The four of us spent a nice evening here on the occasion of a birthday. The service was very good and we all really enjoyed the food, from the starters to the main course to the bamboo schnapps/plum wine to the fortune cookie 😁. And the boss was very nice and friendly (dry seared chicken was so delicious at our special request 👍. We'll be back 🫶 Thanks

We ordered food there, so I can't say much about the service or ambience. The food is definitely very tasty and the portions are quite large. We also received a few snacks with our order, which I thought was a very nice gesture.

Typical, usual Asian restaurant Very friendly service in the usual Chinese style restaurant. Map is clear and equally typical. The food was good, yes it lacked a certain kick, but the tamarind sauce was served in a bowl so you could pour it over it as you wish. The prices are very fair and appropriate for the food. We can recommend the normal menu if you want a good, typical Asian meal. If you want something special, you've come to the wrong place. Plum wine on the house

You can't understand the positive reviews. We often go out for Asian buffet meals, but have never been as disappointed as in this restaurant. The spring rolls were cold inside, even though they were freshly prepared for the buffet. The other dishes were inedible, they just tasted like fat and were soaked in it...Lacked of spices and flavor. We will no longer eat there and will no longer recommend this restaurant. In autumn 2023 it was very tasty there, but unfortunately this is no longer the case and the quality is lacking.

A culinary surprise! We were thrilled with the quality of the food and the friendly service. We haven't eaten so well in a long time and are happy to have found this culinary gem! The other guests were also enthusiastic about the quality and the friendly service. An unreserved recommendation!

Ordered today via Lieferando. The food we ordered was delivered very quickly, hot and incredibly tasty. Gladly again, would have given 10 stars.

We had dinner in the afternoon and had No. 53 duck and No. 34 beef with fried noodles. All three dishes tasted boring enough to fall asleep to. There was a lack of spices, taste and a visually delicious impression. We couldn't find a balanced price-performance ratio in terms of taste. Our conclusion: NEVER eat there again!

We had a buffet which wasn't as overloaded as we usually see it - class instead of mass... The four of us tried a lot (a lot 😅), everything was super delicious 👍🏼 The service was absolutely friendly and lovely, we'll definitely be happy to come back!!!

Buffet is also ok for the price, but the food from the menu is much better! Give the few euros more, it's worth it. The duck was worlds better than any Chinese takeaway in the area. Soups also very good

Super tasty, authentic food. Both the vegetarian dishes and the Pho Bo were really good. The service was super nice and attentive and took special care of the children. The birthday father also received a present. We are pleased to have found the restaurant. Everything fits together here.

We had dinner with the family and were thrilled. The Pho (Vietnamese national dish) was excellent and reminded us of vacation in Vietnam. The starter (mango salad) was just as delicious as the self-assembled summer rolls (main course). Everything was fresh and with lots of herbs. We are already looking forward to the next visit. The waitress was also super nice, friendly and accommodating. Thank you for the lovely evening

I have to say in advance that we eat out a lot of Asian food and also cook ourselves. We were lured away by the many positive reviews. As a starter there was a mixed plate for 1 person and a Tom Gha Kai. The starter plate came with 2 sauces - sweet and sour (from the bottle?) and peanut - which unfortunately didn't taste very authentic. The beef on the skewers was tart and rubbery. Everything is fried. In short: not convincing. Unfortunately, the soup had nothing to do with a Tom Gha Kai: no acid, no galangal, no coriander root or lemongrass. It was just chicken, champions and coconut milk. The main courses were better: tofu with vegetables and fried. Noodles, crispy duck with massaman curry, although the duck was unfortunately very dry - the taste of the massaman curry was ok. Service friendly, rooms very dark, chairs and tables old. It didn't seem very inviting, cozy or Asian. We were there at lunchtime and the restaurant was almost empty. We would not recommend Bonjour Saigon 22 to friends looking for authentic Thai or Vietnamese cuisine. Unfortunately, we cannot understand the many positive reviews. But maybe we are too critical.

Tried the Vietnamese restaurant in Mechernich Breitenbenden “Bonjour Saigon 22” some time ago. Great menu, cheap lunch deals! Very friendly, caring and familiar operators and most importantly, very tasty food 👍🏻

Unfortunately there is no pork meat! Buffet only on weekends.

Were there on New Year's Eve. Nice cozy atmosphere. Food satisfactory, doesn't blow me away, but okay for the price. The selection could have been more. Maybe a little fish with it. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Price at 17.50 is reasonable for a buffet.

We ordered via Lieferando. What was delivered to us was bottom drawer. The spring rolls were burnt and floating in fat in the bag. The beef fried rice was squished into a disgusting mess in a small box. Don't even get me started on the size of the portions. Although it was expressly pointed out that I had a severe fish allergy and was asked not to add fish sauce, a leaky bowl of fish sauce was squeezed into the bag with all the food in it. That then expired promptly. All the food was contaminated and had to be thrown away. Nobody wanted to risk suffocation. When you called there, you were made to feel rude. NEVER AGAIN !

Wir haben als Familie hauptsächlich vegetarisch gegessen. Es hat uns außerordentlich gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Zum Abschluss gab's noch ein Pflaumenwein aufs Haus. Gerne wieder.

Easily the best asian restaurant in the area. We ordered 5 different dishes and all turned out to be fantastically authentic. It's a mixed vietnamese and south Chinese restaurant. The owner is friendly and service is top notch! He also gave us free desserts.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit gemütlichen Ambiente. Das Essen war sehr lecker, hatten einmal Huhn und einmal Vegetarisch. Nach so einem leckeren Essen durfte der Nachtisch natürlich nicht fehlen 😉 Alles super lecker. Die Bedienung war freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Sollten wir wieder auf der Ecke sein, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Angenehmes Restaurant, welches alte Erinnerungen weckt. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und man hat am Fenster einen schönen Blick auf den Bach. Die Speisekarte hatte eine abwechslungsreiche Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Leider gibt es in der näheren Umgebung keine weiteren Restaurants mit einer ähnlich großen Auswahl. Das Essen kam schnell, war lecker gewürzt und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir werden im nächsten Urlaub bestimmt wieder hier essen.

Wir haben dort schon mehrfach bestellt und waren jedesmal sehr zufrieden. Nun waren wir das erste Mal vor Ort und haben uns für das Buffet entschieden. Das Buffet ist nicht riesig aber alle Speisen waren sehr lecker und immer warm. Es wurde nach Bedarf und Anzahl der Gäste nachgefüllt. So lag keine Speise Stunden in den Behältern und es wurde so nihct matschig. Preis Leistung war für uns ok. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam aber nicht zu aufdringlich, was wir sehr angenehm fanden. Zudem waren alle sehr kinderfreundlich. Wir können das Restaurant definitiv empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres und reichhaltiges Buffet, das immer wieder mit frisch zubereiteten Speisen überzeugt. Geradlinig und ohne Schicki-Micki 👍🏻. Alle Damen und Herren im Service (einschl. Betreiber-Paar) sind immer freundlich und um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Kurzum - eine leckere und angenehme Empfehlung, wenn man gut bis sehr gut asiatisch speisen möchte.

Ich empfinde den Preis für das mehr als überschaubare Buffet als zu hoch, zumal es geschmacklich auch eher unterer Durchschnitt ist. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen.

Wir waren heute im Bonjour Saigon, um das Buffet zu testen. Das Buffet ist nicht riesig, aber wirklich die gesamte Auswahl ist super lecker und deswegen reicht die Auswahl vollkommen aus! Es gab auch mehrere vegetarische Gerichte. Es wird immer wieder frisch nachgelegt und man muss nicht lange warten, wenn gerade etwas leer ist. Die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich ausgesprochen nett und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Ambiente könnte man bei Zeiten bestimmt etwas aufpeppen.

Sehr freundlicher Service. Wir haben à la carte gegessen, es war sehr lecker und reichlich! Übrig gebliebene Füllung der Reisrollen (Cuón zum Selbstrollen) wurde nicht nur einfach eingepackt, sondern gleich noch mal in weiteres Reispapier gerollt. Super freundlich und toller Service!

Man merkt halt das es eine Neueröffnung war und es hier und da noch Baustellen gibt. Der Raum der mir auch fertig erschien sah supi aus, und der Service war auch sehr freundlich, ich würde mir nur eine Kleidung für den Service wünschen die einheitlich wäre. Das Essen war sehr lecker und hatte eine sehr gute Qualität aber für etwas über 17€ an einem Samstag hätte ich mir doch noch etwas Auswahl gewünscht. Wie werden die Fortschritte weiter im Auge behalten und noch Mal hingehen und wünschen dem Team weiter alles gute und viel Erfolg

We love this restaurant! We happened to drive by in the afternoon. It’s in a small town but boy they have authentic Vietnamese and Chinese dishes! Sooo tasty! The restaurant is rather new and nicely decorated. And the toilets were so clean, and it reflects the attitude and quality of the owner and staff! Highly recommended!
