Extrem leckeres Essen, überdimensionale Pizza mit Top-Boden und gutem Belag. Sehr schönes Ambiente im Innenraum (draußen wird es auf dem Gehweg etwas eng, aber so ist es in Italien auch). Super aufmerksamer Service.

We were there as a family. Very happy recommend the pizzas. If the table is too small, four pizzas won't fit on it 😜 I shared a Berlusconi pizza (truffle) with my son and we couldn't finish it. The truffle would be grated fresh at the table. The beetroot capaccio was excellent. The waiter was very accommodating and always present despite the full restaurant. An absolute insider tip!!! We'd love to come back. Thank you.

The restaurant is well located and has a nice, mixed and calm clientele and very nice service. The pizzas are very good! Big, thin, crispy. Highly recommended. It was a bit noisy when we were there. But we were still able to have a good chat.

There were 4 of us and we arrived 15 minutes before the kitchen closed. It had already been 20 minutes before we could place our order. Nevertheless, we were served very friendly and everything was great. When the pizzas arrived we were wide-eyed because the pizzas protruded over the edge of the plate and two plates opposite each other on the table didn't fit because each plate protruded about a third of the plate over the edge of the table. 🙉 Wow what a pizza. Super big, very tasty and if you don't get enough of it, you can't help it. The surface is great, the floor is super thin. What more could you want? There was another little highlight for me. In the restaurant above the entrance there is a large monitor on which you can see the kitchen and explicitly how the pizzas are being prepared. You have to see how a small dough ball turns into a large pizza flatbread. It was my first time there and I will definitely come back. This restaurant is worth a strong recommendation. Thanks to the service, who, even though the kitchen was about to finish its work, were still willing to serve us normally and without any hassle. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We came here without a reservation and got a table. Super nice service. The food came quickly, was fresh and was of great quality, they say it tasted excellent. The colors in the unedited images speak for themselves. Anyone who had a pizza had to have it packed. 😂 I would love to come back here. Oh yes: you can also pay with a card. (This has to be mentioned in Berlin by now)

Was invited to Chateaubriand by my girlfriend!.... The meat was a delight!!!... Vegetables too.... the mashed potatoes with truffles were too "mushy" and sticky for me... I like mine better 😉 Now I want to try this giant pizza there...it looked extremely tasty!

The Atmosphere is good, service is perfect but the beef (i'm not sure was that beef or bacon) on the pizza was very dry and didn't taste like beef. I've said that i don't want to eat any bacon. Also they don't give any paper check. Other things are ok.

You can come here for lunch. Large portions for 10 euros. Not great in taste but ok. The service is very nice but unfortunately a bit slow. The bottle of water came after dinner. Can happen.

We were at Boccacelli for the first time today and it completely exceeded our expectations.. 😀 Great service, very friendly staff and the food was simply delicious.. 😀 A restaurant that is also very family friendly..! There was a young woman sitting next to us with her toddler, the waiter really took great care of her, something like that is rare these days! We can't understand the negative reviews we've read at all! And if you like a lot of pizza, you'll find what you're looking for here, you've never seen such a big pizza in Berlin, it's enough for 2 people.. 😀 The price is quite high at around 20 euros, but the pizza is also huge.. 😀 So, an absolute recommendation! By the way, the restaurant is also very cozy.. 😀

Cozy and pizzas that seem a bit expensive at first glance, but when they come to the table they are big enough to feed 3 people only to have 3 pieces left over, 2 of which you could use as a blanket and one as a pillow. The tiramisu is one of the best in Berlin and the service is friendly. A great Italian for occasions

The food was simply incredibly delicious. You may initially be shocked when you look at the prices, as a pizza can cost €20, but I have never eaten such a huge pizza in my life that was also so delicious. The pasta dishes also taste incredibly good. Absolute recommendation!

They offer gluten free, they say it takes longer than the rest (40 minutes!!!!!) because they ensure it’s all clean and gluten free, but when you get your GF pasta there is a gluten noodle in the dish. So, they don’t clean that well I guess. I really DONT RECOMMEND this place. The service is unbelievable slow, the waiter forgot to ask us a few times what we want to order as main courses. So really NOT recommended.

A very charming, cozy restaurant with a lively atmosphere. No tacky, cliche "Italian" decor. Very good, friendly service which is a rarity in Berlin. I've tried a few things. Antipasto, salmon, Bolognese and pizza. All were delicious. Portions and the pizzas are huge. Very good prices. I'm not a big fan of authentic Bolognese sauce but the Bolognese here is much more like what we had in Canada. The best I've had in Berlin.

I was here for the first time 3 weeks ago. Went here again today and Giuliano could still remember me and what I ate… amazing. This is what I call customer understanding. The food is exclusive and exactly what I hope for from authentic Italian cuisine. Prices are absolutely reasonable. When I'm back in Berlin, I definitely know where I'll eat.

One of the best Dolce Vita pizza what I eat in my whole life. The diameter of my pizza probably 45 cm. The restaurant atmosphere is really cool.

We like to go out for a good, authentic Italian meal often. Despite the generally good reviews here, we unfortunately cannot agree with them at all. The fact that there is no card payment there is not a reason for a negative review, but can still be mentioned as a tip for other guests. The price level is on the higher side. Bottle of sparkling water €6.90. A fairly large antipasti starter platter for €18, which was designed for one person, was not manageable even for two if you wanted to eat a main course afterwards. But that was the only thing that was positive. Loveless and without herbs, garlic and just the typical presentation that you know from good Italians, it was topped with blanched broccoli, green beans, a few fried unseasoned vegetables, a little but good Parma ham, four small slices of cheese... and… sliced ​​bratwurst(!) and it wasn't Italian Salcicca, but a plain bratwurst and worse, champions from a jar/can! Pasta made from a parmesan wheel with creamy truffle sauce and “planed” truffles for €28 followed. The pasta was prepared in the dining room in an elaborate and guest-friendly manner. Unfortunately, there was far too little fresh truffle spread over the pasta, and it was grated and not shaved. It is common practice and makes sense to plan truffles and not rub them in order to have a more intense mouthfeel and to taste the quality of the mushroom. You can't cheat with the small amount as in our case. Subjectively, the heavy cream sauce with truffle oil was far too strong. The second dish we ate was a very large and visually good pizza with Parma ham and tomatoes. Unfortunately, here too there was more quantity than quality. The dough - difficult to describe - was rather hard and heavy and had neither the smell nor the taste of fresh yeast and the cheese was by no means even cow mozzarella. The service was generally friendly, but always so short that we were never asked whether we were or were happy with everything. We weren't even asked about the bill. Even so, we felt served politely, but not welcomed, as one would expect from a real Italian restaurant. This was also reflected when, with a bill for two people of just under €75, we weren't even offered a digestif... but the table next to us was, two ladies who were eating a pizza together... but perhaps more exciting for the waiter were. We took the rest of the pizza with us, not because it was that good, but it was expensive enough to waste food. It was simply folded up carelessly... Anyone who has taken the time to read all of this below will hopefully understand that the author has no interest in critically tearing the store apart on the Internet, rather than leaving an impression for the owner and other guests as objectively as possible. -UPDATE: about 3 months after this review, I was asked via Google to provide proof of the restaurant visit because the owner doubted the review and wanted to have it deleted. Since there is no card payment, I had to present the receipt three months later. I still had this, then the procedure was immediately stopped and the review remained online. If you didn't have a perfect impression of this location: keep the receipt.

We were warmly welcomed and the atmosphere made a welcoming impression on us. We ordered 2 drinks without specifying the size and received both in the large 0.4l version. We know this differently from other restaurants - without specifying the size, we would otherwise receive the smallest version., 0.2 e.g. B., which would also exist here. We also ordered Padella Toscana and Linguini Vegi - neither of which suited our taste. To us, the linguini just tasted like pasta that had been briefly tossed in a lot of water with a lot of tasteless oil and a slight spiciness. We didn't see any roasted pine nuts. We found the Padella Toscana to be more appealing in terms of taste, but it was far too fatty for us. We only ate about a third of each dish and then asked for the bill An employee asked us if there was something wrong with the food. We briefly explained the above to him. Points. He took the plates without a word and left. Then another member of staff came and asked if we wanted any more drinks or a bedside table, which we declined. According to Google, 5 stars means “Exceptionally good”. For us it's only 3 stars, which corresponds to "pretty okay".

Review for Ristorante Boccacelli, Berlin We visited Ristorante Boccacelli as a group of six and had a mixed experience. Although the food was delicious and we enjoyed the quality of the dishes, the service left much to be desired. Our table, located next to the kitchen, was uncomfortably hot and crowded. When we politely asked to change it, the waiter refused. Throughout the evening, the waiter seemed impatient and even rude at times, which made us feel unwelcome. When we requested to pack our leftover pizza, the waiter simply dropped the box on the table, unlike our previous visit, where another waiter kindly packed the food for us. On that earlier occasion, we also received complimentary shots at the end of the meal, but this time, the waiter seemed uninterested in offering any hospitality. While the food was excellent, the poor service detracted from the overall experience. I hope the management addresses this, as great food deserves equally great service.

We were traveling as a small group and wanted to grab something to eat before going to a concert. We liked the first impression from the outside and were lucky to get a place straight away. It has to be said that we had two wheelchair users with us. The food was really great (pasta as well as the pizzas) and the service was also great and very warm. We were completely satisfied.

The best Italian in Berlin. I went because of the very good reviews and it was more than worth it. The pizza was very large, thin base and more than plenty of toppings. Price/performance ratio is simply TOP. Very nice and courteous staff. At the end there was a guzi on the house :-). Definitely coming back.

I suggest they spend time trying to improve the service provided to customers rather than spending time trying to erase negative reviews. My opinion is intended to be constructive. Reminder: Arriving at 2:30 p.m., the restaurant is particularly quiet, very few tables are occupied. There are 4 of us and invited to sit at a small table by the waiter. We asked, on two occasions, to be seated on a larger table. This request is refused twice by this same server. An hour later, the restaurant is still quiet. No customers came to occupy the large available tables. Why refuse such a request? Especially since the plates are huge. They don't fit on the table. In the photo, there are 4 of us. Only 3 plates fit on the table. How does the 4th eat? The request was reiterated. It is regrettable that this server does not listen to its customers We won't come back

A while ago i was eating at this place and shared my experience through a review. However, shortly after that, one of the employees approached me on instagram texting me i should re-think my opinion and delete my low grade since it’s affecting many employees/families working at this restaurant (I have a screenshot of that). To make the whole situation even more absurd, my very clear and constructive review was judged by google and has been deleted. Apparently, there are comments that report the same pattern: low graded reviews are being reported and deleted. This cannot be accepted! Customers have the right to share their experiences and opinions. Today, I even went back to the restaurant to explain in person my overall grade (1 star).

Yesterday I was in this restaurant for the first and definitely last time. We had reserved a table and were initially able to eat normally. But when we wanted to order something again, we were told that no further order could be placed because the next customer was waiting. We were supposed to pay and leave - absolutely unprofessional!!!!!!We were not told either when we made the reservation or when we arrived that we could only use the table for 1.5 hours. The evening was completely ruined. You don't treat your guests like that! This is how you lose potential regular guests!

A fantastic restaurant. The pizza is huge and hard to eat. Absolutely delicious and fresh. Tiramisu fantastic. Open kitchen with real fire and noticeable passion. Best of all is the friendly service. All in all really perfect.

The service was by far one of the friendliest I have ever experienced. The staff welcomed us with such a warm and courteous manner that we immediately felt like long-time friends. The food was a true masterpiece - delicious, perfectly prepared and tasted excellent. Each composition was prepared with great care and reflected attention to detail. It was a pleasure for all the senses. What was particularly impressive was how the team made the atmosphere of the restaurant a welcoming and unforgettable experience. I can fully recommend Boccacelli – for anyone who appreciates exceptional cuisine and excellent service.

I loved it! We went to eat pizzas and pasta and everything was delicious! A very Italian atmosphere! The dishes are large and lots of them, the pizzas are big! I had a situation with the restaurant, because, without realizing it, I left my wallet in the restaurant and someone found it and gave it to the waiters, the next day they had kept it for me, the bad thing was that they took my money, at least There was my ID.

Super delicious food. The pizza is the size of a wagon wheel. The service was impeccable and there was also the obligatory “schnapps” on the house. Only the air and temperature inside were stuffy and infinitely warm. But it didn't dampen the mood. Overall, definitely a recommendation.
