Blaue Adria in Hamburg

The food was delicious. I had the mushroom schnitzel, and the fries were very good, as were the schnitzel and the sauce. The mushrooms themselves were also very good—a 10 out of 10.

We've been visiting the Blue Adriatic regularly for years, and the food is always consistently good! Today we had roast beef with onions *****, grilled lamb fillet *****, and scampi salad ***** - everything was fantastic!

This was my first visit to this restaurant—and definitely not the last! I received a warm welcome as soon as I entered and immediately felt welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with thoughtful details reminiscent of a vacation on the Adriatic coast. The food was simply fantastic. The portions are generous, and the value for money is absolutely fair. The service also deserves high praise: friendly, attentive, but never intrusive. A real insider tip for anyone who loves authentic Mediterranean cuisine. I'd love to come back!

Addendum: One point deducted because it advertised card payments, but only cash payments were accepted. There were three of us: my wife, me, and our dog. We received a very friendly welcome – the waitress always had a good vibe, complete with a warm smile! My wife had the cordon bleu – huge, crispy breading, and perfectly cooked. I had the 260g rare rump steak – it was a dream – cooked to perfection! Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. The food didn't taste great, and the ingredients seemed to be past their freshest. I was particularly impressed by the potatoes: they had a rubbery texture, seemed translucent, and tasted extremely strange – I've never eaten potatoes that bad. I even checked again after they were served to make sure they were really potatoes. They were definitely very old and should never have been served in that condition. The service also left a lot to be desired: despite a very small order, two items were forgotten. Furthermore, we weren't informed until paying that only cash payments were accepted. Since we were €5 short, I had to leave my mother at the restaurant and run home to get some money. Overall, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

The food is really delicious. We've been there several times and always tried something different. Steak, fish, cevabcici, etc. are really good. If you have a special request, they'll fulfill it as best they can, without any grumbling or complaining. We can only recommend it!

I really loved my visit! The atmosphere is super cozy - you can immediately tell that attention to detail has been paid here. The owners are incredibly friendly and create a relaxed, family atmosphere. And the food? Simply delicious! Fresh, tasty and cooked with a lot of heart. I'll definitely be back!

Good price/performance ratio. Nice staff. Fried potatoes are great. Fries are probably frozen. It's a shame that they aren't homemade, hence only 4 stars. But still recommended.

Was there the second time and can only judge the liver with fried potatoes. It tasted very good and was a good portion. Unfortunately you can't pay with card there, only cash.

We looked for a restaurant near our holiday apartment and found the Adria. Overall we weren't that happy. The ground steak was very fatty and not seasoned enough for me. Unfortunately, the garlic bread with tzatziki wasn't crispy enough and the requested mayo was brought to the table in a broken tube. For almost the same money we ate much better at the Greek restaurant a day later, so unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't add up at all in comparison.

Today on a weekend trip I looked where there was something with fish, found the ADRIA restaurant within walking distance of the hotel, got a warm welcome when we got there, decided on the fish platter for 2 for around €29, we weren't disappointed, the fish was delicious 🐟, Note only cash payment, I'll be happy to come back

Good and friendly service, good home cooking to fill you up, the portion was too big for me. The decor is a bit old, but it's still a cozy neighborhood pub with acceptable prices.

We were welcomed warmly and friendly. The service was not professional but always tried hard and always friendly. Seen in this way, not disturbing. The restaurant was fine and clean. But not to rave about. It is questionable whether I will drive all the way to Hamburg again to see this restaurant. After all, it's over 50km. The food tasted okay. Is it possible that the dessert “ice cream mix” comes out of the package? So everything is pretty ok. With the right people it was still a successful evening.

The meat was of good quality and well cooked. However, it wasn't a pepper sauce that was served but a far too salty ready-made sauce from a canister with a few peppercorns. A pepper steak is something different. It's a shame, otherwise there would be a better rating from me.

Delicious and warm. Small, cozy restaurant in the heart of Rothenburgsort with authentic Croatian cuisine à la chef. Fresh salad, juicy minced sticks, soft baguette and hot vegetables as well as fish specialties can be enjoyed here. There is also dessert and all common drinks, both with and without alcohol. The attentive and warm service leaves nothing to be desired and has the store under control. Everything is clean and in summer with a beautiful and sheltered outdoor terrace. Always my pleasure. We ate here as a family 4 times in one week because we loved it so much. The food is fresh and very well prepared. We really enjoyed all the different dishes. The service is very warm and attentive, you feel like you are with friends in the living room.

Kleines feines schlichtes Restaurant. Portionen waren reichlich und sehr schmackhaft. Bedienung war aufmerksam, freundlich und flink.

Qualität und Preise gehen noch in Ordnung. Wenn wegen der gestiegenen Preise das Trinkgeld etwas kleiner ausfällt, bekommt man das zu spüren.

eher etwas für den deutschen Gaumen. Die typischen Saucen gab's leider nicht, eine Currysauce mit Zwiebeln und Gewürzen, die aber erstaunlicher Weise gut passte. Pommes knusprig,ćevape saftig aber leider nicht typisch balkanisch. Die Bedienung war perfekt,sehr freundlich und kompetent. Die Terrassenfläche ist super an einen heißen Sommerabend.

Einfach nur lecker. Preis Ieistung stimmt. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Achtung, auf dem Weg zur Toilette gibt es eine steile Treppe in den Keller.

Die Einrichtung und auch das äußere Erscheinungsbild, ähneln mehr einer Kneipe, als einem Restaurant. Auf Empfehlung, eines Bekannten, probierte ich das Restaurant aus. Schon bei der telefonischen Bestellung, wurde ich darauf hingewiesen, dass Tzatziki nicht inclusive sei. Ich kenne es, von mehreren Kroatischen Restaurants, dass immer drei Saucen, zum Fleisch, gereicht werden. Aus Kulanz bekam ich dann aber doch einen kleinen Plastikbecher, mit Sauce dazu. Das Fleisch ( Pleskavica ) schmeckte irgendwie seltsam. Eine Gewürzmischung, die ich nicht zuordnen konnte und mir auch nicht schmeckte. Auch die Pommes waren nicht besonders. Der Reis war in Ordnung.

Super Bratkartoffeln, die Pleskjavica war geschmacklich gut, die Konsistenz sprach aber eher für Convenience oder TK, das war leider nicht so super. Leckere, aber sehr sehr sehr(!) große Bruschetta. Essen ansonsten generell eher fettig, aber grundsolide und in Ordnung. Bedienung sehr nett! Freundliches Ambiente!

Das Essen war sehr gut...vom Scampi Salat über den lustigen Bosnier....alles sehr reichlich...Fleisch fisch(zander)salate selbst die knoblauch 🍞 Brote.. alles echt lecker. Der Laden ist eine kleine perle....der Chef in der Küche..die Chefin am Tresen und Bedienung...ein familien Unternehmen das ein Stück Adria in uns gezaubert hat... GEHT da HIN...

Plätze drinnen und draußen. Einfaches Ambiente aber sauber und gepflegt soweit ich das gesehen habe. Das Essen war ausreichend und definitiv lecker. Auf schnickack wird verzichtet was ich vollkommen okay finde,dafür stimmt Preis. Die Bedienung war nicht überfreundlich aber nett und zackig. Ich kann es empfehlen 👍

Saftigstes schnitzel hamburgs!! Nette leute, super athmo, top lage direkt bei der s bahn. Ich bin begeistert! 10/10 wenn ihr diesen laden verdrängen wollt, dann brennt die stadt.

Wir waren auf unserer Durchreise bei Blaue Adria. Ich kann das Restaurant jedem empfehlen. Das Essen ist mehr als gut und die Portionen für das Geld mehr als genug. Nicht weiter suchen, sondern einfach mal was anderes ausprobieren. Lecker, gut und wunderbar, freundlich, einfach schön. Danke an das Adria Team.

Der Familienbetrieb hat seine Preise erhöht. Das könnte ich verstehen, wenn die übigen Speisen so groß geblieben wären. Als alte Rothenburgorter sind wir enttäuscht. Ein von zwei Essen war kalt und satt sind wir auch nicht geworden ... sehr schade :-(

Wir waren am Nachmittag dort und fast die einzigen Gäste. Die Kleinigkeiten, die wir gegessen haben, waren lecker, die Bedienung ausgesprochen freundlich, das Lokal hat schon bessere Tage gesehen, war aber insgesamt sauber.
