The waiter wanted constructive criticism, please: The waitresses smoke outside and don't wash their hands afterwards. NO GO!!!! The drinks took 45 minutes and even then, some were forgotten. The food was just warmed up. (Fish) The dates in the bacon were the worst I've ever eaten. The location itself is nice and cozy. But that was it. I don't know where all the good reviews come from. Either the actual chef was on vacation or he has since quit. The food doesn't work at all. Take care of your health.

Service was ok, but waited 30 minutes for drinks. Waited over 60 minutes for the food. Meat was inedible, sauces were not specified, whether with or without egg yolks. Then there was only 1 edible plate left. Very unfortunate. We sat outside and the table shook constantly. So unfortunately: uncomfortable, expensive and I just didn't find it tasty, sorry!

A very cozy tapas bar. The ambience is very appealing. The tapas were consistently very tasty and of very good quality. However, it is not for those on a budget. You should definitely reserve a table as there is a lot going on here.

The food is super delicious. Unfortunately the service was terrible. We wanted to order another bottle of rosé. Unfortunately we were denied this because the reservation time had expired. We were literally thrown out even though we still had food on our plates. Outrageous!!!

Last night I discovered the restaurant by chance, what a gift!! I deliberately chose the counter. The ambience and mood was fabulous. The team was super nice and competent, you could really tell how much fun they had with their work. The food and wine, simply fantastic. All in all just great, I'll be back, no question!!!

If you have an internal company party on August 4, 2024, you should post a notice at the entrance or make it public on the homepage. It can't be the case that 10 people wait at the entrance to get into the restaurant and the staff just walks past and doesn't tell people anything. Only after calling and knocking again did someone come and announce that today was an internal company party. Sorry, that's not possible...

Super nice place with a great outdoor area in the yard. Very relaxed atmosphere, especially in the evening with the lighting. We were there late (after 10 p.m.) but still got small tapas (very tasty) and drank delicious wine. The service was great. Thank you for the lovely evening.

For the first time, I rate a place not for the level of the cuisine but for the attitude of the service... I understand that on a beautiful, warm afternoon, without a reservation, there was a problem with getting a table outside. However, it was empty inside. Even though there were several two-person tables in the middle, the staff tried to seat us at the worst possible seat 🤦🏻‍♀️ without asking how long we wanted to stay, what we wanted, just two people - only in the corner against the wall 🙃 maybe we would accept this approach in the best tapas restaurant in Spain, but not here... (apparently it was Bodega only in name because the approach towards us had nothing to do with the Spanish culture of openness and approach to guests - I encourage the staff to take a longer trip to Spain...)

the food is weak, without taste and luckily also without smell, trying to see them here, but somehow it doesn't come true, it was one of the weaker trabas outside of Spain, who was impeccable, the service was nice and helpful and excellently communicative .... we take it's just that the chef didn't have his day, despite the relatively low rating we gave here, we think we'll come here again sometime ..... maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised

The restaurant is nicely decorated, the service is friendly and fast, but unfortunately that's the end of the praise. We weren't impressed with the dishes themselves: they tasted very bland and were overpriced. Not a single photo from the reviews is identical to the order delivered to my table. The many positive reviews surprise me, I can't understand it. The only positive thing was the good atmosphere. There is no star for the grossly overpriced and bad wine (Albarino). The so-called Patatas Bravas Ajoli are not worth their name or that of a Spanish restaurant! The prices are disproportionate to the quality (and quantity) of the food. Conclusion: Very disappointing and incomprehensible why everyone is raving about it. Our Food: LOMO DE BUEY^, grade 5 – chewy and with flax PIMIENTOS DE PADRÓN, grade 1 PATATAS Aioli, grade 4 JAMÓN IBÉRICO JABUGO, grade 6 - no Iberico and only 6 leaves CREMA CATALANA, grade 4- without taste

Excellent outdoor terrace, great vibe and absolutely delicious tapas. There are vegetarian and gluten free options, nice desserts, rich drinks menu featuring cocktails and mocktails. Staff is friendly and helpful. One of the top places to eat in Regensburg, but I recommend making a reservation cause Bodega is highly popular.

Had our first dinner in Regensburg after we arrived earlier in the day. Started with drinks (caipirinha, Tequila sunrise). Selection of tapas: calamari, meatballs, potatoes aioli, and some cheese. Dined inside - their outside dining area is wonderful, but it was full when we arrived. Also 3 Cokes. Total was 61 Euro / $66 USA - pretty reasonable.

Unfortunately the service was uncoordinated and rude. It's a shame the rest was fine and unfortunately was devalued by this fact.

The Bodega Bar is probably the best tapas restaurant in Regensburg, both in terms of the quality of the tapas and the unique ambience. The service is super customer-oriented, friendly and, above all, authentic. It's particularly great to dine outside, directly after the Orphee. The tapas are excellent and we recommend 4 tapas per person, which are of course shared. France and Spain so authentic in one alley. A really great concept. Actually you could have incorporated the brilliant Cosi. So conclusion: very clear recommendation

The food is not cheap and the quality varies a lot. Seats uncomfortable, music a bit loud. They should go to Spain to see the how it is done there and improve the service quality of some workers: they can’t be more careless towards the customers.

Always worth a visit! The atmosphere and ambience of a crowded, noisy Spanish tapas bar is simply unique! The food is always good, the service is sometimes a bit overwhelmed but always friendly. In order to be sure to get a place, you should always make a reservation, on the weekend anyway, but there is always something going on here even during the week!

Very busy, reservations make sense

A nice place with a great ambience to relax and enjoy the delicious Spanish cuisine with a delicious red vino or a light cocktail. Not quite so cheap that you could enjoy it every day, but an absolute recommendation, especially on vacation when you are in this beautiful city of Regensburg. Spontaneously it could be difficult to get seats, especially on the weekend, so it's better to reserve in advance (at least 1-2 days in advance, probably more).

We didn't like it that much and it was quite expensive. It's usually very full in the evenings, so it took us a few attempts before we got a seat. But then the taste is rather sobering.

For me one of the best tapas restaurants. Without a reservation it is difficult to get a seat. Dishes are rather expensive. The quality is also top.

Maybe I didn't ordered the things that are good, I mainly ordered the vegetarian tapas and some dips, but the food I got was pretty mediocre, I would say bad

We celebrated our wedding at the Bodega and couldn't have chosen a nicer place for our small, intimate celebration! From the very beginning we were looked after so warmly and even in the evening the waitresses were so attentive and kind! We would do it exactly the same way again and are grateful to the whole team! We brought our own cake and there were absolutely no problems with that either.

Great atmosphere, but unfortunately it's hard to get any space. Actually strange for the grossly overpriced and bad wine. Wouldn't go again.

It's incomprehensible how a restaurant like this gets such good reviews. People have probably never been to Spain where good food is served. The only thing that was good was baguette and lentil salad. Tortilla without taste, fish and octopus not fresh. Stool uncomfortable. He will be thrown out after 2 hours.

Sure the tapas aren't bad, but there's definitely still some room for improvement. The motto also applies here: “see and be seen with kisses”. The service is usually quite inattentive and seems "stressed", but the backdrop ambience excuses a lot here.

My absolute favorite tapas bar! Very tasty food in an authentic atmosphere. Especially outside in summer you feel like you are in Spain. We will continue to be regular guests and look forward to our next visits.

I think the Bodega is definitely one of the best tapas restaurants in Regensburg. The dishes all impressed me, very tasteful, very good quality and very well seasoned! I definitely recommend reserving a table. The staff is very nice and accommodating! The location is rustic and you immediately get holiday vibes! You should have visited Regensburg!

We felt like we were in Spain, very tasty, typical Spanish tapas, Spanish music, menu in Spanish and waiters understand Spanish ❤️ The service was totally friendly.

Be sure to make a reservation so that you don't experience disappointment and miss out on this nice restaurant. It's probably easier to get a spot during the week or when there are just two of you, but I've only been there on weekends so far. Once for two at the top of the gallery. A favorite place to watch the action, drink red wine and eat tapas. Once again we sat downstairs with friends. A very cozy restaurant, with good food and a great ambience. Always worth a visit.

Extremely delicious. Been here a few years ago. Back then without children. This time tested with 2 children. Was a success. They liked it a lot too. There were other children there too. However, the food is more suitable for adults. But if you're happy with delicious bread and potatoes, you can also come here with kids. Prices are reasonable for the location and the quality, but it adds up...

Habe noch viel zu tun und andere Gäste zu bedienen“. ~Nebenbemerkung für das Management~ Wenn ein kleiner Tisch innerhalb kürzester Zeit, am Abend einen Umsatz über 300 Euro erreicht und nicht mal die Möglichkeit hat die Rechnung zu splitten und völlig inakzeptabel behandelt wird, ist das eine Schwäche des Managements und ein Zeichen davon, dass der Laden absolut überbewertet ist.

Ziemlich teuer. Recht voll. Nicht so mein Geschmack.

Die Atmossphäre war sehr angenehm lebendig und das Restaurant ist stilvoll eingerichtet. Auf den Service warteten wir m.E. zu lange, um etwas zu trinken zu bestellen. Wobei auch sehr viel los war. Dafür kam das Essen trotz gefülltem Restaurant zügig und war einfach richtig gut. Alles war sehr angemessen und köstlich gewürzt und frisch. Die Getränkepreise sind für Regensburg günstig. Wir haben den Abend sehr genossen.

Super Ambiente im Restaurant mit Beleuchtung und Einrichtung. Wir hatten einen Platz oben an der Galerie mit Blick von Oben. Die Bedienung war super nett, freundlich und zügig. Das Essen hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Gesunde Auswahl an Tapas und Getränken. Kann die Gambas sehr empfehlen. Laden war gut gefüllt, man sollte definitiv vorab reservieren! Man lässt hier zu zweit gut und gerne seine 80€, aber da die Qualität, der Service und Ambiente stimmt, bin ich gern dazu bereit.

Wir waren gestern das 2.Mal in dieser super Location. Das Essen, diesmal Tappas und frittierte Sardellen, war ein Hochgenuss. Das Preis /Leistungsverhältnis entsprechend der sehr guten Qualität stimmt. 👍 Die Bodega ist sehr empfehlenswert und die Bedienung aufmerksam, freundlich und kompetent. Einziges Manko, dass wir nicht reservieren konnten. Tut aber dem Gesamturteil keinen Abbruch.

Haben auch kurz vor 21 Uhr noch sehr freundlichen Service und leckeres Essen genossen. Der Oktopus war sowas von lecker! Ich komme wieder

Sitzgelegheiten sind zu eng und eher unbequem

Sehr schönes Restaurant, wir hatten nicht reserviert, der Kellner machte es möglich und wir bekamen einen Platz an der Bar. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend

Eines meiner Lieblingslokale in Regensburg. Rechtzeitig reservieren!

Ein Abend mit Freunden in der Bodega: Es ist eng, laut, voll, (sehr) warm, coole Musik. Das Lokal ist Kult. Das Wichtigste aber: Das Essen war grandios. Richtig gute Tapas, kein müder Abklatsch pseudospanischer Tellerchen, sondern jedes Gericht richtig gut gemacht, schön gewürzt. Eine Freude zu essen. Besonders hervorzuheben: Die gemischten Oliven lecker wie vom Markt, die Calamares a la plancha, die sensationellen kleinen Gambas a la plancha, die wunderbar saftigen und würzigen Albondigas, die leckeren Pimentos de Padrón und -wow!- der Linsensalat. Schade ist, dass die Auswahl an Weißwein recht mau ist. Ein Chardonnay, ein Albariño, und letzterer kein Aushängeschild Seiber Sorte. Schade, angesichts der unglaublichen Fülle an tollen Weißweinen, die Spanien zu bieten hat. Die Rotweinauswahl ist dagegen vielseitig. Wirklicher Wermutstropfen ist der Service. Sowohl die Bedienungen als auch die Bar wirkten völlig überfordert. Die Bedienungen zwar nett, aber einfach zu wenige. Man musste sich wirklich bemühen, um Getränkenachschub zu bekommen. An der Bar schien gar nichts voran zu gehen, Nicht nur dauerten die Getränke viel zu lange, auch die Cocktails (wir hatten Caipirinhas und Mojitos) waren nicht nur schlecht, sondern definitiv ungenießbar. Das darf nicht passieren. Hätte man zB ehrlich gesagt, sorry, wir haben eine neue Barkeepern, die kann das noch nicht, dann hätte man sich amüsiert, aber es akzeptiert. Eigentlich hätte ich dem Abend für 5 Sterne Essen und 2 Sterne Service insgesamt 3 Sterne gegeben. Da aber unserer Reklamationen freundlich und mit Verständnis angenommen wurden und der Chefkellner sich wirklich Mühe gab, sich zu kümmern, gebe ich 4 Sterne als Bewertung für ein eigentlich tolles Lokal.

Wer sich wie in Spanien fühlen möchte ist HIER genau richtig, Essen und Service TOP ( ich empfehle die Platten ist alles drauf und schmeckt lecker 😋 )

Ganz ordentliche Tapas Bar. Service super auf Zack, Essen OK, aber nix besonderes und verhältnismäßig teuer. Location ganz gut, aber immer sehr voll und eng gestellt und dadurch auch sehr laut. Kann man mal machen, aber gibt Orte, wo man besser essen kann.

Really beautiful setting both indoors and outside, and the food and drinks are tasty. However, at a tapas place you want to be able to order more dishes often, but they were clearly understaffed, so it would take 20-30 minutes of nervously trying to get the waiter’s attention. Considering that it’s already a pricey place (rightfully so given the quality of the food!), this kind of slow service makes me a bit hesitant to go back.

Toller Service, leckeres Essen und tolles Ambiente - gerne wieder!

Wir sind spontan abends in größerer Gruppe hin und haben gleich einen Tisch bekommen. Das Essen war sehr gut, es kam auch sehr schnell und die Preise für die Qualität der Gerichte völlig in Ordnung. Am besten waren die Garnelen und der Chimichurri Dip. Der Service war hervorragend, all unsere Wünsche wurden erfüllt und das Ambiente, die allgemeine Stimmung im Restaurant war sehr schön. Wenn man in Regensburg ist, definitiv einen Trip wert und zum Geburtstag feiern ein Muss.

Zu zweit haben wir insgesamt 7 Tapas gegessen. Wir haben wertvolle Tipps zur Bestellung der Tapas bekommen und ALLE Tapas waren richtig lecker. Danach waren wir sehr satt, trotzdem haben wir uns noch eine Nachspeise geteilt. Diese war das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Sehr, sehr gut! Und das alles darf man in einem wunderschönen Innenhof genießen. Danke!

Besonderes Erlebnis mit den vielen verschiedenen Tappas. Aufjedenfall lohnt es sich mal vorbeizuschauen!
