It's more of a snack bar. The fries are good, the frikandel is okay, and the door is wide open when it's 10 degrees outside, so you can only sit there in a jacket.

The best fries for miles around! The portions are generous, the fries are always fresh and crispy – just the way you want them. The homemade sauces are a real highlight; you can tell they're made with love. The currywurst is also super delicious and perfectly seasoned. The staff is friendly, quick, and always in a good mood. I was passing through and craving fries. It's really difficult to find good fries these days. Therefore, I approach every snack bar with reservations. But here, I immediately had a good feeling, and I wasn't disappointed. A friendly welcome, the food was prepared with routine and without rush, and the result was perfect. I was there with my boyfriend at the reopening, and because we liked it so much, we're now regulars. I really recommend the shop, especially the owner and the employees are super nice, and you can tell they enjoy their work there. The service is truly fantastic, with hardly any waiting time. Everything is freshly prepared and your wishes are catered to, so you have everything your heart desires in one place. If I can recommend anything, it's definitely the Garlic Parmesan and Currywurst Fries with Mayo (CPM).

I went to Bon Frites for the first time today and was absolutely thrilled! There's a huge selection, and the fries are truly next-level, especially the Amsterdam Special and the garlic fries with parmesan were insanely delicious. The portions are really large, so you'll definitely be full! The interior is also clean and modern, and the service was fast and friendly. All in all, a top-notch place—I'll definitely be back!

Fries come first here - but the quality is not really convincing. Some of our fries weren't cooked through. French fries special with Frikandel for €8.90 were very manageable in terms of the portion. A 0.33 liter bottle of Sion Kölsch costs just €3.50. With 4 people for fries and 1 beer per person you shelled out €50...

I'm from Cologne and thought it would be more of a "concert tourist booth" but I was pleasantly surprised, a very official and tasty portion of currywurst fries. The guys at the counter were very friendly and you felt like you were being served nicely. Of course the ambience still needs some improvement, but the food before the concert is top notch!

Important to mention: Due to a lack of staff, the store is currently only open on event days at the Lanxess Arena (as of August 17, 2024). Fries are really tasty and the price is also right (EUR 4.80 for normal fries, but without sauces). However, I think 1.20 EUR for some ketchup and mayo is a bit too much...

Opening hours wrong here on Google. No times can be found elsewhere, e.g. Insta is inactive. If you rely on it... the shop is no longer open late, contrary to what it says!

I can 100% confirm the review of the previous speaker "v s" because I had exactly the same experience last Friday. My fries were also extremely dry, the curry sauce was totally runny and far too little and I also gave the staff feedback on this. When I responded, I received the unfriendly answer: “Well, tastes are different.” Aside from the fact that this feedback is impossible, I can't imagine anyone would have enjoyed these fries. At a hefty price of 5.90 for a normal fries with curry sauce, I expect much better quality. This shop absolutely doesn't deserve to be called "Bon Frites". It's better to go to the kebab shop opposite, where the fries are cheaper and much tastier!

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the quality of the fries and the service staff's response to my feedback. The fries I ordered were very dry, the sauce was too runny and not enough. When I gave my feedback on site, I was treated unfriendly by the waitress, which made me feel like I wasn't being taken seriously. Next time I'd rather go to the subway

Fries are delicious, but unfortunately my Frikandel Special tasted very strongly of fish and was therefore inedible. When I pointed out at the checkout that this might be because the fat in the deep fryer had taken on the fish flavor and continued to give it off, all I got was the statement "we always do it that way". Not very helpful. In addition, it is a bit more expensive in terms of price.

11€ for 2 portions of fries with mayo is a really steep price, which I might even be willing to pay if it was well prepared or at least friendly service was offered. Unfortunately, neither was the case here. Employees seem listless and the fries were greasy. The mayo for a whopping 70 cents (!) was a complete disgrace. Seats are in short supply and customer toilets don't even exist.

Tried it out but bro if fries is your name and the only thing you do, then it has to work. They were rather lower middle range, not really well done and the sauces etc were uncreative… definitely way too expensive for the price, I paid over €8 for them. I was the only customer on a Thursday shortly before 8 and he couldn't manage to make me good fries for €8.90?!? Samma, what was going on, I wanted to exchange it again but then had to take my train...

The first time there, unfortunately not my cup of tea...the fries were soggy and not crispy, that had less to do with Holland. The best thing about the currywurst was the sauce, it was really tasty. The wooden forks weren't the right thing either, so I ate the fries with my fingers. Staff was friendly, but seemed a bit stressed as the number of customers increased. Conclusion for me: For the price (€8.60) - performance (food, see above) ratio, I will no longer eat here.

Ich frittiere selber viel zu Hause, experimentiere viel mit verschiedenen Rezepten und so weitere. Die Pommes hier waren wirklich sehr, sehr gut. Außen crunchy, innen cremig, aber sehr heiß. Genau richtig gesalzen. Die Mayo war sehr gut. Ich habe selten besser Pommes gegessen, ich schwör. Absolut empfehlenswert, schade, dass ich so weit weg wohne!

Preis/Leistung gut. Service sehr gut. Essen auf die schnelle, sehr gut.

gestern war mein dritter versuch diese woche, zeitlich immer so zwischen 19 und 21uhr, und jedesmal war der laden zu. kein hinweis in der tür, keine geänderten öffnungszeiten irgendwo eingetragen. letztes update auf insta is 1,5jahre her... was soll das? nachtrag: Dienstag,18.07. 19:45... laden geschlossen... kein sichtbarer hinweis auf irgendwas... 😑

Currywurst mit Pommes, lecker aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Der Service war sehr gut und total professionell. Preis/Leistung für die Örtlichkeit ok. Gute Lage mit praktischen Sitzmöbeln davor.

4.80€ für überhaupt nicht besondere Fritten [fettig] (Sauce kostet noch extra). Es gibt nicht einmal eine scharfe Sauce zur Auswahl. Völlig überteuert!

We zijn hier gaan eten voordat we naar het Sabaton concert in de Lanxess-arena gingen. Mooie en zeer goed / netjes verzorgde friture. De frieten waren heel erg lekker en het personeel zeer vriendelijk. De prijzen waren ook goed en persoonlijk is de friet met Currywurst een echte aanrader. 😎👍.

Zu teuer und Pommes sind nicht wirklich gut.

Die Pommes schmecken gut, sind aber für den Preis nichts besonderes. Die Verkäuferin war sehr unfreundlich und hatte überhaupt keine Lust, auf ihre Arbeit. Sie meckerte ältere Gäste an, dass diese zu lange brauchen, verdrehte die Augen und legte das Wechselgeld mit einer sehr unfreundlichen Art und Weise auf den Tresen.

Sehr leckere Pommes mit reichlich Soße. Gerne wieder ! Allerdings sind die Preise etwas hoch…

Patatine fritte di mezzanotte post concerto assolutamente ottime! Il locale è aperto sino a tarda ora e propone diversi tipi di accompagnamento per le patatine, dalla maionese al guacamole.

"maitre des frites" ist ganz gewiss kein stinkendes Eigenlob, sondern - ganz klar - eine Tatsachenfeststellung. Fritten Special oder mit pulled chicken sind unsere Favoriten.

Hatte Fritten mit Currywurst. War ganz ok. Nix herausragendes,aber auch nicht schlecht. Preislich ziemlich hoch, 8,60 Euro für ne Portion mit Majo. Pepsi 2,90 Euro on Top.

2 Portionen Pommes mit Sauce für 9,60€, finde ich einen stolzen Preis, den ich gerne für richtig gute Pommes zahle. Allerdings waren unsere fettgetränkt und leicht bitter, was ich mir nur durch zu geringe Hitze des Fettes erklären kann. Durch eine Veranstaltung in der Arena war sehr viel los, vielleicht lag es da ran.
