The food was presented without any care. The salad looked good, but unfortunately had hardly any flavor. I've never eaten such a tough schnitzel. The ambiance was unsuitable for a restaurant, far too dark. The menu was very limited. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

I ordered a schnitzel with mushroom sauce, fries, and salad. The quality of the food was really good. However, the portions were very small. A handful of fries, a spoonful of sauce, and a schnitzel the size of a palm. I prefer Maximilians Brauwiesen in Lahnstein. You pay €5 more, but you're full afterward. When the plates were cleared, they didn't even ask if everything was okay.

The schnitzels are really not good. We ordered three schnitzels to go yesterday. The meat felt like it had been processed in a hydraulic press. It was consistently tough and firm. The sauce wasn't enough for the price. We weren't impressed.

Four of us were here for the first time today. First impressions: a nice place with a typical brewery atmosphere. The menu was very extensive, plus a lunch menu. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food arrived quite quickly. We ordered four different dishes, all of which were excellent. Everything was fresh and very appetizing. We all enjoyed it very, very much! We will definitely be back!

We used to eat here often and wanted to try it again. The food was... okay, definitely not bad, but not outstandingly good either. Considering there were very few tables occupied, the service was very slow. In the end, we got up and paid at the counter because it took so long. No one asked how I wanted my rum steak. To be honest, I forgot to say it, but then I assumed it was standard medium, but unfortunately it was medium++++. My wife's schnitzel was unspectacular, something we used to often go to the brewery for, and it was excellent. The ambience is very nice, I also think the winter garden is great, although I have to deduct a small star for the location on the busy road.

The little schnitzels tasted okay, but unfortunately they were a bit dry, as if they had been cooked for too long. Overall, it was okay, but there's still room for improvement.

It's a brewery like you'd expect from the Führer, with good, home-style cooking and space for celebrations both inside and outside. What I, as a chubby rider, liked were the motorcycle parking spaces in front of the restaurant.

Das Essen ist wirklich nichts besonderes, durchschnittliche Küche. Die Auswahl an Bieren ist gut. Ambiente drinnen > rustikal, Bierschwemme. Dafür ist es draußen ganz nett, überdacht. Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich.

Wir hatten lange im Voraus reserviert. Als wir ankamen, gab es eine unfreundliche Diskussion. Das Essen war ebenfalls überwiegend schlecht. Nie wieder.

Rustic atmosphere, lots of wood paneling, with a covered terrace. Cozy, clean, spacious. But there is no home-brewed beer here, as the name “Brauhaus” suggests, only industrial beers. The table was reserved, the service was quick and friendly, and the food came very quickly. Allergies were also taken into account with the side salad. The side salad came quickly, but it only had a yogurt sauce and was not very seasoned. There was pepper and salt on the table. My neighbor at the table was thrilled with the salmon with tagliatelle. For me, the schnitzel was very manageable, very firm, well-done, hardly seasoned and I doubt that the breading had seen a pan. The pepper sauce was good, as were the fries. It is advertised as fresh regional cuisine, but it was definitely a frozen ready-made schnitzel and too small for the price. The dessert selection also only consisted of convenience products from an Italian manufacturer that belongs to the Nestlé group. Contrary to many other reviews here, the visit didn't entice me to come back. Everything tried hard, everything was OK, but no brewery flair with great brewery cuisine. The choice of food is also too small.

18 € for a salad in which I had to look for the lettuce leaves, which was really no bigger than a side salad, that's what I call a cheek. The schnitzel and fries weren't really a normal portion either. In other restaurants we have to pay twice as much food and half as much. No more !!! That was usury!!! Came home and had dinner first! I also noticed zero friendliness. Assembly line work NEVER ANYMORE

The salad with turkey strips tasted very good. At 16.90 euros, the price is a bit too high considering the quantity. I would have liked to have enjoyed it more. The ambience is pleasant, especially outside in early summer temperatures. The service was friendly. Conclusion: Recommended. Gladly again.

A cozy and rustic restaurant with a hearty menu. Staff very friendly, even though it was busy on the holiday. Menu is not identical to the one available online, but everyone will find something here. A good vegan menu is also available. Schnitzel with five different sauces/variants and fries or fried potatoes as a side dish. Since the rooms are very large, it can get a bit noisy when it's busy, but that's completely normal. We enjoyed it very much and would love to come back. Prices are normal, food is nicely presented.

That's why only 3 stars for the service, because it can't be that one person has to serve everyone when the house is full. But Kellern really did his best and was still friendly despite all the stress!

We had a Christmas party there with work, it was really nice 😊

We were there on December 16th. spontaneously (because we were simply left sitting in the originally rented restaurant) with around 30 people to a company Christmas party in the brewery. We called around 5 p.m. to see if we could come over, which is a real challenge on a Monday without a reservation! We were warmly welcomed and spent our Christmas party in a beautifully decorated winter garden! The food was very tasty, the service mastered the challenge perfectly, we all got our food at the same time and ordered á la carte. Big praise to the Brauhaus team for this spontaneous and unforgettable Christmas party!

Ich war kurz nach Corona schonmal da , da war ich so zufrieden. Allerdings jetzt ist ein Stern zu viel. Schnitzel mit Pommes innerhalb von nicht mal fünf Minuten am Tisch. Pommes nicht durch und das Schnitzel hat es nicht verdient als solches bezeichnet zu werden. Also für knapp 19 Euro ein absoluter Reinfall. Auf keinen Fall weiter zu empfehlen. Dann lieber zu Ner Imbiss Bude.

Pretty unimaginative menu. So you are inevitably directed to the schnitzel. That's good and plenty for that. Rustic furnishings with a touch of old entertainment electronics such as radio and television.

Food was great. Interesting ingredients and great taste. Cozy restaurant with spacious seating areas. Parking is not that difficult near the train station. Men's toilets are new, but a bit tight. Nice service who is happy to respond to special requests. Gladly again!

The Brauhaus Neuwied impresses with a rustic and cozy atmosphere, ideal for a meeting with friends or family. The decor combines modern and traditional elements such as old televisions and wooden furniture, while soft, relaxing music plays. We immediately felt at home - probably because we were there at lunchtime, when it is still a little quieter. Things could be livelier in the evening. The service was consistently friendly and attentive. We were warmly welcomed and asked several times if everything was to our satisfaction - a nice, personal touch that made us feel welcome. We had the pork knuckle and the Viennese style schnitzel. The schnitzel was particularly impressive - freshly prepared and excellently seasoned. The portion sizes are generous, almost a little too big, but it's better to have a little more than too little! The presentation of the food was also appetizing and matched the ambience. Although there was no dark Pils beer on offer, the drinks menu was well-stocked overall. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size, and the dessert selection in particular is varied and tempting. The location is also practical, directly opposite Neuwied train station, with plenty of street parking.

Very nice modern restaurant. Food is fresh and ok but for a brewery there are very few main courses. I miss a roulade, a roast or the typical cordon bleu. Delicious light beer on tap. Prices were ok.

We went to the brewery for lunch today. The service was very nice and friendly. 2 meals were good, but my pork knuckle was still very hard. I know that you can easily remove the meat from the bone. I couldn't get it off with the knife or my fingers. I was so looking forward to it. A discount or an espresso would have been okay after my complaint.

Here, good home-style cuisine is served by friendly waitresses. On all previous visits the food was very good. There is a large indoor area, with a bar and winter garden, as well as an outdoor area.

Best restaurant in Neuwied! Super tasty rump steak and very fair prices. Also for people with intolerances and restrictions. As far as nutrition is concerned, you take great care of it and fulfill every wish. The service is very nice and even when stressed she keeps an overview. Food is okay, but home-cooked food honestly tastes better. Waiting for drinks after 20 minutes, then going to the front twice and saying that we want something to drink and then having to wait another quarter of an hour is not necessarily the best service. So I won't go here again!

Absolute recommendation!! We were there on June 1st. for lunch on site. It's open for lunch until 2:30 p.m. and then again in the evening. I think that's great. We were able to eat comfortably and the employees on site then had a well-deserved break. The food was really good. For me, such a schnitzel can of course be thinner, but as always, that's a matter of taste. It was delicious and so was the salad. We walked home completely full. The service is great. Friendly with a pinch of humor and very accommodating. Is only recommended. It was my first time there, but I will definitely visit this brewery again and try the food. Enjoy it.

In our case we cannot rate the food. However, we lack any tendency towards service and customer orientation here. We justified our stay by saying that we urgently needed a toilet because both toilets on the train were broken. With the restaurant completely empty, we were told that we could pay 1.5 euros per head to use the toilet. We would have liked to have it back, but this business practice contradicts us. Nevertheless, thank you very much for allowing us to use the toilet.

We were there for dinner last night. The short-term reservation worked great. The children's fries were very heavily salted and our schnitzel was still half raw. The waiter just said it doesn't normally happen. Of course, the price was still charged in full.

Wir hatten unsere Weihnachtsfeier hier und ich war vom Ambiente positiv überrascht, da ich normal nicht der Brauhaus Typ bin. Es wurde sehr schön dekoriert mit weihnachtlichem Tischläufer und passenden Servietten (wobei die normalen Tische dies nicht zu haben schienen). Auch ein großer geschmückter Baum stand dort. Essen- und Getränkeauswahl waren gut, ich als kaum Fleisch Esser hatte mir Lachs mit Kartoffeln bestellt, was wirklich sehr lecker war! Der Cocktail war groß und auch sehr lecker. Die Preise empfand ich als recht günstig für das Gebotene. Auch der Nachtisch war unfassbar gut! Der Kellner symphatisch und aufmerksam. Leider kein warmes Wasser beim Hände waschen. Ansonsten war es ein sehr schöner Abend!

Hallo zusammen Wir waren am Sonntag im Brauhaus Esssen.Sehr nettes Personal, alles sehr sauber. Wir haben Jägerschnitzel mit Bratkartoffel und Salat bestellt,dazu je ein Getränk.Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt und dass Essen war heiß. Die Portion war sehr großzügig. Bezahlt haben wir 37 Euro ein sehr fairer Preis. Wirklich sehr gut zu empfehlen..

Nachdem wir vor einigen Monaten zum letzten Mal dort waren und wegen der Unfreundlichkeit des Personals und der mittelmäßig zubereiteten Speisen fern blieben, waren wir gestern Abend nochmals dort, weil wir erfuhren, dass es einen neuen Betreiber und neues Personal gibt. Und??? Unheimlich freundliches und trotz dem herrschenden Betrieb entspanntes Personal, unkompliziert und sehr zuvorkommend. Es fehlte ein Beilagensalat. Auf Nachfrage gab es eine Entschuldigung vom Service, für meine Frau und meine Schwiegermama einen Likör und für mich einen Schnaps auf Kosten des Hauses. Und die Küche ist absolut top!!!! Ebenso das unheimlich leckere Kellerbier 😋🍻😋. Nur zu empfehlen und verdiente 10 von fünf Sternen. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch. Weiter so, liebes Brauhausteam!!!!!! Und bitte vergesst den Beilagensalat ruhig öfter 🤣😂🤣. Als wir am 29.02.23 nochmals dort waren, war der Beilagensalat leider dabei 😂🤣😂. Superleckeres Essen, lecker 🍻und ein supertoller Service. Dieses Mal gab es einen Espresso auf's Haus und eine Flasche Wein, da ein Geburtstag gefeiert wurde. Uns wurde ein Tisch zugewiesen und dann die Speisen- und Getränkekarte gereicht. Ausweislich Karte Biere in Größe 0,3 l und 0,5l. Als ich ein 0,3er bestellen wollte, bekam ich die "Draußen nur Kännchen"-Antwort: auf der Terrasse nur 0,5! Da ich aber mein 🍺 genießen möchte und "Trinken aus Eimern" hasse, gingen wir einfach. Und ratet mal wohin? Ins Neuwieder Brauhaus!!! Da gab es nicht nur gepflegtes 🍻 zum genießen, sondern auch und sogar draußen in 0,3er Größe! Perfekt!! Und auch die Kleinigkeiten zum schnabulieren bei das Bier waren perfekt und lecker: Bratwürschtl mit Kartoffelsalat und Obatzda!! Auch zum Bier und für den kleinen Hunger eine absolute Empfehlung 😉😉😉. Liebes Brauhausteam: weiter so. I’ve lived in germany 15 years. The young girl on the floor is the friendliest most polite Kellnerin or anyone working in service I have yet experienced. She needs to tell her parents they did an outstanding job! Apart from that the food and atmosphere are just “ok”. Beer was lovely.
