After a long time we had lunch here again with friends. Disappointed last time, very positively surprised this time. Fast, friendly and competent service. Super delicious food!!! Everything was perfect... What I missed: the great furnishings that are reminiscent of Napoleon's time🤔 there used to be soldiers, flags, etc. I missed this flair. But everything else is great!!!

There's not much to say there. The Napoleon has been an authority in Leipzig for many years. A brewery with tradition. Here you will find home-brewed beer and good cuisine. The menu offers a large and small menu for many dishes. Sometimes a small knuckle is enough... The service is great. The outdoor area is impressive. Everything is well preserved and inviting. I like coming here.

A really cozy brewery with great beer specialties and German cuisine including seasonal dishes. Perfect for families thanks to a playground outside and a play area inside. Even when the house is full, the staff is super friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the fact that the kitchen still takes a little longer cannot be avoided.

During our short vacation in Leipzig we ate in this great restaurant. Since I couldn't reach anyone by phone to order a table, I wrote a short email, which was quickly answered positively. The service was attentive, the drinks were cool and the food was delicious. What more do you want.

I'm often in Leipzig for work and when I do I visit the brewery. The beer is excellent and the food is also very tasty, although the prices for food have increased significantly.

We eat there regularly. Most of the staff is very friendly. The food is delicious, but it is sometimes very noisy when it is full. The little children's corner is also great, our little one likes it a lot.

I had pasta with salmon, spinach and cherry tomatoes. I would have liked tagliatelle with it and not these penne or hole pasta. But the taste was good. My husband had stuffed schnitzel with fries and peas. The peas were gray so they weren't fresh or frozen, because then they keep their beautiful green, but canned. I really like cooking myself, that's why I know this. It's a shame considering the prices.🤔 The taste was still okay. Service very nice.

Great brewery, especially for families. I have rarely experienced such a great atmosphere, even for the little ones. There is a great play area with good toys and a painting table. The food and drinks are really very good and the waiters are super friendly and accommodating. Went there two evenings in a row and it was equally great both evenings! Would like to see more restaurants like this. And: Prices for the food are also more than appropriate.

It was our first time here and we were very surprised at how good the food was. The home-brewed beer also tasted very good. It's quite expensive, but I think the price-performance ratio is okay. The portions are quite large. The service was also very friendly.

Returned after a long abstinence due to corona. Despite all the crises, the high level was still able to be improved upon. The food was hearty and tailored to the house. There was even a wide selection of age-appropriate portions. The service is friendly, fast and very accommodating, always with the slight wink of an experienced sutler and not at a loss for a word. It was a pleasure. Thanks.

I have to agree with the previous speaker, the acoustics are very loud and it wasn't full yet. The operation also took some getting used to. Friendliness looks different, the guest must feel comfortable. I had a solyanka before, which was a small bowl with some meat and lettuce pieces in it, so nothing special.

The quality of the food has declined and prices have risen enormously in some cases.

The range of food is limited, but overpriced and the quality is inadequate. I ordered a schnitzel which was drowned in sauce. Salt the fries and take the peas from the freezer. The vegetarian cauliflower (half a cabbage with sauce), no side dish for almost 15-16 euros? You have to laugh when you eat much cheaper and better in the city center. Unfortunately I can't recommend it for the price. We were annoyed. The plus was the children's area.

Chic location with plenty of space for guests. Service was a bit arrogant and rude at the beginning. Later it was better. We sat in a corner at a large table with 10 people. It was so loud that you could barely hear your own words, even though there were only a few people having a normal conversation. The acoustics in the restaurant need to be improved here. Food was okay, but not outstanding either. I found the prices to be quite high. For 25 euros per dish I would have expected more.

Very, very nice service, delicious beer and one of three dishes was very good. Unfortunately there is no price/performance ratio: the schnitzel (small portion for just under €19!) was served with industrially peeled potatoes and hollandaise sauce from the Tetra Pak. The mashed potatoes for the children's meal are also out of the bag. We're really happy to spend a little more money for good quality food, but unfortunately it wasn't worth the money here. Too bad :(

Located directly on the main street with plenty of parking and a bus stop in front of the door. Atmosphere very harmonious and cozy. Food was delicious and the service was friendly. Guided tours possible on certain days.

We were here to eat on Friday, the expensive knuckles were cold for 25 euros. We took the rest with us and the bill said 2x Aslette for 5 euros. As I found out when I asked, Aslette is the packaging. The place will never be an absolute joke enter more and can only advise everyone against it.

We were here for dinner with a group of 9 people, luckily we had reserved in advance, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to find a place. We were served, or rather "well looked after", by a very friendly woman who was always in the mood to joke, despite the high occupancy. Thank you very much for the friendly service at this point. Unfortunately, there is a point deduction for the high prices of the dishes, unfortunately the dishes only fall below the €20 mark in individual cases, on average I would expect €23. We went there to eat after visiting the Monument to the Battle of the Nations. I had half duck with 2 dumplings and red cabbage. It was a pleasure. My friend had sauerbraten and she really enjoyed it too. At just under 22 euros, the duck was very fair to its price. Anyone who appreciates good German cuisine will be happy to spend their money here. The good thing about Napoleon is that you can choose between small and large menus. The younger waiters at the bar could have put on a friendlier face. Otherwise, the service was good and friendly, and everything went quickly and quickly.

Wonderful selection of dishes (also vegetarian and vegan) with very good quality and always friendly, warm and attentive service. One star deducted because €19 for my vegan dish seems very expensive to me and I like the dishes to be very hot. Still definitely worth a visit!

We were here for the travel event organized by the Leipziger Volkszeitung/Humboldt Travel. It was a very nice evening, very good food and overall very entertaining. We'd love to come back.

Until half a year ago it was still an alternative for German cuisine. Now the prices are totally overpriced, hardly a meal is under 25.00 euros. Our pork knuckle was cold and had definitely been warmed up, gray in color and hard. You couldn't eat and went back immediately. But on a positive note, we weren't charged for it. By the way, a glass of wine costs between 8 and 10 euros! Crazy, the purest rip-off...

One star refers to the incorrect labeling of allergens in an existing allergen card and the realization that something like this definitely should NOT happen. A restaurant of this size with a menu specifically designed for allergy sufferers should also review and update this menu if the menu changes. Allergy sufferers depend on the signs being correct, otherwise, depending on the allergy, it can quickly become life-threatening. The quality of the food, for the rest, was very good and the service was also very good. But none of that helps if the rest of the quality isn't there. Take the criticism as food for thought to revise the allergen menu so that someone doesn't suffer major damage at some point due to this error.

Sorry, but that doesn't work at all! Open Table Reservation? Why am I there if nothing works, call? Pointless...no one answers for an hour anyway. When it does work, you feel like you have to apologize for making a reservation. Parking lot is in a catastrophic condition... And the prices are really underground!!! We really considered leaving after ordering drinks. 9 euros for a glass of wine?! 26 euros for a knuckle or knuckle of pork? 25 euros for steak a for???? No...We're definitely not stingy, but that was beyond good and bad. We then struggled and ordered food, but we shouldn't have. The pork knuckle was visually catastrophic, grey, old and had probably been warmed up three times...disgusting! Beautifully pink and meat falls light years away from the bone. The accompanying horseradish sauce may have been carried "past" the horseradish from a long distance away. I didn't eat it and let it go back Answer from the waiter: I want something else! Is it still possible? Firstly, we are not on a first name basis! And secondly: No!!! I wouldn't want anything else because it would probably have been just as bad. My husband's food was also cold and a joke for 24 euros! Conclusion: Never again. Price/performance is definitely not right!!! It's a shame...definitely out of the picture for me. Greed for money and megalomania...never!!!

There is hearty home cooking, as is usual in a brewery. But unfortunately that certain something is missing. So my food tasted quite good, but it wasn't anything special, which I expected for the impressive prices. The beer is very good! The house bottling 2L / 30 Eur in the glass carafe also seems a bit too expensive to me.

We were here in a medium group on Saturday evening. The reservation worked well, there was enough space at the table for everyone. The service was very friendly, competent and quick. The furnishings are typical of a brewery and are a little old. Due to the large dining room, it is very loud and reverberant. The beer is naturally home-brewed and tastes really good. Unfortunately the food was a disappointment. Typical brewery cuisine, but quite homely and quite bland in taste. Unseasoned, raw cauliflower just doesn't taste good. And pork gravy with beef tongue leaves me rather at a loss. Unfortunately, two-thirds of our group felt the same way. But the espresso afterwards was almost Italian-style good. Conclusion: Service good, beer good, food okay. Prices are probably like that today. Unfortunately no repeat factor.

I ate here at irregular intervals because the food was always of high quality and the atmosphere was something special. Unfortunately, our next visit will have to be a long time coming, assuming we ever come back. Despite understanding the constant increase in the price of everything, the prices here have been an absolute disgrace since the beginning of 2024. For example, it costs B. the large orange juice (04, l) now costs €7.40! For a lunch with a drink each (0.33 l) and two generally really cheap dishes, the bill ended up being just under €45. My understanding of such exorbitant prices is overstretched.

Ein geschichtsträchtiger Ort mit typischer Brauhausatmosphäre. Essen war sehr schmackhaft und die Bedienung nie um einen Spruch verlegen. Ein Highlight war auch das selbstgebraute Napoleon Spezialbier. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Abend.

Seit Jahren mal wieder hier gewesen. Es war Top ♡. Service 110% Aufmerksam, sehr nett und kompetent. Das Essen war lecker und d wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir haben unser Firmenweihnachts-Essen hier stattfinden lassen. Die Location sieht sehr einladend aus, die Toiletten waren in einem wirklich super sauberen Zustand. Ich habe mich für eine Roulade mit Klöße entschieden, die wirklich lecker war. Aber was uns allen nicht wirklich zusagte war der Service. Die Getränkeaufnahme geschah zügig, aber die Essenbestellung und die anschließende Umsetzung und Ausgabe hat sehr viel Zeit in Anspruch genommen. Es kann sein, dass das normalerweise zügiger von statten geht, aber an unserem Abend flitzten vier oder mehr Servicekräfte durch die Räumlichkeiten, allerdings kam man selten zu unseren Tisch. Sicherlich hätte man mit häufigerem Vorbeikommen auch etwas mehr Umsatz mit uns machen können. So verzichteten viele von uns auf ein Dessert oder weitere Getränke. Vielleicht hole ich mir beim nächsten Besuch in Leipzig eine zweite Meinung ;)

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Leckeres Essen und das Radler schmeckte auch sehr gut. Die Inneneinrichtung mit den Kupferkesseln war sehr schön. Was wir gut fanden, war die Spielecke für die Kinder mit Fernseher. Vielen Dank wir kommen gerne wieder und können deswegen das Brauhaus Napoleon beruhigt weiterempfehlen!

Gutes Angebot, freundliches Personal, Sauberkeit und Corona Schutzverordnung wird eingehalten. Macht weiter so und bleibt gesund, im großen und ganzen ein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Im hotel sind die Zimmer sehr schön eingerichtet und Tiere sind nicht gestattet.

Nette und schnelle Bedienung. Essen war sehr gut und lecker. Bier schmeckt auch aus eigener Herstellung.

Mit einer Tischreservierung ist man immer auf der sicheren Seite um einen schönen Platz zum Essen oder Trinken zu bekommen. Alle sind freundlich und geben ihr bestes. Immer zu empfehlen.

Das Brauhaus ist nicht ganz so mein Fall, da die Auswahl an Bieren sehr begrenzt ist. Entweder man mag es oder man mag es nicht. Es gibt nur 2 zur Auswahl. Das Essen war auch ganz okay, nichts besonderes aber in Ordnung und ausreichend. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr nett, allerdings wurden wir gegen Ende sehr diskret zum gehen aufgefordert, indem so langsam die Tischdeco abgeräumt wurde. Ich würde sagen ein Besuch dort ist Geschmackssache. Ich geh nicht wieder hin, deshalb auch nur 3 Sterne.
