The food arrived only slightly warm. The service was friendly. Unfortunately, the dishes were cleared away rather quickly, even though there was still water in the carafe. It was a bit chaotic. We couldn't eat together because the dishes didn't arrive at the same time, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. It was pleasant that there was no background music.

The staff is friendly and accommodating, but the food leaves much to be desired. We had schnitzel with fries and gravy. The schnitzel wasn't freshly prepared; it came straight from the freezer. The gravy had absolutely no flavor. For the price, I expected more. However, the staff was friendly and the drinks arrived quickly.

Brauhaus 2.0 is conveniently located in the town hall in Remchingen. There's plenty of parking. The brewery is decorated in a modern, warm style and offers plenty of space. Ambience is a matter of taste; I like it there. The service was friendly and attentive. Despite it not being busy, the food took a long time; this could be improved. In my opinion, the menu offers classic brewery dishes. Nothing particularly special in terms of taste, and some of the portions are small in my opinion. It's fine if you're in the area for business, but I wouldn't specifically head to the brewery if I wanted to go out to eat with friends or family. It's a shame, actually; it has potential! We were there with a larger group.

Great restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The service was friendly and flexible. We've had children with us several times before, and the staff here were very accommodating and even brought pencils and drawing paper. All in all, it was a great experience and we'd love to go back!

We had reserved the adjoining room for a larger birthday party. Aside from the suitable facilities, which the Landbrauhaus offers, I can't say anything positive. Tablecloths for the party weren't provided, which is rather unusual for a restaurant that advertises celebrations. There were only two wait staff members available for approximately 40 guests. Unfortunately, our guests had to do without the various house lemonades because some appliance suddenly broke. The food at the buffet was sparsely replenished, the roast beef was dry, and the food overall was only lukewarm. Wine bottles were more or less slammed onto my table. Minor requests for something or deviations from fixed plans were tantamount to being overcharged. One guest broke a wine glass, which I think can happen from time to time. This was then added to our bill. But the worst part came at the end. We were asked to clean everything up late in the evening, remove balloons, decorations, tablecloths, and even clean the floor! Otherwise, an additional cleaning fee of €250 would have been charged. We weren't provided with a broom. Everything had to be cleaned immediately and couldn't wait until the next day, even though the brewery wasn't supposed to open until 5 p.m. the next day. We also had to pay the bill late in the evening. Under these circumstances, I don't need to go to a restaurant; I can just rent a gym. We've celebrated in restaurants with larger groups before, but we've never experienced anything so rude. Even the leftover food—I know there were still plenty of schnitzels and side dishes left—wasn't given to us, even though we had paid for it, and that was quite a lot. 36 euros per person alone for a meager buffet. A la carte was too stressful for 40 people for the staff, so we were advised against it. On top of that, they charged almost 5 euros for each empty dessert plate, something I've never experienced anywhere else. They're trying to make money with as little effort as possible. If the restaurant didn't have these facilities, no one would be celebrating there anyway. Our guests still had a great time, thanks in part to our piano player, the amazing cakes, and the lively atmosphere. But I can cook better myself. I've even cooked for over 30 people on my own, so I don't need a country brewery with mediocre, lukewarm food and a total overwhelm. Bottom line: high prices, poor service.

We ate at the restaurant yesterday, but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The drinks system was out of service; there were only still water, Coke, Coke Zero, and orange juice. The schnitzel was tasteless and not crispy, and the croquettes and vegetables were unfortunately cold. The only good thing was the cream sauce. The ambiance was nice and cozy, and the service was okay, but could have been a bit more attentive. Overall, it wasn't a convincing visit.

Super delicious food with very friendly staff

We've been here several times now. The service is simply excellent, and above all, they go far beyond what they're supposed to. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The ambiance is modern, with lots of wood.

We were invited to a birthday party. A total of 15 people. The restaurant was "empty." Most of the dishes had a flaw. Unfortunately, some items on the menu were unavailable. The salad with balsamic dressing was good. The house fries were edible. The chicken and burger were unfortunately too dry, and one of the schnitzels was burnt. The cheese spaetzle had no flavor, cold and slapped onto the plate, looking like... I feel very sorry for the host. Unfortunately, no one will be returning to this restaurant for dinner. Maybe for a drink. The cheese spaetzle were reheated after a complaint, and the schnitzel was replaced... It's a real shame, even though the lady tried hard. We absolutely cannot recommend it.

This restaurant is highly recommended for everyone, especially for people who don't like beer. Why? It's simple. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. You won't leave hungry. That's for sure. The value for money is excellent. The service is very friendly and attentive. You don't have to wait long for your food. The ambiance is very cozy, bright, and open. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained. They serve a variety of beers, all brewed in-house. There's something for everyone. A quick tip: Try the homemade liqueurs, too. They're highly recommended.

Really delicious and rustic brewery

Today, I spontaneously went to the Brauhaus in Wilferdingen with my son. Unfortunately, I can't report anything positive. My son got his burger, but I waited in vain for my creamed schnitzel, which meant we couldn't "eat together," which is the whole point of going out to eat as a couple. After my son had already eaten more than half of his meal, I asked at the counter where my food was, which I'd been waiting for forever, while guests at various neighboring tables who had arrived after us were getting their meals. A rather puzzled look from the young waiter who served us was the only "reaction" to my complaint. The colleague next to him then said, "Go in and ask what's going on at table 20," which he did. A short time later, my schnitzel finally arrived. Unfortunately, the long wait wasn't really worth it, because the mushroom cream sauce had a sweet, somewhat strange taste. Shortly after the food was brought, I was offered a free espresso or other drink, but what can I say? I was already in a bad mood because I was simply annoyed. The taste wasn't convincing, and I don't really understand "good, attentive service." Until I asked for my food at the counter, nobody seemed to care where my food was, even though my son had been eating for a long time. Bottom line: Unfortunately, today wasn't the first time I was dissatisfied or annoyed that the food didn't taste so great or that the service wasn't satisfactory. So, it was probably the last time I ate there. What a shame!

I had lunch at LandBrauHaus | Brauhaus 2.0 and am happy to give it four stars. Friendly service, good atmosphere. The food was good. I didn't give it five stars, as I think you could get slightly larger portions for the price. Otherwise, I can recommend this restaurant for a visit.

I just wanted to get bottled beer. Because there was only one person working in the service, I was asked to pick up the two bottles filled in the evening. However, that wouldn't be possible due to my long commute. So I ordered a Pilsner while I waited. It wasn't particularly refreshing, but no matter. After an hour of waiting, I was told that they couldn't fill the contaminated bottles with country beer. I drove on to the neighboring Durlach and got my fills without any problems. As always, actually. The country brewery is dead for me. Judging by the customer traffic, it's probably dead for many others as well...

I can recommend the brewery. Parking is available, the interior is nice and spacious, and there's plenty of space outside the restaurant. Children can play in the playground or at the water fountains within sight. There's an ice cream parlor in the immediate vicinity.

Convenient location, centrally located right next to Wilferdingen train station, with a nice outdoor area in the summer. The food has always been delicious, and there's a good selection. Considering it's a brewery, the beer selection could be a bit larger. Criticism: Friendly service, but when paying, they told us: "No credit cards, only debit cards." That's completely outdated for a restaurant of this size. That argument might work at the small kiosk around the corner, but definitely not here. Many newer banks no longer accept debit cards at all. Please improve!

The food was good, but... ... when it came to paying, things got complicated. The restaurant only accepts cashless payments with debit cards - NO credit cards!!! I can pay with contactless Visa debit and credit cards at all nearby stores (Lidl, dm-Drogerie, Aral, and even at the kebab shop). Just not at this restaurant. That's neither customer-friendly nor contemporary. Sorry, dear LandBrauHaus team - it can be better. And if I'm honest, what I'm left with at the end isn't a good meal with reasonable value (lunch: schnitzel/fries/salad = €10.20), but only the memory that I couldn't pay.

I invited about 40 guests to a private party at the Landbrauhaus on July 25, 2025. The food, service, and ambiance (in the side room) were excellent. Natalie, who looked after us, did an outstanding job, especially. Thank you again.

You pay a lot and eat little. What you get for that is overpriced. You can't sell one currywurst for 14 euros. One sausage with a few fries costs a maximum of 4 euros, and you sell it for 14 euros.

I'm very excited and looking forward to my next visit. I highly recommend it. Antonia does an excellent job and ensures that all customers are well looked after. Of course, this only works if everyone on the brewery team is motivated 👍, so keep it up. Please keep up the good work, until my next visit.

We eat here regularly, but on Saturday, the garlic schnitzel recommended by the staff member was terrible. So much garlic paste was slapped on it, and surprisingly, green garlic paste, that the guests at neighboring tables turned around. The schnitzel was inedible and very bitter. Our complaint was not taken seriously and dismissed with the comment, "It tastes great, doesn't it?" The staff member also complied with my request for ice cubes, but I had to fish them out of the container with my fingers; the service staff clearly needs some training. It's a shame, unfortunately, we probably won't be eating here again in the future.

Delicious food and good home-brewed beer in a modern brewery environment

I tried the currywurst based on an Instagram video and it was really good!

We've eaten here several times now, but what we experienced today was amazing. We ordered "roast pork with bread dumplings." The dumplings were so hard that you couldn't cut them with a knife. When we asked the waitress, she said, "There were no others, they were all like that." Fried potatoes were offered as a substitute. Okay, they arrived, and they were just potato slices fried in a lot of fat, and half-raw, too. It was really bad. My wife ordered "hunter's schnitzel with spaetzle and creamed mushroom sauce." The spaetzle were hard and over-salted. When my wife left the spaetzle, that was saying something. The creamed mushroom sauce was so gritty, there was no trace of cream. The quality of the food was so bad, they waived our drinks... but for the €35 I paid, I simply expect more. What can you expect next time? But we probably won't have a next time. It's a shame because the beer is really good. What a pity.

Nice service, nice brewery, the food is delicious but a bit overpowered in terms of prices, in my opinion

The beer tastes very good and is reasonably priced for this quality. The food was once again borderline and simply couldn't compete with the beer: The pork cheeks were perfectly fine, the accompanying spaetzle weren't homemade, they came from a packet, and were even close to crispy. The cheese spaetzle at the table lacked any cheese at all. There was mostly cream, hardly any salt. The schnitzels were decent, and the fries were delicious. For these prices, the food really has room for improvement. The service is really enjoyable from the start.

We ate at the Landbrauhaus for the first time on Sunday and will definitely be back! Our food was very good, the portions were really generous, and the service staff was attentive. We really enjoyed the dark organic beer; next time we'll definitely bring a 2-liter bottle. Overall, everything looked very authentic and typical of a brewery.

There were four of us there: two children and two adults. My wife's meal (chicken breast fillet) arrived about 10 minutes earlier than the other three dishes. However, the chicken was also raw. After mentioning this to the waitress, her only response was, "Oh, OK." Never again!

Good food for a reasonable price. Beer is still brewed here. I had a brewery burger with fries and a small side salad. All the ingredients were fresh and of good quality. The burger was well-seasoned and made from good meat. The burger wasn't exceptional, but I would eat it here again. The salad was a bit small, and the sauce was okay—nothing wows or delicious. The fries were good. I was full. The ambiance feels modern—not rustic. The staff was friendly. Guided tours are available by arrangement. The price-performance ratio is perfectly acceptable.

Beer - great! Yummy. I even took a large bottle with me. No questions about this. Service - TOP! Super nice service! Both at the counter and at the table. Food - well, you still have to work on it here. My burger bun was dry, meat - well - 3/5. Sauces - is an imposition. Fries - over salted. Spaetzle - over-peppered. Mayo and ketchup in one bowl? A no-go! However, my wife liked the Maultaschen. Ambiance? - Should look modern. For my personal taste - if the ceiling has any ventilation shafts and cables, it looks like a construction site to me.

I'm often away for work and sometimes enjoy a beer here at the end of the evening. The beer is really good. The only downside is that I still have to make work calls and emails. Unfortunately, cell service is very poor in the building, which significantly limits my visits in winter. It's a completely concrete structure and the builder probably didn't prepare it as well as it could have been. The staff are extremely friendly and quick. I can't comment on the food. The furnishings are in keeping with what you'd expect from a new building - pretty average but nice nonetheless. The noise level is rather high due to the concrete construction and large rooms.

Update March/April 2025: We continue to serve only Pils and wheat on a regular basis. These are both delicious, but a little more choice is desirable. The competition in Durlach and Karlsruhe, for example, can do this much better! Reaction to the owner's answer: I have no criticism of the food, only of your brewing policy. Offering 2 beers, even in the summer during the European Championships, is FAR TOO LITTLE. **'************************ Original review: Nice atmosphere, very friendly and fast service! The homemade beer is delicious! Children can play and run around safely in the large area with a playground and water features outside. Unfortunately, we neglected to brew again in time in the summer. Only Pils and wheat on offer for weeks is a no-go for a brewery! Hopefully this won't happen again... General price level relatively high. Unfortunately, the large number of parking spaces available were made chargeable some time ago. But you can go next door to the dm and Lidl parking lot... Still!

We have been guests at Brauhaus 2.0 on and off infrequently over the last few years, so I can now draw an objective conclusion. The atmosphere in the brewery is great, I really like it there, it definitely fits the “Brauhaus” character. The food is okay, but the portions are a bit too small for my taste for the prices that are a bit too high. The beer, even though it is home-brewed, is not to my taste at all. It tastes a bit soapy and is definitely way too expensive at €5.30 (now). Unfortunately, what really drags down my rating is the service. The staff is really friendly and makes an effort, but making a guest wait 30 minutes each time to order a drink is simply not possible. This is certainly a management problem, but nothing has happened here in the last few years. There are apparently enough staff to bring food and drinks, but they are not allowed to collect cash or take orders. Maybe the structure should be fundamentally rethought. All in all, this was probably our last visit.

Since the brewery in Knielingen no longer exists, I ended up in Remchingen. Map is known from Knielingen. The food was great and so was the beer. It is also close to the train station. There is a star deduction because only EC cards are accepted. I think that's no longer relevant in 2025.

Good food, good location. Basically it's easy to reach thanks to its own underground car park, but the portions could be increased slightly, otherwise there's nothing negative here.

Please update the menu online Service was not attentive, after the meal there were still plates left for half an hour even though the waitresses walked past. Also no question whether we would like something to drink.

Despite there being little going on, we waited 1.5 hours for our food. When it arrived, the burger was only lukewarm, extremely dry and the fries tasted like they had been fried twice. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was okay.

I had dinner at Brauhaus 2.0 last night and ordered the Bowl Gartenzauber. While eating, I unfortunately noticed that 3 ingredients that were listed on the menu were completely missing: cooked chickpeas, quinoa seeds and sprouts. When I asked, they brought me chickpeas, probably fresh from the can, which really didn't taste delicious. Not a word was said about the other ingredients and there was no apology or price reduction. Maybe I'm being too demanding, but it would be really nice if all the ingredients that are on the menu were included in the dish, or at least you were informed in advance when ordering that these ingredients are not available today. Unfortunately, the orange lemonade was also inedible and half of my friend's tarte flambée dough was raw. Unfortunately, the restaurant cannot be recommended unless the owners take the partly constructive reviews here to heart and improve the service and the food. Mistakes happen, but you can grow and learn from them.

The three of us wanted to have something to eat and drink in Remchingen today. Were ignored by the two waitresses for 15 minutes. Most of the time the waitress just stood at the counter because there were only 4 tables occupied. They all already had their drinks, so there was nothing going on. It's incomprehensible why you don't at least get asked what you want to drink at some point. After no waitress responded, we left. We then went to a great restaurant in Waldbronn for steak.

Very good food and they make their own beers

The friendly service was positive, as was the warning before ordering that it would take a little longer. The ambience is also quite okay, as you would expect in a brewery. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. There were eight of us and we had different dishes. The burger was good. The steak (for €30!) was ordered medium and on the one hand it was about 20% fat and on the other hand it was not medium but mostly very red. We had to return the chicken steak because it wasn't cooked through either, which is not possible with chicken. And the tarte flambée came last after about an hour because the first one was apparently burnt. Overall, it's a shame, especially since there was no apology or "espresso on the house" or anything like that. Therefore only 2 stars.

I ate the dish organic lentils with spaetzle there. Afterwards I first had flatulence and then diarrhea. There was probably something wrong with the organic lentils, or the organic lentils were not prepared sufficiently. I have eaten lentils in the past. However, without subsequent diarrhea. Otherwise, the Landbrauhaus Remchingen is very nice. I wanted to complain to the restaurant management about it by phone the next day. They said the restaurant management wasn't available and I should send an email. Instead, I published this review. Shortly after the review was published, I received a call from the restaurant management telling me to remove this review.

The food was good on this visit, although I'm glad I only had a simple schnitzel and not the steak like my table neighbors. I thought the service was bad when we wanted to order dessert and she told us that the kitchen was closed and the chef had already left (around 3:30 p.m.). In my opinion, you should have warned us about 10 minutes in advance. Nevertheless, she tried everything and we still got our dessert, which is why we actually give it 2.5 stars for service. The ambience is very nice, but when we were there “beer” was being brewed and unfortunately you could smell it strongly in the restaurant. You get used to it after a while (but it takes time).

We had a great evening at Brauhaus 2.0 :) The food was plentiful and very tasty, but it could have been a little spicier, but that can be changed and remains a matter of taste. The selection is varied, from tarte flambée to local dishes and burgers. The seasonal beer was very delicious, and the open wine was also a good choice. You can't go wrong with the locally produced liqueurs either. We would like to highlight the great service, which made the evening special for us!

No choice of seating for guests. “Just this table.” I also observed this with other guests when the restaurant was half empty. Nobody asked if everything was okay. Unfortunately the fried egg was still raw (the egg white). Nobody was interested. Too bad. Rest was fine.

Opening time is until 11 p.m. We were there at 10 p.m. and wanted to have a beer. Unfortunately we were turned away with the information that it was already closed. Annoying…then the opening hours should be reconsidered or changed.

In itself a good address to sit comfortably together and eat well. The service - which was good and friendly last year - is now poor and has a strong tendency towards rudeness. Incidentally, this is an observation spread over the past nine months. We often had to wait more than 30 minutes before we were even noticed (if you don't order immediately, you have to allow another 10 to 20 minutes), we couldn't order another drink (because hand signals and empty glasses are not noticed). and were literally insulted when we didn't immediately comply with the harsh request to go inside as quickly as possible so that the outside area could be closed. Apparently the thin staffing levels are at their limits and they can't cope with more than 30 guests. Actually a good restaurant but the overall experience coupled with the ambitious pricing makes me avoid the brewery for the next few months. Really a shame. Apart from that, the beer tastes good, as does the food, and the toilets and lounge are clean and intact.

Since suggestions for improvement were asked: I find 1 liter of table water (i.e. tap water) for €6.70 to be an extortion. There should also be cheap mineral water (especially for nutrition-conscious drivers or diabetics), i.e. bottles that are only opened at the table. At least I know what's inside. If it wasn't for the water thing, it would be 5 stars. I generally drink a lot of water and that would make me poor. I can no longer afford a meal. Oh yes, please keep doors to the terrace closed when smoking outside. It's disgusting to be exposed to the smoke wafting in from mineral water.

If you order a cola, you will receive dark, stale, non-carbonated water (please take this into account when ordering!!!). Unfortunately the food isn't any better either. Sauce too thick. The rum steak instead of medium was totally hard and cooked to death (the most expensive on the menu). Cheese spaetzle without taste. Service was totally overwhelmed, the plates were left on our table for almost an hour after the meal. We were there about 2 years ago. Food underground. Since it is now called Landbrauhaus, we gave the restaurant a second chance. However, we were repeatedly disappointed. Landbrauhaus 2.0 no longer sees us!

I'm not picky when it comes to food, but unfortunately that wasn't the case today! The breaded schnitzel was quite average, but the spaetzle was absolutely not good. These were very hard and bland. They also didn't look like the pictures you can find here on Google, maybe we had a bad day... the side salad with the schnitzel was also unfortunately very bland. Unfortunately, it's absolutely inadequate for the high price. The service was very friendly and tried hard, but it seemed as if the staff was understaffed, perhaps the boss wants to save personnel costs and the waitresses have to pay for it... When we told the waitress about the hard spaetzle, she was very friendly and courteous and was able to improve my rating from 2 to 3 stars. The wheat beer and the outdoor area were positive.

Very small portions for the price and the spaetzle really doesn't deserve its name, there are even much better ones from the refrigerated section in retail stores... The meat still tastes good and is braised to perfection. The waiters are always helpful and friendly, but the staff generally seems understaffed. Unfortunately, that was our first and last visit here.

The quality used to be very inconsistent, sometimes better, sometimes worse. However, since it was called Landbrauhaus, the quality has been consistently good. I have nothing to complain about the taste, it is very tasty. The selection on the menu is now also very good. There are also little things on the map. Big praise for the improvement! The atmosphere and service are very good anyway. The only thing I can complain about is the prices. These are way too high for my taste. I would much rather treat myself to eating out in the village more often and not have to spend a fortune on it. After all, it works in the city too. And it shouldn't mean that you go to the city to eat and the money doesn't stay in the village...

It's really nice to sit there. We weren't convinced by the food at all. The portions are quite small, a mini slice of bread with the salad costs extra, the grilled chicken was tiny and extremely dry……not really possible at this rate.

Vegan options: Potato, salad and an overpriced tarte flambée. There is also a vegan soup. As someone who hasn't eaten animal products for 5 years, I can't recommend the Brauhaus. As a vegan option, Brauhaus 2.0 offers the “Vegan Dip” dish (€11). It only consists of a leaf salad with vinegar dressing and a portion of fries. Alternatively, you can eat potato salad, fried potatoes or a completely overpriced tarte flambée (17€ for olives, tomatoes, pepperoni toppings; 14€ in comparison to the one with pork bacon. It seems to me as if the Brauhaus 2.0 just hasn't arrived in 2024 mentally and it's working as if it wanted to exclude people who don't want to eat dead animals. Unfortunately, next Easter we will be moving back to a modern restaurant that offers wholesome animal-free alternatives and where vegans feel welcome. Unfortunately disappointing and therefore not recommended from a personal point of view.

Well, I've eaten better. Waiting time was far too long 3/4 hour for a beer even though the shop wasn't full (it used to be quicker). Food in the canteen was moderate with a waiting time of 90 minutes!!! And the 2 times we hear (that it's a bit of chaos at the moment) hmm and that's from a year apart. Positive. Beer deserves 5 stars!

Service in the beer garden was very good, lunch selection was ok. Price performance ok.

A single catastrophe. Very expensive for nothing and you have to wait forever for everything...the service doesn't cut it..

Mittagstisch (bis 17.00 Uhr) war okay, restliche Preise der Speisen überhöht. Bier ist okay. Die Bedienung war schroff und unfreundlich. Um 16.30 Uhr waren angeblich die meisten Tische ohne Vermerk reserviert, etliche Besucher wurden an Tische in der prallen Sonne verwiesen!

The be-all and end-all of a brewery or tavern is service and solid food at fair prices. Unfortunately, both are written extremely small here. Unfortunately, very long waiting times between orders make the visit unbearable.

Food was delicious and didn't take long. The staff was also quick and friendly. Even though the waitress was alone outside.

The wait for the food was far too long and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. Even the fries for our daughter took a good 45 minutes. Staff friendly, food OK. The location is very nice, large outdoor area and small playground within sight.

The service was friendly and quick, that's how I like it. The Bibbeles cheese was a blob, I imagine fries without potato skins, the salad was at least wet. I remember in the good old days salad was dressed with vinegar, oil and other delicious ingredients. The whole thing in a building made of bare concrete, surrounded by a desert of concrete blocks.

Service initially attentive. Ordered drinks. Received after 45 min. And then ordered the food. An hour later, the kitchen noticed that the ingredient was missing. Waited another quarter of an hour. Rarely waited longer for food than went on a hike. Conclusion: staff nice but understaffed and overwhelmed. Plan 3 hours for dinner in the evening or order in advance. If you're in a hurry, it's not worth a visit.

Bad reviews are questioned and deleted with the initiative of a lawyer instead of questioning the service. Relaunching the name in Landbrauhaus doesn't help Brauhaus 2.0.
