Huge and super delicious pizza!

We wanted a pizza, half salami and half Margherita, according to the waiter this was not possible. This always worked at the other 1687 Italian restaurants I've been to. Missed the cooking point for the meat dish. Unfriendly staff.

Bad reviews aren't even published? I've tried it several times, now again... Pizza is so hard that you can hardly cut it and chew it. Baked far too long and the quality is like a frozen pizza, only much more expensive. Can't understand all the positive reviews.

A Schöneberg classic and always good. The food tastes great and the portions are spectacular. The service is very friendly and attentive. In summer we sit on the large outdoor terrace. We'd love to come back.

I recently dined at a fantastic Italian restaurant, and it was an experience that truly transported me to Italy! I started with the beef carpaccio, which was perfectly thin, tender, and bursting with flavor. It was a great start, setting the tone for what was to come. For my main course, I had the spaghetti Bolognese, and it was nothing short of amazing. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the rich, meaty sauce tasted like it had been simmering for hours, just like a traditional Italian nonna would make. Every bite was pure comfort. A special shoutout to Jimmy, my waiter, who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He guided me through the menu with such enthusiasm, making spot-on recommendations that made my meal even better. If you're looking for an authentic Italian dining experience, this place is a must-visit!

Well, that was probably nothing. Service was inattentive, and the base of the pizza was more from the “cardboard box” department. The coating is rather insignificant, but thick. Oh well. Which normal adult would eat such a pizza alone is beyond my imagination. Espresso quite OK.

July 26, 2024 Went there again today, unfortunately I wasn't happy with the service. The tables on the terrace were all very dusty and partly dirty. None of the 3 waiters even thought about cleaning it and I didn't get an ashtray. Only when I asked for one did a waiter give me ice there. The food was good but unfortunately the service staff wasn't quite fit. Even after the meal I wasn't asked whether I was satisfied. It would be great if that changed because it's a nice restaurant.

Large portions but low quality. The red wine was warm and not good. Very noisy place. The waiter decided to serve both the starter and mains at the same time. There are much better options in Berlin

Sat unnoticed at the table for a long time and waited for the menu, the waiter had other things to do... first had a leisurely smoke and when he was finished, had a leisurely chat with an acquaintance... then got up after half an hour and... Gone……as we said goodbye, there were a few rude things called after us….never again!

Generally a good restaurant with fair prices. The pizza was large and very tasty. There is a deduction for the rip-off waiter. Our bill was 41.70 euros. For some reason I had 47.10 euros in my head and without thinking twice I said 53 euros. I expect a waiter to point out to me when I tip so much and ask whether I may have miscalculated. Everything else is unprofessional and borders on rip-off. Reason enough for us not to go there anymore.

We ate there today and I got a season dish - was extremely delicious! Fish was very juicy and the lime sauce was just amazing! I tried fish in many good restaurants, but not always they manage to cook a fish well. We will definitely come back! The pizza of my partner was also tasty 😊

The pizza was huge and very tasty. The staff was friendly and very quick. For lunch there is a pizza for €10. The price is very reasonable and you will definitely be full. You can watch football while you're at the European Championships. I can only recommend it 👍

A very good and authentic Italian place.

Boccaceli is my regular Italian. I come here regularly and enjoy it. The dishes are classic and delicious, the prices are okay, and the service is good too. I just like the atmosphere and the people. There is nothing “special” or unusual, just simple, good Italian cuisine. I always find it nice here.

Price performance is simply utopian. The advertising of the lunch menu for 9.90 only refers to certain dishes...not really obvious. 18€ for a porcini mushroom spaghetti, not aldente...I just don't think it's justified. This is my personal opinion. The service...one waiter is really approachable and particularly nice, the rest don't really say hello...you're only allowed to sit at two tables, even if the place is almost empty. See for yourself, but unfortunately for me the store isn't worth it, except for the big, huge pizza for lunch, if that's included...

Not sure why this restaurant has such a high rating. The food was not worth the money. The service was okish. The waiter forgot something we ordered and then insisted we never ordered it... Which was just a lie and rude. Location is nice though. We were sitting outside.

Food (pizza with eggplant was fresh and enough for my girlfriend and me...cost 16€) / service was a bit stressed (it was football time and he had to work 😉) / but later everything was ok again & my girlfriend was happy again ....he gave me a nightcap...I didn't want to / espresso machine was unfortunately no longer in use! Unfortunately the food was very bad. The cream didn't taste like anything. The noodles were overcooked. And then this price too! We had to call the waiter twice to serve us. On the one hand to bring us the card and on the other hand so that he can take our order. Great place with enough space for a gäng of friends as well as just for a couple having a romantic dinner. Great italian food and super friendly service. Brace yourself because portions are not small! A lot of space outside, prices are moderate. I will come back soon for my next dish I have already selected 🙈😅

The waiter was very greedy for tips. The service was bad and when we tipped him “only €2”, he was offended like a little child and seemed very aggressive. He didn't say goodbye to us either. Not recommended for the prices!!!!

The Italian restaurant is located in the middle of the Nollendorfkiez and offers some seating both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor area is great in summer; larger groups can also find space here. Unfortunately, the vegan selection is rather limited, there is the classic aglio olio, arrabbiata, bruschetta, salad and a main course with stir-fried vegetables and optionally risotto. All dishes tasted very tasty! In terms of price, the restaurant is rather expensive, at least when it comes to the vegan options. The pizzas are huge, unfortunately there are no declared vegan alternatives here. The service was friendly and the food was served very quickly. I live in the neighborhood and I walked past this restaurant multiple times and each time it was full. I checked their reviews and they also looked great. I decided to book a table for a few friends as I expected the food to be exceptional or at least great. The food was disgusting. 18 eur for a lasagna bolognese that barely had any meat in it. It was dry, tasteless and the quality of the cheese was just bad. My friends ordered pizzas (very dry) and a pasta with seafood which was also disgusting 🤮 our waiter was borderline aggressive. I believe the only reason this restaurant has good reviews is that their portions are huge. Will never return here.

I've lived directly opposite for 8 years now - apart from the excessive noise, this restaurant is the definition of regression in gastronomy - I was there when the pizza cost 7.90. today 18eur. Still the same size but the quality is significantly worse - oily, cheap and absolutely no longer suitable "for later". The service has always been very unsympathetic and always extremely greedy - every request/request - no matter how trivial, is treated as an exception and with extra costs. I can really only recommend this place if you're really hungry, everything else is really an unpleasant rip-off. You also delete negative comments including the lawyer. I would be happy to show my proof of payment to support this review

This is definitely the best Italian restaurant in Berlin! The goods are bought fresh every day and everything is prepared every minute. The taste of the dishes is therefore unique ;-) Excellent recommendation

The food was too much cheap peppers in a tomato oil dip, it didn't taste good at all.

Eigentlich ganz nett, aber der junge Mann, der uns bediente, hat sich mächtig verrechnet, was uns leider zu spät auffiel. 2 Salate Boccacelli (für je 20,- Euro eher medium) 3 große Hefeweizen und ein kleines Alkoholfreies 70,- Euro... Da müsste jedes Getränk 7,50 Euro gekostet haben, was ich anzweifeln möchte. Manchmal ist man wie vernagelt, glaubt alles, ohne sich den Beleg zeigen zu lassen und im Nachhinein kam die Erkenntnis. Schade!

Actually it was nice, but the young man who served us made a huge miscalculation, which we unfortunately noticed too late. 2 salads Boccacelli (for 20 euros each rather medium) 3 large hefeweizen and a small non-alcoholic 70 euros... Each drink must have cost 7.50 euros, which I doubt. Sometimes you are stuck in your tracks, believe everything without being shown the evidence and then the realization comes later. A pity!

The food was really tasty but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. We didn't manage to get our pizza and wanted to take it with us. We had to pack the pizza ourselves, sorry, but that's never happened to me before. The only thing missing was that I had to bring the dishes to the kitchen myself. We also had to wait forever for the waiter to pay and the shop wasn't particularly full at the time.

First visit to this neighborhood pizzeria and a disappointment. When we arrived the restaurant was practically empty, with only one table occupied. There were four of us and the waiter sat us at a small table that was more intended for two people. We ordered three pizzas and a roasted vegetable rizotto. When our order arrived we discovered that the plates were far too large for the size of the table. In addition, the vegetable pan arrived without risotto. We therefore asked for a larger neighboring table as the restaurant was mostly empty. The waiter informed us that all tables were reserved. After the arrival of the “risotto” (actually a few grains of rice added to the fried vegetables) we tried to taste our dishes. The pizzas protruded over the table making it difficult to eat as they were balanced on the edge of the table. To be honest the pizzas weren't bad. We left the restaurant without even one of the so-called reserved tables being occupied by guests. Needless to say, the tip was proportional to the quality of service and reception: zero.

Service was good, the staff does their job, and are attempted. The atmosphere is relax and beautiful. The pasta dishes were good, I could trust them to cook parta for me again. The steak tho, it was missing salt. I don't. Like adding salt after, because it's not the same. It was still good, but could be so much better

I can't understand how they can give 5 stars to this restaurant which is light years away from ITALIAN food!! I had seafood linguine, horrible!! Super overcooked pasta dipped in sauce, add defrosted mussels and squid and off you go 🤦🏻‍♂️ My God!! If you have to cook Italian at least do it with dignity!! Not recommended

Really really great Italian cuisine!!! One of the best Italian restaurants I have visited in Germany. Simply top from start to finish! Starter: Burrata - great quality, nice rocket salad and cherry tomatoes on the side Main course: Salad with grilled cheese and Parma ham - light, delicious dressing and a great combination Linguini calamari - simply perfect, linguine al dente, calamari to the point, tomato white wine sauce excellent The waiter was super friendly and attentive. There was even a limoncello shot on the house. Great location and when the weather is nice with relaxed outdoor seating. I will definitely come back! Thanks!

Ich kann es nur noch einmal bestätigen, was andere Gäste schon schrieben, schlechtes Essen und schlechter Service. Pizza Popeye mit altem Spinat, Rigatoni Sorrentia Nudeln waren noch hart und schlechte Soße, Spaghetti Bocca waren in einer mäßigen Tomatentunke mit billigem Käse unter Rucola ohne Würzung vergraben. Fegato Vitello sollte Kalbsleber sein, war eine schlechte Zwiebelsoße mit trocken gebratenem Leber- (Kalb?) Ragout, ungewürzte halbgare grüne Bohnen und etwas Kartoffelpüree auf den Teller geschüttet (24 €), Der Service war schlecht, sind zu 4 Personen an einen kleinen Tisch 80 x 80 plaziert worden. Auf unsere Nachfrage uns an einen größeren Tisch umzusetzen wurde verneint, obwohl die ganze Zeit unserer Anwesenheit zwei große Tische und mehr frei waren. Insgesamt 140 € bezahlt, bezahle ich sehr gern wenn die Speisen, Getränke und der Service stimmen und man Freude hat hier wieder einzukehren. Wir sind nicht wieder Gäste in ihrem Restaurant und empfehlen es auch nicht weiter, schade! Mit Fotos würde ich noch mehr Gäste dazu bringen ihre Gastlichkeit nicht in Anspruch zu nehmen.

We stumbled into the very busy restaurant just as the downpour and hail began and luckily managed to get a table without a reservation. Antipasti plates and spaghetti with burrata were very tasty, the staff was super friendly and at the end my husband was very happy about toasting the house with a limoncello with the waiter. Amusing music and lighting in the toilets by the way. :) It's a shame that we don't come to Berlin more often - great restaurant where we would definitely be regular guests.

We made a reservation for 7 people and were given a table for 6 people, and only set for 6. When we asked to use a table, we were immediately refused and no alternative was offered. Relaxed atmosphere. Pizzas were ok.

Be careful if you are the wrong gender! We wait almost 20 minutes for our order to be taken, then a waiter comes over and asks if we already have a card that is obviously on the table, then he runs past us to the table where a few women are sitting and takes their order , even though they sat down for a long time. Keep your eyes open when choosing your waiter!!! Last time in this restaurant...

When we entered the restaurant we thought it was Italian but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. Obviously they weren't Italian. The pizza I ordered was really... very bad, to put it that way... and as a Neapolitan, it didn't live up to expectations. Personally, I prefer Dr. Oetker frozen pizza that you can buy in the supermarket. It's a shame that our Italian cuisine is speculated about by people who know nothing about our culture and traditions, and it's a shame for the customers who come thinking that this is our cuisine! Because then they say that Italian cuisine is not great, but it is clear that it is not ours! It would perhaps be more appropriate if the owners of these establishments chose to offer dishes from their own culinary traditions. I hope that in the future people will be able to find authentic Italian tastes of our traditional cuisine in truly Italian restaurants.

We definitely waited too long for the food and drinks. In the end drinks were forgotten and again had to point it out to the waiters. The prices are definitely too high for the taste and service! We won't come again and won't recommend it to anyone. There are much better restaurants in this area!

We have been satisfied guests at Boccacelli for years. Unfortunately, the quality of the restaurant has deteriorated so much every time and our last visit was so unpleasant and stressful that we won't be coming again for the time being. Brief explanation for the restaurant manager: We ordered an appetizer platter and asked the waiter to put a little meat on it because two of the three people don't eat meat. He then brought out a platter overloaded with meat with almost nothing else on it. The quality and freshness of the whole thing also left a lot to be desired. There was no cutlery, we had to ask another waiter for it. We had to ask for napkins several times and were given one for 3 people. We had to ask three times for the water we ordered. The waiter was loud, overexcited and seemed intoxicated. Instead of listening, he put on an inappropriate show. Everything we asked him only came after several email inquiries, if at all. In the end we left exhausted. We hope the restaurant returns to its original, good concept and then we'll come back.

Nice restaurant with attentive service and good wine. There were three of us in the restaurant on an early Sunday evening and the friendly staff offered us a nice seat without any problems. We ordered three starters, two pizzas and one spaghetti carbonare for the main course. The starters were absolutely fine (bruscetta and pumpkin soup). The spaghetti carbonare seemed to us to have been made with cream. The pizzas at Boccacelli are very large. We didn't know this before and were a bit overwhelmed. If we had known, one would have been completely sufficient for us. The ingredients on the pizza lacked a bit of originality: blackened olives and tasteless mozzarella do not belong on the ingredients list in an Italian restaurant in my opinion. It was OK, value for money even more than that, but the quality of the food is the focus for us and it was only worth 3 stars for us.

Asparagus dishes... a dream. The potatoes and salmon were also on point. Portions very rich. Special praise to the service. Always polite, unobtrusive and in a good mood. Now one more espresso and the day is beautiful.

Die Spaghetti waren total verkocht und schwammen im Öl, immerhin waren sie nicht versalzen, genau genommen hatten sie gar kein Salz gesehen. Service war aufmerksam und freundlich, aber auf unsere höfliche Kritik reagierte er mit einem Lächeln und Schulterzucken. Fazit: viel Geld für wirklich miserables Essen. Es gibt in Berlin viele andere und erheblich „preiswertere“ Italiener.

We celebrated my son's eighteenth birthday at this charming Italian restaurant, and I'm thrilled with our choice. I opted for the gluten-free seafood pasta, while my husband indulged in the largest pizza he's ever seen, surpassing even those in Rome. The tiramisu, complete with a birthday candle, and the lemoncello rounded off our meal perfectly. Our attentive waiter, Tony, truly made our evening memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant—Tony ensured that our holiday and my son's birthday were truly exceptional. Thank you!

Jesus what an ENORMOUS pizza. I never see such an enormous pizza on my plate. I gave 4 stars just because the waiter should have informed us that pizzas are XXL, we wouldn't order 2!
