Somewhat disappointing, considering I haven't been there for a few years, the quality has declined quite a bit.

Perfect restaurant with great steaks

We wanted to spend a nice evening last night. We ordered food and drinks. We then wanted salad and asked for plates. We were told that the plates would be brought to the table. When the plates arrived, we got up and got us salad. We were then told that this was not acceptable and that we should put the plates down immediately. We then told the waiter that we had lost our appetite. He then just said to us, then we can leave, which we did. We have never experienced anything like this before and will never visit the restaurant again or recommend it to anyone. Hospitality is simply being trampled underfoot.

Could a lamb steak possibly taste any better than this?! Especially combined with their fantastic mushroom sauce, it was simply heavenly. The meat is very tasty, prepared and cooked exactly as you like it. I can't recommend the €10 salad buffet, as it had too limited a selection and was not refilled. The sauces aren't homemade. The onion soup was okay, but not outstanding. Most of the staff are friendly and accommodating. I wanted to take a photo of the great meat on the grill and was yelled at.

I recently visited the Argentina Steakhouse in Bielefeld (Niederwall 47) and was not disappointed. The medium steak was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor – I was particularly impressed by the Chateau Briand. The atmospheric, cozy interior invites you to relax. The staff was professional and friendly, although they didn't always refill drinks (they could have been a bit more attentive at some tables). All in all, the evening was a great success – definitely my favorite steakhouse in Bielefeld!

With almost 40 years of high quality, it's practically a cult favorite among East Westphalia's carnivores. The fact that the interior has remained virtually unchanged since its opening, and the waiters continue to cultivate a friendly, gruff attitude, only reinforces this cult status. However, this may be a bit disconcerting for new guests.

The Argentina Steakhouse in Bielefeld's city center is located near the district court. It serves the best steaks in the city. Although the steakhouse is busy, you can sit quietly and chat. The menu offers few pre-made dishes; you can order all the components separately. The prices are reasonable. For example, a sirloin steak costs €14, but you should also order salad, side dishes, and sauces. The service staff is professional and friendly, but sometimes seems a bit overwhelmed by the crowd. The drink prices are also perfectly reasonable. We'll be back.

A strange mix between Steick Haus and McDonald's. The meat was a steak with a salad leaf, and primitive French fries from the freezer. But the strangest thing is that not a single employee spoke Spanish in an Argentine restaurant. Of course, it's not mandatory to have Spanish-speaking waiters and waitresses in Germany, but if you're positioning yourself as the best Argentine restaurant, this one assumes Latin culture should be present! I won't go to this place again.

The steaks are always cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. Among the side dishes, the corn with bacon and the baked potato with sour cream are highly recommended. About the atmosphere: Unfortunately, the place was very noisy throughout our entire stay, making it difficult to have a conversation when sitting opposite each other. About the food: The food tasted good. I was very satisfied with the side dishes (beans and potato wedges). Unfortunately, my steak wasn't cooked medium-rare, as requested and ordered (that shouldn't happen in a place like this, but it can happen sometimes). However, the waiter kindly took it back and put it back on the grill. The only pity was that it took a while, which meant that my companion had already finished eating and the side dishes were already cold. About the service: Unfortunately, the service wasn't very attentive. This was also due to the number of guests. This means you always have to wave them over if you have any requests.

The ambiance was great, the service was good, but the food unfortunately didn't impress us in terms of taste (especially for the price). It was okay, but we wouldn't come back for that reason. Unfortunately, the food gave me stomach cramps and an upset stomach shortly afterward (and I'm usually very sensitive to these things). It's a real shame, but for us personally, it's a 3-star rating.

I have known the Argentina since it opened in 1987 and have not noticed any change in the rustic interior since then, but it is typically rustic and not uncomfortable. I can attest that the quality of the fillet with papa asada, garlic bread and Argentina salad is consistently good. The price is fair and the price/performance ratio is good. The staff is friendly, but sometimes seems a bit rushed, probably due to the large number of customers. It's been a solid steakhouse for years.
