Yes and how recommendable it is...sooo delicious

We had reserved and there were four of us. The food was great, the salads The salad buffet was well prepared and the selection was very plentiful. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. We'll be back.

Everything was actually great, but during our visits in 2024 we found the portions to be a bit small - also given the prices. But it may well be that this has changed in the meantime or that we are alone with this opinion. The menu could - if this hasn't already happened - be visually renewed and thus improved, but even more important would be clearer information about the portion sizes and ingredients. This would eliminate many questions from the outset. One star deduction for the reasons mentioned above. 4+ with asterisk ;-)

Fleisch sehr gut, Steak Garstufe rare perfekt getroffen, Teller warm, Gemüse nicht zu weich, Portionen reichlich, freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service - wir kommen wieder, da die Speisekarte sehr reichhaltig ist!!

I've been to Rusticana again for a long time and this time I was very disappointed. I had an onion roast (Serbian style). The meat was very tough and partly inedible. Instead of plain I had fries - they weren't crispy, they were soggy and cold. The best thing about the whole dish was the salad - the buffet selection was very good and tasty.. Service very friendly and attentive!

Great service, everyone very friendly. I had ribs, which were unfortunately very tough and tasted sour. Don't think they were cooked for long, but rather warmed up frozen ribs. For the price of the ribs I expected more. The rest of the table had a good meal.

Was here for dinner for the first time yesterday. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating, the menu contains various Mexican classics and some home-style dishes. The salad buffet is huge and offers a wide selection of salads and dressings. In short, you can recommend the restaurant without reservation.

❌❌❌❌❌❌ DO NOT RECOMMEND ❌❌❌❌❌❌ Unfortunately, the impressions remained sad. I was seduced by the rating of 4.7, I read two comments that everything was excellent, I was glad that I could have a delicious dinner along the way and move on. But that was not the case... • First they asked “have you booked a table?” Eh? Nooo... “we have almost all the tables here reserved”... Okay... Although 4 tables on the street were free... first they seated us inside, after we sat down... they offered us a table on the street.. ok... let's go outside. • then we waited for a long time for someone to come up to us... after 30 minutes they came up and asked what we wanted... without giving us a menu... but we are not proud people, we looked online at what we had... we liked the steak and potatoes. We ordered... and after almost 2 hours they brought it to us (after we asked 3 times and the order was even accepted???) well... anything can happen... they brought meat 5 cm thick, like a medium (medium rare) and the meat inside turned out to be half-raw... . And this is after an hour of time that they supposedly fried it for us.... We asked the waiter to fry it properly... he immediately, 10 minutes later, brought it straight with a fried crust.... Ooookey... we didn't eat there anymore... we took it with us... Result: ❌stressed ❌the staff showed us their dislike for foreigners (although I note that we are Germans, we just grew up in another country) ❌The food was not tasty (but we hoped that maybe it was worth the time we spent) ❌ paid 140,- € (this is supposedly at a discount because of the meat) sorry what??? We took 4 drinks (5,- each) and two steaks with fries for four... ❌to the extent of politeness they said that this would not work, to which they replied “we did everything possible on our part...” ❌ left tired, hungry and “poor” It left a very bad aftertaste! If you look different from the native Germans and you need a quick snack - drive by!!!!

Didn't order the entire menu, only ordered the steak. We fried it for 2 hours, it was not quite fried, we asked to fry it again to Medium, in 15 minutes we managed to overcook it. There weren't that many people in the restaurant. The restaurant was filled to a maximum of 30%, judging by the seats that were free. About the salad. The cabbage leaves are bitter, the tomatoes are green, the mushrooms are not tasty, as if they were raw (well, this is not surprising) When I wanted to calmly express my opinion, they answered me - what do you want to hear? My answer to you is no more.

A bit remote, but worth the drive. The atmosphere was pleasant and you could sit in front of the restaurant or in the back garden. The menu had allergens highlighted which made it easier to choose a gluten-free dish. The selection was also very good. The waitress was also very nice and asked the kitchen again whether the selected dish was really prepared without gluten. The food was very tasty and the large portions will definitely fill you up. A hidden gem in Passau.

Today the three of us were at RUSTICANA Heinigerstr. Unfortunately, I didn't have my cell phone with me to take photos of the delicious food. We had 2x garlic soup (with lots of vegetables and even meat) that wasn't on the menu. Very very tasty. 1x garlic bread baked with tomatoes and cheese. 3 small baguette slices. Plus 2x wine spritzer and 1x special. Then we went to the exceptionally large salad buffet. A variety of salads and dressings. My personal favorite is red cabbage salad with horseradish. Afterwards there were 3 different main courses. What we thought was great was that they all came to our table hot and at the same time. I had wedges with three types of meat, liver, beef and turkey. For my taste, the liver could have been a little more tender. It was still tasty, the beef was just as I wanted it, still very pink on the inside. And the turkey meat was so tender that you hardly needed a knife to cut it. Once there was pork fillet skewered with rice, corn and a very spicy sauce, the other dish was called Montezuma. Very, very spicy and delicious. In between, drinks came to our table again, as mentioned above. To top it all off, I had a dessert, which consisted of sweet tortillas with sugar cinnamon and vanilla ice cream. For digestion there was the homemade tequila with cinnamon... the burner... if I hadn't had to drive, I would have liked to drink a few more of it. My companions got their wine spritzers again. Everything together, including the tip, cost €135. Many will say, wow, that's a lot. We say... it is fully justified. Great quality of food, courteous waiter, not intrusive, great ambience. I would like to express my thanks to RUSTICANA. A successful evening.

We like being there. We can only recommend the buffet on Sunday at lunchtime. You can try everything and everyone will find something. In addition, various types of meat and fish can be freshly prepared according to your choice. Very nice and competent service. Price performance is good. The portions are enough to keep even a man full. As a house drink we recommend the house cinnamon tikila. It is mild and very tasty. You should also try the homemade lemonades. Gladly again.

As always... everything was great! The food was plentiful and very good, the service was top. The rich and extensive salad buffet leaves nothing to be desired. We've recently added a homemade liqueur on the house, just great. The prices are on the higher side, but they are certainly justified. Always my pleasure!!!

We were here for the first time, there was parking almost in front of the door and we decided to sit outside. The rustic tables and benches in front of the entrance simply invited people not to go inside in the perfect weather. The waitress welcomed us very friendly and was very patient until we decided on our meal. The food (grilled veal liver and fish platter) was plentiful, came quickly and was very good. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't tell us that we could get salad from the buffet. We then had it as dessert after we asked for it ourselves. The salad buffet is very diverse, attractive and labeled. But in my opinion it's a bit "too open" (sometimes you lean directly over the bowls). I am definitely looking forward to further visits to this beautiful restaurant and can highly recommend it.

Addendum 6/7/24: Went to the reopening today and everything was “the same” and that’s a good thing. The new operator is also very nice. We have remained loyal to the restaurant since our Kühberg days. The delicious ribs still taste the same today as they did back then. And the operator is a soul of a woman. The lunch buffet on Sunday is mega.

Not difficult to find, ambience is dated. A dish with salad was ordered from the buffet, but you can only eat it once. You get stupid comments from the waiter when you go there a second time. Portion size is far too small for €18. Tastes good but too expensive - for three small tortillas and a salad buffet that you can only go to once. Nothing for the really hungry.

Unfortunately, comfortable is something else. There were two of us eating there and we were seated at a dirty table. The waitress didn't even bother to change the dirty tablecloth. There was an older gentleman sitting at the next table who kept falling asleep and was woken up by the waitress - an interesting situation. We had chili con carne and fajitas. Since the food came within 10 minutes, we highly doubt that the chili was freshly prepared. The fajitas were OK, but nothing special. The salad buffet was very disappointing. If there is no fresh salad, cucumbers or similar fresh vegetables on Sunday evenings before 8 p.m., in my opinion you cannot speak of a salad buffet. Only canned vegetables were available. Despite the low prices, we would have liked better quality. The 4.7 is absolutely incomprehensible to us.

Hello friends on Google Maps! I can only recommend the restaurant, I often go there with my girlfriend and we are both very happy with everything. The only restriction in summer is the allocation of outdoor seating with shade (so it makes sense to reserve a table depending on the time of day). Today we went to the Mexican-Bavarian buffet for the first time. There was a nice selection of different dishes, very good in terms of taste and quality. The waiter was very friendly and attentive, very good service! We'd love to come back!

This place was excellent. The food on the buffet was delicious. Never had deer ragout from a buffet before. It has a mixture of German and Mexican options. The food was not overly spicy straight from the kitchen, though I am sure they had plenty of sauces you could add if you like more heat, but for most people, this will be just right. The buffet is only on Sunday at lunch and is a bit expensive but worth every cent. Be sure to reserve a seat in advance for noon. We were there later, though, so it wasn't needed.

Wir kennen dieses Restaurant noch aus der Innsatdt und waren schon sehr oft zu Gast. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und absolut flott, hier gibt es auch nichts zu Meckern. Das Ambiente passt auch perfekt zum Thema und es ist sehr gemütlich. Das Essen ist leider nicht mein Fall, die Karte ist ziemlich groß und an Auswahl mangelt es nicht...aber das Essen ist für meinen Geschmack etwas zu fad und langweilig. Auch das große und gut bestückte Salatbuffet konnte mich nicht überzeugen.

Das Salat Buffet ist immer mein Highlight. Essen ist immer sehr lecker. Ambiente passt mit Biergarten hinterm Haus

Wir waren eine Gruppe aus drei Pärchen und hatten vorab reserviert. Der kleine Biergarten vor dem Haus war leider durch den Regen nur halb zu benutzen, jedoch waren die trockenen Plätze belegt, somit mussten wir drinnen sitzen. Schnell wurde uns das aber zu warm und da wir gerne draußen sind, haben wir gefragt, ob wir Tücher zum Trocknen der Sitzflächen haben könnten. Der Kellner (Chef?) Bot uns einen trockenen Platz hinteren Biergarten an. Wir wussten nicht, dass es da einen weiteren Biergarten gibt mit Pavillon und einer Art Loggia und vielen Schirmen. Wir nahmen den großen Tisch unterhalb des Pavillons (mit Licht und Mückennetz zum zuziehen). Der Service war hervorragend und man musste nie lange warten, um zu bestellen oder ähnliches. Salat gibt es vom Buffet, welches reichlich Abwechslung und somit für jeden etwas zu bieten hat. Die Speisekarte hat eine gute Auswahl (auch vegetarisch) und die Präsentation der Speisen ist spitze! Für die lauen Abendstunden gibt es sogar verschiedene Cocktails. Der Sanitärbereich und das Restaurant waren sehr sauber. Der Parkplatz ist sehr begrenzt, jedoch kann man der Straße entlang parken ohne weiten Fußweg. Alles in allem war es ein gelungener Abend mit Wiederholungspotential!

Super Service!!! Sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, findet man so selten. Essen ist ok, eher deutsch gekocht als mexikanisch, geschmacklich aber gut. Preislich etwas teuer, für das was man bekommt. Garten zum sitzen ganz ok, man hört regelmäßig den Zug vorbei fahren und versteht dann nichts mehr. Tische stehen in der Wiese und dementsprechend dreckig sind dann am Ende des Abends die Schuhe. Ambiente im inneren auch ganz ok, gibt aber schönere Restaurants.

Zum einen sind wir total begeistert von der vielfältigen Auswahl an Speisen und dem großen Salatbuffet- was alles sehr lecker schmeckt und wirklich schön zubereitet ist. Und zum anderen ist es eine Freude dass man hier noch sehr freundlich und gute gelaunt bedient wird.

Schöne, abgelegenes Lokal. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Der Service ist gut und das Personal sehr freundlich. Preislich ist dis mexikanische Gaststätte im normalen, leicht gehoben Bereich. Das Salat-Buffet ist gut. Die Sauberkeit im Lokal, außerhalb und auch in den Sozialräumen ist sehr gut. Der Parkplatz ist sehr überschaubar, aber an der wenig befahren Straße ist ausreichend Platz. Weiter als 1-2 Minuten Fußmarsch muß nicht eingerechnet werden. Der Zugang zum Garten ist Barrierefrei, ins Lokal selbst und somit auch in die Toiletten führt über 3 Stufen.

Super leckere mexikanische Gerichte und eine sehr freundliche Wirtin!!! Liebevoll eingerichtet und gemütlich.

Nella periferia di Passau, in un contesto verde e tranquillo lungo la riva del Danubio, si trova questa trattoria in cui sembra davvero di essere accolti in casa. Hanno sia il menu alla carta che a buffet, noi abbiamo optato per quest'ultimo per il pranzo domenicale. Un buffet di cucina messicana davvero ben curato, ben presentato e con prodotti di qualità. I titolari sono zelanti, attenti e molto cordiali. Abbiamo pranzato in un bel giardino, dove l'unica pecca era dovuta alla piccola area bimbi assolutamente non curata e con la sola altalena non fruibile. Esperienza tuttavia molto piacevole e molto consigliata.

Sind sehr enttäuscht... wie die fünf Sterne zustande kommen ist uns ein Rätsel... Auswahl an mexikanischem Essen ist sehr klein ausgefallen. Grillfleisch und Salate waren in Ordnung. Wir kommen nicht nochmal her... Personal ist auch nur zu Stammkunden nett.

Wir hatten Samstag Abends einen Tisch reserviert und das war gut so, denn das Restaurant war bis auf den letzten Tisch besetzt. Bestellt haben wir dann Fajitas Pava Asado (14,90 €) und Rib Eye (21,50 €) mit Knoblauchbrot und Gemüse (2,50 €), dazu einen Mai Tai (7,50 €), ein Wasser (2,90 €), 2 Spezi (5,80 €) und einen Planters Punch (7, 50 €). Trotz der vielen Gäste war das Essen zügig am Tisch. Das Rib Eye war perfekt auf den Punkt und hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Besonders toll ist das hausgemachte Knoblauchbrot, das ich so sofort wieder bestellen würde. Die Fajitas waren gut, wenn auch etwas anders als bei unserem Stamm-Mexikaner gewohnt. Die Dame im Service war super nett und eigentlich war alles perfekt. Nur eine Sache hat uns gestört: Anscheinend gab es ein Problem mit der Reservierung. Als wir ankamen, wurde uns noch sehr freundlich ein Tisch zugewiesen (mit Verweis auf unsere Reservierung für 2 Personen), aber anscheinend war diese nicht korrekt oder gar nicht aufgenommen worden und dabei hatte wir Tage vorher schon einen Tisch reserviert gehabt. Als ein anderes Pärchen kam, das ebenfalls vorab reserviert hatte, wurden wir inquisitionmäßig befragt, wann wir reserviert hätten und bei wem. Der männliche Kellner war dabei nicht wirklich freundlich. Das hat einen etwas schalen Eindruck hinterlassen. Wir dachten schon, wir würden gleich rausgeworfen. Da das Essen aber sehr gut war, möchten wir demnächst mal wieder kommen und diesmal hoffentlich ohne die Spirenzchen. Rechnung am Ende: 62,30 €

Wir waren Samstag Abends da und hatten reserviert, was gut war, denn während wir da waren, wurden am laufenden Band Kunden weggeschickt, da jeder Tisch belegt war. Bestellt haben wir dann Steak und Fajitas, dazu 2 Cocktails. Das Essen war trotz der vielen Gäste schnell am Tisch. Das Steak war perfekt, Medium-Rare, wie bestellt und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Fajitas waren ok, die Cocktails auch, wenn auch sehr stark. Die weibliche Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen demnächst mal wieder.

Im Rusticana bekommt man die besten Steaks weit und breit. Hatte mir ein ribeye Steak bestellt und war von der Qualität und Geschmack begeistert. Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Für diese Qualität ist Preis-Leistung mehr als top. Komme bestimmt wieder. Vielen Dank
