Tastefully decorated restaurant, not the usual Croatian giant plate, but elegantly presented, homemade ajvar for example. Very impressive boss. You definitely have to make a reservation!

Unfortunately, apart from the food, there is no good review to give. Even when the final drink was a cappuccino, only a normal cup of coffee crema was served instead of the cappuccino we ordered. When cold drinks were brought incorrectly, the staff, I think the manager of the house, argued about it! In any case, this is not customer friendliness!!! In any case, we won't be coming back! The service in some snack bars is better than in Croatia! But the fact that you are asked three times if you really want to pay by card and you really don't have any cash with you to pay with is the bottom of the barrel!!!

First of all, the positive, the food was really excellent. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Especially from the lady with the longer black hair. At first you are left standing stupidly at the entrance, even though you tell them that you have reserved a table, no reaction. Then you are assigned the table and told that you sit in the corner. Ok, said and done. Sitting in the corner then involves accepting a dog bowl filled with water on the window sill, which was later removed, but please, where is there any hygienic standard.....Noooo go!!!!!! Drinks were then ordered through a request from us. Draft beer is bottled beer and should be declared as such, especially with wheat. Absolute nonsense from the above-mentioned lady to discuss with the guests about a mistakenly wrong drink, unprofessionalism that cannot be surpassed. Tip for this, bring a new one and you're good...happy guest...happy restaurateur...that's how it should be, or is that no longer necessary for a house that's always well attended????? It's nice when you want to spend a cozy evening and in the middle of a 90th birthday with live entertainment from the guests with a microphone, you're absolutely carried away, whether you like it or not, very unfortunate solution. As we all know, the best comes at the end, we wanted to pay by card, then we were actually asked twice, really with a card? And if we didn't have cash with us? Now that was more than audacious. If you can do without guests, this is the best method. It's actually a shame what you have to put up with as a well-paying guest. Despite the good food, we won't be back!!!!!!!!!

Service was OK. Food had little taste, fries were cold and raw. And when staff simply take the salad that is next to the buffet and throw it back instead of throwing it away, then I've actually seen enough.

Wir waren am Samstag hier und kommen bestimmt nicht wieder. Das Essen meines Mannes war na ja... Meine Leber eine Katastrophe trocken und extrem von Sehnen durchzogen. Habe 90 Prozent des Tellers zurück gegeben und den vollen Preis bezahlt. Eine Tasse Kaffee kam als Entschuldigung. Volle Punktzahl für Nicole, sie war sehr freundlich und zugewandt! Eine echte Service-Perle .

This restaurant is ideally located right on the main street and you can't miss it. Staff very friendly, accommodating and you are served very quickly. There's something on the menu for everyone, as well as a nice salad buffet. The food is excellent, tasty and the price-performance ratio is right. My girlfriend and I were there today, November 1st, 2024, and ate some delicious steaks. However, the waiter, a tall young man with black hair, asked for more tips. We rounded up and tipped €3. But the waiter asked us why we wouldn't give €5 since there were still bills in our wallet and started discussing it with us. Food is delicious but service is not good at all. We actually wanted to celebrate our wedding there. But unfortunately you'll never see us there anymore. 2 stars just because of the food.

Today we had dinner with 8 people. Extremely tasty, served quickly, super fair prices and lovely service. The boss personally looks after the well-being of the guests. It is rarely found in this form anymore. Thank you for the great evening. Highly recommended!!!!

Sehr nettes und gemütliches Restaurant mit schöner Dekoration. Die Kellner waren sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Wir wurden immer schnell und nett bedient. das Essen war sehr lecker. Ich hatte eine vegetarische Platte, die auch wirklich super geschmeckt hat. Wir waren nach dem Freilichtmuseum spontan dort und können das Restaurant mit der freundlichen Familie empfehlen.

Wir (64 J. & 65 J.) waren zum ersten Mal in diesem "Lokal" und hatten am Samstag, 31.08.2024 einen Tisch für 18:30 h reserviert und waren pünktlich. Nach ca. 15 Min. sprachen wir einen Kellner an, wie es zumindest mit Getränken aussieht, da keiner zur Aufnahme einer Bestellung der Speisen kam. Ein Getränk war dann ausgegrunken - keiner fragte ob noch ein weiteres Getränk kommen solle. Nach einer ganzen Weile musste ich zur Theke gehen und fragte, ob man sein Getränk persönlich an der Theke bestellen muss um etwas zu trinken zu bekommen. Nach weit über einer Stunde bekamen wir endlich unsere bestellten Speisen. Als wir beide unser Fleisch anschnitten, war dieses auf beiden Tellern noch halb roh. Teller gingen zurück, Fleisch wurde nochmals gebraten und wurde nach einer Weile wieder zum Tisch zurück gebracht. Diverse Fleischsorten über Steak, Cevapcici, Frikadelle waren nun zu trocken gebraten, alles schmeckte gleich schlecht, und vor allem nach überhitztem und verbrauchten Öl. Zur verbalen Entschuldigung kam der Kellner und wollte uns zu einem lächerlichen heißem Getränk auf Kosten des Hauses einladen, was wir ablehnten. Wir hatten uns auf einen netten Abend und leckeres Essen gefreut. Gute kroatische Küche kennen wir anders. Ebenfalls schlechte Akustik/ zu laut im "Lokal". Nie wieder werden wir dieses "Lokal" betreten, aus unserer erlangten Erfahrung war jeder Euro zu viel ! Schade drum, leider eine negative Erfahrung reicher.

I was there for the first time today, August 18, 2024... Nice location with seats inside, on a covered terrace and in the beer garden. The service was so friendly and attentive, of the Rhenish cheerful nature, that you immediately felt at home. The menu is extensive, I chose the baked chicken schnitzel, but chose Djuvec rice with it. The food was super tasty, the portion was sufficient, and there was also a salad from the great salad buffet with delicious dressings. People also asked during the meal whether everything was OK, an absolute feel-good factor. At the end there was a free nightcap. Everything was really great, if I'm in the area again I'll be happy to come back. Thanks to the team, thumbs up and keep it up….

This restaurant cannot be beaten in terms of quality in every respect. The service is courteous, the ambience is designed with love and the food simply speaks for itself. For me the best restaurant in the area.

It was really delicious! It was very busy so we had a bit of a wait, but the food was very good. We often go out to eat, we have never had homemade chicken nuggets on the children's plate, everything here was freshly made. Excellent! Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back.

Visited the restaurant yesterday and all three were thrilled! The food was delicious, the service was very attentive and friendly, but not intrusive. The kitchen was open and seemed super clean. You can sit in very different rooms, inside, half outside and outside. Interesting decorated! We will definitely be back and can only recommend “Croatia”! We happened to be here today with 2 families after a trip. There was a children's menu with enough choice and large portions. The food for the adults was very good, good quality meat, well fried and large portions. The restaurant was great and the staff were very welcoming. Should If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back. The price range was also right

Das erste Bier kam wohl aus der Leitung, war muffig und schmeckt nicht, danach wurde es besser, Reklamation aber ohne murren akzeptiert. Essen war lecker, Gehacktes noch zu roh (Cevapcici ect.). Auf Probleme mit Unverträglichkeit wurde ehrlich geantwortet. Lokal sehr schön.

An attractively furnished restaurant with friendly service and a very large selection of dishes. The food is good, all main courses include a salad from the "buffet", which could be optimized. Normal drink selection. You can also sit in the winter garden or outside behind the house. A reservation is highly recommended as it is quite busy. There are some parking spaces in front of the house, but they are not enough. There is a large parking lot opposite, but it is private. It's good that this is pointed out at all entrances to avoid a penalty.

If you want to eat something and are on the B266 between Euskirchen and Schleiden, you can go there, the price/performance ratio is great 👌

A really great restaurant! Here you will still receive courteous service, you will eat in a beautifully designed restaurant and the food is very well portioned. A salad buffet, bread with dips and the classic Julischka on the house round off the visit. Compliments to the entire team! We always enjoy coming back.

On the way through we got stranded in “Croatia”. We called while we were on the road and reserved a table. We received a very friendly welcome and every now and then we had little nice conversations with the owner and the employees. Now to the most important thing: the food. It was excellent!!! Went there spontaneously and well, there are much better Croatian restaurants! The djuvec rice wasn't such a burner - it's much better in Croatia itself and in the Croatian restaurants we know! Yes there is Croatian wine but that's it! not even Croatian beer :( The meat was TOP, there's nothing to complain about but that's it! Ambience has nothing to do with Croatia, and the majority of the waitresses should take a course in friendliness! Short and sweet We prefer to stay with our Croatian tribe, even if it's a little more than an hour's drive there, but there is food like in Dalmatia and nothing else!

Very cozy restaurant with super friendly staff. As a vegetarian you can easily find something on the menu. The food comes incredibly quickly and is absolutely delicious. Price-performance is also completely right. We will definitely come more often. The dish in the photo is usually served with a baked potato. However, I was more in the mood for fries and was able to change the dish without any problems.

We visited this restaurant on my Saturday evening. Since the restaurant was almost fully booked, we didn't have to wait long for our drinks or our food. The dishes were excellent and very attractively prepared. The rump steak was of excellent quality. The service staff did not transfer their stress to us guests. Super friendly and no question was too much for them. The rooms are lovingly and comfortably furnished and decorated. We are absolutely convinced of this location and will be happy to come here again. You're welcome to keep it up!
