Blossersberger Keller in Viechtach

I can only recommend, nice host, friendly service. The portions aren't the largest, but they taste wonderful!

After a long time we were back in the Blossersberger Keller: The food has become even better, very good soups, a fine selection of main courses and salads. Service perfect, even though there was a lot going on. And we also had a very nice chat with the usher. That's how hospitality works, we'd love to come back!

We have nothing to complain about. The food was very good and we were looked after very nicely. We'd love to come back next time.

Me and my friends were passing through while on tour from America and have been to dozens of restaurants in Europe over the past few weeks. Blosserberger Keller has some of the best food, the best atmosphere and the kindest people we have experienced. Thank you for the wonderful meal, the warm spirit and the lecker schnapps!

We really had a great visit here! There were four of us with two relatively large dogs and a baby. Our two dogs were welcome and were each given a bowl of water. A high chair was provided for our baby. The food was fantastic, the waiter was super nice and accommodating. The only thing I have to note is that you should probably not place people with dogs directly at the entrance, but rather somewhere in a corner. Dogs tend to defend their space and bark at everything that comes in the door. All in all, we really enjoyed staying here!

I get the Viennese style schnitzel with fries at every snack bar, but I don't expect it to be any different there. Many of the fries had black spots and the ketchup and mayo came in pre-packaged foil bags, like at a diner.

First of all, thanks to our host René, who, despite the stress in the restaurant, sat us at a table far away from the hustle and bustle :). The food was fantastic! Both the vegetarian salad and the schnitzel were really on the top shelf in terms of taste. The beer also tasted great. We will be happy to come here again on our next vacation in the Bavarian Forest. See you soon!

There were two of us and we were brought to a seat quite quickly, without a reservation. The drinks were also brought to the table very quickly. The menu is a pleasant size and there were two additional daily specials. The food is plentiful, the salad was very fresh and has a very good dressing. The pike perch fillet was fried to perfection and the mashed potatoes with celery were very tasty. The hunter's roast was very tender and also tasted great. The portions are really big and sufficient. The toilets were very clean, the visit was worth it and I would happily recommend it to others. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the senior also came to the table for a relaxed, nice chat and you feel very welcome.

This restaurant serves one of the best curry sausages I've tasted so far. The turkey steak with salad is also absolutely excellent and a culinary highlight. The quality of the food is consistently impressive. The service is attentive and extremely friendly, so you immediately feel at home. Auch unsere Hunde wurden freundlich aufgenommen und bekamen gleich Wasser zu trinken. Und die Speisen erst: Absolute Spitzenklasse was da aus der Küche kommt. Die Nachspeisen sind auch nicht zu verachten. Die Preise sind noch zu bezahlen wobei auch die Portionen sehr üppig sind. Forget pizza and kebab, because here you'll find what your stomach really needs. The food was great. The ambience is beautiful. The service, Rene, couldn't be better. We weren't looking for this restaurant, but we found it. And it was the best thing that could have happened to us. If you haven't been here yet, you've really missed something. We also wanted to change the supplement, no problem. The soup with two spoons is fine. The boss of the restaurant also did the honors to us. We'll be back because this restaurant is now one of our first addresses in the Bavarian Forest.

Unmotivated service and hectic waiters who discuss staff disagreements in front of the guests. After 50 minutes the food came with cold side dishes. At least the portion size was good. The "friendly" boss only takes care of selected guests; he lets others move around as he pleases. Maybe it's good if there's nothing going on, but otherwise you're clearly better off somewhere else.

Last week we enjoyed a wonderful evening in the beautiful beer garden. We were able to watch the delicious Sengzelten being baked and had a nice conversation with the boss. The food was excellent and the service1 was very good. At the end there was some campfire romance as the kitchen crew gathered around a fire bowl and grilled Czech sausages over the fire. If we're in the area again, we'd love to come back.

By chance I stopped by here on the way back from Sankt Englmar to Regen. This has proven to be a true pearl of gastronomy. The food tasted great and the prices were absolutely reasonable. This restaurant was recommended to us. Followed the recommendation and went there as a group of four. We sat at a free table and that was it. Everyone was looking but no one came to serve us. The gentlemen in front and were already drunk because they didn't come to pay. We didn't have that much going on either. Beaten for 20 mins. Then we decided we would change the restaurant (beer garden). As we were on the way to the car, someone suddenly came and asked if everything was ok. 🙈 This service does not reflect well on us.

Got there without a reservation and was really lucky. (6 persons) The food was delicious and we will definitely be back. The really friendly gentleman who served us deserves special mention (hope he recognizes us here... with 4 children at the round table). Unfortunately, the same personnel problem is the same here as everywhere else, but the economy can't help it. On the contrary, despite the stress, we were always served in a friendly manner, had a chat with us and were always in view. We look forward to our next visit

I ordered a salad to pick up from you about four weeks ago, with a pick-up time of 6:00 p.m. Unfortunately, around 5:00 p.m. I wasn't feeling well and had to go to the hospital. On the way there I called and asked to cancel my order. However, the employee informed me that preparation had already started. Since I had to stay in the hospital, I asked my friend to pick up the food. My friend was there promptly at 6:00 p.m., but the salad wasn't ready. He wasn't able to take the food with him until 6:20 p.m. Given this delay, I'm assuming my salad hadn't started making at 5:00 p.m., as it certainly doesn't take an hour to prepare. This experience was disappointing as I would have expected understanding for my situation.

We inquired online and with locals and were there for dinner with our two sons. We were immediately greeted upon entering the rustic beer garden and were able to choose between several tables. The umbrella was opened especially for the evening sun. Even though there were only two employees in service, everything went quickly after the order was placed and with a smile. Until the food arrived, our youngest used the small playground at the beer garden. Food was great, my wife had the fried salmon with mashed potatoes, I had the cream mushrooms with bread dumplings from the daily menu, the older one had the crunchy currywurst and the little one was happy with spaetzle with cream sauce. As hoped, the food and drinks were very tasty...and the owner also stopped by the tables for a quick chat. All in all, a clear recommendation. Thanks to the hosts

We ended up in the Blossersberger Keller by chance when we were looking for home-style cuisine during our vacation in Viechtach. And here we made a real stroke of luck. To be honest, the expectations were not particularly high, even considering the really humane prices - but they were exceeded many times over: the food (from the dumpling trio to the hunter's plate to the pork and sauerbraten) was very tasty and the portions were decent. Despite there being an event at the same time, the service was extremely friendly and accommodating and later took plenty of time for a chat. This dinner was the perfect end to the perfect day. And our ice cream eating plans are now changed in favor of another visit here to try out the quite sizable selection of cakes and tarts... P.S.: We were there with three well-behaved dogs, who were also very welcome and were immediately provided with water. A dog owner's heart just melts.
