Great food at affordable prices – and very generous portions, too. The friendliness of the staff is remarkable. Highly recommended.

We were there as a large group with a table reservation in advance. The beautiful weather allowed us to sit outside. The drinks and food were delicious. And the prices were more than reasonable. The service was also extremely attentive! I can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. And I would definitely come back. For those who absolutely want fish: when we were there, there wasn't a single fish dish available.

It was delicious; we received quick and friendly service even at the back table, and we had a great time. We love the handwritten, constantly changing menu above the bar 👌🏼, even though we chose a dish from the menu this time.

Mega great restaurant. Especially in the evening. Went there with my wife on a Saturday evening, she immediately liked the ambience and the red wine. I was skeptical at first but the menu and the staff convinced me. They are super friendly and accommodating. The menu offers a great whiskey selection. I was particularly enthusiastic about the 12 year old Aberfeldy and will always enjoy it in this restaurant when I am in Dresden. Thank you to you, you are something very special. Please keep it that way.

It is a very good local place to have local beer and food. The only problem was that the daily menu was in German only, but the waiter helped and translated it for me. I enjoyed my dinner 😉

Everything was very tasty and the service was super nice.

Nausea! We were here 14 days ago and ate the red lentil soup... I have no idea how many times this has been extended. It didn't taste like anything, it was completely overcooked, even the taste of the piece of ginger was barely recognizable... And that for 9.80 euros!!! Shame on you!!!! We're definitely not coming back!

A small and cozy restaurant, but also quite cramped. The staff is super hospitable and quick, despite being busy. The menu is very economical, with mainly dishes from the small daily menu. It offers a limited but good mix of meat and vegetarian dishes, soup and salad. The dishes are inexpensive and good. Finding a free spot is a matter of luck if you don't have a reservation.

Definitely worth walking around for. Make a reservation in the evening. The atmosphere is great. Cozy, yet lots of privacy. Outside there was also a large terrace that was almost completely covered.

Yesterday I went to Bottoms Up with two friends in the evening. Since this restaurant is not only very beautiful but also very popular, we couldn't find a place outside at first. But the extremely friendly service didn't turn us away. On the contrary! We were briefly sat down inside and after a short wait we were assigned the next available table. We felt very well served and the food didn't take long to arrive. It was delicious! Thank you very much and see you soon! :)

The place is nice, unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated greatly now that long-time chef Miguel no longer works there. Some time ago we had a roast beef that was unfortunately tough and the sauce was somehow off. They said that too. Last week we tried the spiced meat, unfortunately it wasn't tasty at all, chicken with a watery liquid and a few peas. There are definitely a few dishes that are still OK, but we'll skip the dishes here for now. That's a real shame, I hope the expected quality comes back at some point.

On Wednesday I spontaneously wanted to reserve a table. During a phone call, an employee laughed at me and then hung up. I fundamentally understand that a short-term request usually cannot be met and that calls during operations represent an additional burden for employees. I still found the employee's behavior to be disrespectful. A factual and customer-oriented feedback would be desirable for me in the future.

A very nice beer garden with good food for a cozy evening. The dishes change regularly (weekly?) and are varied. There are vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

We arrived around 8:30 p.m. and wanted to have a few beers. When the waitress saw my companion, she rolled her eyes because obviously people dressed in alternative clothes are not welcome. Half an hour later, all the tables around us were served, but no one even said hello to us. We decided to go because we were expecting a friend to join us and not experience the whole thing. The last time we were there was a good two years ago and it was a nice evening, but obviously Bottoms Up no longer relies on Dresdeners. A pity

We were there for a pen & paper session and had the perfect seating area. Off the beaten track with a rustic window overlooking the Neustadt. Felt like Aragorn in the “Dancing Pony”. Despite the corner, service came by often. Food was delicious and individual. No 0815 card. Only the drinks menu is unsuitable for diabetics. Yes, I know, it's a pub. But I can usually order at least one type of light/zero drink. It's a shame for me, but a great recommendation for everyone else.

Beer tastes good, the atmosphere is pleasant. Prices are also in the normal range.

Schönes uriges Lokal mit wechselnder Speisenauswahl. Von Bier über Cocktails und Wein findet jeder etwas zu trinken. Ab 22 Uhr wird Indoor geraucht, das sollte man vorher bedenken, wenn man ein Problem damit hat.

Ich liebe das Bottoms Up. Das Essen ist frisch, die Bedienung immer freundlich, das Ambiente urig und gemütlich ... mein go-to Spot nr. 1 :-)

Das Bottoms Up ist jedesmal der zuverlässige Ort um sich mit seinen besten Freunden zutreffen und ein kühles Bier zu genießen. Selbst die warme Küche hat uns überzeugt. Einziger Minuspunkt ist, dass nach 22:00 geraucht werden darf.

Gemütliches Lokal mit wechselnder Karte. Geschmacklich sehr gut. Leider war beim Wildgulasch der zugehörige Rotkraut nur lauwarm. Bei der Schweinelende war das Fleisch kalt.

Gemütliche Kneipe etwas abseits der Hotspots in der Dresdner Neustadt. Solides Essen und exotischere Biersorten werden serviert.

Die Quarkkäulchen waren excellent, der Hirschbraten so naja, ein bisschen als wären die Zutaten und Belagen aus dem Netto. Nichtdestotrotz ist es ein schöner Ort der noch das ursprüngliche Neustart Flair hat. Vielleicht etwas laut, aber man kann ja nicht alles haben, also in Ordnung. Ab 22 Uhr darf geraucht werden

Nettes Ambiente mit sehr leckerem Bier. Von außen unscheinbar aber dann wirklich ein Highlight des Abends. Sehr leckere Speisen zu einem echt fairen Preis - insgesamt ein kleiner Geheimtipp!

Hier passt einfach das Gesamtpaket! Die Tageskarte hat immer wieder etwas Neues und Leckeres zu bieten, der Service ist toll und sehr aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein und das Ambiente mit seinem ganz eigenen Wohlfühl-Charme rundet das Ganze ab. Einfach mal reinschauen und selbst ein Bild machen! Am besten vorher reservieren 😉

Absolutely loved this place. Atmosphere is great. Service was wonderful. They couldn't have been nicer. Easy to get to and it's quite a cozy spot. I went on a Monday so it was pretty quiet. Definitely recommend stopping here along your travels.

Їжа не смачна, замовили яловичину, м'ясо було пересушене. А соус -суцільне пересмажене борошно. Залишились неприємні враження, бо від німецькох кухні очикували більшого.

waren letzten Samstag dort - schön gemütlich - Essen war voll lecker und weil es mit dem Essen ein bisschen länger gedauert hat (kann passieren - Laden war voll) gabs ein Getränk nach Wahl aufs Haus. Also ich geh auf jeden Fall wieder hin.

Toller Ort ... Ich habe ihn mit Freunden geteilt und sie haben uns sehr gut behandelt und uns hat das Getränk sehr gut geschmeckt ... Ich kann sagen, dass ich wieder an diesen Ort zurückkehren werde!!!!

Rustikales Restaurant mit schönem Biergarten! Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend und bedient sehr flott! Die Speisen sind frisch zubereitet und lecker. Es gibt eine feste Karte und wechselde Tagesangebote. Ein Muss beim nächsten Besuch in Dresden.

Sontag Fruhstuck im Garten: Super Super.

Sehr uriges Lokal, das perfekt zur Neustadt passt. Schönen Innengarten mit regelmäßig wechselnder, saisonaler Speisekarte. Aufmerksame Kellner, hatten alles im Blick, auch wenn alles belegt war.

Schnitzel TK&ungewürzt, Kartoffelsalat geschmacklich wie aus dem Eimer (für 16,90€) Kellner unfreundlich&wirkt komplett überfordert. Leider nicht empfehlenswert.

A German, Italian, and a New Zealander walked into a bar. We soon discovered busy yet friendly staff, uncomplicated and delicious food, and drinks that hit the spot. The indoor outdoor aspect is particularly charming and we didn’t want to leave frankly. Thanks all at Bottoms Up.

Ich war nun schon mehrfach in Bottoms Up und bin immer wieder begeistert. Das Essen ist grandios und schmeckt immer mega. Es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei und auch mit einer Unverträglichkeit kann man hier super Essen. Der Service ist sehr hilfsbereit und immer freundlich egal wie viel Stress sie jedesmal haben. Mich sieht man dort auf jeden Fall wieder. Eine Tischvorbestellung ist sehr ratsam

We shared several plates and loved everything! The Matjes nach Nordischer Art was our favorite. My husband, the most picky eater in the family, enjoyed Soljanka soup especially. Although they were fully, the made room for us at a very enjoyable table.

Bottoms Up restaurant in Neustadt, Dresden offers a delightful dining experience that I would happily return to again and again. The small yard, with its cozy and green atmosphere, creates a lovely ambiance. However, during my visit, the table we were given was quite small, and the floor of the yard was made of stone. Unfortunately, this caused some inconvenience as the chair’s legs would occasionally slip between the stones, making it challenging to maintain balance. Despite this minor drawback, the overall experience was enjoyable. The Salat mit Ziegenkäse, in particular, stood out as a flavorful and satisfying dinner choice. Additionally, the staff was attentive and provided excellent service throughout the meal. If you’re looking for a charming dining spot in Neustadt, Dresden, I recommend giving Bottoms Up a try.

I just had a beer in the beer garden. The place looks nice and the service was good.

Ich muss dazu sagen. Ich habe dort nur das Bier ausprobiert und fand es gut. Essen muss man später nochmal testen. Ne Freundin hatte sich Essen bestellt was difinitiv nicht auf der Karte stand. Es wurde trotzdem zubereitet und schien wohl gut zu schmecken.

Muy buen restaurante de cocina regional típica y algunos añadidos en la carta semanal. La comida todo en orden, bueno, merece la pena comer el estofado de ternera con Knödel de pan de la región. El ambiente es animado y acogedor. Nos gustó que ofrecen vino al medio litro para cuando quieres más de un vaso pero no una botella entera.

Wir mögen das hier am Kugelplatz so viele Kneipen sind und das Leben durch viele alteingesessene und viele Neu und Gäste so eine schöne wilde und internationale Mischung gibt und genau die kann man im Buttoms Up erleben ... da ist immer was los der Spanier trifft einen Jugoslawen und die sind mit einem Dresdner Urgestein verabredet und trffen dann am Tisch manchmal auf die Italienerin die mit ihrer Neustädter Freundin über ihren neuen Freund aus Nicaragua tratscht ... Dabei der Tisch zur Welt wird und sich am Ende alle in den Armen liegen ...
