We signed up with 19 people at relatively short notice and sat and chatted from 3 p.m. until late into the evening, no one missed out. Coffee, cake, drinks, and the food all went well, and the prices were very fair; there was something for everyone... ...solid, no-nonsense cooking!

Six of us were there for lunch! All the dishes were truly delicious and looked the part. The service was very friendly and attentive. The view outside exuded a lovely sense of tranquility.

From the terrace, you have a beautiful view of the marina. After a long bike ride, we only stopped there for a drink. Although only about half the tables on the terrace were occupied, the waitress seemed overwhelmed. We had to wait a long time for our drinks and noticed that some guests weren't even spoken to. Of course, it's no surprise that guests leave the restaurant without eating anything.

Wow, I'm thrilled 🤩 with the quality of the food. My new favorite Italian restaurant! Friendly service and great location.

The food and the view of the harbor and the Hunte River are great. However, the service and friendliness could be improved. The wait times to be greeted and for the order to be taken are too long. The wait for the food to arrive after ordering is okay, but the wait for the bill isn't. One waiter for about 20-30 guests seems very short to me. We won't be visiting this restaurant again. After waiting 20 minutes for the bill, I'm going to head out to find the cash register.

We received excellent service here. The coffee was absolutely delicious. The view is simply fantastic.

It was our first and last time eating there. Italian hospitality is nowhere to be found here. Waiters and chefs sit outside, smoking or playing on their phones, which isn't a problem during a break, but they completely block our side and then smear everything on their aprons. The food was bad, the bottom layer of the lasagna was burnt. Far too many tomatoes, and the minced meat was just in the sauce and not thickened. The staff was very unfriendly, I can only confirm. The location is excellent, with a great view of the Hunte and the marina. But that's the only nice thing.

We had a delicious lunch here today. The restaurant opened a little late, and the owner immediately apologized. It wasn't a problem for us; we had plenty of time. The ambiance isn't quite my taste. The location is great, right on the water. You can really enjoy yourself here. We'll be coming here for lunch more often now. :-)

A very nice Italian waitress, courteous, attentive, and very friendly. The same cannot be said for her colleague (boss?) behind the counter. She berated her colleague in front of all the guests and told her what to do. Unacceptable behavior, especially since the waitress was doing her absolute best in a completely full house. Please treat your staff better, because they are your most valuable asset. A business depends on good staff. The elderly lady behind the counter urgently needs to take a etiquette class.

The pizza had a slightly thick crust, but it tasted good. The drink wasn't cold enough, and the service was a bit overwhelmed. A drink only arrived after I reordered and was told I wanted to pay, but it took a very long time (more than 10 minutes).

Delicious food. The service needs a lot of improvement. It was quite busy, yet we as guests received little attention. The wait was very long. No card payments accepted, although this is indicated in the entrance area. I wish them continued success!

The food at Da Cosmo was absolutely fantastic.

My fiancé and I met at this restaurant – so we wanted to return here for our anniversary. It's a special place for us, one we've since planned to visit every year. We were full of anticipation. Unfortunately, this joy was quickly dampened. When we went to order, the waitress who served us was very rude. She urged us to hurry, telling us to "please hurry up" because she still had work to do, even though, in a restaurant, the guests are the work. When I wanted to order my dish, I was told in a harsh, unfriendly tone that I had to give the number. I emphasized several times that I would like the antipasti without pork, but then it came with pork. Instead of discreetly communicating this to the kitchen, she shouted loudly across the restaurant that I was "Muslim" – she repeated this three or four times. When we ended up not eating the melon on our plates because we were simply full, the next comment came: "Don't Muslims eat melon either?" For me personally, that was the point where I felt truly uncomfortable and attacked; it was just too much. The sensitivity was lacking. I then asked another colleague, who had been friendly to us before, if she could take over for us. When the previous waitress returned and asked what she had done wrong, I calmly explained everything to her. Her response was that she was still irritated from the night before, which is understandable from a human perspective, but unfortunately couldn't save the evening for us. It's a shame that such a lovely evening, which we were really looking forward to, turned out this way. We both come from the restaurant industry and know how stressful the job can be, but we've never experienced such an atmosphere before. My fiancé was speechless and simply said that he definitely didn't want to go there again. It would be nice if the waitress could show the friendliness she surely has in her heart more in her interactions with guests in the future. Because that makes such a difference – especially in a restaurant that is associated with special moments for many people. At the end, she brought us a drink as an apology to toast our anniversary, which we were delighted about.

The pizza was OK, but the service was unacceptable. We tried ordering dessert three times, but after a 20-minute wait we moved on to Brake for ice cream.

A very nice place to eat. This statement refers to the outdoor area (I haven't eaten inside yet). Highly recommended in nice weather, as you have a wonderful view of the marina. You can also see the Hunte and Weser rivers with their boat traffic. The pizza and steak were excellent. When the chef isn't there (he's out shopping for a while), you may have to wait for certain dishes or order something else. However, in this setting, the wait is bearable.

Discovered by chance, very nice location, delicious pizza. We were unlucky that a larger group was there, so the service wasn't quite as good. But so what... I was on vacation.

We were there for the second time today. And quite possibly the last. After waiting 20 minutes without a menu or drinks and no sign of anyone paying us any attention, we left without saying a word. Another restaurant did much better 😉 What a shame 😏

The ambiance is more like a boathouse, but the quality of the food could compete with that of any big city. We were truly astonished during our chance visit.

Picturesque restaurant with top-notch service – This restaurant is beautifully situated directly on the Hunte and Weser rivers, offering magnificent views of the river landscape. Five of us and one child went there to eat. First of all, we received a rather unfriendly welcome. When we got our drinks, they were very warm. When we asked if we could have ice cubes, the waitress very rudely told us that no ice cubes were needed as the drinks were cold. But she reluctantly brought us ice cubes. Then our orders were constantly forgotten. When we asked, we were simply told that nothing had been ordered or nothing had been said. Furthermore, the salad was quite brown, moldy and poorly served. The waitress was very unfriendly and said that in Italy you don't throw anything away and that you eat it there. The head chef was also very unfriendly and just said that everyone was cooking today and left. That shows that they are not open to criticism. When we wanted to pay, we had to go to the counter instead of paying at the table like the people at the next table, which is actually customary for restaurants. It's all a shame because it can be very nice in such a beautiful location. First and last time!

The staff was very unfriendly; the lettuce had brown leaves. When we asked about it, they said the lettuce was fine and that in Italy, nothing is thrown away. We won't eat there again.

I wouldn't order my meal twice. But it's a nice restaurant with a great terrace and view.

We wanted to rest here on our bike tour on May 1st. We knew it would be full. But we found a nice free space outside. However, it stayed that way. There were 3 tables waiting for us to be served. She came, frantically wiped the table and disappeared again. After waiting another 10 minutes we left again. A holiday like this doesn't come as a surprise, nor does the weather forecast. Why can’t a restaurateur plan accordingly? Too bad.

Takeaway: Pizza OK. Unfortunately, pasta/tortellini wasn't tasty, super dry, almost no sauce - a shame!

Wir nutzen unseren Oldtimer gern für eine Fahrt über Land und kombinieren es dann mit einer Einkehr , etwas essen und trinken. Parken geht hervorragend, draußen sitzen und die Schiffe beobachten und/oder Sonne genießen. Wir als Hobbyköche, gern arabisch, indisch, italienisch, mediterran, können mit Recht sagen, daß es hier vernünftige Pizza und korrekte Salate gibt. Eswird vernünftige Caputo Mehl verwendet und die Zutaten sind nicht mager. Schlechte Bewertungen können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Vielleicht gab es ja mal Probleme mit dem Personal (wir leben im Zeitalter des Personalmangels) oder die Gäste hatten einfach zu viel Hunger oder sonstwie keinen guten Tag. Sollte es woanders in Elsfleth nicht schmecken, dann hierher zu Cosimo. In Oldenburg habe ich noch keine vergleichbare Pizza gefunden. Mein Tipp: Pizza inferno!

Good Italian restaurant with a large selection of Italian classics from pizza to pasta, meat, salad and fish. Even as a vegetarian you will find a wide selection. The food is delicious, the portions are decent. The service was quick and friendly. We'd love to come back.

Quite a mishmash of furniture. Somehow more of a cafeteria atmosphere than a cozy restaurant. Lots of Tk products, little homemade. The garlic here comes already chopped and has no aroma or taste. It doesn't smell like it when you come in. I find it rather unusual for an Italian. My pizza was supposed to be with spinach and pancetta. Spinach was delicious, the “pancetta” was simple bacon. They also serve carbonara with cream and ham, which really says it all about the restaurant. The food was ok but not great either. Service was quick and super friendly.

We waited a very long time for someone to come up to us to take our order. Several times they said “we’ll come over now” and no one came. Then the man brought the pizza and adjusted it on the plate with his finger! He's not particularly polite about all this. Very gloomy and unfriendly. The vegetable soup was very salty. We waited about 40 minutes for the bill. The girl said she would come over, we waited for about 30 minutes, but she didn’t come up. I had to look for the waiter again. A nice woman came up, but unfortunately, the only pleasant things about this restaurant were her and the location. Nice area by the river and children's playground. There was also a delicious cake with cherries. But in general, a very long wait, very salty food, an unfriendly man touching our pizza with his finger spoiled the impression

I think it's a shame that you're neglected when you're younger

Well, we were here because of the many positive posts. Unfortunately we didn't like it at all. We, 2 people, ordered 1 minestrone and 1 bruschetta for me, mentioned twice, both for me. 1 pizza for my husband. My food came together very quickly. I really didn't like anything about it. The bruschetta was well roasted but the tomato salad on top was just bitter. For me the soup had nothing to do with minestrone, it tasted totally like ready-made broth with 2 Brussels sprouts, 5 mini tomatoes in pieces, a few green beans, ready. There were pizza rolls with it I finished eating both parts, then after about 45 minutes the pizza arrived. Wafer-thin base, the cooked ham was thicker than the base It's a real shame, the location is really nice.

There were 7 of us. Eating there....in short...the food was good and tasty....BUT...the service leaves a lot to be desired...unfriendly and not attentive...unfortunately... Drinks were not offered again and the response to requests was unfriendly....the women's toilets resemble a sauna....since the oven and fumes are right next to it....the ambience....yes water is nice but inside.... broken flowers, flies...decoration that is getting old...it's a shame...we won't be able to find our way here at first.

There were 5 of us and we reserved a table at short notice (Sunday evening). It was very well attended, the staff were really challenged but very friendly. We had to be a little patient until the order was taken, and sometimes something was missing or wasn't delivered, but we understood. We would go there again if we are in the area. LG Carmen

Very nice boss, quick service, food was plentiful and tasty. I can only recommend it, there's probably going to be a lot going on next Saturday and the yacht and sailing club is having a big club party, so stop by on Saturday.

Went there for dinner with a few people and everyone really enjoyed it. I had the Pollo Diavola pizza. Personally, there was a bit too much roasted onion on it for me, but otherwise very tasty with the herb sauce instead of tomato sauce.
