I recently had a very disappointing experience with Bollywood Curry. After consuming food from their restaurant, both I and my son became seriously ill with food poisoning. We were unable to attend work for two days due to the severity of our symptoms. Despite speaking with a staff member who advised requesting a refund, the situation has caused significant distress. I hope the restaurant takes immediate steps to ensure such incidents do not happen again.

We used to order here with pleasure, but not anymore since today. I had to throw up several times after eating butter chicken. :(

DO NOT EAT HERE. The restaurant itself was a mess. The food was absolutely awful, no flavor other than freezer burn taste. And within an hour you'll be puking your guts up. Save yourself the sickness and run far far far away.

This restaurant isn't really worth a single star. I wanted to reserve a table for the weekend, but the man on the phone said it wasn't necessary. When we got there, the man became very rude and cursed at the counter. He practically threw us out. He said the ordering wasn't fast enough for him and told us he didn't have time for customers in the shop, and he was just upset about the coupon in the Schlemmerblock. That's no way to treat customers (even if you're having a bad day). I can't recommend it. I wouldn't even order from there via Lieferando.

Hello, I ordered yesterday and found the food, especially the pizza, super good. Delivery time was a bit critical but you can look away. 5 stars, always happy to order again.

I'd love to give zero stars, but unfortunately you have to give one to write a review. We ordered four pizzas and one fries with two drinks. Both drinks never arrived, and every pizza tasted weird. My brother ordered without onions, and there were even whole slices on the pizza. The vegetables on every pizza didn't look very appetizing. Even my margarita didn't taste normal, and the fries could have been better. But to top it all off, when the food arrived (which cost almost €60), the driver wanted another €2 extra for something he called cocktail sauce, because they didn't have any? It could have been anything, but not cocktail sauce! I wish I could post pictures so you could see this outrage.

We wanted to pre-order food for pickup here. Unfortunately, the employee was very unfriendly. (February 2024)

We were there today with the "Schlemmerblock"... The staff was friendly, we also liked the food, the ambience 🤔 was okay...

We called there at 11:20 p.m. and asked whether delivery was still possible. We were assured that they were still delivering. We waited more than 2 hours until we ate something else. Of course, no one could be reached by phone. In the end the food didn't come. You could have at least called.

We were there for dinner on Boxing Day (7 people in total) and didn't know what to expect. (None of us are from Geilenkirchen) We received a friendly welcome and the service was also top notch. The fact that we were the only guests didn't bother us at all. The food was simply delicious, we were allowed to have rice as often as we wanted. The prices were really reasonable. Unfortunately there is a deduction for the ambience as the toilets urgently need to be renovated. Nevertheless, it wasn't the last time we were there.

Delivers hot food even late at night. The food looks delicious and tastes good too. The delivery person was polite and accommodating. We would be happy to order again.

We ordered via Lieferando over an hour before closing time and delivery should take about 45 minutes. We patiently waited until 30 minutes past the stated time before trying to call the restaurant to inquire: it rang twice, followed by electronic beeping. They probably just closed without supplying us. But the money was still diligently withdrawn! just stay away!

Ich kann jedem trotz der vielen nicht so guten Bewertungen nur raten, sich ein eigenes Bild zu machen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder, das indische Essen ist sehr lecker zu fairen Preisen, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und es gibt hausgemachten Lassi, der frisch zubereitet wird.

Gläser hätte man vorher spülen können. Tisch hätte man vorher abwischen können. Aber naja, wollen wir mal nicht so ein. Das essen war gut und lecker. Keine Magen Darm Problem wie hier vorher berichtet wurden. Aber es kam schon so rüber als ob hier nicht häufig Gäste vie Ort essen. Der Mitarbeiter war sehr nett und bemüht. Sollten die ersten beiden Kritikpunkte behoben werden, was jetzt nicht schwierig sein sollte, würde ich wieder kommen.

Die Mangosuppe schmeckt großartig. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Wir sind zufällig dran vorbei gelaufen und der Geruch hat uns reingelockt! Wir haben uns kurz vorher jedoch die Bewertungen angesehen und uns entschieden es zu testen. Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt und bedient. Bestellt haben wir diverse Vorspeisen, Naan mit Joghurt sauce und Hauptspeisen. Ich muss sagen ALLES aber auch wirklich ALLES hat dermaßen gut geschmeckt! Es war geschmackvoll, würzig, definitiv keine Enttäuschung.

What a hidden gem👍🏽😁. Very tasty food, nice people. If you look for glamour, this is not the place. But if you really like tasty good food, here you find it 😜. Portions are very big. I usually order in similar restaurants 2 portions to get full. Here the one was enough. I try the tikka and Briyani rice, together with garlic naan bread... the food was great, but the naan... wow!!! One of the best i ever had. I live 50 kms away from the place but i will definitely come again. The tasty food is worth it. Please visit, they look kinda not so visited. For the good food they have, they should be fully booked... so ... this is a secret tip😜👍🏽

Food is tasteless, without typical indian spice flavors, sauce is runny, not creamy. Menu said casews but there were no inside, vegetarian dish was said spicy, but it was inedible sharp... Naan was inedible chewy, like stale. Also delivery would be 40-60 min, but it took over 90 min. Never again😑

Über 1:20h Wartezeit nach Bestellung an einem Montag - ab Dienstag lagen wir beide mit Magen-Darm flach. Deshalb Vorsicht bei diesem Restaurant! ABSOLUT NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN

Visited as it's the only Choice for an Indian vegetarian restaurant in Geilenkirchen. The chef made a quick response on Hindi and was served the food which was Hot. The vegetarian gravy was good. But the Nan they served is something like a Pizza base, so hard and thick which we never expected.

Das bestellte Essen war nicht wie gewohnt. Die Sauce war wässrig und ungenießbar. Das Hähnchen war ebenfalls anders - keineswegs zart. Auf Anruf hat das Restaurant die Ware nicht zurücknehmen wollen. Der Kontakt am Telefon rechtfertigte, dass er einen anderen Lieferanten hätte und dieser das Essen so geliefert hat - er könne nichts machen und auch den Fahrer nicht auf der Autobahn wenden lassen, um das Essen zurückzunehmen – dieser war erst 5 Minuten zuvor hier und hat das Essen geliefert. Er war sehr unfreundlich und nicht bereit, sein misslungenes Essen zurückzunehmen. Neben dem ungenießbaren Essen auch noch das unmögliche Verhalten. Wir haben Fotos von der wässrigen Sauce gemacht und einen Fall bei PayPal eingereicht - schließlich kann die Plattform, über die wir bestellt haben (GoPizzaGo), auch nicht helfen. Unsere Erfahrung deckt sich scheinbar auch mit den zahlreichen (neuen) Bewertungen. Denn zuvor war die Ware gut und lecker, diesmal aber nicht. Wir werden hier nie wieder bestellen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, große Portionen. Allerdings wohl mehr auf Lieferung spezialisiert.

Wow, wow, wow! 5 Sterne reichen nicht. Ich hab heute bestellt und bin mehr als nur begeistert. Ich hab schon viele verschiedene MangoChickenCurrys gegessen und noch nie war ich so überzeugt wie heute. Das Essen war unfassbar lecker und kam heiß an. Auch der Mango Shake war unfassbar gut. Zudem stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.Gerne kommen wir bald vor Ort essen. TOP!!!!😁

Lekker gegeten! Mango kip was echt heeeeeerlijk! Ook de andere gerechten waren lekker.

Qualtät und Menge hat nachgelassen. Schade ! Authentisch scharf bestellt, kam aber nicht so an. War definitiv mal besser ! Fraglich ob man nicht besser zur Konkurrenz ausweicht. Samosas und Pakoras waren nicht mehr warm. Für die erbrachte Qualität zu teuer.

Hat uns spät abends nach der Arbeit vor dem "Hungertod" bewahrt und auch ins Industriegebiet geliefert. Die fehlende Klingel wurde durch eine Handynummer ersetzt. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Danke! :)

Zu allererst muss ich sagen, der Mitarbeiter mit dem ich telefoniert habe, war sehr freundlich, die Lieferung sogar schneller da als angegeben und die Verpackung fanden wir ebenfalls sehr gut. Nun zum Essen: Wir haben zwei Entengerichte für jeweils 14 Euro bestellt. Die Saucen hätten ruhig würziger sein können, waren etwas laff. Okay nicht so schlimm. Allerdings habe ich ehrlich gesagt, noch nie Fleisch gegessen, was qualitativ so schlecht war. Das Entenfleisch war zäh, knorpelig und/oder inkl. dickem Fettschwabbel. Wir haben es raus gepult und ausschließlich Reis mit Sauce gegessen. Ich erwarte für 14 Euro pro Gericht schon ein wenig mehr als sowas. So nett die Mitarbeiter auch sind, nochmal werde ich dort nicht bestellen.

Best Indian food around. I've been ordering from here over the past year and am always happy. The lamb vindaloo is great - and they can kick up the spice if you ask. Highly recommended.

As a ex pat living in Germany it has always been a struggle to find a decent Curry House. I have tried plenty over the years and at best they have been mediocre. Luckily when Bollywood curry opened I decided to try it as well. How surprised I was and not just the super prices but a amazing selection of authentic India food (they have a top selection of all the things you would expect to see, and more). Have now used the takeaway service many times due to the current situation and even though I live quite a way away, they deliver in a decent time and always with a smile. The rest of the family are all fans now and I can only recommend this Restaurant to any one who is either a fan of Indian food or wants to try something exotic and tasty. By the way my favourite is the Lamb Tikka spicy with a Garlic Naan.

Das Essen ist absolut top! Super Qualität, absolut lecker und nicht teuer, also die perfekte Mischung. Da nicht so viele Tische im Restaurant sind, bestellt man am Besten vor. Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir werden ganz sicher noch öfter dort essen gehen!

Ich hab mir das essen in Holland besorgen lassen ! Das ist 20 kilometer von restaurant entfernt. Verabredet war 18.00 uhr und 17.59 klingelte es : das essen war arriviert. Das essen war gut warm. Alles war frisch gemacht und es schmeckte besonders gut.

As an Indian person I was happy to finally find good Indian food in Germany. I love that they have 3 types of samosas on the menu. My personal favourite was the palak paneer samosas but my carnivore friends liked the keema samosas more. We also had a round of Kingfisher beer. The curries were flavourful and the portions were generous. And I'm always a fan of a restaurant that offers free rice. It's been so long since I've eaten jalfrezi and vindaloo. They will make it extra spicy... but you have to ask. We tried a few different types of naan as well. My favourite was the garlic although my friends liked the cheese and paneer ones more. They also had duck biryani on the menu which I've never seen before. We didn't try it because we'd already ordered so much. Good food and friendly service. I mentioned to the server that I missed pav bhaji and he seemed willing to consider adding it to the menu.
