Bobby Reich in Hamburg

Bei schönsten goldenen Oktobersonnenschein machten wir einen Spaziergang an der Außenalster. Unterwegs freuten wir uns auf eine Stärkung bei Bobby Reich. Aus der Ferne sahen wir schon Gäste auf der Terrasse am Wasser sitzen. Wir bekamen auch sofort einen Tisch. Leider mußten wir sehr lange warten bis wir bedient wurden. Es war nur ein Kellner unterwegs. Wir entschieden uns für das Tagesangebot mit dem Oktoberfestbier und Rinderleber mit Kartoffelpüree und Apfelmus. Meine Frau orderte sich einen Caesars Salat. Die Leber mit Pü war soweit OK, aber der Caesars Salat hatte nichts mit Caesars Salat zu tun. Er war zwar frisch und knackig, aber das Dressing war weit entfernt vom Original und schmeckte nach nichts. Der Parmesan hatte einen eigentümlichen Geschmack. Der Service war so überfordert, dass er mir anstatt der Rechnung erneut das Lebergericht servierte. Uns hat es übethaupt nicht gefallen.

Entsetzlich unfreundlicher alter Mann auf dem Bootssteg. Leider kann er wohl nur mit seiner Altersgruppe etwas anfangen. Eine solch schlechtes Benehmen gepaart mit Unfreundlichkeit habe ich tatsächlich noch nie erlebt. Hier ist nur die Alster freundlich

We had pre-booked a table for 6 people. Unfortunately we were served very poorly. Ordering and the time until the food arrived - everything took an unreasonably long time, more than an hour. So it was virtually impossible to reorder drinks or dessert. There were far too few waiters on duty. What was really unpleasant, however, was that these overwhelmed waiters were extremely harshly reprimanded and ordered around by a boss (?) sitting in an armchair. You could tell that the waiters were nervous and unsettled. The food was okay and the view of the Alster is just great. That has to be said in fairness.

Relaxed sundowner on the Alster with the best house sounds! Price-performance is upscale, as a 0.15l white wine with ice cubes costs €7. We only had an after-work drink and didn't eat anything. Therefore only a rating for ambience and service.

An enchanting place with a direct view of the Alster. Our plan was to have a meal there at lunchtime. Arrive at 12.30 p.m., give up our meal request at 1 p.m. Because there were disagreements in the kitchen, the meal was served at 3:30 p.m. The Mattjes with beans and card tasted excellent, but the waiting time was unreasonable.

Zu wenig Personal , Ausstattung sehr in die Jahre gekommen und nicht mehr ansprechend , dreckige alte Tischdecken draußen und verschimmelte und rostige Sonnenschirme. Preise viel zu überteuert! Die Toilettenfrau war sehr unverschämt, habeb gezahlt obwohl wir etwas verzehrt haben. Außerdem wollte sie das Geld schon bevor wir die Toilette überhaupt benutzt haben. Absolutes no go !

Really unfriendly reception. On the Internet it says boat rental from 10:00 a.m. and a reservation in advance is not possible.. Then you arrive here at 10:30 a.m. and they just say... no staff and rental only from 11 a.m.. With so little occupancy in the restaurant, you can this should also be done by the staff!? But no, they say to us: you can go somewhere else... This will be my first and last time here.

I just called this venue to get information. The guys attending me, has such an attitude. Typical german rudeness. 1 star for this phone service.

A drink, a meatball roll for example and lying in a deck chair on the jetty. Nice people around you, it feels like a vacation. Just try it out yourself. It's worth it.

Delicious crab bread, beautiful rustic atmosphere with lots of sailing boats, view of the Alster. Very nice and courteous staff.

The restaurant was full. Nevertheless, the waiter didn't let it bother him. We'd love to come back.

Worst service ever and am definitely never coming again

A cold drink on the jetty in the sun. That was the plan and that was initially possible. Really nice location. But as soon as the boss (?) walks past you, your good mood is quickly over. Our two-year-old daughter is not allowed to sit on the chairs. When I ask why, I get a mushy “Because I say so!” Back. The guy also exudes a negativity that is hard to believe. He didn't walk past the tables without making a stupid comment. It could be really nice here. But the behavior makes it impossible to feel comfortable. Not recommendable.

Incredibly rude staff. Children are not allowed to sit on chairs. They make everything dirty. In the end the child was too loud... I've never experienced anything like that before. Just sad...

It quickly becomes clear that this is a place for the nouveau riche. I was there with two friends. We queued decently to order drinks. A group of four nouveau riche girls stood in front of us and thought about what they would take for what felt like 20 minutes. A lá we are something better (as the newly rich behave). When it was our turn, the waitress filled the fridge even though there were still enough drinks and didn't really take our order. You are treated very superficially here - an ideal place for the nouveau riche.

I had the dubious pleasure of visiting this establishment today and would like to share my experience to save others from a similar disappointment. The treatment of us as customers was not only inappropriate, but simply disrespectful. We had hoped to have a pleasant day on the jetty, but instead we were stared at as if we were a fairground curiosity. What was particularly disturbing was the intrusive look of an overweight man who blatantly stared at us. We don't know his role. He didn't even explain himself. As if that wasn't enough, we were also warned by the staff behind the counter that we should be careful not to stain the loungers with my son's make-up. This comment was not only unnecessary, but also insulting. Perhaps one should consider purchasing furniture that is appropriate for the conditions and use of such a place, rather than blaming guests for any perceived damage. In summary, I can only say that such anti-social behavior towards guests is absolutely unacceptable. I strongly recommend rethinking how you deal with guests and purchasing appropriate equipment that meets the requirements of such an operation. Until then I will avoid this place and can only advise others to do the same.

The waiters are very very rude and they don’t have any customer care. The view is the only good thing 😞

Great location! Everything was perfect. A great place to unwind!

Once and never again!! We (two heavily pregnant women!!) actually had the idea of ​​spending the afternoon in the Bobby Reich in the best weather. With a cold drink in the Almdudler deck chair... completely relaxed... We didn't know anything about all the unspoken rules of this store. 1. You can only eat ice cream while standing or sitting on the beer crates (here you will be insulted if you approach: “Don't put ice cream on the chairs!!!”) The bartender then explained to me in a much nicer tone that they Chairs are new and the chocolate stains come out so badly. (Smoking is allowed though... burn marks are of course much easier to get out 🤔) 2. You are not allowed to touch the deck chairs barefoot (“well, I learned at home that you leave your feet on the floor..blablabla”). 3. There appears to be a time limit for enjoying a drink. After 1.5 hours, 1 ice cream and 4 paid (not cheap) drinks, the boss came to us very rudely for the third time (!!) and asked if we “wanted to screw him over” because we had been “sucking on a bottle” for so long. . I really thought that next he would ban the two pregnant girls who just wanted to enjoy the sun. I have no idea how the store can survive with such an unfriendly boss (if that's what he is?!). Maybe from his own beer consumption, which he shares with his friends. He will probably also tell them to drink faster so that his cash register rings. It's unbelievable how much negativity a single person can radiate. Something must have gone wrong in life. God bless him!

Very nice atmosphere, we wanted to pay for our drinks with the card at the jetty. This was not possible, it is not possible in this day and age, so there is room for improvement in this matter. Everything went well with the boat. Unfortunately we didn't eat.

We were there for breakfast and unfortunately we cannot recommend it. The brown bread was completely dried out, packaged cheap jam and honey. The service was completely overwhelmed and also rude and unfriendly. The only nice thing was the location.

Parece que hay dos razones comunes por las que este lugar tiene una mala calificación de Trip Advisor, solo una de las cuales coincide con mi experiencia: la comida, que no experimenté, y el propietario del alquiler de barcos, cuya sociopatía hice. El hombre exigió a mis hijos que no se sentaran en sus tumbonas baratas para comer su helado caro y a pesar de regresar cansado de un alquiler de tres horas de su barco. Luego me empujó agresivamente fuera del camino mientras intentaba pagar en efectivo por el placer de pagarles, ya que su sistema de pago con tarjeta anunciado no funcionaba y regresé de caminar un kilómetro más o menos a mi automóvil para recuperar algo de dinero viejo. No se ofrecen disculpas. Finalmente salió corriendo a ladrar en un lenguaje ininteligible y agresivo que mi hijo de seis años quitara sus pies descalzos de la bendita silla, luego, no contento con asustarlo, procedió a agarrar su pierna para jalársela. En ese momento seguí al "caballero" que estaba dentro para preguntar por la razón o la idoneidad de este comportamiento. Él se negó a disculparse o incluso darme su nombre (una bandera roja obvia, aunque en realidad creo que este tipo lo hizo por arrogancia fuera de lugar en lugar de cualquier culpa). Lo que diré antes de aprobar es que esto podría y quizás debería haber sido un asunto policial, pero en aras de no contaminar nuestros, por lo demás, encantadores días en Hamburgo dejamos pasar las cosas. Que eso sea una advertencia adecuada antes de que pienses en poner más dinero en los bolsillos de este tipo y también quizás te preguntes por qué alguien como este continúa poniéndose frente a la clientela que claramente desprecia. Absoluta escoria.

A wonderful place to let the wind and the hustle and bustle blow around your ears when the weather is good. Really nice atmosphere with a great view of the Alster down to the city center.

The terrace on the jetty offers a wonderful view over the Outer Alster. The service is good. The food was solid but a bit unimaginative. Prices reasonable.

Here we got stranded by chance in the best weather and took a seat on the jetty. The service built us a nice place. Then we had the best view of the water with cool drinks. It couldn't have been better, great place with boat rentals and drinks of all kinds. Pure sun on the water, a parasol or two would have been helpful here. Top place on the Alster

A fantastically beautiful place in the heart of Hamburg. As soon as you go down the few steps, you find yourself in a great, elegant restaurant with a view of one of the most beautiful parts of the Alster. You immediately feel at home here. The staff is friendly and top. The food is of good quality, in appearance and taste. This is where you go if you like good food and nice people. It was a pleasure 😎👍🏻

According to the website it should open at 10. We were there at 11, no one at the boat rental. In the restaurant no one knows whether someone will come and open the door, and when you call there is no useful answer. We gave up after about 30 minutes, and in that time you missed a good 20 customers.

The location is of course great, but if you know the store from the 1980s you don't need to get used to it, absolute standstill... if you like it... The last time I ate coffee from the vending machine, cake from the freezer and such simple scoops of ice cream was in the 70s. It's nice outside when the weather is good, but there are plenty of alternatives.

Without words. We got half-raw poultry cordon bleu on our plate. When we pointed this out, the waiter apologized and took the plates away: 'Get them new'. Okay, that's fine. When my friend and I had exactly the same pieces of meat on our plate, I was speechless. Throwing returned meat into the fryer a second time should alert the food inspector. Incomprehensible.

Everything was okay. But what's not possible is that you can't pay by card outside. In the restaurant itself only from 20 euros. A clear no go!

The view is great. Otherwise, I noticed two scenes that won't make me come back: 1. There's an employee walking around outside the boat rental who claims kayakers are ramming the sailing boats and is trying to get something (compensation?) out of it for himself. I looked at it for 15 minutes, he tried the same stitch 3 times. 2. I observed how the waiters were treated by the boss: like dirt. No wonder they are always looking for staff there.

Prices were more expensive than usual and the staff was rude. The restaurant smelled like guli, but you also have to admit that the location is unique in Hamburg. A pity!

The view is quite nice, provided the weather is good...but that's it. The tables are set with Grandma's old tea towels, the service is "always trying", the way they work there, that's how I would like to go on holiday. But the killer thing is the prices: you feel like you've been transported straight to Munich to the "Tambosi" at the Feldherrenhalle (visitors to this tourist trap know what I mean). NEPP in its purest form! There's no other way I can explain the outrageous prices. €7.30 FOR A SPADE! €9.00 for an Aperol Sprizz! My wife (unfortunately) also typed. No thank you. Goodbye, farewell and amen!

Die Tische mit Omas alten Geschirrtüchern gedeckt, der Service "stets bemüht", so, wie dort gearbeitet wird, so möchte ich mal Urlaub machen. Der Oberhammer aber sind die Preise: Da fühlt man sich direkt nach München ins "Tambosi" an der Feldherrenhalle versetzt (Besucher dieser Tourifalle wissen, was ich meine). NEPP in Reinkultur! Anders kann ich mir die unverschämten Preise niocht erklären. € 7,30 FÜR EIN SPATEN! € 9,00 für einen Aperol Sprizz! Meine Frau hat (leider) auch noch getippt. Danke, aber nein danke. One of the most beautiful, atmospheric cafes on the Alster, not because of the particularly beautiful furnishings, but because of the fantastic view. Service good. The food is relatively cheap, but extremely mediocre and bland. Everyone in Hamburg will disagree that “THESE” are “traditional Hamburg fish dishes”. The waiter didn't even ask if the food was good - he asked if it was "okay". Unfortunately only recommended for a coffee or drink.

We enjoyed the beautiful day by the water yesterday and received great service from our new colleague. Class! The Lillet was a refreshing accompaniment to our food. Many thanks to the bar. We fully understand that there were delays. It was incredibly well attended at Bobby Reich's. But with such a wonderful view, you're happy to wait. I would not recommend this store, very unpleasant service, which is rude, takes a long time and is disrespectful to young people. When it came time to pay, the bill was thrown onto the table and when I asked whether separate payments were possible, the answer was “can’t you sort it out between yourselves!” in a rude tone. The food was cold and we waited 30 minutes for the food (portion of fries) and another 5 minutes more for drinks. Overall, this store is not recommended!

Was there for breakfast. Service was good, as was the ambience. Breakfast was bacon and eggs. A slice of bagged bread from the supermarket, half-cooked bacon and three surprisingly dry and cold fried eggs. How someone could prepare such a simple meal in such a careless manner is a mystery to me.

If the wrong people are working in the wrong place, even the most beautiful view can be spoiled. After we were allowed to buy ice cream for our children and additional drinks for a larger group, a short time later we received an announcement from the ice cream seller, who was probably also the boss, that the children had to please get off the loungers and sit on beer crates should set. In addition to being generally unfriendly to children, the background is probably the fear that the loungers, which are already relatively filthy, will become even more dirty. At first we all thought it was a joke, but unfortunately it wasn't. The crowning glory was when a two-year-old was no longer even allowed to sit on a lounger on his mother's lap (without ice cream). In order to avoid such situations in the future, please, dear operator of this incredibly beautiful place, hang a sign at the entrance stating that children are not welcome or hire staff who have at least a little empathy and tact.

I have a lot of understanding for the lack of service staff and that people here feel that they have to make compromises because of the prospect. I was able to order 30 minutes after arrival. People who got there after me and ordered AFTER me were told that the daily special was running out. I asked if this affected me too. No, I would get my food. They got their food. I was then told more than 60 minutes after arrival that there was nothing left. Instead of professional treatment and alternative, brazen dismissal and lies. I've already held celebrations there, but something like that doesn't work. Sorry.

The prices for drinks have skyrocketed so much that we immediately left our great spot on the terrace with a breathtaking view of the Alster. B. Alsterwasser 0.5 = €7.10, Cola Zero 0.2 = €4.80! ! ! Two toilet attendants strictly guarded the toilets so that no one could enter without paying 50 cents.... Unbelievable.

Nice place for a drink by the jetty in summer. Big minus that you can't pay with an EC card, nowadays and with the prices it's a no-go. No bank nearby. Otherwise great.

Bobby Reich is an institution. Apart from that, it's a nice place to sit almost on the jetty right on the Outer Alster and have a good time. Good menu, everything tasty and nicely prepared, not overpriced and still a bit pleasantly old-fashioned..."outside only jugs"! Of course there are also Aperol and Latte Macchiato. A wonderful place in Hamburg on a Sunday afternoon in the sun!

Cute restaurant, very attentive staff. We spent a nice evening there with a few people. Entrance is not immediately obvious, but the ambience is absolutely fine. The furniture could be modernized, but is passable. Food was very good, had different dishes, portions were sufficient.

Le seul point positif est la vue sur le lac. service avec très peu d'enthousiaseme, bouffe déguelasse. Les pommes de terres rissolés baignaient encore dans l'uile d'olive dans le plat. La salade datait de la veille ou l'avant-veille. la viande nageait dans une sauce dans mon assiette. Never again !

Ich war mit einer Bekannten dort. Wenig besucht, da Regen. Der Kellner " bocklos" keine Lust auf Konservation . Ich habe einen frischen Orangensaft bestellt ... gibt es jetzt nicht .. also was Anderes Etwas später habe ich wahr genommen, dass Orangen ausgepresst wurden. Nach meiner Anfrage beim Barkeeper, war der frische Orangensaft stets erhältlich. F0hle mich als Gast nicht respektiert bzw verarscht. ☹

Wenn ein gestresster Kelner ankommt, und hektisch fragt was mach haben möchte, wird einem belehrt nicht richtig in die Karte geschaut zu haben! Waffel nur mit einer Kugel Eis ist die "Vollausstattung" und so möchte der Kellner es hören! Nicht anders!! Der Apfelstrudel ist voll getränkt in Vanillesauce, und sowie das Ricotta wurde ebenfalls in Vanillesauce eingetränkt. Wer also Vanille in in jedem Nachtisch mag, sollte dort hin, vielleicht war auch der Koch in Vanille verliebt, oder sie musste einfach weg. Danke Bobby, aber wir kommen bestimmt nicht wieder!

Ein Traditionshaus (Gründung 1883) am selben Platz, das noch alte Erinnerungen weckt. Früher etwas beschaulicher aber immer noch eine Restauration mit herrlichem Blick auf die Aussenalster und die Boote. In sehr exponierte Lage zwischen Zulauf des Alsterflusses und dem Rondeelteich nördlich der Aussenalster. Direkt an der Krugkoppelbrücke und dem gleichnamigen Anleger der Alsterdampfer und daher mit denen auch sehr gut zu erreichen.

Die Lage von dem Restaurant ist super, jedoch ist noch deutlich Potenzial. Das Essen ist wirklich nichts besonderes. Man wartet lange auf die Bedienung, da diese mit Stift+Zettel arbeitet und unterbesetzt ist. Innen sieht das Restaurant überhaupt nicht einladend aus.

Wir haben im Sommer ein Ruderboot ausgeliehen und wurden bei der Hälfte der Fahrt auf der Außenalster von einem Gewitter mit Blitz und Donner überrascht. Als wir wegen das Unwetters mit etwas Verspätung am Bootssteg ankamen, waren wir bis auf die Unterhosen durchnässt und völlig unterkühlt. Die Angestellte hat sich jedoch nur dafür interessiert uns eine Nachzahlung für das Boot abzuverlangen, weil wir ein paar Minuten Verspätung hatten. Als wir dann gefragt haben, ob wir vielleicht ein Handtuch haben könnten, um uns Abtrocknen zu können. Wir wurden barsch abgewiesen... Letztlich bin ich auf dem Gelände nebenan ins Restaurant auf die Toilette gegangen (Benutzungsgebühr 0,50 €) und wollte mir dort meine Haare unter dem Händetrockner föhnen. Die Toilettenfrau hat mich beschimpft, dass sowas nicht erlaubt wäre sich hier die Haare zu trocknen. Als ich mir ihr diskutiert habe, hat sie gleich den Besitzer geholt... Mir ist natürlich bewusst, dass ich mich vor dem Ausleihen des Bootes hätte erkundigen können, ob es eventuell ein Gewitter gibt. Nichtsdestotrotz sehe ich auch beim Bootsverleiher eine gewisse Mitverantwortung. Meiner Meinung nach, sollte er aus Sicherheitsgründen vor einem heranziehenden Unwetter keine Boote mehr ausleihen. Als ich mit ihm darüber reden wollte, ist die Situation eskaliert. Er hat uns übelst beschimpft und mit wüsten Beleidigungen davon gejagt, wir sollten uns hier nicht wieder blicken lassen. Das ist wirklich der Gipfel der Unverschämtheit und Unfreundlichkeit.

Hier sitzt man sehr schön mit Blick auf die Alster. Kaffee, Kakao und Kuchen waren sehr gut. Die Bedienung äußerst freundlich

Wirklich schöner Ort, mein Gericht war sehr gut. Getränke etwas teurer, aber irgendwie muss sich der Betreiber ja das Ambiente auch bezahlen lassen. Ein kleiner Preis für die schöne Aussicht

Habe meinem 70 sten Geburtstag mit einem Brunch-Empfang mit ca. 30 Personen (bis 17 Uhr) bei Bobby-Reich gefeiert. Tolle Vorbereitung,Begleitung und Realisierung durch den Chef des Hauses. Sehr leckeres Brunch-Buffet , von allen Gästen gelobte Spitzen-Location "Mehr HAMBURG geht nicht*...... Was will ich/man mehr? Herr Sämann-Reich hat mir einen wunderbares Fest beschert - danke dafür!!!!

Ich habe am Sonntag, den 10.September, meinen 70 sten Geburtstag mit gut 30 Personen bei Bobby Reich gefeiert. Wir hatten Glück, die Sonne schien und so konnten wir den separaten Clubraum und die für uns reservierten Außenplätze voll nutzen. Von ausnahmslos allen Gästen wurde die tolle Location hervorgehoben und in den höchsten Tönen gelobt. Der Blick über die Alster von hier aus ist absolut einzigartig.Mehr HAMBURG geht nicht. Schon die Vorbereitung auf die Feier war total zugewandt und vom Chef persönlich begleitet. Wir hatten alle Freiheiten bei der Ausgestaltung der Feier. Die Realisierung aller persönlichen Wünsche klappte perfekt. Das vielfältige Brunch-Buffet war sehr lecker. Die Betreuung während der Feier war sehr aufmerksam und auch hier Chefsache.Alle Kellner waren aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Alles hat sehr zuverlässig geklappt und die Preise waren fair. Insgesamt war das eine sehr runde sehr hamburgische Sache. Ich danke Herrn Sämann-Reich und seiner Mannschaft sehr für diese schöne Feier.

Wirklich wieder sowas von gemütlich dort. Bei sehr schönem Wetter mit Freunden dort Essen gegangen. War sehr gut zu erreichen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Essen war sehr gut. Preis Leistung stimmt. Noch nen Absacker genommen und die Stimmung mit direktem Blick über die Alster genossen. Wirklich zu empfehlen.
