Went there for lunch today. The service Sabine + colleague were great. Very nice and helpful helpful. Food was excellent. Never had such good goulash in a restaurant. Greetings to the kitchen. We liked it very much. Come again!

Unfortunately, the steak was not as good as usual and expected as in other Block House restaurants because it was quite burnt in places and not quite medium as ordered. The chocolate cake was delicious as always.

Great steak house, super friendly service

Block House was een paar jaar geleden voor mij een ontdekking. Telkens als ik in Duitsland ben, probeer ik daar te eten. Het eten is erg lekker en de bediening vriendelijk en efficient. Een aanrader.

The processes and service fit, typical for system catering. People here are also very friendly. Likewise the ambience. Quality is good and consistent. Unfortunately, beers come from large brewers instead of one of the regional breweries - a shame. Ice cream by Giovanni L.; Here “chain meets chain”, but each with quality. Prices not cheap but good value for money. Very child/family friendly!

Food and service was great. We'd love to come back!

We just had dinner at the Blockhouse on a Thursday. The food was great but at a restaurant with high prices I expect corresponding service. Unfortunately, we only received the steak knife upon request. Small thing but a must in a steakhouse. What's worse, however, is that in the end we were the only table occupied and 3 (!) employees were scurrying around everywhere and doing things but we as guests were completely ignored. The dessert menu was brought, the drinks were all gone, but no one came to ask if they wanted something more to drink or dessert. The restaurant management itself stood behind the counter and at the latest she should keep an eye on the guests and, if necessary, instruct her employees. We then went to the checkout to pay because no one came. I can understand it when it's full on weekends or in the summer, but being ignored like that as the only two guests in the restaurant is sad and a shame and almost an insult to the customer. It was probably the last time in the restaurant.

For me one of the best steakhouses. Anyone who loves steaks will like this place. According to my friend, the salad wasn't that good. There were far too few mushrooms here for the money. Furthermore, this salad was not visually appealing either.

Above all else, the service deserves this and the kitchen a big compliment for its friendliness, helpfulness and speed!!! The steaks perfect! Particularly The baked poatao with sour cream was delicious. The ambience has room for improvement. Especially the small bouquets of dried flowers on the tables are a bit...well... Cleanliness inside and outside was perfect. All in all recommended!

The 5 stars go to the service person Nevi, she saved our evening with her friendly and attentive service. Actually I just wanted to give 1 star for the unfriendly boss. We had reserved for 7 people and got a great table until the boss came and gave us another table with her unfriendly manner. Apparently we only made reservations for 5 people even though I called ahead and made reservations for 7 people. The boss doesn't know how to be customer-friendly; if it weren't for the service staff, we would have gotten up again. She saved our evening. The boss should work on her friendliness. Impossible! The 5 stars go to the service worker Nevi. Thanks for that!

We had dinner there today, a Friday evening. We were puzzled by the fact that there was hardly anything going on. About 10 tables were occupied, but there were a lot of waiters running around. We had reserved and were then allowed to choose a table. Idleness? Service? To celebrate the day, we first ordered an Aperol and an appetizer (bruschetta). The Aperol carelessly in a glass, as if it were the cheap series from Ikea. Then we wanted to order the main course and nothing happened. After what felt like an eternity, it did. The food came quickly, was then served to us by the now third waitress and she was gone. We would have definitely had our third drink, but they didn't seem to want to make any money from us. We even had to go in and ask if we could order something else... We ordered wine, which also came in cheap glasses. Little things like that could have created a much better ambience. Service definitely looks different. Would have also meant significantly more sales. But okay, we went home and opened some more wine there.

The BLOCK HOUSE Bielefeld is a cozy steakhouse. The service is extremely friendly and tries to accommodate all requests. The waiting times between courses are appropriate. As standard there is a steak, for example the Mr. Rumpsteak, together with a salad, a baked potato and a block of bread. So as a starter I can recommend the carpaccio which is very tasty and spicy thanks to the pesto There is a parking garage in the immediate vicinity.

It was our first time at the Block House 🏡 and it was very, very good. The service was nice and quick and everything was good. We will definitely come here again. If you want to eat a top class steak then you have to go here 😊. The inventory is also appealing. Top restaurant. Keep it up 😸

With this help, I was able to find something. The meal (steak) we chose was very tasty and recommended. In general, the entire service, who came to our table every now and then to ask if everything was OK or if we needed anything else, was very friendly and attentive. I can give a clear recommendation and we would be happy to come back.

After I was totally impressed by the Block House in Hamburg, we drove to Bielefeld today. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. My meal was good, although as a woman I eat less, I had a starter and main course and could have eaten something else. My husband had an onion soup that was only lukewarm. Unfortunately, the idea of ​​offering a drink as compensation or discounting the price of the soup didn't come up. His main course was 2 mini medallions, and so few side dishes that he was still hungry even after the starter and main course. We then gave each other dessert. But with a bill of €90.00, it's super sad that you don't even leave full.

The lunch menu is great. I would love to come for lunch. Unfortunately, the portion sizes no longer fit in the evening. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Leider sind die kinderportionen doch etwas klein wenn man mit ausgehungerten Kids dahin kommt und eine größere Auswahl an Weinen wäre toll. Filet war auf dem Punkt und Salat schön knackig. Wir kommen aber trotzdem gern wieder.

Als wir das Block House betraten, wurden wir zunächst freundlich begrüßt und aufgefordert, uns einen Platz auszusuchen. Leider änderte sich unsere anfängliche Begeisterung schnell in Enttäuschung. Nachdem wir uns gesetzt hatten, wurden wir komplett ignoriert. Andere Gäste, die anscheinend Stammkunden waren, kamen herein und wurden sofort bedient. Trotz längerer Wartezeit wurde uns weder eine Speisekarte angeboten noch irgendeine Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt. Schließlich verließen wir das Restaurant ohne bedient zu werden. Es scheint, als ob neue Kunden hier nicht besonders willkommen sind. Sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung.

Bezocht half december tijdens de kerstmarkt. Stampend vol, met 8 personen aan een tafel voor 6. Ondanks de drukte werden alle maaltijden gelijkertijd geserveerd. Open keuken. Klasse. De maaltijd zelf bestond uit een goed stuk vlees maar verder werd er weinig bij geserveerd.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, nicht nur die Steaks, und wird zügig zubereitet. Die Kellner sind stets auf Zack und immer höflich. Wir kommen gerne ins Blockhouse.

Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und die Einrichtung mit der indirekte Beleuchtung ist eine Mischung aus Naturfarben mit farbigen Akzenten. Das American Tenderloin 250 Gramm Filet war spitze und die Servicekräfte sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Absolut empfehlenswert. Deshalb 5 Sterne.

Das Essen ist gut. Nur der Garpunkt war nicht so wie bestellt. Dennoch eine Empfehlung.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend. Unser Sohn hatte zu seinem Geburtstag eingeladen. Als das Personal dies bemerkte, wurde laut Happy Birthday gespielt und Prosecco auf einem Tablett mit Fontäne gebracht. Es wurde ein Foto gemacht.Zum Schluss bekam er es als Geschenk. Wir waren alle so überrascht. Es war ein wunderschöner Abend und natürlich war auch das Essen hervorragend. Wir möchten uns ganz herzlich bedanken und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Ich muss sagen, dass das Essen hier exzellent schmeckt! Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr professionell. Insbesondere Mittagstisch, welches sich täglich ändert, ist preislich top und von der Menge her mehr als ausreichend. Über den Geschmack habe ich ja schon berichtet! Hier komme ich gerne hin und werde in Zukunft auch hoffentlich weiterhin den Service in Anspruch nehmen. Danke!

Ich bin sehr beeindruckt. Das Steak war sehr Zart, die Bedienung sehr nett. Werde wiederkommen. Und wir sind schon sehr Verwöhnt in Punkto Steak essen.

Wir hatten eine sehr aufmerksame, schnelle und freundliche Bedienung, Ambiente und Sitzgelegenheiten haben uns auch gut gefallen. Der New York Cheeseburger mit extra Bacon war sehr lecker. Leider waren mir die Pommes etwas zu dünn/trocken und meine Frau hat im Angebot ein Putensteak vermisst, was in anderen Steakhäusern zum Standardangebot gehört. Daher halt nur 4 Sterne...
