The best Italian in Berlin. I went because of the very good reviews and it was more than worth it. The pizza was very large, thin base and more than plenty of toppings. Price/performance ratio is simply TOP. Very nice and courteous staff. At the end there was a guzi on the house :-). Definitely coming back.

We have visited there for a couple of times every 6 years. It's a wonderful place. Very good food and such lovely people, who work there.

I suggest they spend time trying to improve the service provided to customers rather than spending time trying to erase negative reviews. My opinion is intended to be constructive. Reminder: Arriving at 2:30 p.m., the restaurant is particularly quiet, very few tables are occupied. There are 4 of us and invited to sit at a small table by the waiter. We asked, on two occasions, to be seated on a larger table. This request is refused twice by this same server. An hour later, the restaurant is still quiet. No customers came to occupy the large available tables. Why refuse such a request? Especially since the plates are huge. They don't fit on the table. In the photo, there are 4 of us. Only 3 plates fit on the table. How does the 4th eat? The request was reiterated. It is regrettable that this server does not listen to its customers We won't come back

A while ago i was eating at this place and shared my experience through a review. However, shortly after that, one of the employees approached me on instagram texting me i should re-think my opinion and delete my low grade since it’s affecting many employees/families working at this restaurant (I have a screenshot of that). To make the whole situation even more absurd, my very clear and constructive review was judged by google and has been deleted. Apparently, there are comments that report the same pattern: low graded reviews are being reported and deleted. This cannot be accepted! Customers have the right to share their experiences and opinions. Today, I even went back to the restaurant to explain in person my overall grade (1 star).

Small Italian restaurant that immediately transports you to the south with its flair.

Yesterday I was in this restaurant for the first and definitely last time. We had reserved a table and were initially able to eat normally. But when we wanted to order something again, we were told that no further order could be placed because the next customer was waiting. We were supposed to pay and leave - absolutely unprofessional!!!!!!We were not told either when we made the reservation or when we arrived that we could only use the table for 1.5 hours. The evening was completely ruined. You don't treat your guests like that! This is how you lose potential regular guests!

A fantastic restaurant. The pizza is huge and hard to eat. Absolutely delicious and fresh. Tiramisu fantastic. Open kitchen with real fire and noticeable passion. Best of all is the friendly service. All in all really perfect.

Date: November 7, 2024 My visit to the Boccacelli restaurant on Winterfeldtplatz in Berlin was an exceptionally positive experience. The service was by far one of the friendliest I have ever experienced. The staff welcomed us with such a warm and courteous manner that we immediately felt like long-time friends. The food was a true masterpiece - delicious, perfectly prepared and tasted excellent. Each composition was prepared with great care and reflected attention to detail. It was a pleasure for all the senses. What was particularly impressive was how the team made the atmosphere of the restaurant a welcoming and unforgettable experience. I can fully recommend Boccacelli – for anyone who appreciates exceptional cuisine and excellent service.

The food is great. Staff very friendly but you have to wait for drinks to be replenished. If the room is full, it is very loud and normal conversation is not possible. The pizzas are huge.

I loved it! We went to eat pizzas and pasta and everything was delicious! A very Italian atmosphere! The dishes are large and lots of them, the pizzas are big! I had a situation with the restaurant, because, without realizing it, I left my wallet in the restaurant and someone found it and gave it to the waiters, the next day they had kept it for me, the bad thing was that they took my money, at least There was my ID.

Super delicious food. The pizza is the size of a wagon wheel. The service was impeccable and there was also the obligatory “schnapps” on the house. Only the air and temperature inside were stuffy and infinitely warm. But it didn't dampen the mood. Overall, definitely a recommendation.

The waiter was very unpleasant and rude. We complained about the cramped table, at which 4 people could not enjoy their lunch. The restaurant was almost empty and we were told that we could not sit at a larger table due to the arrival of a "large" group of people who in the end never came. No one cares about our comfort or satisfaction, because during lunch and after we made requests and criticisms several times. We are very suspicious of the bill because it did not include all the meals. When we asked for an invoice to be issued, we were told to leave an e-mail and that they send it to us electronically?!?! The Boccacelli restaurant on Winterfeldtplatz really surprised me and gave me a touch of Italy in the middle of Berlin. The charming location right on the side of the road definitely adds to the cozy atmosphere - you almost feel like you're in a small square in Italy. The beginning was promising: the waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the entire experience pleasant from the start. Our aperitif, an Aperol Spritz, was wonderfully refreshing and perfectly prepared. There were also olives that tasted as if they had been freshly picked straight from grandma's olive garden - a small but nice touch that got us in the mood for the meal to come. Then came the main course: We decided on pizzas, including a Quattro Formaggi. What was particularly pleasing was that we were allowed to make an extra request, even though the waiter said this wasn't normally possible. The result was half a bruschetta pizza and the other half with pepperoni - a very individual and delicious creation. The pizzas came surprisingly quickly and were huge! The Quattro Formaggi was generously covered in cheese, which I particularly liked. The second pizza offered a successful balance between lots of vegetables and the hearty bruschetta half - a great mix of healthy and tasty. All in all it was a really successful experience. We went home with full and satisfied stomachs and I can only warmly recommend the Boccacelli restaurant. The combination of friendly service, authentic food and the cozy atmosphere makes it a real insider tip for anyone who wants to experience Italian flair in Berlin.

Bad reviews aren't even published? I've tried it several times, now again... Pizza is so hard that you can hardly cut it and chew it. Baked far too long and the quality is like a frozen pizza, only much more expensive. Can't understand all the positive reviews.

I recently dined at a fantastic Italian restaurant, and it was an experience that truly transported me to Italy! Well, that was probably nothing. Service was inattentive, and the base of the pizza was more from the “cardboard box” department. The coating is rather insignificant, but thick. Oh well. Which normal adult would eat such a pizza alone is beyond my imagination. Espresso quite OK.

July 26, 2024 Went there again today, unfortunately I wasn't happy with the service. The tables on the terrace were all very dusty and partly dirty. None of the 3 waiters even thought about cleaning it and I didn't get an ashtray. Only when I asked for one did a waiter give me ice there. The food was good but unfortunately the service staff wasn't quite fit. Even after the meal I wasn't asked whether I was satisfied. It would be great if that changed because it's a nice restaurant.

Sat unnoticed at the table for a long time and waited for the menu, the waiter had other things to do... first had a leisurely smoke and when he was finished, had a leisurely chat with an acquaintance... then got up after half an hour and... Gone……as we said goodbye, there were a few rude things called after us….never again!

Generally a good restaurant with fair prices. The pizza was large and very tasty. There is a deduction for the rip-off waiter. Our bill was 41.70 euros. For some reason I had 47.10 euros in my head and without thinking twice I said 53 euros. I expect a waiter to point out to me when I tip so much and ask whether I may have miscalculated. Everything else is unprofessional and borders on rip-off. Reason enough for us not to go there anymore.

We ate there today and I got a season dish - was extremely delicious! Fish was very juicy and the lime sauce was just amazing! I tried fish in many good restaurants, but not always they manage to cook a fish well. We will definitely come back! The pizza of my partner was also tasty 😊

The pizza was huge and very tasty. The staff was friendly and very quick. For lunch there is a pizza for €10. The price is very reasonable and you will definitely be full. You can watch football while you're at the European Championships. I can only recommend it 👍

A very good and authentic Italian place.

Boccaceli is my regular Italian. I come here regularly and enjoy it. The dishes are classic and delicious, the prices are okay, and the service is good too. I just like the atmosphere and the people. There is nothing “special” or unusual, just simple, good Italian cuisine. I always find it nice here.

If you plan 2 hours, the restaurant is probably worth it is great to be forgotten

Price performance is simply utopian. The advertising of the lunch menu for 9.90 only refers to certain dishes...not really obvious. 18€ for a porcini mushroom spaghetti, not aldente...I just don't think it's justified. This is my personal opinion. The service...one waiter is really approachable and particularly nice, the rest don't really say hello...you're only allowed to sit at two tables, even if the place is almost empty. See for yourself, but unfortunately for me the store isn't worth it, except for the big, huge pizza for lunch, if that's included...

Not sure why this restaurant has such a high rating. The food was not worth the money. The service was okish. The waiter forgot something we ordered and then insisted we never ordered it... Which was just a lie and rude. Location is nice though. We were sitting outside.

Unfortunately the food was very bad. The cream didn't taste like anything. The noodles were overcooked. And then this price too! We had to call the waiter twice to serve us. On the one hand to bring us the card and on the other hand so that he can take our order. The Italian restaurant is located in the middle of the Nollendorfkiez and offers some seating both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor area is great in summer; larger groups can also find space here. Unfortunately, the vegan selection is rather limited, there is the classic aglio olio, arrabbiata, bruschetta, salad and a main course with stir-fried vegetables and optionally risotto. All dishes tasted very tasty! In terms of price, the restaurant is rather expensive, at least when it comes to the vegan options. The pizzas are huge, unfortunately there are no declared vegan alternatives here. The service was friendly and the food was served very quickly. I live in the neighborhood and I walked past this restaurant multiple times and each time it was full. I checked their reviews and they also looked great. I decided to book a table for a few friends as I expected the food to be exceptional or at least great. The food was disgusting. 18 eur for a lasagna bolognese that barely had any meat in it. It was dry, tasteless and the quality of the cheese was just bad. My friends ordered pizzas (very dry) and a pasta with seafood which was also disgusting 🤮 our waiter was borderline aggressive. I believe the only reason this restaurant has good reviews is that their portions are huge. Will never return here.

I've lived directly opposite for 8 years now - apart from the excessive noise, this restaurant is the definition of regression in gastronomy - I was there when the pizza cost 7.90. today 18eur. Still the same size but the quality is significantly worse - oily, cheap and absolutely no longer suitable "for later". The service has always been very unsympathetic and always extremely greedy - every request/request - no matter how trivial, is treated as an exception and with extra costs. I can really only recommend this place if you're really hungry, everything else is really an unpleasant rip-off. You also delete negative comments including the lawyer. I would be happy to show my proof of payment to support this review

Eigentlich ganz nett, aber der junge Mann, der uns bediente, hat sich mächtig verrechnet, was uns leider zu spät auffiel. 2 Salate Boccacelli (für je 20,- Euro eher medium) 3 große Hefeweizen und ein kleines Alkoholfreies 70,- Euro... Da müsste jedes Getränk 7,50 Euro gekostet haben, was ich anzweifeln möchte. Manchmal ist man wie vernagelt, glaubt alles, ohne sich den Beleg zeigen zu lassen und im Nachhinein kam die Erkenntnis. Schade!

Actually it was nice, but the young man who served us made a huge miscalculation, which we unfortunately noticed too late. 2 salads Boccacelli (for 20 euros each rather medium) 3 large hefeweizen and a small non-alcoholic 70 euros... Each drink must have cost 7.50 euros, which I doubt. Sometimes you are stuck in your tracks, believe everything without being shown the evidence and then the realization comes later. A pity!
