Bollywood Indian Restaurant in Bonn

How friendly can you be? Answer: Bollywood! Incredibly friendly service! And fantastic food! We've been to (almost) every Indian restaurant, but for some time now we've only been going to Bollywood. A great selection of dishes and everything we've had so far has been absolutely delicious. The atmosphere isn't quite as cozy, unfortunately, but we still always feel comfortable there.

This was our first time here and we were thrilled. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Don't judge a book by its cover. This adage certainly holds true in this case. The unassuming Indian restaurant is an absolute gem for lovers of North or South Indian cuisine. The four of us were there and completely delighted. We'd love to come back. We'd love to!

Best Indian delivery food in Bonn

We've been there four times now, always for dinner. The service is very friendly and attentive, and the server comes to the table several times during the meal to ask if everything is alright. The food always arrives piping hot. As far as the food is concerned, it's just as good as the service. We only recently discovered our love for Indian food and have eaten at various other Indian restaurants, but nothing compares to Bollywood in terms of taste! We highly recommend it!

It's so incredibly delicious, I love ordering here and trying my way through the menu, everything is so delicious and the prices are unbelievably great.

I really enjoyed my meal at Bollywood. The soup was divine, simply fantastic. The main course was also very good. The menu is quite extensive, making it hard to choose. I didn't try dessert, but the coffee was good. The service was friendly. There was parking right outside. The prices were reasonable. I can imagine going there again.

Great Indian food, delivered quickly! We've ordered from here a few times and it's always been delicious. You can specify your desired spice level so you don't burn your mouth. The selection is really good, and everyone should find something they like. Prices are absolutely reasonable. We haven't eaten in yet.

We've ordered several times now and have also eaten there twice. The food has always been of outstanding quality. Since we're not from India ourselves, we can't comment on the authenticity, but everything is homemade and always arrived piping hot. We've certainly tried everything on the menu: We were particularly impressed by the variety of breads and the recipes that are less common in German-speaking countries. A little tip: The Indian spiciness (if you can handle it) gives the dishes a unique flavor. Service: Both when dining in and receiving delivery, we've only ever encountered incredibly friendly people. This is a particularly welcome exception when ordering delivery. We would highly recommend Bollywood! A truly fantastic restaurant 👍

A culinary gem hidden away in a would-be strip mall in an otherwise mostly residential area, boasting delicious food with excellent service in a classy atmosphere. Very highly recommended! The mango lassi is super fresh and tastes homemade. The menu is extensive with lots of veggie and meat options, as well as an array of different Indian breads.

As soon as you enter your will be greeted with smiles, and a warm welcome. I was served by Mrs. Harpreet Kaur who did a good job at attending me. I was craving some butter chicken and she helped me with a switch of rice with naan. The food was hot and delicious and adding the Indische Scharfe made it even better, although it was quite spicy. I would recommend this place, as it is very clean and doesn't have very loud music. The washroom was squeaky clean and smelled very good. They also have some Indian liquor which brings back memories.

I was a frequent guest there. But that's over now. When some butter chicken was left over, I asked for it to be packed up. I gave a generous tip and asked for some more rice. The answer: That's not possible! Bottom line: This was my last visit.

We had Indian food here for the first time this afternoon, after ordering a few times before. The dishes were superbly seasoned, with the Madras lamb being a particular highlight. The service was very friendly and attentive, which made us feel completely at home. Highly recommended!

I am Indian and ordered food from them, people are nice but food is not authentic Indian. They just use same sweet cream gravy for all dishes. I was disappointed. After ordering from them. I don't know how they have 4.8 rating here. With Indian food cravings, I would not order from here 😅.

I can fully recommend this restaurant. We always enjoy coming here. There are a lot of places and you should reserve on the weekend. It is not necessary on weekdays. The naan bread, the mango chutney and the chicken dishes are our highlights. Every time we want to try something different; but still stick with the tried and tested because it is so delicious. My personal highlight is the mango chicken. The staff is very attentive and courteous and the price-performance ratio is more than fair for the quality.

No discussion! Best Indian in Bonn! But when it comes to delivery, we need to talk again Bollywood bosses. Why doesn't the tip via PayPal reach the delivery driver? This is really incredibly unfair and really punishes the wrong people. There wasn't even a note about it on the invoice! I would be very happy about an explanation... and the driver about his tip.

The food was absolutely authentic and tasted exactly how it is supposed to taste. Above that, the service was excellent (Thank you Manpreet Kaur ji). Would definitely come again and highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Indian food. PS: we had Chole Bhature and Masala Dosa with Masala Chai.

After testing it several times, we still like going there. The papadam is delicious, the sauces are delicious and the dishes are simply delicious. Nice staff, it's best to reserve a table.

From the outside it appears to have once been a pub or inn. From the inside it's nicely arranged in an Indian style. Very courteous and friendly service. All I can say about the food is: excellent nd. We had three different starters and three different main courses. All three were extremely seasoned. The restaurant is handicapped accessible up to one level and there are parking spaces directly in front of the house. Is very well attended. Conclusion, my recommendation.

This is the best Indian food I’ve had in Bonn! The flavors are truly authentic, and the portion sizes are generous. The Chicken Curry and Lamb Madras are a must-try. The restaurant has a pleasant ambience, adding to the overall dining experience. Additionally, there’s convenient parking with two charging stations right outside, making it ideal for those arriving by car. The owner is incredibly hospitable, further enhancing the experience. Highly recommended!

Authentic Indian cuisine and first-class service! I recently went to this restaurant and tried the chicken masala – and what can I say? It was simply outstanding! I have never eaten such a good curry. The spices were perfectly balanced, the chicken was buttery tender, and the sauce had just the right amount of heat. The service was also great! The staff was attentive and friendly, and the owner himself is extremely personable and polite. You really feel welcome and well looked after here. If you want to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine in a warm atmosphere, this is the right place for you. I'll definitely be back!

I had Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. The butter chicken, a rather mild curry version, was very spicy. I'm used to spicy food, but when I order butter chicken, I don't expect that. It was still delicious, so we will come back.

Anyone who loves Indian food is in good hands here: a large selection of dishes, including less well-known dishes such as those from South Indian cuisine, often with a choice of whether they are spicy or less spicy. Attentive service, normal prices and a nice atmosphere. What more could you want?

Very very tasty and authentic Indian food. For many dishes it is mandatory to choose a level of spiciness and the 'German' level of spiciness was just right for us. Very tasty Indian dishes, we had three different ones and they were all delicious in their own way. Fast service and we didn't have to wait long for the food either. It was a bit cold at the window, but that's all we can complain about.

Top food and really friendly service

Four of us were here on Saturday evening and ate here. It was the first time we ate Indian food. All the people who served us were super nice and often asked us if everything was okay. The food was very tasty and we were able to get some very tasty insights into Indian cuisine, including a long list of authentic vegetarian Indian dishes. The desserts were also very tasty and I would love to come back if I/we are in the area again!

The best Indian restaurant!!! Soooo delicious food and super friendly & present staff. We've been there 3 times now and honestly loved it each time. I can highly recommend the (garlic) naan bread with dip mix as a starter, and butter chicken/chicken tikka masala as a main course! As a dessert or in between a mango lassi, perfect! And the prices are really great too 👍🏻 I have already recommended it to friends and family, we will definitely eat there very often

Nice and clean Indian restaurant. We went there for two lunches the week before Christmas without a reservation. We were greeted warmly and were able to choose a table. The cuisine is typically Indian with all the classics but also some dishes that are not available everywhere. The food was delivered quickly, was fresh and our special requests were taken into account. Everything was very tasty and the waiter kept asking if everything was okay. The atmosphere is typically Indian - colorful, flashy, kitschy. But that's how it should be. You can sit well inside, and in summer there are probably places outside too. There are parking spaces with parking discs right in front of the door. All in all, a successful lunch - we'll be back

Review for the Indian restaurant We recently visited this Indian restaurant and absolutely loved it! Of particular note was the Chicken Tikka Masala which was simply fantastic. The sauce was perfectly seasoned – creamy, aromatic and with a pleasant balance of spice and mildness. The chicken was tender and cooked to perfection. The service was also excellent: friendly, attentive and quick. The ambience of the restaurant invites you to feel good, with authentic decorations and a cozy atmosphere. If you love Indian cuisine or just want to try something new, this is the right place for you. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant! 5 out of 5 stars.

Surprisingly good food with authentic taste. Their dal makhni & chicken gravy is very creamy & smooth. They take some time to prepare as they make it fresh. The ambience is also good with ample indoor & outdoor seating. It's quite close to the highway, so it's very convenient to drop by here on our trip.
