We as tourists landed here by chance and looked surprised for a brief moment when we entered the location. On the way to the table, my colleague said that we had definitely found a real gem of German home cooking at a fair price. And that's how it was. The service was friendly, courteous and really very personable All three of us had fresh food, plenty of it and really good. You could pay in cash and Paypal. With a starter, main course and 2 drinks each for €28 per portion, the whole thing was really a very cheap dinner for FFM.

Rating for the boathouse on the Main The Bootshaus am Main is a true gem in Frankfurt! The location right on the water offers breathtaking views, especially at sunset when the colors of the sky are reflected in the Main. The terrace is the perfect place to relax on warm days and enjoy the view of the boats passing by. The food is really excellent. The menu offers a nice selection of regional dishes that are freshly prepared. The quality of the ingredients is noticeable and the portions are generous. The service was friendly and attentive. It's worth reserving in advance to secure a spot with a view. Overall, the Bootshaus am Main offers an all-round successful experience - good food, a great atmosphere and a fantastic view. I can only recommend it!

Typical Frankfurt cuisine, very nice service and a great location on the Main in the Ruder Club.

The food was great, friends of German home cooking will get their money's worth here. Delicious freshly tapped beer from extremely friendly service, plus a fantastic view of the Main and the Mainhattan skyline. What more could you want, simply wonderful, I'll definitely be back soon.

Was here as part of a conference meeting. The only real positive was the service. Food and ambience on the level of a factory canteen in the 80s. You can definitely do better, of course rate my impression on one evening. And it wasn't really that exciting.

We went out to eat spontaneously yesterday and were very pleasantly surprised.

Fuss free and simple restaurant. However the balcony seats have fantastic view of the Rhine river making any meal or drink you have a much more pleasurable activity. Had the schnitzel with green sauce. Its crispy and well marinated but the sauce is a little too salty. There is only 1 lady server who had to handle the serving, clearing and cashiering. Yet she is prompt and friendly. Hats off to her!

I was at a wedding party here and the location is definitely suitable for that! We had a very nice afternoon/evening, the service staff were super competent and friendly and fulfilled every wish quickly and reliably. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food in the restaurant as we had a buffet.

It's a quiet place where you can enjoy the night view. The hot soup is excellent, and the schnittel and beer are also satisfactory. The staff's service is also very warm.

Meeting point for walkers, cyclists, recreational athletes and canoeing Olympians in the middle of the countryside. People meet here to canoe, talk and enjoy. At the snack bar there is bratwurst, lentil soup, sausages,... and of course various drinks. Just take a break at the Pistorisstrasse boathouse.

Very simple location with a spectacular view of Frankfurt city. The lady from the service was extremely warm and friendly. The meal was okay. The opening times are not necessarily correct. Tip: after dark, enjoy a drink on the terrace and the spectacular view of the illuminated city of Frankfurt.

Difficult to describe. Simple furnishings, simple rustic card. Smaller celebrations for up to 30 people are possible with the friendly permanent staff. Food is simple and good, see menu. It tastes even better with the view of the water and the skyline. It's absolutely worth the price for the range of services on offer.

Vom Außenbereich aus hat man eine schöne Aussicht auf den Main und die Frankfurter Skyline. Leider ist der Balkon sehr schmal, so dass man kaum Platz hat, wenn man etwas essen möchte.

Auch mein zweiter Besuch bei tollem Wetter zeigte wieder auch bei größerem Andrang Superservice und leckeres Essen. Man spürt einfach als Familie zusammenhält und Mama in der Küche jeden Tag tolle Sachen zaubert ganz abgesehen von dem tollen Ausblick über den Main mit traumhaften Sonnenuntergang.

Faire Preise für eine sehr schöne Lage direkt am Main. Der Service war freundlich, man muss allerdings ein wenig Geduld mitbringen. Essen war ok.

Wir sind nur zufällig vorbeigelaufen und sind froh dieses tolle Restaurant gefunden zu haben. Es war sehr lecker, eine mega Aussicht auf den Main und der Kellner war so freundlich, habe ich selten so erlebt. 10/10 Jackpot!

We had the weinershnitzel and the frankfurter schnitzel with the green sauce. The food was absolutely delicious. Some of the wait staff didn't speak much English, but they were still very good about tending to us, even though we couldn't communicate very well. They were accommodating and helpful, and overall it was a great dining experience!

Sehr schöner Ort, um einen Sundowner zu nehmen. Das Essen ist o.k aber die Preise sind wirr. So kostet im Internet ein Schnitzel mit Pommes 8,90. Dann bekam ich eine Karte, uups 10,90. Mein Kumpel hatte ein handschriftlich verbesserte Karte. Schnitzel mit Pommes 12,90. Das Schnitzel war o.k aber ähnelte eher an eine Kinderportion. Das Weizenbier kostet 4,50. Nun, die Lage und der Blick ist gut, aber für eine Vereinsgaststätte zu teuer. Der Service war indes schnell, umsichtig und sehr freundlich.

Toller Platz als Balkon zum treiben an der Promenade. Nix dolles, aber wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den Abend mit Sonnenuntergang total genossen. Highly recommended!

Not part of the club. Only had lunches at the clubhouse and it has a similar vibe to a laid back golf clubhouse. Food was also always really decent and you get a prime view of the city for free.

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Es gibt abwechslungsreiche Tagesangebote und eine kleine Speisekarte. Immer wieder gut.

Ist halt ein Vereinslokal, deswegen vom Ambiente eher schlicht. Allerdings überrascht der Sevice und das wirklich gute Essen zu moderaten Preisen außerordentlich. Gehe ich auf jeden Fall wieder hin.

Habe dieses Café schon mehrmals besucht und war jedes Mal begeistert von dem leckeren Essen und dem freundlichen Service!
