BOLERO‘s in Regensburg

Food good. Service attentive and quick. The tables for two are a bit too small for a tapas bar. We had to move the table back and forth a few times to get out of the corner. All in all we were satisfied and full.

We were very thrilled to find a tapas restaurant in Regensburg! The staff was very helpful and friendly from the moment we called to make a reservation to the point we left. The tapas were good but not amazing, the drinks were fine and the location looks very nice and chic. I strongly recommend this tapas restaurant!

Super tasty tapas in a relaxed atmosphere

The food was excellent!!! Everything was tasty and served in a good portion. The price was also reasonable (not that cheap). The staff was kind and friendly. They served us quit fast, which was really good. The place was not that spacy, kinda small. You'll need a reservation. The atmosphere is also good.

Service and ambience were top. The paella was completely tasteless and a complete disgrace. That was an imposition. 0.5mm high rice…. Sorry. But that's not paella!!!!

Can't quite understand the overall rating of 4.3. Ambiance and food mediocre, service tried hard.

Went here with 2 friends, we weren't that impressed. First of all, they forgot to bring us the bread, we had to ask several times and then it only came when we were already half finished. The aioli was very disappointing, it only tasted like mayo, all 3 of us agreed, we were then told that the garlic had apparently been forgotten (?). At the end they brought a new one to try, which still tasted totally like mayo and then garlic powder would have been added. We also ordered a lava cake which, according to the menu, was supposed to contain vanilla ice cream, fresh fruit and mango sauce. A lava cake came with strawberry ice cream instead of vanilla ice cream and it tasted like Fürst Pückler ice cream and there was no fruit or sauce with it. The core was also not liquid like Lava Cake should be. Had the dessert returned and canceled. It's a shame for the prices you expect a little more.

Good tapas with a good selection and nice ambience.

We were there with a large group and the food was really tasty. Unfortunately, our evening was marred by the extremely rude service from the dark-haired waitress. She forgot orders several times and seemed annoyed and unaccommodating when she served us. The other two waitresses were much more accommodating. At the end of the evening there was a difference in drinks when the bill was split. When we asked, the waitress reacted irritably and complained about what she thought was too little of a tip. With such service, tipping is not something we take for granted. It's a shame, the 10 of us and our friends won't be able to see the restaurant again if the service remains the same.

I often visit Regensburg with my big sister. Our absolute final highlight is the visit to Bolero’s. It's especially great when Lisa and Isabella serve us. They are quick, very nice and always advise us how we can best try everything without having to order the entire menu. Kudos to the two girls.

Had dinner at Bolero's yesterday. The backyard is idyllic and very pleasant for dining. The service at the beginning was great. The tapas were to die for; delicious. The whole thing was marred by the difficulty in ordering after the food had been delivered. We tried several times to get the waitress' attention to order more bread, food and drinks. That took an extremely long time. Nobody came by to ask if anything else was needed. If that had worked it would have been a great evening

Service and well-being of the guests is a disgrace! We were sitting outside under an awning when it started to rain. Then a waiter came, opened the awning so that all the guests got wet and left without a word. After the food was wet you were allowed to bring it in yourself, which took so long that everything was wet. Most of the orders were delivered incorrectly or never arrived at all. It's also very uncomfortable to sit inside and it's so loud that you can't understand your own words because it's far too narrow and the acoustics are simply bad. The furniture is probably from the Stone Age because the door handle to the toilet simply fell off when in use, which made going to the toilet difficult. Never go back here again!

Fantastically beautiful evening in the backyard, especially excellent and attentive service. We had various dishes from the menu and were more than thrilled, excellent cuisine, kudos to the chef. We'll be back soon 😃

Service was very friendly and tried hard - the food unfortunately tasted neutral and was almost unseasoned. Pulpo has a consistency like rubber, Albondigas probably convenience, bread hard. It's a shame because the menu reads very well

I'm really sorry, but as a Spanish woman I have to say that the food wasn't good and the prices are too high. Service was okay but not even the tortilla de patatas was tasty.

We got tapas for 15 people to take home and everyone was very excited. On the one hand, the boss was competent to say what fits well and how much we should take. Then everything was ready at the agreed time and the food arrived still warm. And then it was just delicious. Price-performance convinced me completely.

Very tasty food, we have been there several times and it was always delicious. Only the tables are actually quite small and a bit close together... I would recommend going at a "non-peak hour" so that you have peace and quiet and you don't hear all the neighbors' conversations.

We felt good. Even though we were seated outside and no one else was sitting outside, we received the menu immediately. The lady at the service was very friendly. Unfortunately the Ensalada de Mariscos was sold out. When ordering, a dish was accidentally mixed up, so the pimientos didn't arrive until later. Overall it was tasty and absolutely okay in terms of price. Something is missing for five stars. The menu offers the usual dishes, the food is as you would expect, but there is now no incentive to go to this particular restaurant. Maybe a daily menu with one or two bolder recommendations for the day would be an idea? Nevertheless: Overall, we had a nice evening with delicious tapas.

We were in the restaurant as a group with colleagues and surprisingly tapas were a novelty for a few of them. Of course that was perfect. The food was, as always, very good. Even though it was really busy that evening, the service worked really well. It's a bit crowded with several people, but apart from that it's definitely comfortable. But what really fits perfectly for a group like this is the constant back and forth of plates between everyone. That makes it all super communicative and entertaining. What I'm missing in the long run is a bit of variety on the menu. In other restaurants there is often a special note on the menu with seasonal specialties that change weekly or monthly. If that were added, it would be perfect. Otherwise, for me it is the best value for money in Regensburg when it comes to tapas, both for food and drinks.

Very bad service. We ordered the sever was talking to random people and then just told us after 30 mins that the stuff we ordered isn’t available no more.

Very comfortable, fast and friendly service. Food is served every 10 minutes, not at the same time. Red house wine is undrinkable and remains on many of the neighboring tables. At our suggestion, we were brought a slightly better bottle of wine, unfortunately also very flat. Conclusion: You don't need a Spaniard who either has no idea what he's serving or, worse, who knowingly serves it. Luckily there are two alternatives in Rbg...

You will be welcomed by very friendly, pretty staff. Got a spot by chance. So definitely BOOK!!!! Everything in the picture was delicious.. so great😅🤤 I will gladly come again. Highly recommended :)

The location is nice and easy to reach. Space at the table is a bit tight. The food is super tasty and the quality is absolutely top notch. Service is very good, nice and accommodating. Depending on the volume, the waiting time can be a bit long, even for drinks. I would definitely recommend it 👌

The food is fantastic. What a bit small. Is, are the tables. With so many small trays there is hardly any space on the table. But I'll definitely come by again. 😊😀

The restaurant was very busy when we visited. We found the distances to the neighboring tables to be very small. Conversations at the neighboring table were unintentionally overheard. The table was far too small for the number of tapas. Food average. Octopus tough. Tatar is minced, not hand-cut, but that is a matter of taste. Sangria with fresh unpickled fruit. Scallops were good. The service very good.

For us the best Spaniard in Regensburg! The tapas are very large compared to other Spanish restaurants and are also incredibly tasty! The service is quick and very nice. We didn't have to wait 10 minutes for our food. We also really like the ambience. Clear recommendation!

There were three of us, we received a friendly welcome and were served quickly. The food was very tasty and I can only recommend it. The wine was also really good. We'd love to come back.

We were there spontaneously and were lucky to get a spot. The restaurant is modern, clean, nice atmosphere with pleasant lighting. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. We had a number of different starters, the food was good, but unfortunately not anymore. Some dishes are poor copies and cannot be compared to what you get in Spain. 2 examples, aioli, it is not enough to mix mayo with garlic and advertise it as aioli. Nowhere in Spain have I found an aioli that tastes particularly sweet. The low price of around 2.1 euros/portion suggests that a mass-produced product is being used as a basis. It was similar with the Serano, the slices were cut precisely, like they were made by a machine. No trace of irregular slice shreds hand-cut with a knife. The taste wasn't very intense, reminds me of similar products that you can buy at discount stores. On the positive side, the pulp of the plancha was very tender, which is not that easy. The prices are also fair, but correspond to what I consider to be average quality.

Although the restaurant was fully booked, a table was set up for us at short notice and we were served very quickly and courteously. Service and food were very good. We'd love to come back.

The tapas were really very good and very plentiful. Nothing was cold. Service was very attentive but seemed overwhelmed. Unfortunately, it's very loud and a bit cramped, so it's hard to have a proper conversation. Maybe it's better in summer if you can go into the garden. Pizza is no longer offered.

The quality of the food such as fish, dates etc was excellent. We are passionate tapas eaters but unfortunately the aioli tasted artificial and only like mayo and the baguette also had a touch of baked food. Which is unfortunately not justified for the price. Unfortunately the toilets are not hygienic and not heated. The service was great and dealt with our criticism very well.

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend bei Euch. Neben Klassikern wie die Pimientos de Padron und Datteln im Speckmantel ist der gebratene Oktopus sehr lecker.

Tolles Ambiente, sehr freundlicher Service und tolle Auswahl an Speisen. Diese sind auch sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Essen war an sich gut, allerdings hätte es einen ticken wärmer sein können...der "Service" war unter aller Kanone...ich weiß nicht, wo der Besitzer die beiden Damen aufgegabelt hat aber die haben leider keine Verwandten in der Gastro... Wir konnten nur auf Anfrage hin unser Essen aufnehmen lassen, bekamen die Getränke nach unserem Essen, es wurde nicht nachgefragt, ob wir noch was brauchen auch hier mussten wir selbst darum beten, ein weiteres Getränk wurde 2 Mal bestellt und 2 mal vergessen...das sind an sich kleinigkeiten aber wenn man zum essen geht möchte man den abend genießen und sich nich ständig ein bisschen ärgern müssen, das lokal war 3/4 leer....das Lokal ist an sich schön eingerichtet!

Leider ein Reinfall. Von den lustlos-gekangweilten Servicedamen welche lieber tratschen als bedienen und keine Rückfragen zum Gericht beantworten konnten über die mit Fingerabdrücken verschmierten Gläser zum Essen. Der Meeresfrüchtesalat, welcher lt Karte aus genau dem besteht (Muscheln, Garnelen, Calamari, Oktopus) war mit Surimi "gestreckt". Insofern doof, weil weder in der Speisekarte steht, noch gekennzeichnet war. (Surimi enthält Allergene wie Weizen und Soja). Dafür sind 13,90€ wirklich happig. Patatas waren lecker, Surf&Turf okay. Das Andalusische Gemüse sowie der Spinat schwammen in Öl. Ambiente klein aber schick und soweit ich beurteilen sauber, die Musik war allerdings extrem laut. Zusammengefasst werden wir das Boleros nicht mehr aufsuchen und lieber einen anderen Spanier aufsuchen.

Essen war sehr gut und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Preis-Leistung absolut ok. Es ist vielleicht etwas zu laut aber sonst alles gut und sehr stylisch im Backstein Look eingerichtet. Gerne wieder

Leider hatten wir (3Personen) mehrfach Pech!!! Erst wurde uns ein Tisch für außen zugesagt. Dieser war zur gebuchten Zeit nicht frei und wir wurden vertröstet - innen „kurz“ Platz zu nehmen und bereits Getränke zu bestellen, um dann nach außen gehen zu können wenn der gebuchte Tisch frei ist. Alternativ würde uns der nächste freie Tisch im inneren Garten zugewiesen werden. Also setzten wir uns guten Glaubens nach Innen und warteten……. Wir warten 45 Minuten um unsere Getränkebestellung aufgeben zu können. Bis dahin KEIN Angebot für unseren außen gebuchten Tisch. Kurz darauf kam eine weitere Bedienung und nahm die Essenbestellung auf. Unsere Getränke kamen alle vereinzelt!!! Wieso? Drei Gläser sollten kein Problem sein! Oder??? Das Dilemma sollte wohl auch bei unserer Essenwahl weitergehen. Dieses kam nur zum Teil an den Tisch. Erst auf Nachfrage durch „hinter laufen“ wurde auch der Rest Bestellung geliefert. Ein kurzer Blick über den Tisch ob noch was zu trinken gewünscht wird > Fehlanzeige! Der Gast bleibt auf dem Trockenen! Unser Platz blieb nun der im Inneren des Restaurants! Ohne jegliche Kommunikation, Rückmeldung oder Entschuldigung der Bedienung! Weiterhin warteten wir dann um unsere Rechnung zahlen zu können. Dies taten wir dann in Eigenregie der Bedienung zulaufend direkt an der Kasse. So einen schlechten Service habe ich noch nie erlebt. Die Organisation der Abläufe in diesem Restaurant schreien zum Himmel. Unglaublich!

Wir waren gestern im Boleros und waren wieder begeistert über das leckere Essen, den weissen Sangria und die sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung, die wir hatten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auf zack. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, dass die Zeit wie im Flug vergangen ist und wir 5 Stunden dort mit Essen und Trinken verbracht haben. Ich war schon öfters dort und bin jedesmal wieder begeistert. Sehr zu empfehlen, man fühlt sich wie im Urlaub.

Das Ambiente im Innenhof ist super gemütlich und einladend. Abgerundet wurden das alles von Lisa M. super vielen Dank für den super Service und der Gastfreundlichkeit, der „Tunel“ war sehr gut. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen.

Sehr schöne Bar. Meiner Meinung nach besser als die alt eingesessene Konkurrenz. Schön verwinkeltes Lokal, bis hin zu einem überdachten Innenhof.

Sehr gutes Essen, lockeres Ambiente, Bedienung unübertrefflich. Für die Gemütlicje Runde unter Freunden einfach perfekt. Man hat die Möglichkeit die unterschiedlichste Tapas zu probieren, die Albondigas sind ein Muss, die Garnellen auch sehr lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ich war schon mehrmals im Bolero’s zu Gast und bin jedes Mal wieder begeistert. Die Tapas sind sehr lecker und das Ambiente perfekt für ein spanisches Restaurant. Hervorzuheben ist auch der exzellente Service. Die Bedienungen sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. All in all eine absolute Empfehlung in Regensburg.

Wir haben hier gute Tapas gegessen, alles tadellos, auch die Gambas. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, und das Essen kam schnell. Die Einrichtung hat uns gefallen, angenehme Atmosphäre. Der Freisitz im Innenhof sah lohnenswert aus, leider hat es geregnet!

Der Innenhof de Boleros ist sehr schön gestaltet und sorgt für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Ambiente ist wirklich ansprechend und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Speisekarte bietet eine breite Auswahl an köstlichen Tapas, für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Die Zubereitung der Gerichte geht sehr zügig. Und der Geschmack? Einfach nur hervorragend! Jeder Bissen ist ein Genuss. Die angemessenen Preise runden das Gesamterlebnis ab. Ich kann das Boleros uneingeschränkt empfehlen und komme definitiv wieder!

Wir waren mit unseren zwei Kindern in diesem wunderschönen Restaurant. Im gemütlichen Hinterhof mit romantischen Lichtern und absolut wunderbarer ruhiger Atmosphäre haben wir das exzellente Essen genossen. Das Preis - Leistungs- Verhältnis ist hervorragend. Absolut positiv zu erwähnen ist das sehr zuvorkommende und überaus freundliche Personal. Wenn wir wieder in Regensburg sind, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sehr idyllischer Innenhof zum Sitzen, der über manches hinwegtröstet. Gerichte überhaupt nicht gewürzt, schmecken sehr fade. Schmecken eingedeutscht und haben mit spanischer küche rein gar nichts zu tun. Getränke, die mit 0,4l oder 0,5 angegriffen sind, aber in 0,3 ausgeschenkt werden. Eibe total überforderte Kellnerin. Zahlen am Tisch ist nicht möglich, man muss zur Theke laufen, Schlange stehen. Sie tippt total hektisch auf ihrem Bildschirm rum und versucht, eine Rechnung hinzukriegen. Alles in allem... Hab ich mal ausprobiert, muss ich nicht nochmal haben

Phänomenales Essen, in netter Location und Atmosphäre. Sowohl Besitzer als auch Servicepersonal sind sehr freundlich, flott. Durch Zufall hierhin gekommen und steht ab jetzt fest auf der Liste der favorisierten Restaurants !

Wir lieben das Essen hier, im Sommer kann man auch schön im Hinterhof draußen sitzen. Es ist zwar etwas teurer aber für ab und zu echt zu empfehlen. Innen ist es allerdings ziemlich laut, so dass man bei Unterhaltungen oft Probleme hat den anderen zu verstehen.

Sehr gute Tapas in schönem Ambiente. Es gibt einen Innenhof der im Sommer schön ist. Wie oft bei Tapas isst man hier nicht super günstig, dafür ist die Qualität gut und die Portionen sehr fair!
