Brauhaus-Stub'n Solln in München

Today we had a reservation and originally wanted to go to the brewery at 6 p.m. Since the weather was nice, we were there at 4:30 p.m. and wanted to sit outside in the sun. Unfortunately everything is reserved in the sun and we should take a seat at the entrance to the beer garden. The idea was to stay longer because of the nice weather, but the boss said the street was quiet and rejected the nice seats for us several times. Throughout the entire evening, the good seats were unoccupied and we were annoyed by the street and the boss. The map is boring anyway. That's why they lost us as regular customers!

Food was very tasty. Cheese spaetzle is particularly good. The service was very friendly. There was a room for kids to play. We'll be back.

The most important thing in advance: TOP address for fine Bavarian cuisine! The Hanisch family and their team regularly spoil my family, friends and me (1-2 times a month) with their delicacies: on the one hand there is the "standard menu" (plentiful, something for everyone and super tasty food), but on the other hand there are also daily recommendations. Since we often go out to eat there in summer and winter (especially on Sundays), it never gets boring when it comes to the selection and always as a menu with a starter, main course and dessert. The portions are decent, you definitely won't go home "sober"! The food is upscale (good, high-quality ingredients) and always freshly prepared: nothing ready-made out of the bag or anything like that in other restaurants (e.g. the soups or sauces are genuine and really tasty). No matter whether soup, salad, roast, schnitzel, poultry, fish or dessert: every dish is always prepared with love and exactly to the point - both the main course and side dishes (definitely not overcooked - as in other reviews). The entire service team (but especially Anja - our standard server) is always on their toes, with a joke on their lips and takes care of us - neither letting us die of thirst nor starve. I would particularly like to mention the foresight: we usually reserve a table in advance and state when making the reservation that we have a dog. We ALWAYS get a quiet corner table so that even our four-legged friend can curl up. So it doesn't bother us, the staff or other guests. And it goes without saying that the dog gets a water bowl (in the beer garden the bowl is self-service and can be refilled independently at the tap). In addition to the modern-traditional interior of the restaurant, the typical Munich inn garden invites you to linger in summer. In the shade of old chestnut trees, the beer and the food taste twice as good. As far as the price or the price-performance ratio is concerned, I would like to give another 5 out of 5 points: absolutely the right ratio if you want high-quality cuisine! If you really let it rip (3-course menu with at least 2 drinks per person plus coffee), then you might make it to €150. But it takes a lot of effort and is worth it! The only downside: if you don't have a dog and therefore sit in the middle of the restaurant (no edge/corner table) it can be a little loud. But only affects the interior. Tip for all drivers: since the brewery is very busy on Sundays and the parking lot is therefore full, it's better to park on Grünbauerstrasse or something like that. In this respect: definitely stop by and try it out!!! And to the Hanisch family: Thank you for making this traditional restaurant flourish again!

We went there on a recommendation and the food was very good. The service was very friendly.

We go to the brewery often and it's great every time. The whole team is super friendly and really on the ball. The food is always delicious and we can particularly recommend the Kaiserschmarrn. ❤️ Dogs are also welcome here. No matter whether you sit outside or inside, it is always nice and cozy. We are already looking forward to the next visit ❤️

We go to the Brauhaus-Stub'n Solln about once a month. Every time we experience friendly and attentive service. Food excellent. Anyone who loves Kaiserschmarn will enjoy the dessert. When the beer garden is open, staying here is twice as nice. Thank you, Hanisch family, for being here in Solln!

There were four of us in this restaurant on April 3, 2025 and we all ate pork Wienerschnitzel with fries. We all left half the food. It was just bad to say the least - the meat was full of flax and the fries were soggy. The waitress collected each drink individually - we felt uncomfortable. In short: the price-performance ratio is by no means right here. We won't be coming back.

The ambience is excellent. The portions are very small for an average Munich price. The light 0.5 at 5.00 €uro. A few factors don't add up.

Extremely friendly staff - at least our waiter was very, very friendly, but I have an idea who was criticized in many of the reviews. Also simple food, goulash soup and Bauerngröstl, very well done. A recommendation for everyone!

The food is good but the staff was not very friendly. The service was rushed and we were forced to leave a tip which we were told was mandatory. It didn't seem fair to me also because the service didn't deserve any tip. I don't recommend it, the prices are the same as in the historic center and the food is even better.

We were there for the first time on Sunday and I was really impressed. Great service, great food and very nice atmosphere. A real insider tip for those affected by celiac disease. I was able to choose between several gluten-free dishes here and decided on a gluten-free schnitzel.

Super friendly service...around 68 years old. There were 4 of us and we had 2 x Wiener-style schnitzel, 1 x sauerbraten and 1 x cream schnitzel. 2 Fanta and 2 cyclists. Cost for the 4 of us was €125.00. Maybe you can do it once every 1/4 year. As a normal, legally working person... why has everything become so incredibly expensive... it's a shame.

If Bavarian food is popular, always go to the 'Brauhaus Stubn'. The same was true yesterday and it was an all-round successful evening from the service (especially) to the quality of the food (excellent with 5 main courses and the Kaiserschmarrn for everyone for dessert) to the ambience. But the feel-good moment actually begins with the telephone reservation, when the last sentence is: "We're looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!"😀

Meanwhile again a nice place with a nice beer garden, better beer and good schnitzel.

We were 8 adults and 4 children. The food was good. The service, well, very friendly, but not particularly attentive. We sometimes had to wait longer for drinks and for the dessert menu to be ordered. Three times the gentleman came with things that no one had ordered but had to be from us because he had written it down. But then it was taken away again. After a while that day the sun beat down quite nicely. I think they could have asked if we wanted an umbrella, but then we got one ourselves. The beer garden is very nice and of course great for children with a playground. ☺️

Like! Not surprising! Tipical german food place! But has a nice enviroment that brings that sunday family lunch

07/20 Food good average, a real joker works in the service, beer garden cozy.

As a regular and satisfied guest at the Brauhaus Stubn, I unfortunately have to express my disappointment after today's visit. The service left a lot to be desired. Although my experiences have always been positive, this time I was treated in a rude and disrespectful manner. I and other guests at my table and in the rest of the beer garden were pressured to pay the bills (in my case more than €20) in cash, even though card payment was also officially offered. When I insisted on paying by card, it was ultimately made possible, but in an extremely unprofessional and cheeky manner: “You have to run twice now; Cash is being abolished because of people like us.” The waitress' behavior was extremely strange and had a negative impact on the entire experience. On a day with many guests and stress, I could have responded to the situation with a little understanding, but this was by no means the case.

Disappointing! Unfortunately, I can't recommend the restaurant. The sauce on the roast pork was off-putting and the meat was tasteless. The potato salad also lacked any flavor. For a 0.2l water we were charged a hefty price of € 3.10. I'm lost for words here. All in all: hopelessly overpriced. I can't and won't support something like that.

We have often eaten there, it was very pleasant, the food was great, it came to the table hot. The staff was friendly and quick. We ordered for our birthday, it was beautifully presented, my guests also really liked it, we would be happy to come back any time.

Unfortunately nothing has improved there, we don't really eat anything. For the second time, the waitress asked how the food was, and I said yes, yes, yes, then I wanted to say what wasn't really good. However, she turned around and left immediately and didn't actually want to hear it. Ambience, basically okay, but cheap paper, napkins, tastelessly set up and otherwise pretty bare and simply loveless, and the good reviews are more than a mystery to me

Good restaurant with good Bavarian cuisine.

We have been regular guests for many years. Even the seemingly impossible is made possible here. Thank you very much for that and a tip for all celiacs: gluten-free schnitzel or Kaiserschmarren are no problem here.

I've eaten there with the family more than 15 times and I've always enjoyed it and enjoyed it. Even at peak times, always friendly staff. I'm making reservations again now.

The atmosphere was beautifully decorated and the service was attentive and friendly. The food in particular was of high quality.

We had a pleasant visit to the Brauhaus Stubn Solln. The food was super tasty. It was quick, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is typically Bavarian. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

Trotz vieler freier Parkplätze wurde ich praktisch vom Hof gejagt - ich solle endlich wegfahren, nachdem ich dort gerade Gast gewesen bin - so unfreundlich war die Wirtin, dass ich alle Bekannte davor warnen werde diese Institution zu besuchen, wenn man nicht Lust auf diesen Stress hat. So ein Benehmen Gästen gegenüber ist erschreckend, unangemessen und geschäftsschädigend. Sowas braucht es doch einfach nicht. Danach habe ich mir die anderen kritischen Rezessionen angesehen - die Kinderfeindlichkeit passt zu meinen Erlebnissen heute. #BlackListed #keinUmsatzVonFamilienErwünscht

Wir wurden vom freundlichen und äußerst zuvorkommenden Personal begrüßt, an einem schönen Tisch platziert und aufmerksam bedient. Essen (1xGrillteller, 1x Ente von der Tageskarte und 2 Kindergerichte) waren wirklich gut und reichlich. Preislich für Solln im Rahmen. Ambiente gemütlich und Atmosphäre wirklich positiv. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen dieses Gasthaus gerne weiter.

Gutes bayerisches Wirtshaus mit gehobener Küche. Zwar etwas teurer aber definitiv seinen Preis wert. Gerichte auch schön angerichtet und der Service hat seinem Namen auch alle Ehre gemacht. Schöner Biergarten mit uralten Kastanienbäumen.

Ambiente weniger urig als erhofft, eher 90er Jahre Eiche rustikal. Brotzeitplatte freundlich ausgedrückt bodenständig, 2 Sorten Standard-Wurst, 2 Sorten Standard-Käse und Obatzder. An sich ok, aber nicht dass es dazu genau zwei *sehr* *kleine* Scheiben Brot und eine Mini-Meggle-Butter gibt. Auf Nachfrage nach mehr Brot und Butter wird dieses mit fast 2 Euro pro Mini-Scheibe und 1 Euro pro Butter extra berechnet. Da gibt es in schönen Lokalen in der Innenstadt deutlich hochwertigere Platten fürs selbe Geld und soviel Brot wie eben benötigt. Positiv: nettes Personal.

Schneller und freundlicher Service und gutes Essen!

Immer wieder gerne gehen wir in dieses Wirtshaus direkt um die Ecke: sehr feine, bodenständige Gerichte (die Portionen könnten hier und da ein wenig größer sein). Bei unserem heutigen Besuch hatten wir das Glück, einen Platz im Service-Bereich einer sehr tierlieben und außerordentlich freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Bedienung zu ergattern. Vielen Dank für den tollen Service!

Poritonen sind sehr klein. Eher Kindertellerniveau. Geschmacklich ist noch viel Luft nach oeben.

Die Bedienung ist überfordert gewesen. Hat sehr lange gedauert, bis man überhaupt irgendwie was bekommen hat. hier in Bayern müssen die Getränke quasi sofort kommen… Man hat aber ziemlich warten müssen, bis überhaupt jemand die Bestellung aufnimmt. Die Witze, die dann von Seiten der Bedienung gemacht worden sind, waren nicht sehr hilfreich. Haben einen sogar eher wütend gemacht.

Wir waren im Rahmen einer kleinen Geburstagsfeier in der Brauhaus-Stub'n. Das Essen war wie erwartet, nicht fancy, sondern bodenständig, aber sehr gut, anständige Portionen, ein sehr netter Service. Alles in allem haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und ich denke, wir werden sicherlich bei Gelegenheit wieder kommen.

Sind auf dem Heimweg unserer Radtour hier mehr oder weniger zufällig reingerollt. Im schönen Biergarten genossen wir nett angerichtete bayrische Küche und kalten Gerstensaft vom Fass unter Kastanien. Der Service war freundlich und hurtig. Preise im Rahmen. Kann die grämlichen Kommentare nicht nachvollziehen. Werden sicher mal woeder vorbeiradeln.
