt reservieren! Essen war sehr lecker. Service war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich.

Sehr gute bürgerliche Küche, die Bedienung ist freundlich und schnell, leider kann man das von der Küche nicht sagen, wir haben über 1 Std. Auf das Essen gewartet, dass aber sehr gut war. Man muss auch dazu sagen, dass das Brauhaus gut besucht war. Also geht das mit der langen Wartezeit schon in Ordnung.
