Sundaes were OK, nicely presented. The ice cream could have been better, mango could only be remotely tasted. All in all it was OK...

Pizza and pasta there were very tasty, we ate there as a family at moderate prices. The location is great and invites you to linger. The service was great and attentive. I definitely recommend the brewery at the Thomaskirche. Gladly again.

Six of us had dinner at the brewery on July 18th. Our rating is aimed at the white-haired waiter with glasses and a short goatee. We cannot rate the rest of the service. It started with the waiter not knowing what was on the daily menu. This seemed strange to us. The food came to the table extremely late, so that 2 people were already finished when the food for another 2 people just arrived. The rest had to wait another 20 minutes. In addition, the wrong pizza was given out. When we complained about this, the waiter in question took the pizza without a word and disappeared. No apology, no explanation. He seemed downright annoyed, but then brought the requested dish, also without saying a word. When it came time to pay, the waiter didn't thank me for a tip (one person gave 2 euros for a bill of around 20 euros) and when none was given, he reacted extremely irritably. The last person in our group paid an amount of 19.70 with a 20 euro note. The waiter then said “30 cents” and the person replied that she would like it back. The waiter threw the money on the counter and then said "tip" several times, getting louder and louder. He answered the answer "You have to earn it" by demanding a tip and when the person paying replied: "Not for bad service", he shouted angrily "Che, che!" And gesticulated wildly. We went.

We sat on the terrace. Eyes too short to look at "strange" people passing by. You can drink delicious beer from the local brewery and eat refreshing ice cream.

A very rude waiter who slams your drink on the table and doesn't say please. I gave him a 10 cent tip and told him to use it to buy kindness. He then wanted to throw me out of the restaurant. Of course I didn't go because I wanted to finish my drink. Impossible.

On a hot summer day you like to look for a shady spot. We found this here after a short wait. The staff was nice, friendly and quick. Drinks and appetizers arrived after a short wait. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our pizza. Ok, it was very busy, but when we asked, the nice waitress asked, and apparently they had forgotten about us. The pizza was delicious and had plenty of toppings, the base was crispy and fluffy, almost like in Italy. The pasta with salsiccia tasted like dolce vita. Overall recommended.

Brewery with Italian cuisine. The food tasted ok and the price was ok for the location. I was there on a weekday evening and it wasn't busy. Unfortunately, the staff is not very attentive and you have to loudly draw attention to yourself several times. You don't feel welcome and it wasn't a nice experience.

Be careful when paying by card, as the waiter will be forced to give you a tip if you don't have a view of the card terminal. When asked, the employee becomes cheeky.

We take a day trip to Leipzig every year and always stop at Thomasbräu. Are always very satisfied with the food and service. Only today we had to pay 3.00 more for a tip. I have no idea what that is 🙁

Super tasty, although due to the heat we only had the starter plate and the Thomas salad, it was super tasty and enough for 2 people. I had the seasonal beer and my wife had an Aperol spritz, wonderful, the service was very nice and accommodating, thank you for that. I also think the concept is great, brewery, brewery specialties and Italian. Splendid.

Nice Italian staff. The food came very quickly, but we found it just okay. Have had better pizzas and the salmon pasta was a bit heavily peppered. Otherwise very central and the kitchen is open until 11 p.m.

This brewery is located right next to St. Thomas Church. Now in summer it's nice to sit out here in the beer garden under the chestnut tree. With a few exceptions, the menu contains Italian cuisine. Pizza and pasta. But this is of good quality and absolutely reasonable in terms of price. We were served very quickly and friendly. The only thing I didn't like: I ordered a white wine spritzer in a 0.5l carafe and had to pay the white wine price. (Although half of it was just water). 12.90 €. A pity. That really doesn't have to be the case. Everything else was recommended.

Restaurant was advertised as good bourgeois. The menu had a few good home-style dishes. Mostly Italian cuisine and not exactly cheap. We left because of disappointed expectations, the prices and because the waiter took a long time to get the drink.

Super premium location, very strange concept: it's a brewery, but at the same time an Italian restaurant and an ice cream parlor at the same time. Beer tasted good, didn't try any food. Unfortunately we had very unfriendly service. I would definitely expect something different as a guest. Almost a warning sign of bad management these days: when I wanted to pay, the waiter rudely told me, “Card only from 20 euros”. It's probably in small print somewhere in the menu (which I didn't look at to order my beer). I didn't have any cash with me, and to be honest I'm no longer used to needing cash in large stores. It's really exciting how this tourist bar manages to do this with this Stone Age 20 euro rule - especially in times of the European Football Championship when there are even more tourists in Germany, and many of whom are probably no longer used to having cash with them. If I understand fewer and fewer restaurants like this - then they should just increase the price by a few cents!

I have eaten here two days. First day I got a pizza. And day 2 I had a lasagna. This is not a place I will return to and I would probably call it a tourist trap. The pizza was not much better than a good frozen pizza. And the lasagna was on par with something you make in a microwave from a freezer. If you love real Italian food, don't expect to find it here...

I don't know what was worse, the food or the service. The service seemed overwhelmed and you have to be lucky to be noticed. The older lady at the service is a disaster and it seems like she is not responsible for anything. The staff was told to provide toilet paper in the toilet, which then sparked a brief argument between staff as to who was responsible for it. The pizza we ordered was a disaster and by far the worst we have ever eaten. They're talking about mozzarella on pizza!! Where? It was simply inedible and the topics on it were just cheap. We were there for the first time. It was very cozy and great because of the lots of shade, especially now in the hot temperatures. Service is great, very friendly. And very fast. Our food also came super quickly. The beer is very tasty. We will be back definitely. Thanks to the entire team. 👍😊

From my point of view, unfortunately, absolutely no recommendation. My pizza was incredibly greasy (lots and lots of cheese), the oil was really floating on top (pizza salami). It's not really contemporary. The selection of “healthy” dishes is also very limited. The service was somewhat ok, not particularly fast, not particularly hard-working and not particularly friendly either. Apparently you don't have to rely on returning guests because there are a lot of tourists coming.

I had ice cream, it was very good. Only they were probably understaffed because the time waiting was excessively long, and waiting for the bill afterwards too, even after several times (let's say 6 or 7 times) of asking for it, it still took over 40 minutes after the first try at a waiter to bring the bill.

Literally the worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. Asked a staff member standing in the door way if we could get a drink and he said it’s not his job, then didn’t get anyone else to help. So many staff doing so little. Just avoid here and go elsewhere

The server added +10% tip to the bill without asking. When he put the payment machine in front of us, we asked for the bill, he said after we paid we could get the bill. You can't decide for customers whether or not they tip you. Especially unanounced and untransparant.

Okay, I “only” had a calzone but… The price for this calzone was actually okay… €14.90. *cough* The pizza came very quickly, I was surprised because it took less than 8 minutes to be served. It seemed pretty decent, fresh mozzarella and all. Yes, maybe, but then I would also like to have some of the taste. The filling was in fact an economical version of what I would have liked. Too little cheese, not enough mushrooms but plenty of dough. The contents were neither warm nor hot. The magic word is lukewarm, but I think that's complaining at a high level. The service was so-so, yes, it was quick and all, but when I asked if it was tasty and I answered no, there was no response. At least that's what I would have liked.

I had a pizza with ham and extra cheese and my aunt had tuna. Our pizza came and my aunt's plate was on top of my pizza, so I had to give my pizza back. After the second attempt I got my pizza, the toppings were very unpleasant and the cheese wasn't spread properly. Staff leaves money from cashiers and leaves. Forgot drinks. So everyone tries their best to make customers happy but generally speaking it used to be better. Staff gets a 3 from me Eat a 5 Stay 2.

A nice restaurant with a large outdoor seating area. The pizzas are very tasty. There is plenty on offer and the price-performance ratio is right. The staff is friendly and very quick. We recommend the in-house Thomas beer. Should definitely be tried.

Everything was completely understandable, then we ordered, after a few minutes my husband got his first meal, then the fire alarm went off, everything became hectic but we didn't get any information... Pizza was ordered twice and a pasta bolognese… The Bolognese pasta was there but our pizza wasn't. After what felt like 30 minutes we got our pizza First of all, it was ice cold and burnt, so it wasn't edible at all... When it came to paying, it was cheeky that we wanted to pay by card so that we were forced to give a tip My question was why the pizza was cold and burnt so sorry I eat out often and often but that was the absolute cheek of owning something like that and forcing people to tip... I would have liked to have given a tip at least for the cold food and the burnt bit of money.

Were there around 2100 with two small children. Service friendly and very accommodating. Lots of activity, food and drinks still arrive very quickly. Pizzas large and tasty; the beer is worth a visit even without food. Price completely reasonable, almost cheap.

Food tastes good, unfortunately the giant schnitzel is similar to a good normal schnitzel. So I don't think the price of almost €24 is fair, so I don't recommend buying it. However, the taste was satisfactory.

Today we were in that restaurant despite not best opinions on web, beer was perfect, pizza too, but waiter added probably intentionally items to the bill which we did not ordered for sure, so to me it's not fair and disqulifying that place and people who work there. We found it later, so I receommend checking the bills before paying

I do not recommend. The staff doesn't speak English, it's impossible to communicate at all. They bring some printouts from the terminal, ask us to sign, and no one can explain what they are. Food below average. The carbonara didn't even sit next to the carnonara, no taste, completely unseasoned. Bolognese slightly better. But water for 8 euros beats everything...

Pizzas a little too sweet and one half too black on the bottom and therefore inedible. Prices on the card do not include VAT, so everything is more expensive than you think. A bit of a feeling that you are being cheated. Service was slow and unresponsive to feedback. Actually they should have given a discount on that one pizza.

Of course, the restaurant is always busy and sometimes an order takes a little longer. But you should understand this, because the employees always do their best to make the guest happy. Good restaurant with Italian - German food selection.

Von außen sieht es wirklich toll und vielversprechend aus, aber das Essen ist leider nur durchschnittlich. Ich hatte Nudeln mit Käse überbacken mit Pizzabrot, das Pizzabrot kostet tatsächlich 7,50€ das ist mehr als unverschämt.

Always very busy and almost impossible to get a table with several people without a reservation. More possible with two people. Staff very friendly and attentive. The food was very good as expected (multiple visitors). Likewise the ambience. We've never had any bad experiences. We'd love to come back.

We came across this place while looking for a place to eat during our visit to Leipzig. It looked nice from outside and there was a table available, which hadn't been cleared yet...but that should be done quickly. After 3/4 of an hour the table still hadn't been cleared and no coffee had been ordered. When the waitress came to our table after a long time of asking, ordering was more than difficult because the wrong numbers were constantly being written down. Food and drink came relatively quickly, but sometimes it wasn't what we ordered and some things didn't come either. When we were asked about the wrong product that was brought to the place, we were told that we had ordered exactly that and now we have to pay for it. Another waiter then brought us the product we wanted and ordered. Drink and ice cream was fine. When we wanted to pay we were ignored for the first time. When the invoice was brought, the incorrect, more expensive product was on the invoice. When asked, the response was again very unfriendly. We should then simply deduct €3 from the bill. Paying separately was consistently refused. Then the waitress disappeared again without taking the money with her and said we should just put the money on the table and leave. During the payment process, the waitress brought coffee to another table and poured it on a small child. It can happen, but she fetched a bucket of cold water and poured it over the child's scalded legs without asking. In addition, under no circumstances should the RTW be called. So we definitely won't come back again. Stress because there's a lot going on - everyone understands it, but you can still remain friendly. Service is an absolute no-go.

The food was very good for both of us🥗 and the portions were more than sufficient. We can definitely recommend it and we would be happy to come back on our next visit to Leipzig. Of course it's well known that the prices have "generally" increased, but when it comes to drinks I'm slowly getting more and more out of it. Where I used to order 2 drinks, today I stick to 1 drink.
