Brauhaus Ernst August in Hannover

Am Wochenende ist es sehr laut dort Man wird einfach in eine Ecke gequetscht obwohl man reserviert hat. Dann rechnet der kellner mal kurz zwischen durch ab und rechnet auf seiner Uhr nochmal nach ob alles richtig ist. Sehr ärgerlich wenn er sich verrechnet und er noch geld verschenkt 😆😆

The meat roll (Rouladen) had vegetables in it and was delicious. The fish and chips were also crispy. The beer was delicious, so I bought it as a souvenir to take home. The service is also very polite and relaxing. My husband often travels to Hanover for business, and this restaurant is his favorite.

Our visit to Brauhaus Hannover was overall a mixed bag. The atmosphere was pleasant, but unfortunately there were some weaknesses that marred the stay. At the beginning we had to wait a total of 15 minutes for the first order, which initially left a negative impression. Even during the meal the service wasn't particularly attentive. We chose the Cordon Bleu and the Pulled Pork Burger, each with sides. The taste of the Cordon Bleu was quite good, but unfortunately the cheese was missing, which is of course disappointing for a dish of this type. The pulled pork burger was also good, but the side dishes were wrong and the replacement side dish took a long time to arrive. The meat in the burger was also a bit dry. The quality of the food was generally good, and we were also impressed by the in-house beer. Nevertheless, it has to be said that the prices - €25.50 for a cordon bleu and around €24 for the burger with a side dish - were disproportionate to what was on offer. At these prices you expect more perfection, both in the execution of the dishes and in the service. Finally, we ordered a nut cup with ice cream from Giovanni L. While the taste of the ice cream itself was impressive, the details left a lot to be desired: the walnuts were not caramelized as advertised, but simply natural, and the waffle was soft and seemed old. Given the price of €7.50, we would have expected a higher quality presentation and fresh ingredients. Conclusion: The brewery offers good food, but unfortunately not at the price-performance ratio that you would hope for. For the high price, one hopes for more attentive service, more reliable preparation of dishes and desserts that live up to expectations.

Unser Besuch im Brauhaus Hannover war insgesamt gemischt. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm, aber leider gab es einige Schwächen, die den Aufenthalt trübten. Zu Beginn mussten wir insgesamt 15 Minuten auf die erste Bestellung warten, was für den Anfang schon einmal einen negativen Eindruck hinterließ. Auch während des Essens war die Bedienung nicht besonders aufmerksam. Wir entschieden uns für das Cordon Bleu und den Pulled Pork Burger, jeweils mit Beilagen. Das Cordon Bleu war geschmacklich durchaus gut, aber leider fehlte der Käse, was bei einem Gericht dieser Art natürlich enttäuschend ist. Der Pulled Pork Burger war ebenfalls gut, jedoch waren die Beilagen falsch und die Ersatzbeilage ließ lange auf sich warten. Das Fleisch im Burger war zudem etwas trocken. Die Qualität des Essens war grundsätzlich gut, auch das hauseigene Bier hat uns überzeugt. Dennoch muss man sagen, dass die Preise – 25,50 € für ein Cordon Bleu und rund 24 € für den Burger mit Beilage – in keinem Verhältnis zum Gebotenen standen. Bei diesen Preisen erwartet man mehr Perfektion, sowohl bei der Ausführung der Gerichte als auch beim Service. Zum Abschluss bestellten wir einen Nussbecher mit Eis von Giovanni L. Während das Eis selbst geschmacklich überzeugen konnte, ließen die Details zu wünschen übrig: Die Walnüsse waren nicht wie angekündigt karamellisiert, sondern schlicht naturbelassen, und die Waffel war weich und wirkte alt. Angesichts des Preises von 7,50 € hätten wir eine hochwertigere Präsentation und frische Zutaten erwartet. Fazit: Das Brauhaus bietet gutes Essen, aber leider nicht zum Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, das man sich wünschen würde. Für den hohen Preis erhofft man sich eine aufmerksamere Bedienung, eine zuverlässigere Zubereitung der Gerichte und Desserts, die den Erwartungen gerecht werden.

Gezellig en leuk aangekleed brauhaus. Beperkte kaart met voldoende keuze. Wij gingen voor de schnitzel op vrijdag avond. Het restaurant zat bij aankomst gezellig vol en werden vriendelijk ontvangen. Schnitzel was goed qua temperatuur en de smaak was ook oké. De friet was nogal vet. Portie en kwaliteit niet helemaal in verhouding voor €21,-

Tolles Brauhaus. Haben zu zweit spontan am Samstagabend einen Platz bekommen. Von bestellen bis Essen auf dem Tisch hat es keine 20 Minuten gedauert. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Für den Preis (25€) hätte die Portion Cordon Bleau etwas üppiger sein dürfen. Ansonsten war alles top.

The food wasn't tasty. Fries twice fried and not warm. At dessert I got a waffle with the apple strudel and it was hard. It's better to concentrate on drinks. The restaurant was noisy and the tables were cramped. Were disappointed.

Cozy atmosphere, good food and nice conditions

I am very disappointed. We were there on Boxing Day, 11 people... we were spread across 2 tables right next to the toilet... then we watched for 15 minutes by candlelight in a dark corner... when I asked, I was told that first would have to look for the light switch... The food was ok so far... Unfortunately my daughter and daughter-in-law had fish & chips... so there must have been something wrong... both of them spent the evening feeling sick on the toilet... well that was all in all that was our last visit there... I no longer have to sit on wooden benches and when I go out to eat as a family I want to sit at the same table with them

There were five of us. We all enjoyed it very much. We didn't have to wait. I can only recommend it.

We had our Christmas party there, we got seats in the upper area, directly opposite the band. It was very loud, but we were aware of that beforehand. The service was excellent, the staff was constantly on the move to accommodate our requests and fulfill them promptly. Despite the fact that there were around 30 of us, the food we ordered á la carte was served almost at the same time, great. The quality was ok, my knuckle could have stayed in the oven for a while, but the meat and cabbage tasted very good. The beer was also very tasty, I would love to come back.

Also wir können das Brauhaus empfehlen, waren erst auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt und anschließend im Brauhaus und haben uns Drinks bestellt. Es war den Tag sehr voll und wir hatten keine Reservierung trotzdem haben wir Glück gehabt und einen Tisch für vier Personen bekommen. Das Personal war super freundlich, Bestellung hat alles super geklappt. Immer mit einem Lächeln wurden wir bedient. Besonders zu hervorheben war die Mitarbeiterin Jenni die uns hervorragend bedient hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Good beer and food, but wait well over an hour for drinks and food? Then another meal came because the schnitzel was gone?! Without asking us beforehand?! Our direct waiter was great, but he can't make up for the dismal state of the kitchen and bar that evening. I am very dissatisfied and have never experienced anything like this. Very unfortunate...

35 minutes for the starter and after an hour they remember that there is no schnitzel. Instead, they want to put a Cordon Bleau on your table that you didn't order. Then they wonder why I'm completely mad. I've been here many times, but that was the last time. Bottomless impudence and mess

Good evening. We came here this evening with a group. The beer was okay, nothing more, but nothing less either. We ordered our evening course and waited about 45 minutes for what we ordered. I ordered the goose. Oh well. The dumplings were ready-made dumplings (at least they tasted that way), the red cabbage was lukewarm, and the sauce had hardly any taste. The club itself was okay. I told the waitress about this. She took note of this and told her to report the criticism to the kitchen. There was no return. The waitress offered me dessert. I refused because of the bad food beforehand. At the end we wanted to pay. As I know it from the 'nursery', we asked the waitress for the bill. This sent us to the bar/counter with reference to table 7. We waited there for about 10 minutes to pay. In the meantime I went to the toilet. It wasn't pretty. Paper residue on the floor, pee-stained basins and persistent dust. The hygiene wasn't that great. That was my experience here. I hoped for more and don't recommend it.

Things often get livelier here after dinner. The brewery offers a good opportunity to enjoy the evening with music and dancing - a nice end to the evening, especially for the over-40 generation. If you're looking for a combination of good food, beer and a convivial atmosphere, you'll definitely find it here.

If you want something cozy, quiet and comfortable, you're unfortunately in the wrong place here. The food is delicious and plentiful. Occasionally there is a problem with the service when it is very busy. Otherwise very attentive and quick. It's a shame that you can't always charge your cell phone - there aren't plugs for all models and only in certain places.

Pre-booking a table is important! Great music, great band, great audience, great beer, great ambience. Age really doesn't matter here, for baby boomers and even a little younger, everything is there!

We were there for the first time and unfortunately also the last time. It was far too loud and too crowded for us. The staff was very nice and friendly, the food wasn't a highlight and we didn't find the beer that tasty either. Mushrooms from a jar and the mushroom sauce that had no seasoning/spices, the portions weren't very big either, one was full, but my husband only got full from the starter.

A terrible institution and a terrible staff. My friend had a coat stolen and asked for help from staff. There was no reaction. I think this disrespect for the customer or that they just don't care what mood people will have after visiting their cafe. Me and my friends will never go here

I do not recommend the facility! Things are being stolen and none of the employees are interested in searching. When asked to look into the cameras, the employees laugh and say that we have a lot of people, so we won't see anything on the cameras anyway.

terrible service! My coat was stolen in the institution and when I asked the institution staff for help looking into the cameras, no one was interested in the search at all. Nobody saw anything and nobody knows anything and the cameras can only be viewed tomorrow. So I had to go home in the winter without any real clothes. I cannot recommend this facility to anyone, as things are stolen there and the service has no interest in searching

Before we go to the Christmas market, we were looking forward to a meal at the brewery in Hanover. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a table without a reservation. Our choice fell on the knuckle, and we were not disappointed. Just as it should be, nice crust and juicy center. My light beer was also very tasty 😋. We'll definitely come back.

I went to the brewery for the first time with my friend and colleague totally thrilled with this great location. We were only there for a few beers because we were with others Colleagues already somewhere else We were there on December 17th, 2024 back in the brewery, then also to Feasting because we were able to make a reservation. Our colleagues are regular there and an update will then take place definitely. Such a fun place to come and fill- up after a long day at the Messe ! Good beers, great atmosphere. And such care for the customer, I had lost my phone in there and after retrieving it the team quickly sent it back via courrier, having me pay only the shipping costs. Went there with colleagues, the food was very good and the service was really friendly! BUT…. For a burger €19.50!!! And really ONLY the burger! The fries were charged extra, €3.90!! And for me the biggest outrage, €9.00 for a white wine spritzer!!! Not only is the more expensive of two white wines taken for a spritzer (without asking), the same price is also charged for a spritzer as if you were to drink a “normal” glass of the more expensive wine! This is a rip off for me! Too bad! This spoiled what was actually a lovely afternoon for everyone!

There is also a cozy atmosphere that is perfect for enjoying a cool drink. The food is also great – everything from hearty specialties to delicious snacks. We were there recently on the weekend, so it was very busy and our space wasn't ideal. The food (including the typical kale specialty "Kale, Bregenwurst, Kassler with potatoes") was quite good, but unfortunately it was already lukewarm when it was served. Our waiter was very helpful.

We waited a long time until someone came to seat us. We were then given a seat by the window, but it was far too narrow for 4 people to sit there normally. Unfortunately the beer is not our taste. The food prices are also quite high and the waitress wasn't too happy when she found out we didn't want to eat.

Koreans! Think twice about going alone during crowded times. I was very scared because a group of drunk Germans suddenly put their arms around me and said something in German. The waiter stopped me, but it was scary. Other than that, you can enjoy the best beer in Hanover. This is a place where you can!

Excellent food but terrible service from the tall male waiter with glasses: I asked for a bill he didnot stop walking but said one moment. In five minutes, he was chilling, talking with other customer, just not handling my request. Five mins later, my bill was still not coming so I stopped him again , he finally took it serious and asked me cash or card. I said card, he then told me for card I have to go inside to pay. I was like, why don’t you tell me at the very beginning so we both saved five minutes , Stupid service
