Brasserie in Offenbach am Main

I was really ripped off.. We came around 4 and ordered spaghetti and potato soup for the two of us, but it took 45 minutes haha. If you think it will take a long time, ask in advance;;; I was already annoyed, but the taste was mediocre, and when I asked to pay, they didn't even pay. One time, I raised my hand and asked to pay, and I said okay, but they didn't come for 10 minutes, so I went directly to the server and asked them to pay, but they sat down and told me to wait, so I waited again, but they didn't come... They paid for the tables of the grandmothers right next to me, so I asked them to do the same, and I asked them to do the same. They said someone would do it for them, but they walked away... Ha, the server that said they would pay for it ended up paying for people who asked later than us.. ㅡ- In the end, another server came and waited 25 minutes. I paid the bill in a matter of seconds, but this is the first time I've ever seen such a waste of a tip... It was really the worst, and if there aren't enough servers, you'll have to pay more... I don't understand why they take other customers' orders without paying the bill. The wait time was over an hour and I was so angry. In the end, it was after 5:30 when I finished calculating and woke up. It was the worst. I will never, ever go again.

The restaurant was recommended to me and I was not disappointed! There are individual dishes prepared with attention to detail. I was there with several friends and everyone ordered something different. Everything was very tasty. The relaxed atmosphere and the friendly service topped off our dinner! We'd love to come back :)

Nice atmosphere and suitable for a brasserie. Staff was very friendly. The menu is very extensive and offers something for all tastes. We had the goose platter for two, which was really tasty and more than enough. The cheese and chocolate cake were also delicious. Fairly priced in our opinion. Card payment is possible here. Overall, a great brasserie and an asset to Wilhelmsplatz.

Cozy restaurant in the heart of Offenbach.

The service staff was at our table every 5 minutes when we didn't need them and was quite intrusive. But when we needed her, it always took forever for her to come. I ordered a 200g MEDIUM rump steak. It was raw. And cold! The herb butter didn't melt a bit, the "fresh" steak was so cold. Oh and also the salads. I'm not sure if the salads here are always like this, but they were unfailing. The pieces were way too big and you couldn't fit them in your mouth. You had to cut around inside like it was a schnitzel.

Our visit to this restaurant on a Thursday evening was simply outstanding, and that was largely due to the wonderful service from the blonde, long-haired waitress. She was incredibly attentive and friendly, so we immediately felt at home. Despite the hustle and bustle that evening, she took the time to respond to all of our wishes and created a great atmosphere with her smile. Such personal service is rare and really made our evening special. Thank you very much – we would love to come back!

This is our first time in Frankfurt/Offenbach area and the Brasserie beau d'eau was where we chose to have our first meal. We came here around 8 pm or so. It definitely gives off local vibes. Our family chose to eat all of our meals at local/neighborhood restaurants and the Brasserie beau d'eau did not disappoint with its tasty homemade food options. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Sinam (sp). He was busy, but he took the time to seat us and even asked if we'd like an English menu (since we spoke in English). I was excited to see they had a separate English menu for us to read, rather than having us struggle with Google translate. My family of 4 all ordered different options and man, everything was mouth wateringly delicious!! From the turkey steak, pasta, spicy fried rice, and the chicken burger...wow! We were full, but squeezed in a slice of cheesecake, too. The best part of any dining experience is usually the top notch service you receive, and our experience at the Brasserie was enhanced by Sinam. He was very attentive and engaging, picking up on all the cues of things we'd need, and giving us very helpful suggestions with a friendly and happy demeanor. If you're in the area and not eating here, you're missing out on a gem! We don't usually eat at the same place twice, but I'd definitely come back here before I leave. Great facility, impeccable service! We went in to enjoy a beer, but the waiters brought such delicious dishes that we also ordered dessert and did not regret it.

Friday with a girlfriend and today with 5 people for breakfast. The blonde lady = waitress doesn't enjoy serving people at all. So unfriendly, she sees every additional gesture to order more as personal humiliation. When it's time to pay, she makes us wait for more than 20 MINUTES (please ask us to pay 3 times) If you are completely overwhelmed, the customer doesn't have to feel it! Where is the nice gray-haired gentleman? This person was nice and attentive on previous visits. My 4 guests will probably not visit their bistro/restaurant again

We only came here to drink, the ambience is exactly how a brasserie should be. However, the service was very unfriendly, there was no smile on her face and you didn't feel welcome in any way. Other guests felt the same way; the gentleman at the bar saved the service a little with charm.

I've been a regular customer at this restaurant for over 10 years now. Unfortunately, the service has declined significantly in recent years. In particular, the two older blondes who are in service don't work at all. I've also noticed more and more from other customers and even the bartender that you sometimes have to wait over an hour to pay - even when it's not busy - and that you're greeted and served in a completely unfriendly manner! Unfortunately, this is not an isolated case, but an increasing occurrence. Very disappointing! With such unpleasant interactions with customers, you lose the desire to go to this restaurant. We now make a point of only going when they aren't there. Sad. We still hope for improvement!

A few days ago I ate a salad there. A glass of water would have been enough for me, but I got a whole bottle (which I didn't order). The salad was, according to its components (without meat, etc.), in the cost range of € 3 - 4 and the water served was average, so no St. Leonard's Spring or Lauretana. I paid €23! Too much for Offenbach.

The restaurant is located in a great location It was my first time there. Waited for 20 minutes for someone to come and just have a look at me I took the menu by myself since no one bothered I went inside and interrupted the staff busy chitchatting and told them if they can serve me? Then a lady came and took my order I ordered for steak “WELL DONE” I received uncooked meat after a very long wait. I thought they forgot my order It was during the afternoon when it was not so busy. Only 2-3 tables were occupied It was my first meal of the day, totally ruined It seemed as if the staff didn’t like me, they didn’t want to serve me Every time she came to serve or to clean, she’ll make faces and roll her eyes. Nice restaurant on the market square in Offenbach. The food is very good, unfortunately it wasn't very hot but otherwise the taste was very good. The service was super friendly and very accommodating. The price-performance ratio was okay for the location. Therefore a nice evening.

Today we were there and never again, we waited half an hour and left. The waiters only look in one direction, they don't look at other guests or tables at all. I gave 1 star because unfortunately there is no 0 that you can put.

It's not for nothing that the brasserie is one of our favorite restaurants... the price-performance ratio is right... the food is great and also adapted to the season, it's currently asparagus season and the baked asparagus is a dream, and the Camembert with salad is also highly recommended. ..on market days it is advisable to make a reservation, the brasserie is always busy

After almost 20 years, finally back in my old home, I was happy to be able to dine here again! The food was delicious and the service was friendly and accommodating. Many of the dishes have that special kick of freshness because there is a weekly market twice a week, and that clearly flows into the dishes! I was here regularly 20 years ago and I have to say that if I didn't live so far away I would still like to come, if only for a coffee. Yes, there are also coffee specialties and the cake is delicious, the atmosphere hasn't diminished ;)I'm still a fan. Greetings home, I can recommend the place to everyone!!!

very nice old-fashioned place with a great selection of food and drink. from breakfast all the way to the diner. we have a small portion of schnitzel and flamkuchen, both were amazing. Schnitzel came with superb mushrooms sauce 😋. And the cherry on top was the lady serving us.

We like to come here to Offenbach from Frankfurt and then visit the very beautiful market on Wilhelmsplatz. We are very satisfied and can only recommend the brasserie.

Conveniently situated on the main Hanau square, the atmosphere is welcoming in this authentic German restaurant. Great for families and friends' get-togethers.

I'll start positively: The employees are super nice and do a good job, everything is clean and tidy. Unfortunately, you would have to go there in winter with your winter jacket on because it is far too cold to sit comfortably and eat. The farmer's breakfast was more of a potato omelet without any seasoning or taste. Any layperson can actually do this better. By the way, a small under-counter water heater for little ones would ensure that guests don't freeze at the sink at these temperatures. This is really outdated. Overall, there is a lot of potential for improvement and the place could really be turned into something special. You shouldn't rest on the good situation for too long, but rather continue to develop and move with the times. Of course, this is just my personal opinion and is certainly a matter of opinion.

An einem Abend "zwischen den Jahren" war es nicht einfach einen freien Tisch zu bekommen, doch dann gab es einen freundlichen Service und sehr leckeres Essen.

Ein Restaurant,das an einem grauen Mittwochmittag vollbesetzt ist,braucht keine Mitbewerber am Offenbacher Wilhelmsplatz zu fürchten. Die Küche beherrscht nicht nur alles von mediterran bis bürgerlich,sondern auch die Kunst die Bestellungen einer sechzehnköpfigen Gruppe zeitgleich an den Tisch zu bringen.Das kann nicht jedes Restaurant.

Sehr leckeres Essen! Auch ein paar ausgefallene Sachen, so mein sehr leckerer Flammkuchen mit Parma und Gorgonzola. Freundlich und schnelle Bedinung, preislich ok.

Wir waren zum Abendessen dort. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und sehr schnell. Auf Sonderwünsche würde exzellent eingegangen und ich war super glücklich und begeistert! Der Salat als Sonderwunsch zum Burger war suuuper lecker, mit sehr gutem Dressing. Wir waren alle sehr glücklich mit unserer Wahl. Es war unglaublich lecker und die Qualität ausgesprochen gut! Wir können das Restaurant von ganzem Herzen empfehlen 😊

Hat im Service leider sehr nachgelassen. Service Kraft hat ständig über unseren Tisch hinwegsehen, so als ob wir nicht anwesend wären. Verbesserungswürdig.

Nicht mehr das was es mal war...Frühstück Klassik zum stolzen Preis von 9,30 Euro ,war nicht was ich für diesen Preis erwartet hätte. Die angeblich franz Salami war aus dem günstigen runden pack des Supermarktes, ein scheibchen roher Schinken, eine gekochte mit wenigstens annäherend Metzgerqualität, eine scheibe Bierschinken und je eine dicke ca 1 cm scheibe Fleisch und Leberwurst, achja,zwei scheiben Käse käse aus dem Sparpack gab es auch. Bei zwei Bestellungen bekamen wir 2 Brötchen, 2 scheibchen Baguette und Zwei Wirklich scheibchen dunkles Brot, jeder bekam eine Mini Butter...auf nachfrage nach einem Vollkornbrötchen (gegen Aufpreis ) bekam ich ein recht trockenes mit cerealien bestreutes Brötchen. Für den Preis hätte ich echt was anderes erwartet. Der Service war überfordert, es wurde nicht gefragt ob wir noch Wünsche haben und wie das Frühstück war, insgesa m t 2,5 Stunden da,wegen Wartezeit.

Immer ein Besuch wert. Auf Grund der Personal Situation längere Wartezeit, aber das weiss man eben.

Ich war heute das ersre Mal mit einer Freundin zum Mittagessen hier. Es ist ein nettes kleines Kaffee, mit Außen- und Innengastronomie. Bar- und Kartenzahlung waren möglich. Alles war bedingt barrierefrei - keine Stufen aber teilweise eng), Parkplätze direkt gegenüber auf dem Platz, Zufahrt über Bleichstraße. Wir hatten Haweitoast und Elsässer Flammkuchen, beides war sehr lecker. Beim Haweitoast überraschte mich positiv die Größe der Salatbeilage, die größer war als durch die Angabe in der Speisekarte erwartet hatte. Das Essen kam zeitnah, und heiß, die Bedienung war freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell, Sonderwunsch wurde erfüllt. Wir konnten innerhalb einer 3/4Stunde bestellen, in Ruhe essen und bezahlen. Für eine Mittagspause toll. Die sanitären Anlagen waren sauber, allerdings sehr schmal, für Rollstühle eher nicht geeignet. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung, mit zwei Malzeiten und drei Getränken 31 Euro bezahlt. Insgesamt sehr zufrieden 😍

Waren dort Essen. Der Service war okay. Das Essen war nicht wirklich lecker. Zum sitzen am Marktplatz ist es schön. Wir kommen nicht wieder. Die Grüne Sauce war lauwarm auf dem Teller und hat nicht wirklich Frisch geschmeckt. Das Schnitzel hatte auch einen komischen Beigeschmack.

Wir gehen vor allem zum Frühstück hierher. Es ist reichlich, köstlich und preislich absolut in Ordnung. Die Bedienung ist immer freundlich, selbst wenn es stressig wird. Sitzplätze gibt es zwar vor allem draußen reichlich, vor allem samstags (Markttag) empfiehlt sich aber unbedingt eine Reservierung ( geht aber nur drinnen). Auch das Abendessen ist super. Gute Auswahl, tolle Qualität zu fairen Preisen und sehr nettes Personal.

Ich gehe sehr gerne hier frühstücken, es schmeckt immer lecker, man kann Wünsche äußern und Wurst gegen Käse austauschen. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Tolle Lokation direkt am Marktplatz gelegen, viele Außenplätze, gutes Speiseangebot. Bedienung nett aber völlig überfordert, Küche kam auch nicht hinterher. Über 1,5 Stunden auf 3 Eier gewartet, Gericht nicht komplett serviert, Bestellung vergessen. Alles im allen werde kein Wiederholungstäter dazu ist mir meine Zeit zu kostbar.

Man sitzt gerade im Sommer zum Frühstück schön in der Sonne. Personal sehr nett. Essen ist lecker. Abwechslungsreiche Wochenkarte.

What can I say? The food and service is great. The location itself is very cozy. Always has a nice atmosphere. The Irish schnitzel is my favorite, with Cheddar and bacon. I can't recall the name, but I get it almost every time. Breakfast here is also quite lovely.
