A real highlight in Überlingen – great food & warm service! At Bonate Café Restaurant, you immediately feel welcome – the staff is incredibly warm and friendly. ❤️ The value for money is excellent, and you can tell that the food is cooked with love. We had, among other things, perfectly grilled chicken skewers – juicy and not at all dry – as well as tavuk sac, which tasted simply fantastic with the rice. The börek were also super delicious, and the side salad was fresh and perfectly balanced. 🥗🍗 We particularly loved the meze plate with various creams like cacık, hummus, and the like – accompanied by the wonderfully fluffy, warm flatbread, simply delicious! As a little surprise, they even gave us baklava on the house at the end – a very nice gesture! 🍰 An all-around successful experience – everything just works here. Highly recommended! 👌

Delicious food, but unfortunately, card payments aren't possible. Apparently, the machine has been broken for two days. It would be appropriate to inform customers about this in advance. I found the staff's comment, "What, you're coming to a country without cash?" inappropriate.

During my rehab in Überlingen, I ate at Bona'te four times. No matter what I ate there, everything was incredibly delicious. The appetizer plate – a flavor explosion! Kofte, pizza, burgers, eggplant, fries, all of the highest quality, and the entire staff was always super friendly. Highly recommended!

A warmly run family business where you can feel the love and passion that goes into it from the very first moment. The service team is super friendly and their charming manner has made my visit special every time. The dishes are creative, fresh, and simply delicious – especially the pide from the wood-fired oven is a real insider tip. It'll make your mouth water!! I've even brought friends and acquaintances along – everyone was happy and delighted. Bona'te is now more than just a restaurant for me. Thank you for so many wonderful moments 💛

They lured us into the restaurant with fake offers: €7 for each pizza. However, the pizzas were completely standard prices. When we pointed this out to the staff, they said the sign only said one ingredient. They became extremely unfriendly and unpleasant. They claimed I had misread it (see photo), etc. I'll definitely never go there again.

We've been coming to Überlingen for several years and only discovered it today. The food here is excellent, delicious, and relatively inexpensive. We'll definitely stop by again during our stay.

We stumbled upon it quite by chance and just wanted a bite to eat. So we opted for a variety of appetizers and salads, each served with freshly prepared flatbread. Everything was absolutely delicious. The cold coffees offered afterward were a real treat in the heat.

Incredibly delicious food. The three of us dined together, and we all tried and shared different dishes. Without exception, all the dishes were excellent. The value for money was right. The taste was authentic. A definite recommendation.

I was recently at "bonate" in Überlingen, and I have to say, I was really surprised by how good the Turkish food is there. I wouldn't have expected it in the Lake Constance area! The dishes were delicious and fresh, and the atmosphere was also really pleasant. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to try something different. It's truly a little highlight in Überlingen!

The ingredients list and some prices were incorrectly stated - this is misleading and unacceptable. The cheeseburger contained the specified ingredients such as lettuce, tomatoes and cheddar cheese, but there were also cucumbers, cucumber water and cucumber sauce, which were not mentioned at all in the description. The reaction to the customer's comment was particularly outrageous: Instead of responding to the legitimate criticism, the customer was informed that the cheeseburger had been prepared this way "for 30 years." Even worse: the customer was blamed - he supposedly had to say that he didn't want cucumbers. This is completely illogical and unreasonable, because how is a customer supposed to unsubscribe from something that is not even listed in the list of ingredients? Such a disrespectful and dismissive approach to feedback is unacceptable and shows little understanding of customer service.

It was our first time eating here and we were completely satisfied! The service was very attentive and friendly. The starters, the meatballs, schnitzels and the fries: everything was incredibly tasty and fresh! Absolute recommendation!

We spontaneously wanted to eat something small and ended up here... The pide was about 60cm in total. And as usual, I didn't manage it. Side dishes absolutely well dressed... a little more cucumber and tomato would be nice. The homemade lemonade was also great and the vegetarian vegetable pan with Turkish rice 🍚 was also a good size... all in all a nice visit and the way to the lake is not far

Very nice atmosphere and very loving staff

I came hungry, I left happy - and with the firm conviction that I was secretly adopted here. The food was so good that I briefly considered moving into the kitchen, and in the end even dessert was waiting for me, not the other way around. If this restaurant were a person, I would marry it in a heartbeat. I'll definitely come back and I'll be there every day anyway.

Severe food poisoning with chills and fever vomiting and headache was actually eaten there 3 times this time unfortunately the meat was bad 🙅‍♀️

There is so much emphasis here on perfect service, friendliness and quality! Super delicious food, unfortunately it was not possible to order something else instead of the side salad, of course with an additional charge. That's why I paid in full for the entire starter and main course, excluding the salad. It's a shame that no individual solution is possible here. Otherwise everything was great.

I can't say anything about the food or the ambience, but I had an unpleasant situation. My son (4 years old) urgently needed to go to the toilet and I went into the restaurant and politely asked the waiter if I could go to the toilet with my little son. "No! It does not work! Only for €1!” So I had to search the depths of my backpack for €1 before we were allowed in. A pity! Sometimes it could be so simple...

ATTENTION RIP-OFF! The food was cold, extremely greasy and burnt in places. Nothing tasted fresh - not even the salad. The prices are completely overpriced. At the end the waiter didn't want to give us the receipt because he had quoted the wrong prices and we were only supposed to pay in cash. We were just disappointed with this place!

A portion of fries with mayo was ordered. The quantity of fries was ok. The amount of mayo was enough for half the fries. Some of the fries didn't taste quite cooked on the inside. It would have tasted better if it had been more crispy. But it was good that the fries didn't taste like old fat. What was shocking, however, was the price. Fries with mayo 5€. Price-performance ratio is overpriced. I won't eat there again, even if it was enough to tide me over.

We were in this restaurant with 9 people. Had a nice young man to serve us. As a starter we shared two starter plates, lots of different dips and spreads, very tasty. You got a side salad, nothing special, it was okay. I personally had the chicken schnitzel in curry sauce with rice and the homemade lemonade, highly recommended. The only thing that really bothered us all about the whole visit was the cold. Since the automatic door constantly opens or is left open, it cools down quickly and is uncomfortable. Otherwise, we also liked the atmosphere and would like to come back again.

Unfortunately, four adults and five children were disappointed. So we had lots of different dishes. The side dishes of salads and grilled vegetables were perfect and the fries were ok. Unfortunately, the rest did not live up to expectations. The burger patties tasted like industrial patties. Some of the shredded beef from the pan was not cooked through. The ground beef meatballs from the grill were riddled with cartilage. The chicken skewers were relatively dry. Prices were normal, on average just under €20 per person (excluding alcoholic drinks)
