Blue Train in Lübbenau/Spreewald

Two cappuccinos for €7.80 were undrinkable (lukewarm mush without foam). After a cautious complaint, we were served the same mush with some foam again. Unfriendly and surly staff.

A wonderful old pub/restaurant in a very refined atmosphere... Located in the heart of the Spreewald forest... Surrounded by waterways... Beautiful hikes are possible in both summer and winter... Boat trips to Lübbensau and Lehde are even available during the winter months... Therefore, highly recommended!

I ordered two portions of fried noodles with chicken, no vegetables, but with extra meat. I had to pay more, only to find out at home that "extra meat" simply meant old meat, anything at all, chopped up and thrown in. Doner meat in Asian noodles??? + some unidentifiable meat??? Disgusting!!! You're done with me, and with everyone who goes there: Always keep a close eye on things!!!! Or better yet, don't go back.

It's truly wonderful to have, by chance after so many years, found a restaurant that can simply be described as perfect. The service is exemplary in every respect, the food is delicious and beautifully presented. The excellent value for money is the crowning glory. We often visit the Spreewald region, and this place will now be our regular stop.

The food is great, the service is fast and attentive, and the atmosphere is lovely. We go there often.
