Era l’unico posto con un po’ di vita e siamo entrati per cenare . Ambiente molto bello , buona la birra ( ma ne troverete di meglio in giro ), un po’ meno il cibo … Personale di corsa , ma servizio abbastanza attento . La cucina come molti locali chiude alle 22:00 e non è più possibile ordinare cibo da quest’ora . Lo consiglio per bere una birra e stuzzicare poco o niente . Ampio spazio esterno per le serate estive

This place is huge and you cannot book unless you are more than 4 people. Chairs are not good and atmoshpere is like being in a factory hall. The industrial mood is also part of the very borring food whoich is served very quickly and is is eatable, just. Their own beer brand is nothing special. You can get much better beer elsewhere.

A bit loud, but highly recommended as a brewery

Really nice modern style beer house Large space, with plenty of seating both inside and outside. The service is honest and friendly. Quite varied menu with average prices. At 10:00 pm the kitchen closes and everyone goes to sleep, so don't go too late

Great brewery with great beer. They tap their unfiltered Pilsner-type beer and also seasonal specials. Excellent seating and pleasant service are a matter of course. Thank you for the really tasty beer, which is also popular with Eastern Europeans.

Very tasty unfiltered beer! Good food, delicious sambal schnitzel. Service was quick and friendly. The prices (sambal schnitzel with fries around €25) weren't that cheap. Rustic, appropriate ambiance.

The two of us had to wait a relatively long time for the food, even though there were only a few guests there when we arrived at 12 p.m. The guests at the next table (six of them) came and ordered later and were then served much sooner. Inquiry with the service about the waiting time: the chef was alone. When my salad plate finally arrived, the dressing was missing - again query: Service forgot to order the salad WITH dressing (?) - But: the dressing was on the menu as standard, I had no special requests at all - dressing finally arrived as a later delivery and was also good. Conclusion: - Eat well, 👍🏼 - Waiting time too long, 👎🏼 - I don't like funny excuses instead of an honest apology.👎🏼

Nice atmosphere food came quickly. Service was very good.

Seasonal asparagus menu was extensive. Good quality asparagus. Roast suckling pig was good and a lot. The sauerkraut was my highlight. Still a star deducted because the food overall could have been a little hotter. Service friendly and quick. The restaurant was a bit dark, so the atmosphere was a bit depressed. But very nice with the trees and the brewing kettle. We were there when the church congress happened to be in Hanover. Still got a table for 2 at 1 p.m. without a reservation. However, it was quite busy, so reservations are recommended.

Wir wurden direkt zu einem Tisch geleitet, aber etwas bestellen war 15 Minuten lang nicht möglich, da niemand uns bediente. Die Damentoilette war sehr ekelig. Der Boden nass und voller Papier, aber kein Toilettenpapier auf der Toilette. Es war durch große Männergruppen sehr laut und ungemütlich, so dass wir uns entschieden haben (und weil keine Bedienung kam) nur ein paar Bierchen an der Theke zu trinken. Der Mitarbeiter am Tresen, der auf Zack war und freundlich, hat die Stimmung dann wieder gehoben. Das Bier schmeckt gut. Jedoch wissen wir nicht, ob wir beim nächsten Besuch in Hannover nochmal dort einkehren würden.

Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy any food or drinks at all. An incredibly unfriendly man from the service literally threw us out in a harsh tone after we tried to occupy a table without being assigned. Friendly staff behave differently.

A special place, with great furnishings. You feel very comfortable and in good hands when Evi serves you. It is people who are tailor-made for the job who give this place a soul. It's obvious that this lady puts her heart and soul into it, which is very good for the customers. Evi has served me many times and it “feels like being at home”. I've been stopping by the brewery for years. Of course for the home-brewed beer, you can taste the difference! And when it's served with a smile and a feeling of well-being, that's the crowning glory 😁 The cuisine is really tasty and this is not a one-time assessment. You can sit comfortably in the niches on the white fur. For some, with a view of the copper brewing kettles. You won't be able to stop me! When I get the chance, I'll be happy to visit you again. And in the meantime? Please keep it up 😉

Bella location, anche se un po’ “costruita”, come dimostrano gli alberi finti all’interno. Clima piacevole, musica e servizio veloce…prezzi non economici per la qualità del cibo. Due birre, uno stinco e un altro a base di carne 70€. Ma se lo stinco arrivato dopo 7 minuti dall’ordine lo trovi mezzo crudo…un po’ ti girano

Very nice staff. Price/performance ratio is right. Staff was very attentive. It's clean everywhere. Food was great! When booking online, we stated that we would like to have a table with a view of the TV to watch football. This wish was definitely taken into account. We'd love to come back. 5 out of 5 stars!

Focus on drinking alcohol... The focus here clearly seems to be on consuming alcohol. Of course, on the one hand it is a brewery, but on the other hand there are also guests who drive cars or simply don't want to drink (cancer-causing) alcohol and still like to go out. While there is a diverse selection of schnapps and a few beers, there are a few bland soft drink classics. No fancy alternatives, there isn't even alcohol-free wheat. How can you not offer non-alcoholic wheat? The really nice discussion with the waitress ended in “we’re just a brewery with three kettles”. I personally don't know why a brewery shouldn't offer non-alcoholic wheat or decent mocktails - after all, other breweries do that too. The argument is also absurd because there are so many other purchased spirits on offer that have very little to do with a brewery. Buying alcohol is possible, but not alcohol-free wheat? If you then throw out disproportionately expensive food (up to €24 for a schnitzel, €25 for a mediocre cordon bleu) or sell a small bowl of soup as goulash soup for €8.5, not everything fits in terms of price. But the best thing was a spaghetti ice cream for €8.50 with spray cream. We already found this spray cream in another dish last time. That's not possible at this price. You can certainly accept such prices, but then you have to deliver or live with such a 2 star rating. Overall, the evening was once again entertaining, but the concept no longer makes sense to me. But the brewery is still okay for getting drunk - maybe you have to do that here too.

The bid is extra class, cool location

It was crowded due to the event at the Messe, but still, food came quickly. It was very tasty and the beer plentiful. If you want some German nostalgia, a place to visit. Check for availability!!

Very loud and you have to run after the waitress.

The coconut ginger soup was to die for, but I was a bit disappointed with the pulled beef burger. The taste was good, but when the menu says "braised for 12 hours until tender as butter" you would expect this. In fact it wasn't like that, you had to use the knife to cut the meat and it wasn't at all tender. I have teeth and was hungry, so I didn't say anything. However, I think charging just under €23 for the burger with fries is borderline. Even charging €9 for a 0.2 liter wine is quite an announcement. The service wasn't that attentive either and we sat for quite a long time in front of the empty plates and glasses without being asked if we would like something more to drink. Then they moved on. All in all it was a nice evening but that was because of the people, we probably wouldn't come again.

Yes, a clear recommendation. Very nice atmosphere, friendly service, you should definitely make a reservation because there was a lot going on, every table was occupied, the food was still ready quickly and very tasty. Price was reasonable for the portion and quality of the food.

Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm, und ich war bereits mehrmals dort. Allerdings gestaltet sich die Platzsuche aufgrund der nicht zeitlich festgelegten Reservierungen manchmal schwierig. Selbst bei einem einfachen Bierwunsch und nahezu leerem Lokal wurden wir leider nicht bedient und wurden sogar unfreundlich gebeten, das Lokal zu verlassen. Da das Personal mit Gästen so umgeht, möchte ich von einer Empfehlung absehen.

Regional brewery. The beer definitely tastes good and the evenings with live bands, like Jetlags, are a lot of fun. The food tastes good, but is nothing exceptional and relatively expensive. Nevertheless, I would still recommend the store.

Fantastic service at this popular restaurant. The service was fun, smiling, attentive and just wonderful. The food on the other hand is below average. The fries (both sweet and normal) were tasteless. The cordon bleu also without any noteworthy taste although the sauce was fine. Great setting and relevant beer selection.

My friends were all inside and had been partying for hours. Unfortunately I couldn't get in with my Adidas pants. Well, I accepted that, but I found insulting myself in front of everyone like “you can only go to the garbage yard with these pants” to be pretty mean… Maybe others will have different experiences with this store, I'm pretty disappointed.. all the best!

The food and beer at this beer house are really delicious! But I don't think Ms.Evi who works there is focused on customer satisfaction. It was obvious that I was a foreigner and I asked where I could charge my phone, she didn't even answer me and said no directly and her body language was not nice at all. It doesn't matter where I'm from, I'm just a customer. Also, I asked the gentleman who works inside, whose name I don't remember, where the charge place is and he showed it to me politely. No matter who the customer is and where they're from, they don't behave rudely.

UPDATE: We visited the Ernst August Brauhaus again as a large seminar group. This time, however, the disappointment was great. A long argument with the server, who then became personal and said to me: "What do you want from me now!" I had to repeatedly explain to him that he shouldn't take the feedback personally. He blamed the "mistakes" on the kitchen. I had to explain to him that they were all a team and that his job was to satisfy the customers. When it came to the check, after further discussion, an "excuse me" escaped his lips. The restaurant was packed, and the servers were clearly under stress. But I can't condone this kind of communication. I was also disappointed with the food. Last time, I realized that I found the portion sizes rather small. This time I opted for the fitness pan, but without the rosemary potatoes. Unfortunately, they brought the pan with potatoes, and I asked for them to bring me those without. Three minutes later, it came back without potatoes, but the vegetables weren't refilled either. The chicken fillet was overcooked and therefore dry. My colleague left some of it because the FITNESS pan was simply greasy. I think we'll switch to another restaurant. The ambiance is authentic and creates a very sociable atmosphere. A very good place to meet in larger groups. The food is excellent, and the service is very friendly. You also have to like the brewery atmosphere, so the noise level isn't a problem. The prices are reasonable, though perhaps a little high for some dishes due to the portion size.

If you want to talk while eating it will be difficult. Loud music.

Cozy brewery with a great atmosphere! We had a 2 liter bottle for around 23 euros, and the beer was really great. And schnitzel. The service was attentive - the employees regularly asked whether everything was OK. The atmosphere was pleasant and you can tell that hospitality is important here. Perfect for a relaxed evening with friends. We'd love to come back!

Beautifully decorated and attractive dining facility. Delicious food for a good price. We have been here twice and both times the place was completely full. Reservations in advance can prevent disappointment for 'full'. We also had a live band on the first night. Totally nice.

Man wird hier als ausländisch aussehender Gast nicht ernst genommen. Unfreundlicher Service mit herablassende Kommentare wie „spricht denn hier auch einer Deutsch?“. Der ganze Tisch hat sehr wohl Deutsch gesprochen und haben auch alle einen akademischen Grad. Man fühlt sich einfach nicht Willkommen und nochmal werden wir da nicht hingehen.

I received the pig's feet. The surface is crispy and the sweet and salty sauce is delicious! …The first few sips were great. . As with all German cuisine, the second half is monotonous and tiring. Things like balls made of potatoes are particularly difficult in terms of monotony. It's a great choice if you're really hungry.

Nach dem Karnevals Ausmarsch wollte ich eine Portion Pommes bestellen. Man teilte mir aber mit, dass es nur Pommes in Verbindung mit einem Hauptgericht geben würde. Ich konnte das leider nicht nachvollziehen. Als ich dann mit der Vorgesetzten gesprochen habe, bekam ich eine kleine Portion Pommes mit zwei Sorten Dip,die ich allerdings nicht bestellt habe für stolze 8.50€. komisch war dann nur,dass eine andere Frau am Nebentisch eine ganz normale Portion bekommen hat. Kunden-orientiertes arbeiten sieht bei mir anders aus.

Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant and racist experience in the brewery due to an unfriendly and overwhelmed male waiter and incompetent security. We had reserved for 2 JGAs with almost 20 people who were supposed to meet as a surprise. Drinks have already been ordered for everyone, including at least 10 liters of beer. When the future groom came to the future. When we met the bride, we didn't have anything to toast with yet and handed out the two shots that we still had with us from the day to celebrate their get-together. Which of course wasn't so cool of us and they wanted to throw us out straight away. Of course we apologized and offered to have these shots charged twice. The security then came to the table to one of our non-Asian-looking people and said to him "you look like only you here can understand German..." and asked us to leave the restaurant, otherwise we would "block" the table, we can still drink the drinks we ordered in peace, which is what we then wanted to do. After 3 minutes the security man came back and wanted us to fill the drinks into cups at the front and leave the store, which we then did. We left a lot of money there or would have left even more money there. It's a shame, because the situation could have been clarified differently and would certainly have turned out differently if the troop consisted of more people who read German.

Mega cool location. Went to this restaurant for the first time on Saturday and was impressed. Unfortunately I have to deduct a point because the reserved seats were quite limited. A plus point is that despite the crowds, the food was prepared extremely quickly.

I had dinner at the brewery with my 2 American friends. Unfortunately, I can and must say that the food wasn't bad, but unfortunately it wasn't really that good either. What was much worse was that one of us had DIFFERENT hairs on our plate. Long blonde hair and black curly hair... That just can't happen and I really ask myself how important hygiene is or isn't in the kitchen when you find FIVE HAIR from two different people on one plate. We then wanted to complain about the food. First the cook/head chef came and more or less laughed at us. Simply completely outrageous! I would have been ashamed if I were him, but no, we were laughed at... The waitress then took the food off our bill. That was the least. I will definitely never see this store again and based on my experiences I can only advise against visiting it.

We have been coming to the Brauhaus Ernst August in Hanover at regular intervals with our quiz night for over 4 years now. The premises are perfect for hosting any kind of event and we are always thrilled by the great feasibility on site. The conditions for our quiz are always perfect thanks to the extensive technical equipment (in-house system, projector, screens, several event rooms). In addition to delicious food and drink, the brewery also covers numerous other levels of culture (comedy night, live concerts, theme parties, bingo evenings, crime dinners, etc.). The service is great and the whole team is absolutely great. The low fluctuation among employees for years alone speaks for itself. Keep it up - we'll always be happy to come back!

Really good beer is on offer. The food is of decent quality, but the price is quite high. You can easily stop there with a larger group if conversations are not crucial. Because it can get very loud there when the house is full.

I had the suckling pig. Very tasty but unfortunately already cold. Since it came very quickly, it was most likely finished for a while. The amber beer is highly recommended and goes perfectly with the dark sauce. Ambiance and service top!
