Boogie Pizza in Gelsenkirchen

We often order from Arena for our company and are always satisfied. The driver is especially nice 😊 A few more vegan options on the menu would be nice, but otherwise, we're always very satisfied.

We ordered through Lieferando. Unfortunately, we had to wait almost an hour and a half for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was lukewarm. The crust of the pizza wasn't crispy at all, more like it had been reheated. It's a real shame, we usually order from them regularly.

I don't mean to offend anyone. Tastes, as we all know, vary. There's nothing negative to say about the quality of the food itself! Let me get that out of the way first. We ordered at the kids' request, influenced by social media – just to try something new. But I have to say, I haven't eaten such bland food in a very long time. - The pizza cheese was completely tasteless. - The pizza base was okay, the crust was still very pale, but dry. And what felt like 100g of oregano. - We ordered garlic on a Margherita pizza, which costs extra on Lieferando – but there was a pile of crushed garlic in the middle of the pizza. We had to spread it around ourselves (yes, it's a first-world problem, but it happens). - The Bolognese sauce was bland – it needed more salt and pepper. - The aioli served with the pizza rolls didn't deserve the name at all. We can't even define the taste. Salty and otherwise indefinable. - The herb butter was also very bland. It tasted like butter with just a hint of salt and a few herbs for appearance. But it lacked seasoning. Three out of four people said "no, never again" after the second bite. The fourth person ordered the doner calzone and said "it was alright." It's Sunday, they're busy—no question. Maybe we were just unlucky—but for us, this was our first and last order.
